    If you ask a normal person what would be the rating for this game is, he would answer 0-5, if you ask a sweaty nerd, 10/10.
    Hypocrites, this game doesn't deserve the fame it has, it is utter garbage. Unbelivable people enjoy playing this thing.

    My review is not something new but it's good to say how bad this game is:
    -Unbalanced champions, obviously Riot doesn't know how to balance his game. -A very very VERY toxic community, its hard to make friends in this game. -Smurfs are EVERYWHERE, i mean, for the most part, you can't even enjoy    If you want to play this game, please, don't do it, AVOID THIS STUPID GAME AT ALL COST.
    My review is not something new but it's good to say how bad this game is:

    -A very very VERY toxic community, its hard to make friends in this game.
    -Smurfs are EVERYWHERE, i mean, for the most part, you can't even enjoy normal games because there's very good players that use secondary accounts so new players in the game aren't very welcome.
    -Trolls are very common in this game and they can screw up your game easily, and don't try to insult them because you'll end up penalized.
    -There's loot boxes in this game and they're so UNNECESSARY
    -Talking about penalized, if you decide to be "toxic" and you insult your teammates with bad words, they can report you and your account can be banned forever, it doesn't matter if you spent a thousand of dollars in this game, and yeah, there are better solutions like ban your chat or something like that, there's no reason to ban permanently an account just because you're toxic.
    -You can play other game modes: ARAM, TFT (Teamfight Tactics) and "seasonably game modes", but these are so bad. ARAM is a single line where the champions are random, so there's no strategy here, just luck. TFT is a terrible rip-off of Dota Underlords, so RNG is everything here. The aforementioned "seasonably game modes" are game modes (obviously) that are for a limited time, they can be fun at first, but then you'll feel these modes are just boring and repetitive, sometimes they're even unbalanced (One For All is an example, you and your teammates have the same champions)
    -Riot Games is, in my opinion, the worst developers ever, its a shame that there are people supporting these developers.

    The game is excessively heavy due to the graphic quality it has, both in reproduction and in loading. I've been playing for two weeks and the game has closed alone during a game 17 times, which caused my defeat in ranked matches. There are many unbalanced heroes, Yasuo, Sett and just about any other hero who benefits from life theft.     Riot is awful when it comes to balancing their characters and even worse at remembering that certain ones exist. One that comes to mind is shaco. He was nerfed consecutively because riot felt that his burst damage was too good, so they nerfed him, did a "minor" rework to damage scaling, nerfed him again, then both reworked and nerfed him at the same time. Meanwhile champions like talon,Riot is awful when it comes to balancing their characters and even worse at remembering that certain ones exist. One that comes to mind is shaco. Another problem is how they keep pumping out new champions yet many currently existing champions have not received new content whatsoever. Kindred has been out for quite some time and hasnt even recieved a new skin, while the recently reworked urgot got a new deluxe skin. So honestly even if it is a fun game i cannot say it is a good game, with all these issues i cannot say with a straight face that this game deserves more than a 1.… Expand

I've put countless hours and money into this game but in the end it will never be worth the community that comes with it.     More details from my (by now 7 years of) experience:
    1) Client is buggy as hell
    2) For new players it's completely overloaded. Almost 150 champs to learn, Riot still adding new ones, and new additions or reworks are designed so badly it's absolutely no fun playing against anymore. Save your time and spend it on something that's actually entertaining.
    3) Community is toxic and Riot doesn't care. They have a report system, but it's pretty much doing nothing. Expect people to intentionally feed, troll, be toxic as hell, Riot is fine with it all.
    4) It's probably pay 2 win by now. I haven't been spending any money on this game anymore for years. And I can feel the consequences. 5 Minute wait times in Silver / Gold Elo, only to get abysmal matches. When I compare the matchups I get with the ones others get that I know for sure still spend money on this game, there is a significant gap. Of course Riot won't admit it, but it's way too obvious to be statistically possible randomness. Add to that Riots history of implementing concepts that were already proven to be garbage in other games by other companies - even against community protest - and it's not that hard to imagine Riot using matchmaking algorithms that punish people that don't pay up.
    5) Even high ranked streamers and youtubers actually recommend to not start playing it anymore or to quit if you don't enjoy it, since they see the same problems
    6) The most obvious fact to prove my point of Riot not giving **** about the community and experience and only want to make as much money as possible: League is clearly dying. Revenue went down from 3 billion in 2016 to about half in 2019. Of course they won't ban or punish potential money spenders, no matter how bad they behave or are for the game. Of couse that would be an incentive to make bad matchmaking to push people to purchasing stuff. EA and Activision both proved the ideas are out there. They were just stupid and greedy enough to patent those ideas and make it public knowledge. However, nothing prevents Riot from implementing those mechanics in secret themselves - no one will ever know.

