    The PC port is absolutely horrible and nigh unplayable. You immediately notice that this game was made for consoles with how insufferable the camera movement is. It starts slow and accelerates like the console joysticks move and sometimes it snaps and works like a mouse should and then randomly the movement become like moving through a viscous slime again. It starts slow and accelerates like the console joysticks move and sometimes it snaps and works like a mouse should and then randomly the movement become like moving through a viscous slime again. The graphics are amazing and the environmental design is good but interacting with characters is incredibly immersion-breaking. You have to stand at a very specific spot and if you're not then your character will walk around the NPC awkwardly and completely breaks immersion. Same thing with a lot of the crouching elements in the environment and squeezing through gaps. You also need to stand at a specific spot and if you don't get it right your character will just keep on walking into the wall even though the gap is a few centimeters beside him. It completely breaks immersion and since the unusable camera movements hinder you from looking where you want, the combat becomes insufferably bad since its based on gun-play which requires the aiming system to work as a basis for any fun at all. so the combat and game-play are a complete 2-3/10 but the undeniable quality in graphics makes it so that a lower score is impossible to give. Also I encountered some weapon bugs where the characters had floating weapons, sometimes sticking through their body. Also quite immersion breaking. And don't make me mention the lighting glitches and hacky audio in some areas, I thought it was my drivers first but I updated them and the same problem has never happened to me in any other game. I do not understand at all how some people can give this game a 10 out of 10 as a serious review. A 10 out of 10 would mean that this game for them is a top 3 of all time which I can respect if they actually think that and if its their honest opinion but it feels like they throw out a 10 without thinking about it much at all. Also the story was hot garbage stinkier than lady hellbenders fart and I hated some of the central characters like Gomorrah, Ko-rel, Nikki, lady hellbender, fing fang foom and Adam warlock. That **** cliché trope where lady hellbender tames fing fang foom in 2 seconds by stretching out her hand that has been so overused in modern cinema made me want to drop the game right there and then. Also fing fang foom didnt have the purple pants. WHERE ARE MY PURPLE PANTS. In my obviously superior opinion to these 10/10ers, the story is one of the most laziest written pieces of game story I have witnessed since speaking for 10 hours to an Oblivion NPC. Ok maybe not that bad but the story was a solid 6/10 but the taming thing among others. brought it down to a 4/10. If the avengers game is cursed tier then this game is at most E tier.… Expand

    Repetitive gameplay and gun are way too weak to enjoy.
    The game should be shorter and no need to make it long with unreadable stuff.

    - интерфейс радужный, из-за чего он перегружен различными циферками, выпадающими предметами, порой не понятно, что вообще на экране происходит,
    - плохая производительность, анимация, много багов, есть критические баги, из-за которых приходилось перезапускать миссию.
    - нет химии между персонажами, нет ни секунды покоя, очень много воды, глупый юмор, диалоги неинтересные.

    Из игры явно была вырезана часть с монетизацией, так как провалились Мстители. На это указывает то, что в игре огромное количество ресурсов, но потратить их можно только на улучшение оружия. Причём, я не старался залезать в каждый уголок, но при этом прокачал весь арсенал и запчасти ещё остались.    … Expand

    Saves for users with cyrillic names don't work. 2 weeks after release and still no patch. Doesn't Square Enix don't have any QA-engineer r to find this minor issue and any programmer to fix it? Really?

    The sound constantly stutters, although the game itself runs fine. It is impossible to play with such sound. Tried all the settings, the problem remains.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. An absolute mess of a game. Everything is tedious. It's full of horrible plot holes, that make it seem as though they just slapped it together and said, good enough. The fighting consists of shooting and dodging. They try very hard to make you think your teammates are necessary, but you rarely actually need them to defeat enemies. The constant bickering chatter from your mates becomes annoying as hell after about 30 minutes. The way in which you interact with those conversations is so tedious that I found myself ignoring them more often than not. An example of the plot hole mess is, when you are going to sell Rocket or Groot to the monster buyer. On the way, you come across several monsters that you kill instead of selling them to her, in place of pretending your friend is a monster to fool her. There is even a monster that you find in a cage. Instead of taking it to her, Groot sets it free and you have to kill it. Once inside her fortress, Rocket suggests pulling off a heist when you come across her vault. Everyone shoots him down, as though it is a bad idea; yet that is exactly what you are doing. You are selling your friend to her, only to break in and steal him back later. Essentially pulling of a heist. This game has no soul. It is a rushed, irritating experience. If you are looking for a good Marvel game, I would suggest you play the Avengers instead. At least the fighting and main story are well fleshed out in that game. Also, why do I have to tell Gamora to cut down vines every time they are blocking our entrance? Shouldn't she know to cut them down? Like I said, this game is tedious.… Expand

You can only play as star lord, and his little pea shooters get old real fast. you do almost no damage. you are there only to create opportunities for your teammates to use their cooldown abilities. Watch some actual gameplay (not trailers) before you buy. It might appeal to some, but I got bored with it very fast. Seems more like an interactive graphic novel, ratherAbsolute snoozefest.     The writing and wit and graphics are good. Gameplay good. But I can't get passed how they are able to be in space without a space suite and how there is no gravity in space with this game.

    The Games all walking and story and it's another modern Mary Sue fem festival where all the wahmen are badarses , super smart and all powerful and the men are all meat heads and jokers.
    Another modern game thats padded out with mindless walking around looking at stuff. This is a game from ponies that love hours of story mixed with hours of walking, then a few minutes of game play...Combat    The Games all walking and story and it's another modern Mary Sue fem festival where all the wahmen are badarses , super smart and all powerful and the men are all meat heads and jokers.

This is a game from ponies that love hours of story mixed with hours of walking, then a few minutes of game play...Combat was fun for a short period, but quickly becomes repetative with all the usual cookie cutter loot and leveling systems you see everywhere. It's just generic and below par.
    I've heard a lot of people liked the dialogue, but there were people that liked Death stranding dialogue..Both games were cringe and safe..Play the og San Andreas or Dragon age , those games had good dialogue. It just generic, sterilised padded, made yo impress reviewer that play 5 has, just like shadow of the tombraider.    … Expand

    Game play is actually really quite fun! The reason for my low rating is the inexcusable bug that prevents my Xbox Core Wireless Controller from working in wireless Bluetooth mode. When connected via a USB-C cable it functions perfectly. I didn't pay $54+ dollars for a genuine Microsoft wireless controller to have it only work in wired mode! This is on the developers.     Guardians of Galaxy makes you laugh out loud, and that’s a rare feat. The story and production are so good that they offset its flawed gameplay, especially combat.

    Peter’s flashbacks deserve a special mention. Eidos Montreal went all-out on them, so instead of a cutscene, we get to explore a lovingly detailed place from Star-Lord’s past. [Issue#257, p.48]

    Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy on PC performs very well. It is the best version on a purely aesthetic level. The work done by Eidos to recreate the galaxy, the planets and its protagonists is incredible.
