It's a disappointing, short, overpriced dlc, that has no major impact on the main story whatsoever. Sure, it's cool to see Aria again. Sure, it's cool to visit Omega again... but for what price. I've expected more than this. Pickens out.

Omega isn't bad but it's a bad value. The action and environments are very good but the story is pretty plain and vanilla. I was hoping for things like side-quests or possible tie-ins to the main storyline. This is as stand-alone as it gets. Plus, it's only around 3 hours long.

If you're getting this one to "revisit" Omega, I wouldn't recommend it. You fight your way through it and

Worth it for $5 - 7 tops, but not worth the $15 it typically goes for.

It lacks a sense of lasting import. [March 2013, p.111]

You can safely skip this DLC if you don't care about the fate of the Omega station, the ending to the Mass Effect: Invasion comic book, or Aria's personal journey.

A not so good DLC that's been presented as a straightforward, almost tunnel-like action game with no bearing on the original events nor the characters at all. All in all, even if you take its bright moments of fun, strangely you feel the new chapter, or more precisely the new stand-alone short story (like from the Mass Effect 3 book), is pointless.
