    "Life is Strange " shows a combination not yet seen, however that becomes very good for the player. Its dubbing, graphics, history and gameplay are considerable, apart from the impact that the game demonstrates. Unexpectedly good.

    Un juego muy recomendado para cualquier tipo de persona y jugador, es un juego de historia con minijuegos al estilo telltale, pero aun así encuentra su sitio dentro de la formula la cual ya esta muy utilizada.

    Great experience with a great story.
    Very emotionally and engaging story(Especially episode 2 in my case), Excellent Voice acting, and relatable characters. This game made me play "Before the storm" and "Life is Strange 2".

    Bon ça fait un moment que le jeu trainait dans ma ludothèque et je rechignais à me lancer... c'est chose faite, et je ne regrette pas !

    Pour la faire courte, ce jeu n'est pas pour vous si tout rythme un peu contemplatif vous gonfle. Si vous pouvez passer outre, alors vous devriez donner une chance à Life is Strange.     Beaucoup d'avis ont déjà été laissé sur le jeu, je ne vais donc pas m'étendre outre mesure. Bien que Life is Strange soit plaisant et entraînant, il n'est pas pour autant exempt de tout reproche. J'en vois deux, principalement :

    - Un gameplay maigre et plutôt faiblard. Certes, c'est rarement un point fort dans ce genre de jeu, mais ce n'est pas une raison pour s'en contenter. En gros, vous allez spammer toutes les indications à l'écran sur chaque "tableau" et rembobiner le temps deux/trois, bien obligé par le scénario ou pour résoudre quelques énigmes pas bien méchantes.

    - Un scénario qui s'effiloche au fil des épisodes. Quel dommage ! Mais pas si étonnant, quand la thématique tourne autour des modifications temporelles... il y a forcément un moment où ça part en cacahuète. Ca commence par le syndrome des personnages stupides, qui apparait à l'épisode 4. Seul moyen pour les scénaristes de faire tenir l'édifice jusqu'au dénouement. Dans le genre roue libre, l'épisode 5 se pose en exemple. Il y a de bons moments, bien sûr, mais globalement c'est le freestyle complet et on perçoit presque la panique de l'équipe d'écriture qui cherche à boucler son histoire.

    Hormis ces deux éléments qui peuvent vous échauder, je vous conseille encore une fois de tenter l'aventure. Life is Strange me parait être moins rejouable que d'autres jeux du genre, mais c'est à vous de vous faire une opinion à ce sujet. En ce qui me concerne, je parcours ces jeux une fois et ça me convient !    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Отличная игра с хорошим сюжетом и своими фишками. Персонажи почти все шикарны (в особенности Марк Джефферсон). От некоторых эпизодов просто сносит голову, в прямом смысле. Конец 4-го и вроде конец 2-го или 3-го эпизода просто делает такую вещь, от которой просто оху******. В игре есть выборы и это очень радует (конечно, они все пойдут в мусорку в конце, ну да ладна). Музыка годнота, особенно в меню после каждого эпизода. Конечно как по мне, немного графон мультышный, еслиб эта игра была по графике как ремастер RE2, то это был бы еще один шедевр (я не графодрочер, просто мне лично совсем немнго режет глаз эта графика).… Expand

    Was going to delete at first. Dialogue animations really reminded of DXHR. Can't believe that is has released 5 years ago, feels like only yesterday I saw endless YT letsplays. And they still make porn with it :(

    Все еще остается лучшей игрой DONTNOD в жанре игрового кино, на мой взгляд.
    Фишка с перемоткой времени очень интересна, да и история крайне занимательна с элементами детектива. Жаль что наши выборы в лучших традициях telltale ни на что не влияют, но все же сама история и атмосфера игры влюбляют с первых минут.    Все еще остается лучшей игрой DONTNOD в жанре игрового кино, на мой взгляд.

    Хорошое кинцо. Понравится любому зумерку. Оригинальная механика с возвращением во времени. До 10 не хватило хорошей концовки и графики получше

    . Several plots twists. Which challenges the player to make an effort in finding evidence during gameplay.
    . Introduces philosophical themes into the game in a fluid way. In addition to encouraging discussion of these same issues by players in real life.

    . Graphics. It is a 2015 game better graphics were expected.
    . Some plot holes. Example: at a certain moment the villain and you are at a party, you leave the party towards the junkyard at full speed, while the villain is enjoying the party.