    So yes, do yourself a favor, don't start playing this game or if you are, just stop. It will save you a lot of wasted time spent better otherwise.    … Expand

Then his ult is an execution that does damage based on missing health. So you are dead. OH AND BTW RIOT REFUSES TO FIX HIS BUG where he can still move a tiny amount and auto attaack you while he is stunned rooted or airborne.

    Nautilus is a "support" He can throw a hook and catch you. He has a massive shield and long root with his auto attacks. I cannot stress enough how broken this man is when you are trying to safely lane. The guy waits in a bush and you can SEE HIM. But you have to get your last hits or you lose period so you try to avoid the guy however. He can casually walk up to you underneath you tower and root you while his ranged partner kils you. Then they both walk out alive and safe like it was nothing. OH AND BTW you deal 0 damage to him if he buys one item so yes he can safely attack you and not worry.

    Tryndamere. Dont even get me started on this guy. His ult makes it so that for 5-7 seconds he DOES NOT DIE. So basically you are fighting a guy who has a passive crit, can go through walls, and slow you down while reducing your damage. You will be 4 shotted by him and if you build damage he will just use his ultimate and tower dive you safely and kill you then dash out with his abilities through the wall safely.

    If you have made it this far then you should realize that riot DOES NOT CARE about balance. There are over 150 champions in the game now and you can only ban ONE. So basically no matter what you do there will ALWAYS be a match up with broken champions that should not exist.

    Also, just a side note. I got perma banned TWICE for defending myself against trolls. People who literally swear at me and then let my laner kill them for free are the people you are going to deal with and you cant do a thing about it because if you so much as say HEY CAN YOU STOP you will be reported and banned. OH AND BTW. The justice system is based on how well you perform so if the troll wants he can leave you for dead. You can go 0/5/0 and then thats a reportable offense by your team troll and you WILL BE BANNED. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.    … Expand

    Pros: - The game was worth a 10 star rating some seasons ago. - Kinda great when ahead. Cons: - Too much damage. - Balance and meta forced by Riot. (Buffs to champs often happen right before a new skin release!) - CertainlyT made champs - Toxic community (intentional feeding, flame for no reason) -    So i played this game for a good while.     - Smurfs ruining ranked.
    - Dragon Soul makes comebacks way too hard.

    Tbh i guess i just played my last game of league... it just lost the quality it had. And today everything seems to oneshot you despite missing half their abilities. Getting oneshot in a second makes no sense considering the human reaction time and the duration of CC in the game.    … Expand

    This game isn't very good. The community is toxic and the first match I played someone told me to uninstall (I probably should do that) and not to mention that it took 30 minutes! It was just so meh that I only played one match before getting bored and apparently its unbalanced (I wasn't invested enough to know that).     Although there's is some pay-to-win factor in the game, it's still a great game. Properly balanced, great gameplay. People paying will reach max level sooner. Although that's not too bad a feature, they need to pay their bills as well.

    Everything about this game is fine. The mechanic, the balace, champions are unique in their ways. But LOL has the most toxic community. Since Riot just want to grab the most players, they let those toxic players grow. i've played this game every day for 6 years and i can tell how **** it is.

    Por que es un juego con un factor social muy fuerte. Y la comunidad de este juego es la más tóxica que he visto nunca. Aparentemente la desarrolladora, Riot Games, está más preocupada por encontrar nuevas formas de monetizar el juego (primero skins, luego wards, iconos chromas, emoticonos, ahora mascotas...) que de crear una comunidad sana.

    He jugado juegos en los que si faltas al respeto a alguien, te expulsan en el acto de la partida.

    Played this for a decade I am in fact bias with this one folks. I can admit though, that the game absolutely has its discrepancies... Like patch notes constantly changing champs. That part is trash. stop changing champ kits so frequently. sick of having to relearn champs.

    It is hard to find a massive (in terms of number players) and fun game where skill matters the most. In LoL I find that I get just rewards as I learn and become more skilled at the game, regardless if I spend money in it or not. And of course, a good experience invites me to spend money in it, as there are nice cosmetic rewards. В игре 140+ героев, играть можно дай бог на 30, ведь остальные 100+ - это унылое занерфленное говнище, на котором играть интересно, но победить невозможно.Задумка была хороша, даже когда-то был баланс, но умственно-отсталые Riot Games начиная с 2015 года делают всё хуже и хуже. Им похуй на баланс, им похуй на всё. У этих обезьян в голове лишь одно - деньги. На игроков им похуй. На лоу эло играют долбоёбы, которые мышью двигать не умеют, на среднем эло - чсв дауны, которые считают себя богами этой игры, на хай эло играют очень часто смурфы и игра выглядит не как 10 на 10, а как пвп смурфов, у кого смурфов больше, тот и победил. И отдельные слова про эло Мастер+, в этой помойке настолько часто автофилит не на твою роль, что ты постоянно играешь не в удовольствие. От тебя мало чего зависит, ведь начиная с 9 сезона они настолько сильно загубили баланс, что ты в соло не выиграешь, зато в соло заруинить игру - проще простого. Победитель определяется методом "монетки", суть в том, что рандомайзер делает коинфлип и определяет какая команда победить ещё до выбора героев. Так что смысла играть в эту фекальную массу - 0. Вся игра строится на рандоме. Стаж игры более 7 лет, уже сам забросил эту игру, из-за наплевательства разработчиков.… Expand

