Jan 25, 2019Life is Strange 2: Episode 2 is easily one of the best episodes in the franchise, a beautiful continuation of the story and an improvement on the first episode in almost every way.
-
Feb 3, 2019Savage, uncompromising road poetry. Every word spoken, every line of text written, every character portrayed, all painfully real. Kerouac would have been proud.
-
Feb 6, 2019Technically superior to the previous episode, and a strong second entry to the Diaz boys’ saga.
-
Feb 4, 2019I wasn’t sure about episode one, but Rules for me has solidified Life is Strange 2 as an independent gaming body, and one, that so far, I think I might end up preferring to the first. Though, just as a side note, DONTNOD should go back to selling episodes individually as well, considering the games ongoing episodic format.
-
Jan 22, 2019his care and attention to detail extends to the environments, which feel genuine and lived-in.
-
Jan 22, 2019With this new episode, DONTNOD manage to blur the lines of the script, immersing the player into a deeper and more interesting story for the Diaz brothers. Characters are better written, music is great and we can't wait to see what's coming next.
-
Feb 4, 2019A slump in a promising series, Episode 2 still contains emotional highs and thoughtful choices.
-
Jan 24, 2019This second episode is a step in the right direction. Some decisions are implemented really well, while some others are absolutely pointless and force you out of the path you chose to follow through the whole episode. Together with the lack of puzzles or superpower-based mechanics, this second season relies mostly on the story (and a really good one) to reach the player.
-
Jan 22, 2019The second episode of Life is Strange 2 slows down a little bit. There is more focus on the characters, and finally the appearance of Captain Spirit.
-
Jan 22, 2019Rules is a good way to continue the story of Life is Strange 2. This chapter that makes us make some tough decisions regarding the situation can be depressing, soothing, shocking, moving and we are really looking forward to know where Sean and Daniel are taken next time.
-
Jan 22, 2019Rules maintains the series' dual coming-of-age narrative, but often undermines its central pillar of choice.
-
Mar 18, 2019Life Is Strange 2: Episode 2 is a disappointment. While it contains a number of revelatory moments and a couple of scenes that pack real tension, thanks to its lousy pacing and absence of agency, only the most committed fans of this series are advised to pick it up. Here’s hoping Episode 3 picks up the pace.

Jan 24, 2019Episode 2 may not be an attention-arresting adventure like the first episode was, but it takes risks in slowing down its pace and throwing more plot intrigue into the mix. I'm still invested in Sean and Daniel's journey, especially now that Daniel's supernatural powers are more of a focus. Even if Episode 2 isn't as endearing and exciting as Episode 1, it still has me looking forward to whatever the Diaz brothers get into next.

Feb 24, 2019Weak story and oppression of minorities. Just as in episode 1. I do not understand who might like it.