    Jest to naprawdę bardzo dobra gra, cała otoczka jest fenomenalna, historia jest bardzo wciągająca. Jestem troszkę zawiedziony, tym jak skończyła się gra, ale wiem, że grało mi się w nią naprawdę dobrze

    historia cativou por mais que n seja tão interessante, os gráficos e o qualidade técnica da gemeplay deixam muito a desejar, o ultimo episodio é o único que realmente prende uma boa narrativa, o inicio do game é muito chato

    Good and refreshing game. It has it's ups and downs, but generally keeps up a good flow of story, gameplay, character development, drama and mystery. This, combined with real world issues (suicide/self harm, depression, anxiety, corruption, abuse etc.) makes for quite an experience.

    Starting this game, I had no idea what it was, but now I am happy that I finished it.

    A saga with incredible potential, a very well defined and even dramatic and exciting story, great representation with LGBTQIA+ characters, and very well optimized, something that many other games cannot do is maintain fidelity between platforms, but the same Life Is Strange that plays on the PC is also incredibly good on the Iphone.

It's important to note that (at least in episode 1) there isn't actually much gameplay (there were in total 3 or 4 puzzles to solve.)     A game where save-scumming is built right into the mechanics. It has a great atmosphere, solid voice acting, a good visual style, and good sound design. Its about 25 hours long if you interact with everything. Gameplay is rather minimal, as expected from an interactive story type of game, but the rewind feature helps make things more interesting.

    There were some inconsistencies to the rewind feature though, and it is not always available when you want it. The story and player choices are reasonably well implemented, but there are the usual limitations - choices are limited, and they arguably don't make that much of a difference. The game runs stable, but there were some minor bugs with not being able to activate some objects. Lip-sync is bad. The game also has fairly severe consolitis - an unpleasantly low FOV, bad mouse acceleration, and sensitivity settings that sometimes reset when the game is loaded. The checkpoint save system can be a bit annoying at times. These are all only minor issues - the game was still very enjoyable.

    Overall, this is a good interactive-story game that I can easily recommend.    … Expand

Personally I enjoy a game with a strong narrative as much one that’s all about mindless shooting; there’s room for all manner of games as far as I’m concerned. Dontnod deserve credit for their efforts in this area. In LIFE IS STRANGE they have attempted to create a story-rich experience that requires the player to engage with the narrative and to make moral and ethical judgments and then act upon them. The developers have made much of the fact that the player must make choices, some of which may be difficult to make. So far so good. However, although LIS does have an engaging story, and there are indeed choices to be made, neither aspect of the game quite lives up to the promise. In their (laudable) efforts to cover as many themes as possible (drugs, bullying, domestic violence, et al.) they’ve bitten of more than they can chew and as a result the main story line suffers. The first couple of episodes are somewhat slow and uninvolving due to a lack of focus. Also, during the early stages of the game, many of the tasks required of the player are trivial, and some are pointless, having little or no bearing on the overall story (in fairness to the developers they do acknowledge this fact in ironic fashion towards the end of the game). Not until you reach the midpoint of the game does it really find its stride, and the main story begin to assert itself in the manner required to carry the game forward. There is also the matter of the choices to consider. I won’t explain my misgivings with this aspect of the game because it could be considered a spoiler of sorts. Suffice it to say, if you decide to play LIS (and I recommend that you do) you will probably work out for yourself where the game falls short in this area. Again, in fairness to Dontnod, I can see how the current constraints of the medium might have limited their options, but I still think that this aspect of the game could have been more fully developed. Having said all this I still enjoyed playing LIS and you would have to have a heart of stone not to be affected by it at times. It looks good, and the painterly style of the graphics suits the game well. The voice acting is solid throughout and it has an excellent soundtrack, including a memorably melancholic opening song (To All of You by Syd Matters). LIS may not quite live up to its potential but it’s still a good attempt to make a narrative-rich gaming experience and I would have given it a 4/5 rating were it not for the shortcomings noted here. Oh, and how about a sequel, Dontnod? It would be interesting to see how Max uses her gift in her adult years.    … Expand

    If you enjoy the visual novel genre of game Life is Strange is one you need to play, while it's not the best it's definitely up there and worth your time. It had quite a strong emotional effect on me whilst I was playing it, it makes you think about your own life and what you wish you could "rewind" and do over again.

    I would rank the episodes as follows: 2 > 3 > 4 > 5 > 1

    way more choices compare to telltale games and more repayable than the other "movie games" so far. but...i didnt like the story... if this game had a darker story i think my score will be 10/10

    Life Is Strange is an imperfect video game and the actual mechanics of playing it, including the time rewind, can become annoying of frustrating, especially when the development team tries to borrow from another genre. But the game makes it easy to create a connection with Max and to care about her choices and trials, a rare feat, and that means any fan of narrative-driven experiences should try it out to see how he deals with the feelings of the protagonist and the impact they have on Arcadia Bay.