    Тот , кто придумал Афелия должен умереть от рака и гореть в аду . На 2 уровне урон больше тысячи , в связке с сапами просто имба , нерфить его никто не собирается . Вместо этого вводят ещё 1 имбового перса . Баланса 0 . Скатилась и стала хуже доты , лучше 2 часа биться головой об стену , чем играть в это .Тот , кто придумал Афелия должен умереть от рака и гореть в аду .     Superusers paradise. If you have no lag, and fast internet, then youre instant diamond. It takes little skill to play support or tank with decent ping and you can get streaming before you can wipe your own ass with some of these things. Internet infrastructure is so crap yet companies continue making games like this.

    The support staff are useless and barely do any supporting. They are just there to stop the community from speaking to anymore that is able to do anything. I have had the support staff lie to me and yet when I have tried to make a complaint there no one to speak to but the support staff.

    Riot Games only cares about money and there esport yet expect the main community to put up with how disrespectful and ungrateful Riot are.

    The game is never balance because Riot always adding over powered champ and dont look at how the person vs the broken champ experience is, and if they do fix the odd champ it takes week if not months to do so.

    The matchmaking is awful as it goes by a MMR system were player with similar score get matched with you. This is awful as it doesn't bring in that the player been carried and that there team wins it for them.

    League was a great Game 6 Years ago, but today the Game gets only worse from patch to patch.

    The Balancing is awful

    The engine feels extremely laggy, they should code the whole game new.

    The community is extremely toxic.

    The Game is extremely addictiv and that's not good, u will spend money on the Game and u will be frustrated afterwards so pls dont try it out, it's not worth it.

    I used to play League of Legends about 5 years ago, and had played from season 2 until that point. Unfortunately I broke my PC and hit a rough patch so could not afford to replace or repair it. Recently I got to a point in which I could once again could afford a new laptop. So just last week I decided to download the game and try to play again- only to find that someone had gotten access to my account, used it, and got it permanently banned. I was livid and reach out to support to try and rectify the situation, to which they stated that they could do nothing to lift a ban. So our accounts can get hacked and used by other people, and then banned. I am upset because I had invested a lot of money and a lot of time on that account and definitely do not plan on doing that again. I had planned on becoming a loyal player again now that I was finally able to afford to play again, but unfortunately, will have to part ways with it. I am super disappointed and would definitely not recommend to use any service provided by this company ever again. Their customer service and empathy is completely lackluster.… Expand

    This is NOT just a game is a masterpiece, that even in the dark nights could (and would) make me think i dont play this game for fun if i wanted fun i would go to the beach hunt tatu, this this in play to win.

The "balancing part" is the biggest issue. People seem to think they're making the game better, but honestly, they're just going around in circles. Buff one champ, nerf the other, buff one role, nerf the other. Then after some time, Buff the champ that got nerf, nerf the champ that got buffed, you know where I'm going with this. The actual fixing of the game doesn't happen for years (if ever). If you ask what the problem that needs fixing if not the characters and the items, then your one of those people who worship Riot and they could do no wrong. What they need to fix is the community, specifically toxicity, afk, trolls, and feeders. Many reviews mention this, the community is absolute crap to the point where they tell you to kill yourself, and if one guy afks you're basically gonna get screwed for the next thirty minutes. "NO, they try to fix that with the honor system and surrender before 3 mins thing. if one is afk, so they do focus on it" So they tried and implemented two things for the biggest issues (not just, oh thats a bug, but an issue that makes you say **** this game) that are in the game which is going for 10 years now, and those "fixes" are basically nothing? yup you're right, they're fixing it (sarcasm). I say they should stop with the balancing which is not doing anything really since the beta version of the game is useless and the actual game is pretty much the beta, and actually figure out how to make the community better with trial and error until it gets fixed, not just try one thing and call it quits you lazy ****s.… Expand

    The game pre 2013 was a really great game. It was so good in fact, that any changes to it could only ruin it.

    The game has seriously lost any form of creative building or balancing in champions. Most people IN this game anymore, do not use almost any teamwork or grouping and Riot hasn't encouraged it since the early days.

    in the early days they'd make videos about it, constantly talk about being a good teammate... they had report systems for: NO COMMUNICATION, UNSKILLED, AVOIDING GROUP... now it's essentially a big Kiosk for really bad, overpriced skins and gamble-boxes. The overlay is hideous and the skill trees are replaced by really bad rune trees where only very few skills in any are really usable.

