    The ME:LE is a weak and pathetic cash grab. The work was done by another company at BioWare's direction - this is rather telling of the lack of talent left within BioWare; they can't even modernize their own IP. ME1's graphics look decidedly worse, as they didn't employ ray tracing or even bother to get the lighting right - everything is darker and washed out. Instead of having a reticle that changes size with power usage and firing, the new game has a terrible reticle that just bounces all over the place. Honestly, I prefer the original Mass Effect. It would be different if they brought in cover usage similar to ME3 where we can use corners and left and right hand advantage - zero effort was put in to make it happen.

    ME2 is essentially untouched with the exception of editing out Miranda Lawson's gratuitous butt scenes. While this is not a deal breaker or anything - it is rather telling of BioWare's sense of (or lack thereof) direction.

    ME3 is the same appalling pile of crap. The deal breaker endings are not addressed. Do not get this game with the hoped that the endings are fixed - they are NOT. The endings are still the same nonsensical pile of appalling excrement.

    If you were hoping that the series was somehow made "Legendary", you will be sorely disappointed. If the ME:LE were free, you'd still be getting ripped off. Just play the originals with a few mods from the Nexus - not only will it look better than the ME:LE, it will actually still play like Mass Effect.    … Expand

    The game needs the option "ENGLISH VOICE ACTING + RUSSIAN SUBTITLES". The fact is that the voice acting in the Russian version is simply disgusting.

    Audio is completely broken (see other reviews) and it has become a total bullet-sponge game. Stand in front of an AI too stupid to know what a gun is and empty a clip in their face. NEXT! As much as the textures have been upgraded this is not worth playing in 2021.

    Game won't even run.

    Loads up menu and game selection screen then just crashes. Tried everything I could find online, made no difference.

    Big waste of money.

    Buggy, that's my experience. So bad in my case it was unplayable and was returned. Do these software companies undertake beta testing before releasing these titles into the wild? I have to wonder.

    Bioware la hizo fácil, borraron un DLC por no tener ganas de repararlo, remasterizaron los colores y a la bolsa, lanzaron el juego muy caro y con faltantes. Para los jugadores nuevos, lo recomiendo, no vas a gastar en los originales, o sí, es a gusto de cada quien. Pero otra vezs Bioware ha mentido, como con eso de LAS DESICIONES IMPORTAN, en el 3 puedes hacer lo que quieras que noBioware la hizo fácil, borraron un DLC por no tener ganas de repararlo, remasterizaron los colores y a la bolsa, lanzaron el juego muy caro y con faltantes. Para los jugadores nuevos, lo recomiendo, no vas a gastar en los originales, o sí, es a gusto de cada quien. Pero otra vezs Bioware ha mentido, como con eso de LAS DESICIONES IMPORTAN, en el 3 puedes hacer lo que quieras que no importan en absoluto, salvo en misiones secundarias algo cambiadas, pero eso es otra historia, el juego en sí es EXCELENTE y no te lo pierdas si no lo conoces.     The game is a mess! Combat is decades old and feels the same after "Legendary" overhaul. Yeah they made textures sharper. Yeah the game supports 4K. Yeah it is Shepard and we love her. But game bugs and awful combat is all over the place. Yeah they added some cover to Matriarch Benezia fight floor to balance the combat.     Крайне ленивый ремастер. Даже не постарались изменить тот ужас, который представляет собой инвентарь первого массыча, но с этим я бы ещё смог жить. Однако, наличие самой убогой версии русского перевода и озвучки (которые лучше было бы забыть как страшный сон) в первом МЕ - напрочь отбивает любое желание к этому прикасаться.Крайне ленивый ремастер.     Oddly enough, despite giving it a mixed review, its mostly a matter of context. If you have never played any of the mass effect games or bought them before, and are a fan of RPGs/shooters, then this is 100% a good purchase.

    To put that in perspective, however, it is also an inferior purchase to buying the older trilogy edition and applying the most popular user-created mods to it.     The only reason I could imagine for releasing this version would be is if they changed the highly controversial and disliked ending to the trilogy; which they didn't.

    Buy the trilogy edition instead, mod the hell out of it to get better graphics, more options, and more gameplay than the legendary offers, and enjoy.    … Expand

    As a Die Hard ME Fanboy who even loved Andromeda i am very dissapointed for the Price/Value of Mass Effect Legendary Edition!

    ME1: was nowhere near of what i expected it to be, a few higher Textures here and there and lots of old and new Bugs made it hard to enjoy once you put down your Nostalgia Sunglasses.
    Frameratedrops and stuttering on Planets while driving around with the Mako, hell i am able to play almost all modern Games in Ultra Details 60fps+ Cyberpunk? check! Tomb Raider? check! and the List goes on... and then you look at a Diashow in ME1 remaster O.o
    The Gameplay was still clunky and the Worlds lifeless, a few minor Details would have worked Wonders there.

