    Of the minuses, only bugs. Sometimes you had to reload the checkpoint due to the fact that your partner was stuck and he was not sent, in battle he was not, it was not possible to use his abilities.

    And so an excellent game, awesome music, a worthy plot.

    Me surpreende que esse jogo tenho ganhado só um 80/100 no geral, porque esse jogo é bom demais, adorei cada momento, principalmente os personagens e as interações que ocorrem entre eles. A história é interessante mas não lá aquelas coisas. O combate é meia boca mas pelo menos tem o sistema de habilidades que é bem legal.     While the movement can be slightly clunky and there are a couple of bugs, they are minuscule compared to the story, characters, and world this game creates. All the characters fell alive and it feels lime you really are the leader of a team rather than a playable character with a bunch of lifeless NPCs occasionally talking.

    The story is fantastic, with interesting choices that made me one time restart the game and check a guide to see how they actually affect the game and damn these are some serious decisions you have to make. However, its kinda lame that with these choices the game wont let you save before, i mean the whole manual save stuff and save slots are useless cuz the game saves automatically all the time and if you have done some progress and saved manually and load that file you will be restored to the last autosave on the same slot you initially saved manually, kind of odd but ok it didn't ruin for me. Combat is extremely engaging and fun! Graphics OMFG on a high-end pc with rtx and dlss, that's a sweet kiss, the game is optimized extremely well on pc! with a 2080ti max settings and balanced rtx i get an average of 100-143fps on 3440x1440p (yet is also depends on the ram and cpu you use but hey even on a 1080 you can rock this game).
    Story wise (i noticed i mentioned that twice but hey here me out), let's put it this way, Ever been to salt baes steak house and had a nice meal with the family or friends? you remember how good that meal was and how you can't stop thinking about it because it is so memorable and excellent? yeah that's the same feeling you would get with marvels guardians of the galaxy, which i am a fan of the movies as well, but damn the game is AMAZING!!!
    Overall to make it short and top it all off, the game is excellent! it falls short due to the lack of polish which the game truly needs. But other than that, you are looking on one hell of an experience! Truly remarkable and I hope eidos Montreal makes a sequel with their new publisher, because if you do the best ending, you will see how open the game ended even after the credits.     Great adventure! Got so much joy from this game. The gameplay seems too basic and simple sometimes, but all the mechanics are perfectly bonded with story and atmosphere. At some point you just let go all the criticism and start having a pure fun.
    The people who made this game are obviously in love with Guardians lore. Thank you for this journey!

    It is one of the most addictive and likable games that I have ever played. Playing the game feels like spending enjoyable time with friends. Graphics are really nice and optimization is great too even with rtx on. The story does not have much wow factor and it had a somewhat slow start but it is a good enough excuse to keep playing.     A fantastic game. Some of the interactions between the characters can become annoying early on but irons out as the game progresses.

    Let me start off with the best part of the game. I was pleasantly surprised how interesting the plotline was. It’s good enough to be its own movie! I was also pleasantly surprised by the personalities, excellent dialogue, the voice acting, and the character modeling was. There are even optional dialogs where you can go into each character’s personal stories. The storyline even hadLet me start off with the best part of the game. The storyline even had “heart”, where I found myself tearing up after characters were sharing deep issues like suicide or loss. I was laughing a lot when Rocket was making rants, Starlord making jokes, and lots of funny little incidents throughout my playthrough. There is a TON of dialogs in this game. As you move with your group of friends in the level, every 10-15 seconds they talked to each other with something interesting. They even gave the character that I controlled a chance to weigh in on my opinion. By the end of the game, I fell in love with ALL the characters and really cared for them.

    The graphics are very good. I was mesmerized by all the cool background landscapes of the first levels. It’s full of VERY imaginative levels.

    I was actually surprised how much configurations you can do in the settings. You can adjusts so many things in the sounds settings. The display settings has a ton of features. There’s even accessibility settings to adjust the difficulty of quick time events, game hints, and much more.

    There are a few game breaking bugs that forced me to restart the last checkpoint. For example, sometimes my character would be stuck on a piece of geometry and i'm stuck in it forever. A quick load from the last checkpoint fixed this. There was another issue where nothing was selectable and the character voices just stopped, forcing a restart.

    Sometimes the sounds would skip a little for awhile when I restarted the game. The game also never saves your brightness settings after you close it so everytime you restart the game you have to change the brightness settings again.
    The gameplay was not great, but still very good. There is a really simple set of skills where you can pick which skill you’d like to get. I like the stagger mechanic, where you fill this meter up by doing stagger abilities so the enemy will take more damage and stay stunned for a while. I wish the skill tree had more skills in the game. Also, I found the fighting part of the game is a little bit too easy towards the end of the game. I just do the same overpowered abilities and the enemies go down very easily. This was on normal difficulty. Luckily these fights don’t last too long.

