Very annoying title, the combat is plain and repetitive and the history and characters are inconsequential. Also, the lack of mouth movement during scenes ruins the immersion.

Best game I have played in a long time. The story is so good, and the progress of the battle so detailed that it makes you wonder if you are playing a game based on books, or a movie. Combat is strategic with various options and builds for each character. Graphics are fantastic. Music is good, but appears to have been used in other games. Combat animations are very satisfying. With a new game+ it has lots of replay value which allows you to play stronger and get more rapport with the characters.

    I only experienced two issues.
    1) If you have the graphics up high, the UI can be sluggish. I never experienced sluggish combat, just in the UI.
    2) Game did not allow high resolution through my DVI cable, I had to switch to HDMI to increase the resolution.

Unoriginal disaster. Battles are all nearly identical: bash gates and 2 shot all human enemies with nearly identical white male allies. Woo, what fun.

Then out of combat, you have to do an hour of tedious fetch quests and listening to everyone babble on about nothing if you want to unlock extra characters and get stuff.

The game is very long, the plot at the end is not interesting, the gameplay itself is also monotonous and boring, in the final battle I constantly got softlocks and the main boss is too pumped even on the minimum difficulty. I advise you to play if you are a fan of this genre

This is a very interesting and well presented title. The tactical turn-based battles are great as is the dialogue and voice overs. Sound is decent as well. The character models are very well done and each character looks amazing. There are storyboard like cutscenes which do a good job of presenting parts of the story and the in engine cutscenes while a bit stiff are still well done. There is a fair amount of plot which follows through each battle which is nice to see in a game like this. The only issue is when you see women in full plate armour beating up male soldiers on the battlefield. This really breaks the immersion and borders on ridiculous in a medieval setting. Luckily its not all the time. All in all, this is a pretty cool title with good production values. Expand

Like a gritty fire emblem with good graphics and better magic class management. The grimoire feature is awesome and allows magic classes to choose their spell loadout. Great voice acting. Story is surprisingly good. Gameplay is like three houses without the classes or university setting.

Considering its price, the game is very solid! Game contains high production value. While cutscenes and some of the animations can feel stiff - especially facial expressions - I thoroughly enjoyed the story of the game, and liked the battle. Especially if you are FE Three Houses player, highly likely you will love it!

As a fan of FE3H, must say it delivers the same depth of strategy and story. It is a bit more bloody but make sense because it looks to be more realistic. May not be the most cinematically impressive but it's different from all the pixelated tactics games that's hit the market and it still hits all the feels with great dialogue and VO.

For an indie game it's pretty awesome. It's bit slow in the beginning but the story is really interesting with great characters. The tactics required for the game makes it really interesting. I've seen some people complaining about the turn limit but even someone like myself with very little experience in turn based RPG game didn't run into any issues

Despite its shortcomings, I ended up liking Lost Eidolons. It’s an indie title that aspires to be a big budget epic, whose worst qualities are more than compensated for by a strong story and inventive — sometimes brilliant — gameplay mechanics. As the old saying goes: don’t judge a game by its characters’ lifeless, blank stares.

Lost Eidolons provides an unexpectedly interesting storyline, which remains engrossing until the end. Some wrinkles appear in both the audio and visual presentation, but these does not deter much from the core of the experience, which is none other than the gameplay.

Lost Eidolons shows a lot of promise, especially as a debut title. Its combat ensures that tactical aficionados will get plenty of enjoyment from both the challenge and depth available to them, while Ocean Drive Studio has also ensured that there’s enough to get the more casual fans on board as well. While the game’s story ends up fizzling out a bit, there’s plenty to look forward to should the studio elect to return to Artemesia in future.