    ME2: currently playing and witnessing alot of Bugs in Animations and Game errors up to freezes or Crashes so most likely no good Feedback too...good thing this is free for ea pro subs, would have already refunded the 60$ they want...

    And speaking of combat, ME1 is as clunky as ever, nothing remotely improved. No credible gameplay improvements in ME2 or ME3 either. Just lipstick-on-a-pig fluff screen content. And don't get me started on the ridiculous Origin overlay if you bought it on Steam.

    Not even a discount offered to those who already have ME1/2 on Steam or ME1/2/3 on Origin - UNLESS you bought ME3 for a second time on Steam, despite having it on Origin since 2012.

    The Bioware of old is long dead. They are the Husks, and EA are the Reapers. So save your money & stick with the original games. They're far more moddable & there's tons of mods to try.    … Expand

Sadly, no miracles to be expected, it is still a 2007 game which can now run in 4K and wide screens - but still has look and feel of a 2007 game. It is just now you can see emptiness of the details and year 2007 level of textures and animation in 4K. Yeah, amazing.

The cinematic lighting of mass effect 1 has been butchered by them adding a floodlight into most scenes and in some scenes they have even removed the original lighting. not only does this ruin the original feel of the game, it results in cardinal sins suchWARNING. As for this remaster, it gives us zero new experience, only bugs and limitations. If you don't agree with me, just compare it with remasters and remakes of Half Life, Resident Evil, Age of Empires, Mafia etc. EA,As one of the old fans of Bioware game studio i was expecting nothing from "Legendary" edition.     I love the game. I'm playing whole trilogy from start to finish at least once a year.
    I mostly like the ME1 in LE, I like the textures, new UI, even new control is fine (except for mako, in my opinion classic is good, with classic I could scope and move in desired location, however new one is not so easy and most of the time I go toward the place I'm aiming at). Some bugs are also breaking the picture (you can toggle helmets for the squad if you go to squad menu via esc, direct access to squad menu wont allow you toggle helmets on your team). Also during my ME1LE run I've experienced dozens of crashes, while the original game could run for 6-7 hours without a single crash. Lots of bugs from original still exists (Noveria infinite Paragon and Renegade points etc).
    However my negative point is not for that. I'm giving the lowest point possible because in 2021 you can bring more configuration control to end-user, give them ability to change graphics as they want to, bacause those lens flairs are killing my eyes, I want to have contol on bloom, depth of field etc.
    And also, as a Russian speaking player I highly disagree with this "golden" translation integrated into the game. It's only part 1 that was translated and it's kinda stupid to force to play 1st game with awful translation, and the 2nd and 3rd with only translated subtitles. Atmosphere is lost, russian translation voice actors are awful (compared to original) also sometimes, some things are changed. Yes there is the way to alter some files to be able to play with Russian subs and original voices. But why? Why should I dive deep into files architecture and fix something? It's not so hard to create an option for subs version and audio version. It's 60$ remaster. Is it so hard to just use your mind?

    I teraz kilka moich uwag odnośnie tej edycji (a właściwie pierwszego ME) :
    1). EA nie tylko nie wyeliminowało bugów z oryginału, ale i dodało nowe - np. na Feros gdy możemy podejść do świecącej się kuli w odnóżach żniwiarza gra mi się zgliczowała i do końca misji na tej planecie moja postać nie mogła korzystać z osłon, bo..nie.
    2). Nie wiem czy to błąd, ale po pierwszej wizycie w    I teraz kilka moich uwag odnośnie tej edycji (a właściwie pierwszego ME) :
    1). EA nie tylko nie wyeliminowało bugów z oryginału, ale i dodało nowe - np. na Feros gdy możemy podejść do świecącej się kuli w odnóżach żniwiarza gra mi się zgliczowała i do końca misji na tej planecie moja postać nie mogła korzystać z osłon, bo..nie.

    2). Nie wiem czy to błąd, ale po pierwszej wizycie w sklepiku na cytadeli (kwatermistrz) mogłem już kupić broń dla widm (niestety nie miałem hajsu, a Kaidana nikt nie chciał kupić:), ale gdy już zostałem widmem i miałem odpowiednią ilość hajsu to dopiero łaskawie gra pozwoliła mi na zakup tych broni dopiero po misji na Virmirze, gdy już miałem maksymalną ilość kasy - wtedy jak wcześniej zniknęły z oferty kwatermistrza te bronie, tak nagle się pojawiły! Czad!