    As you progress throughout the game, there is a journal that is filled out in Star Lord’s perspective with cute drawings and stickers and his personal opinions on things. It was a nice touch and a good way to summarize the story so far.

    Being a story-driven game, it is really linear. I couldn't pick whatever next level i wanted. The game just rewards you sometimes when you pick a “correct” conversation dialog option in the form of a shortcut, more money, or a special bonus cutscene. Of course, if you picked the other choice you still get an alternate scene caused from a different outcome from your choice.

    There is a lot of replayability with this game. The new game plus keeps a lot of the stuff from the first playthrough like your levels, skills, and collectibles. It's an opportunity to collect items you missed or alternate dialog options.

    Overall, this game was fantastic despite a few minor flaws mentioned above. Kudos to the staff who wrote the story line script and the dialog. If there ever was a sequel to this game, I’d be very excited to play it.    … Expand

    And my god it surprised me. I went in with absolutely no expectations and got out of it completely blown away. The story is great, character building is top notch, even made me emotional a few times thanks to some great performances by the VAs. It's also astounding from a visual standpoint, environments, facial animations, etc. The soundtrack is also great, both the OST and licensed songs, it accompanies the gameplay and story so well. Beating it took me around 17hours, which I think was the perfect duration for a linear single player story driven game.

    Last but not least, I really enjoyed the gameplay in general because it builds up from a pretty simple base, getting deeper as you upgrade Peter and buy new abilites for the Guardians, being able to do some sick team combos if you use the right abilities at the right time.

    And finally, this game has NO MICROTRANSACTIONS, everything can be unlocked through gameplay, which is a rare thing nowadays, and it shouldn't be. Lots of games should take note on how this game does it instead of putting every cosmetic item or collectible behind a paywall.

    Again, I got surprised by this game for all the good reasons. Even after playing it on Game Pass, I'll try to buy it on Steam asap, just to support the devs for giving me such a good time. We need more games like this.    … Expand

    Fine. As a matter of fact, the mechanics of the game are getting close to perfection, especially in the last 4 chapters. The conversations between the characters are also quite sincere.
    I think it deserves $30. You should definitely try it, especially if you have XBOX Game Pass.

Customisation in this game is very awesome as it takes inspiration directly from the original marvel comics. The gameplay is unique and makes you have more options in the game. The guardians all feel special to play with and none are too strong or useless. Storyline andmy goty for 2021.     I fell in love with this one, it gets the good things about the movies and makes it even better, they decided just to take the superficial aspect of the movies and make a way different story and characters. The only "bad thing" that i can tell about this game its maybe the final hour and that the combat system makes the action slow.

    I love the Guardians of the Galaxy in the comics and in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That's why I couldn't help but buy that game. This game has many advantages: storyline, humour, characters, graphic component. But I not very much like fighting, because it can be so boring.

    Story's great, the soundtrack is amazing, the banter is real funny and it really nails the camaraderie. And it respects itself, it doesn't force itself to have a lot of combat like other games do for fear of the player getting bored. (Also, I just finished it after    It's a real nice ride.

    Graphics is insanely good! Feels like watching a Guardians of the Galaxy movie, every battle feels epic. The down side is that the combat lacks depth, feels repetitive after the first 8 hours.

    Game was pretty solid. Great characters, good story, fun interactions between the cast. However, combat could get quite difficult even on easy mode, the flight mechanism was completely unnecessary - should have been cutscenes (with dialogue choices if needed) instead, and Rocket was insufferable for the first half of the game (he does get better). It´s incredible well written story really fits the template of the comics, including characters, atmosphere and humor - all served without any microtransactions! Игра не прям шедевр, но фанатам стражей галактики и комиксам марвел рекомендую однозначно.Недурная игрушка.     I would start off by saying that this game had very minor issues that did impact the experience but not by much. There were some issues with the response of the control and stuttering in certain scenes that might result in some very stupid and unfair deaths. The game's optimization is also a bit lacking and some songs kept bugging out and kept repeating on loop. The VA is top notch and the writing is pretty dope. The humor is pretty much the best part of the game and the interactions between the characters is just hilarious and I could listen to them ramble all day. The Gameplay was fine but very lacking, the enemy and friendly AI wasn't really good and that made the gameplay pretty lackluster and very easy even by the end boss. The story is about coping with loss and moving forward and it was told in a really well manner. Music selection was also pretty great. Overall I can suggest buying this at full price since it is worth it.… Expand

    Guardians of Galaxy makes you laugh out loud, and that’s a rare feat. The story and production are so good that they offset its flawed gameplay, especially combat.

    Peter’s flashbacks deserve a special mention. Eidos Montreal went all-out on them, so instead of a cutscene, we get to explore a lovingly detailed place from Star-Lord’s past. [Issue#257, p.48]

    Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy on PC performs very well. It is the best version on a purely aesthetic level. The work done by Eidos to recreate the galaxy, the planets and its protagonists is incredible.
