    This game is very conflicting for me, I enjoyed it for what it was, but at the same time it feels like there is something missing, and I can't figure out what it is, it's a shame we are likely not getting a DLC for clone wars, the post story gameplay is very boring after a bit and it gives off the "wide as an ocean depth of a puddle" vibe. Pacing is weird and levels are short. and for those who wanted to enjoy the prequels with clone wars VAs it's kinda rushed due to the fast pacing.… Expand

    I completed more than 8 lego games. It was a pity for me to spend even 2 hours of my life on this

    There are 7 inscriptions on the screen, a bunch of mechanics are mixed in, a bunch of crazy mess, it feels like I'm playing some kind of Chinese game.
    Here the split screen mode is not dynamic, it is divided in half, like 20 years ago). There is no scale of coins that you must collect per level. Characters are bought not in the store, but in the menu. Cutscenes in which the figures talk, why, it spoils the atmosphere of these funny sketches.
    I'm not against experiments, I don't like most Lego games because its "conveyor", but here it is - this is a terrible rape of the legendary classic game for the money, it seems to me that it was not about creativity, but simply the publisher forced "ADD A LOT OF NEW AND MAKE IT LOOK AT 60 bucks."
    I am against innovations purely for the sake of innovations, here from the first seconds, from the design of the menu, it is clear that this is an absolutely tasteless game from creative impotents.
    The only reason this game can succeed - its nastolgia, some levels look nice, atmospheric, and it seems that all the levels here have been reworked, this is not a remake. But also some story levels take place in some kind of semi-open world, like accompany the person from point A to point B, this is some kind of Assassin's Creed, this is no longer a scripted well-developed corridor levels.
    They did show some creativity on one thing, these are fights, added combos, life bars, more tricks, there’s nothing to complain about here, but I just can’t play it, I’m sick of this, this game with all its multi-layered mechanics is played more boringly then the simplest, the most childish, some kind of "Lego movie" game.
    I don’t know why to play it, it’s better to replay the original Star Wars, globally there’s only episodes 7 and 9 are new, and even in the form of films they are boring, 8ep good, but it’s expensive topay 60$ for 1 new episode, where lego game based on the films "Rogue-one"? "Han Solo"? "Mandalorian"? Well, yes, it’s only a dream to demand such a thing..
    There is also "cyberpunk level" optimization at the start, episode 7 started on gtx 1650 at the lowest settings - 15fps, purely commercial wrapper.

    I don’t even want to complete whole game for a full review, because I don’t want to replace my childhood memories of original Lego SW with this shi..

    I am going to be very honest, this game has some high points, as well as some low points. The story is understandable enough for a kid can understand, which makes sense this is a kids game after all, the combat is an improvement from previous lego entries, the amount of playable characters is astonishing, the collectable is crazy a lot, the voice acting isn't as bad as some people make outI am going to be very honest, this game has some high points, as well as some low points. I have put in almost 82 hours into this game only to be disappointed with the mount of bugs that came in at launch. the amount of crashing, the frame drops in certain level, some levels are bugged themselves that can cause a softlock. It is at the point that it is very difficult to achieve my goal, which is to complete the entire game, however until a patch comes out and solves these issues, I will admit the game will get a better rating, however the fact the game has issues at launch just makes it disappointing. Overall it is still a fun game to play, especially along with someone else for a co-op experience. I will still recommend this game out. Just maybe wait until an official patch comes out.… Expand

It pretends to be an action game, yet you can not fail at playing it.     lego star wars is proof that you dont need overly complicated gameplay or world building to make a game fun. It is basically a lego version of every single star wars mainline movie from 1-9, and it has mant tasteful details and little quirks that makes it feel quite different from other video games. The lack of proper boss fights is something to be addressed as it tends to do this annoying thing where you play a mini game while still fighting the boss to beat it? rather annoying to see this, even if its directed at kids. But otherwise, character models are well polished and defined, combat is simple yet flashy. They even have little side quests that are basically fetch quests, but nothing really special about this game gameplay wise, it is just a really faithful re-representation of the mainline star wars movie that can be taken light heartedly. It still has the usual lego game nonsense but i can still stomach it and enjoy the game.… Expand

There is so much content in this game for $50 it's incredible, especially how much of it is actually well done. Unfortunately, the score is lowered by some levels still containing game-breaking issues, with no sign of anWhile it may not be the Lego Star Wars nostalgia trip I was hoping for, this game does plenty to make it an enjoyable stand-alone experience for both new and old players.     If you are a Star Wars fan and are interested in a quick and fun recap of all 3 trilogies, then this is a nice way to go about it. It has a massive library of a lot of Star Wars characters, all of whom are playable of course. For a LEGO game, it has a lot of content and although that is great, it also is a fault in a way. The content eventually get's stale and even takes away from one ofIf you are a Star Wars fan and are interested in a quick and fun recap of all 3 trilogies, then this is a nice way to go about it.     After playing the Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga for several hours, we concluded that this is undoubtedly the best Lego Star Wars video game so far. Some might argue that this is the leading title of the entire Lego series. First, you should expect a very long game that can take up to 90 hours to finish. The best part is that these hours will not be filled with repetitive tasks and boring missions. There are excellent action-packed scenes that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

    Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a humorous, well-directed game that made the massive Star Wars series light and enjoyable. It's a pretty good title for those new to Star Wars.