    3). Inteligencja przeciwników i naszych towarzyszy - Jezusie słodki, nie pamiętam czy tak było w oryginale, ale na średnim poziomie trudności nasi przeciwnicy potrafią się zablokować (stać w miejscu) i nie reagować na to, że do nich nawalamy. Nasi towarzysze to już w ogóle kretyni! Stanie taki Wrex i napierdziela w ścianę, bo za ścianą jest przeciwnik!

    4). Optymalizacja! Nie wiem co EA zrobiło, ale na planetach na których nie ma głównych misji, ale na których możemy wylądować bardzo często podczas jazdy Maco pojawia się praktycznie 'slajd szoł"! Na RTXie 3080 w 1440p gra potrafi wyświetlać nawet po 40 klatek na sekundę! Natomiast na planetach gdzie są główne misje nie ma tego problemu! I z tego co czytałem na internetach nie jest to tylko mój problem! Brawo EA!

    5). Grafika dupy nie urywa, ale jest ok. Muzyka - nie ma się czego doczepić.

    6). I najgorsze i to co na 100% odrzuci nowych graczy od ME LE - brak usprawnień w stosunku do oryginału! To, co zostało poprawione w ME2 można było bardzo łatwo przenieść do ME 1 LE - np. informacja w % o eksploracji planet! Jestem osobą która "liże ściany" - mam zrobione wszystkie misje poboczne oprócz jednej - mam 6 artefaktów Protean i naprawdę nie chce mi się już szukać ostatniego, siódmego fragmentu - za dużo planet i brak jakiejkolwiek informacji o tym, gdzie już byłem - nie mam już ochoty po 31 godzinach gry oblatywać na nowo wszystkich planet! A oprócz tego mam wszystko zrobione - i pisma Asari i te badziewia od Turian i wszystkie minerały! Ech EA - a wystarczyło dołożyć wzorem dwójeczki procentową ilość eksploatacji planet!

    7). Gra jak wciągała kiedyś, tak wciąga nadal teraz! Ale nowi gracze odbiją się od tej edycji z prostego powodu - archaizmów i naleciałości "czasowych" tych gier (zwłaszcza jedynki). A oryginalne edycje wraz z DLC nadal kosztują niewspółmiernie dużo w stosunku do tego, co obecnie oferują!

    8). Ja ME1 z EL oceniam na 6/10 i ani punktu więcej! Zwłaszcza, że nie ma tutaj dodatku Pinnacle Station (DLC "Niebo" na szczęście jest!).

    9). Oficjalna blokada regionalna - albo grasz z polskim dubbingiem, albo z angielskim! Nie można grać z angielskim dubbingiem i polskimi napisami - bo nie! Na szczęście na nexusie są dostępne mody dzięki którym można spokojnie ustawić angielski dubbing i polskie napisy - ale tylko w wersji PC. Jak można takie badziewie wydawać w 2021 roku!?! EA to jednak stan umysłu!!!

    Odnośnie ME2 i 3 z LE, to moje wrażenie jest jedno : Jezus Maria jak oni mogli to tak sp....ć!?! DLC w oryginale ME2 miałem spolszczone (mody) i wiedziałem, że w edycji LE nie będzie ich po naszemu, ale na Boga - Kasumi, czy Zead niekiedy mają spolszczone dialogi (mowa o napisach), a niekiedy nie! WTF?!? I najlepsze - opisy niektórych broni, czy pancerzy są po angielsku, a niektóre po polsku! A teraz gwóźdź programu : w menu gdzie wybieram sobie jaką amunicję używam i zmieniam giwery nawet jest lokalizacyjny misz-masz - granat inferno i cały jego opis jest po angielsku, a np. opis strzału wstrząsowego jest już po polsku! Ja pi.....ę EA - wam się nie chciało nawet wrzucić opisów broni z DLC do "gugle translatora" i tłumaczenia wrzucić do gry! Wam się nie chciało nawet zajumać tłumaczeń od moderów i wkleić ich do gry! Ja pier....! Jak można było odwalić taką manianę?!! Ja się wcale nie dziwię, że EA Polska, że na fejsie, twitku i insta siedzi cicho! Coś co można załatać jednym patchem nigdy nie zostanie załatane oficjalnie, jak znam EA. Sprawę naprawią moderzy za jakiś czas! Jak można za takie gówno wołać 270zł! ME1 z LE faktycznie widać, że jest coś zrobili. Dwójka praktycznie nic nie jest poprawione względem oryginału. Trójka pewnie tak samo! Ech... Ta cała Edycja Legendarna nie jest warta więcej jak 59.99zł.

    I ostanie : DLC które w oryginale są tylko po angielsku na mapie galaktyki mają nawet opisy po angielsku! Brawo EA! Brawo!

    Unfortunately in Russian localization we can't use the English original sound and Russian subtitles. Russian localization is terrible and most players can't hear it without blood from his ears. Also, we have problems with launcher and EA support keep silent all weekend.

