Game base mostly on champions you choose, barely any real skills involved. You get autofilled half of the time, force to play roles that you dont even care about. The list goes on. **** company.

    When the PC version will be on the old and disgusting engine, with a bunch of lags. And no, we will not transfer the game to PC to a new engine, it is difficult. Sit with a bunch of bugs, lags, but with a sense of justice if someone says something wrong on the chat or twitter. All the matches last at least 15 minutes but it is possible to extent to 50 minutes or more. And it is very stressful when you face a better enemy than you are, or have a newbie teammate.
    The launcher has a lot of technical problems like when the game crashes, or have a slow loanding screen. But with all this problems I still love the game. You have tons of content about the game on the internet, guides of how to play, vídeos to watch, cinematics and minigames. And this is for me the incredible part of this massive game.
    You can play with your friends or random teamates, you have a lot options to choose your style of how you will play the game or the skin of your Champion. It has a huge comunity and a lot of regular players. 4.5 / 5    … Expand

    The game is more quicker and very sharpened. You get everything or nothing. For "competetive" players it is something necessary. But not everybody are competetive robots.

    Gameplay is schematized and dull. No surprise. Only standard farming map with fights. Every game. Another "need" of competetive players. Very quickly you can get bored.

    After all, LOL is like fireworks. All colors , sounds mixed together - you get very easily exited. But in time, you can get bored. Not if you quickly skip to next firework/game.

    Yes, it is pay-to-play and pay-to-win. Paying people are clients not players. This is problem.

    Community is toxic. At this point is good to say, it is not only community error.
    The game itself keeps players under pressure. In case of competetive players it is (maybe) okay. But not for everybody. In games, especially competetive games, emotion comes and grows. A single mistake can have fatal aftermaths. And this is a problem of LOL.
    The game has a community that she raised herself.

    This game is not balanced to be "competetive". Especially if "balance" very often corresponds to sales trends. Competetive players are more like entertainers.    … Expand

    Played for years then get banned for getting flamed and asking "who is your favorite superhero and why is it spiderman?" also said "haven't played in a while and don't care about winning" didn't know silver was so intense its worth a ban for me to come back to ranked after 3 years lol. Not worth install, don't care about you when they are dying and banning for no reason.

    There is sutch a poison in the air. The players are almost all toxic. Plus the champion they give you is very strong while in the first levels, but then you how crappy he is. I think if riot could take that away, the game would be just perfect.

A mayor downpour is that the community is bad which is ofc bad for the game, but it is not even close to being as impactful as people say it is. And after all there is a mute button to remove the biggest problem for the game.

    Prepare to play a "Team" game where communication is non-existent and all you see is flame. Dont try to say anything to anyone or you get banned just because RIOT knows you will make a new account and buy skins over and over again. Also prepare to see the same 5 champs over and over again because all of the budget goes to their pockets instead of balancing the game. Stay away from it.

    Nice idea in general. However, they want you to suffer. You can't communicate well with your teammates just with chat and pings(without voice). Moreover, the game always matches u with 4 teammates who don't have a clue how the game is played. Not to mention how broken some champs are. Definitely wouldn't recommend if u want to live a sane, happy life without stress and time-wasting.

    If it was 2016 I would rate league like 4-6 but they've added a lot and I'm impressed how they keep it fresh everytime but yeah it's a competitive game and your teammates can ruin your fun at the game. The toxicity is insane and it's unapproachable by new players

    This is such a fun and creative game! The story is awesome and the graphics are lovely, the system of using Cappy to capture creatures was extremely well made. The characters are carismatic and absolutely well developed, and combining with such beautiful and vivid scenery makes this game one of my absolute favorites. Keep it up, Nintendo.

    I love this game with all my heart. I have played it for over 10 years now and has extreme sentimental value to me. Due to frequent updates the game stays fresh and the meta shifts around every now and then.

    This can also be seen as a problem, sometimes things change for the worse to make the game absolutely unplayable and unfun for a while.     Even though I have left a couple of times, I have always come back as it keeps sucking me in. Multiple gamemodes (even though RIOT has not brought many of their best ones back), ranked and normal play are always very easy to queue into.

    The biggest problem in this game is its community. It is extremely toxic and makes the game hard to get into without feeling like you are the worst player in the world. It shouldn't be normal to have to mute chat when you are learning a game. if you really want to get into this game, just turn chat off or play with friends so you can focus on eachother.

    Smurfing is a big problem as well I have heard in lower levels but can not confirm as I have not been there in years.

    I love this game, the gameplay is amazing and the amount of champions makes basically every game feel fun. The multiple roles means that you can basically play for an extreme amount of hours to master everything or simply 1 to master that one.    … Expand