И отличий там совсем практически нет...Кроме графона который скорее всего натянут нейросетями.. О как ЕА и заработали нехило на фанатах и работать не пришлось... Also seeing Xbox button prompts when using a PS4 controller is another disappointment not to mention the limited settings menu. Along with some of the models looking very weird in mass effect one, captain Anderson’s eyes peer into my soul even now.     Complete trash port. No voices on ME1 and the fix is long. The game should work but NO we are expecting too much. Always selling incomplete and half baked trash. Just a cashgrab. Use ALOT on original trilogy instead.

    I'm only Rating this a 10 because the Russian Community is being a bit weird right now and bombing this game for an inconvenience. Its a 9. Great series. Mediocre Ending. First game is more an RPG than a shooter. But from ME2 on its smooth sailing

    Bare minimum upgrade , with tampering to the origional games that were masterpeices..MA 1 was an RPG, now is a generic shooter. I played all 3 game right before this remaster was released and just limethe Sillent Hill HD collection, changes have been made that effect , mood, context, even some conversations have been messed with.

Not because I would not like the idea of an epic older game with new graphics, but rather because I know that such a thing is not why a developer usually decides to do a remaster or a remake.Mass Effect Legendary Edition is a 2021 remaster of the original Mass Effect Shepherd trilogy. I have to say that I am generally very suspicious of the remasters or remakes of great games of the past. Not because I would not like the idea of an epic older game with new graphics, but rather because I know that such a thing is not why a developer usually decides to do a remaster or a remake. They do it, of course, because of money. ME:LE is no different in this regard. To demand 60 dollars for a not very good remaster with a fatal flaw (see below) from fans, who most likely already own the original trilogy, which, when modded, looks better than said remaster, is a despicable outrage worthy of the worst. But it is the truth: few free, easy to install mods will make the original games look noticeably better than the contemporary remaster. Truth be told, the game runs smoothly, there are very little to no bugs, but there is one giant flaw. There is no antialiasing. Apparently because of the new directX version, the original AA just does not work and apparently the developers could not have been bothered to make a new one, so there you have it, enjoy 150 hours of jagged edges. This is staggering error and the remaster should not have been released without proper AA. It is very immersion breaking and for some people it makes the remaster outright unplayable. Also there is no official reshade, the remaster features the original bleak colors, so you still need to go and download mods to remedy that. But do not worry, because Miranda's ass, the largest (pun not intended) problem in the galaxy has been fixed and removed from your screen. Luckily there is a mod, that restores this great moment in gaming history. Speaking of which, the modding scene, formerly a domain of nerds and neckbeards is being lately invaded by SJW cuckolds creating mods like More gay romances and even one that removes the best feature in the trilogy: Miranda's and EDI's cameltoes. Seriously why would you want to remove that? Are you that uncomfortable with the female body? But I digress.

    So all in all, you just paid 60 dollars for literary nothing. Final verdict: 5% (for the cameltoes).    … Expand

    Зачем было выпускать целых 3 игры в одном 89Гб слишком много и качается очень долго можно сказать целый дёнь или 3-5ч лучше по отдельности выпускали как с игрой Metro Exodus легче будет играть игру где старым графоном

They should learn from those Demon Souls guys (bluepoint or something).     The lighting has been RUINED animations butchered all the atmosphere is gone. Make way for gamepad UI everyone. So much could've been done but instead you get a minimal graphical upgrade that actually makes the game look like soulless trash. Don't waste your money get the originals instead and manually set your resolution to 1080p / 4k and you have literally a better experience.

    Some things about Legendary Edition disappointed or irritated me (no support for the mods, no option to import save files or characters from the original games, no multiplayer in ME3, Denuvo, some bugs and glitches) but as an avid fan who played through the trilogy many times, I enjoyed the remasters immensely.     Mass Effect Legendary Edition is not just a love letter to fans, but also a great gift that BioWare is making to newcomers to the series. Although some of the issues present in the original games haven't been fixed, there are so many improvements to the first two Mass Effect titles that I'm willing to overlook the minor bugs. The entire trilogy sends players throughout this amazing sci-fi universe that feels alive and vibrant everywhere you look. Perhaps these games should have been remastered separately to get the attention they deserve, but having the entire trilogy in a single bundle that's perfectly playable nearly 15 years after the release of the first game is surely convenient.

    Beautiful, engaging and every bit as fun as it was nearly 15 years ago, Mass Effect Legendary Edition lives up to the name. It's a gorgeous, robust title that will make veterans remember how much they enjoyed the series while giving newcomers a memorable ride for the first time. There's no question you should pick this up if you fall into either category because Commander Shepard deserves that much attention.