    The main objective of Summoners Rift is to destroy the opposing team’s Nexus. However, the base is guarded by powerful stationary, stone turrets protected by constant waves of minions. As a Champion gains levels, their base stats increase, and they can improve one of their abilities, with the max level attainable being 18. There are over 200 unique items in LoL, but the maximum amount of items a Champion can hold is 6. When a Champion is killed, they have a revive timer, depending on if the game is in its early, mid, or late game stages.
    Communication can be the most enjoyable aspect of the game when playing LoL with friends, sitting in the same room with you, or chatting on a voice call. Warning your friend about an approaching enemy, playfully teasing them when they make an outrageous mistake that leads to their Champion’s death, or just bursting out in laughter at them landing a killing blow against the odds is what can make playing LoL a timeless experience. However, when playing with strangers online, that same teamplay aspect can make LoL a painful experience. Even though LoL doesn’t have a voice channel for casual play, there is still text chat. I have often made just one simple mistake, and suddenly my entire team is belittling me, calling me slurs, and demanding I uninstall the game. Opponents can also be quite toxic towards you and put you down and call you “trash” and the like.
    LoL’s gameplay can be very entertaining, especially once you get the hang of at least one Champion and start showing off your skills. However, LoL’s steep learning curve does hinder most beginners. It took me around 2 years to get my head around the mechanics within LoL, and my primary motivation was playing it so I could bond with my older brother more. Without an underlying reason to master the game, many players trip over its mechanics and end up being kicked by some toxic player and call it quits there. LoL excels when played with friends as they can act as a cushion against the struggles presented by the game in its complexity and the potential heckling of the other team. However, without the safety net of friends, the LoL community is just not a welcoming place that has often made me quit a match in disgust, or even though we might end a game with a victory, I’ll end up feeling less than myself.
    If one can get past the toxic community of League of Legends, the game itself is delightful to play. Each match doesn’t take excessive time, and proving to your opponents and teammates your successes within the game can be a thrilling experience. Learning a new role, class style, or Champion can be an exciting challenge. Experimenting with building different items on a Champion can be a journey of creativity and problem-solving. Working with strangers to complete the common goal of destroying the enemies’ Nexus can be a fulfilling endeavor that bleeds into working with others in your day-to-day life. I ultimately come back to LoL because I can bond over something familiar with my brother and friends. But even without them and facing the toxicity of my teammates and opponents, LoL is still a fun game to overcome complex challenges.    … Expand

This Game makes me want to jump through a ring of fire and eat eighty extra glazed donuts. I am so sad when i play. My heart spills out of my body every time I play. I wish I never played.     You just play and have fun, true fun. But when you start new game, and all these issues comes back, and you haven't getting fun anymore you wanna stop this for god sake.
    Another thing that developers almost every week make some change in balance, that comes in increasing and decreasing champions and items stats, some times changes is good some times it's can make your favorite champion just useless. All league players know such pains in ass who fall down so much that become just not a "good" choice to play at all.
    One more thing is community, is not growth enough, and i mean not only by the age in my point of view, too many rage, crying, and morons you meet, some times not. I know that in almost every online game, but still.

    So game is worth a 10 from 10 point, but the issues of the League keep me from that score.

    LOL can be entertaining. Biggest complaint from me is the inability to play any hero from the start. You need to pay for heroes or play a lot of games for points to unlock them. This will require a lot of time. There are also full skins that are obtained by paying. Learning curve is smaller than Dota 2, but feel that Dota 2 is more entertaining to play and to watch.

    This game is not bad, but it has a low metacritic average *for a game this popular* for a reason: because it's not that good. No, it isn;t because of graphics, yes there are a few broken champions (Not that many though. I don't overuse the word few. There are hardly any, but they are still there.), but this isn;t why the game is overrated. The combat in the game could be so much better, but it isn't. I'm not trying to sound biased, (not invoking a Dota vs League argument here, just using this as an example) but play Dota 2 for a while, learn how to play, and compare the 2's combat system. Ever notice how League's combat system is not as satisfying? Ever notice how League of Legends is based more around how good you are with a champion than actually being good at the game? This game is also not that hard, anyone who tells you that is lying. I have no difficulty in fighting 4v5s and winning or being ona feeding team and turning it around when the enemy team has the advantage. This game is incredibly easy once you learn the basics.

    The main reason why this game is not so great is because it tried to be an improved Dota (which it could have), but the changes they made thinking they were improvements are what makes this an overrated game that and the combat system is barely above average. However as you play matches you gain coins and can buy the characters with coins instead of RP. The graphics are cartoony because they have a lot on black lines around the models.     There are loads of negative and annoying factors in this game. Like being forced to last hit all minions or just go **** youself because you just lost. Only some characters being viable, while others are just absolutely useless. And way more.

    When you first start out, it becomes really addicting but this game involves a lot of grinding for IP (in-game currency). Took me a about month to get a certain amount of IP to get the champion I wanted. Grinding so much really took the fun out of playing it. But it is certainly a better experience with 4-5 friends. Also, too many OP Champions and a lot of balancing issues.

    And then comes the match ups, there are always top tier characters (to be fair like any game, but as it's a battle arena this makes for boring games). This just makes for the same gameplay over and over again, when you'd think that with over 100+ characters the word 'variety' would manage to show up.

    I tried to enjoy this and now I'm just left with a foul taste in my mouth, personally. However, to add some good points: I can enjoy this game at time when playing with a full party of friends. This however as my level increases, becomes rarer and rarer.

    Riot makes riot points less worth back in the day we had: 520rp 975rp and 1820rp skins now they make weird prices making few riot points left such 250rp 750rp 1350rp before we did not get 1350rp they lower the rp amount for a card.     Game play wise, the game is fun and it doesn't seem overly repetitive despite games been played on the same map. There is over 100 different champions to choose from, and the Free to Play model that Riot games uses ensures that there is no pay-to-win, a common hatred that binds the gaming community. The game has a terrible community, don't get me wrong, but that is the fault of the peopleGame play wise, the game is fun and it doesn't seem overly repetitive despite games been played on the same map.     I find that with League of Legends, Riot has cultivated one of the most unique spaces in gaming history—mostly for good reasons but also for some awful ones, and in the gaming museum of the future, League is sure to have its own wing.

    Improvements are constantly being updated and although team mates make or break many matches, there is genuine fun to be found.