    Every new champ is a Delete Button that's somehow unforgettable. Turrets are simply worthless let alone this game being a tower defense game. Minions once had worth and another strategy of the game was being a PUSHER and augmenting them. Now it's just sped up games where people rush for linear builds. The versatility of champs has been removed. If it's a tank, it's a brick. Nunu is a perfect example, or Sejuani... take away what makes them fun and unique and make them bricks with one decent scaling stat. Anything but HP on either is useless.

    The old skins and animations were better done and they even looked like they had definition or the ones meant to be comical WERE comical... all the redos are choppy, underdone animations and movements and skin redos that are just awful. Kayle's new look is beyond terrible.

    What's really funny too is that Riot, Virtue Signals and all their reports are based around hate speech (or talking too much in general...) and they pretend their game is safe for all people (namely kids) but it's completely over-saturated in sex. Evelynn looks like she's riding a #$%& it's so inappropriate and every splash art now for a s skin with for a female character has to have giant t#$s showing on it to sell it. It reminds me of the hypocrisy of World of Warcraft and making every Horde race a non-Caucasian racial stereotype with racist jokes and jokes about how they stink and they're ugly built into their emotes/phrases. It's just stupid and hypocritical. Riot doesn't like language like "oh that guy got raped.." in game but every female in the game looks like a shameless French whore with the focal point of the art being T&A. They also have a lot of Devil s#$% and horns and Free Masonic symbolism in the art. It's just dumb. No one cares about your bigoted clubs. You can tell the artist is one. (I have them in my family I know all of it when I see it). The art concepts are terrible anyway. Just because you're a good technical artist doesn't mean you're a good artist. The concepts suck.

    It's just bad these days. Beyond belief.

    My girl friend and I, if we both liked a character over the years, it got changed and ruined. In looks, voice acting and abilities. Completely changed and stupid. League was something else in the past... and in the past it was fun and it WAS a strategic, team based tower defense game.

    Now it's mortal combat for kids with a Care Bear security system built in that's totally Virtue Signaling but yet hypocritical based on the companies other content. Making the changes in the first place starting around 2013 was bad. I've even seen things start to be rolled back now, after a ton of changes over the years. They should seriously release the earlier version of this game separately, I guarantee more people would play it and enjoy it.

    The most glaring issue in the game is the complete unbalance and the community that just doesn't give 2 s#$%& and a #$%@ about teamwork or performing their rolls.

    Games end in 20 minutes or under anyway. It's just feeling like a constant waste of time. The matching is hideous. It's worse then it's ever been. You get teams that work together and do what they need to do and then another side where it's impossible to get an ADC to TOUCH enemies or poke or group or get a team in general to give a s#$% about what's going on in the game.

    Another fact: Illoui can defeat a team of 5 alone with 2 or 3 items and win games solo. She's been ridiculous since the day she was conceived. Not even range can defeat her when tentacle swarms creating a mobile death field everywhere around her and she's a tank without even being tanked up that much. And the changes aren't even complete... summoner spell art thumbnails are still inconsistent in artwork... champs are still not updated leaving a small portion merely usable...

    It's hard to learn to play in the beggining, but, in my view, it's worth to learn how to play and to play with friends! Sometimes it becames a little annoying, but I see it as the best MOBA game of the world!

    This MOBA, as any other, comes with the components of strategizing and adapting. No two matches are the same, so accommodating to the current situation is just as crucial as weighing out priorities is.
    Riot is also constantly updating "League of Legends", meaning that the game is ever-changing. New characters, skins, items, and game modes are released periodically, and some existing champions are instead reworked to fit the current layout of the game.
    The company also does an acceptable job at handling the perpetually angry and demanding community. For example, if someone is being a bit of a handful during a certain match, this individual can be muted, which means that his/her messages will not be shown. After the match, players can report this person, and Riot personnel will revise these claims. If they find these accusations to be truthful, said player will be banned, and those who reported him/her will be rewarded accordingly.
    Overall, I would highly recommend "League of Legends" as it is easily enjoyable due to its mechanics and constant adjustments, and, although the community can sometimes be stereotypically toxic and bothersome to deal with, the general thrill of the game and the fact that it is completely free to play smoothly make up for it.    … Expand

    Got suspended for unintentionally feeding with a 4.14 KDA in plat 1. People legit just report you if they lose so you get punished for doing nothing wrong. Support hasn't responded in over a day. This game needs it's tribunal system back. The new ranked system should be reverted. The game has turned into a joke since by the time you master anything to be good enough to play competitively Riot reworks builds, items, champions, and adds new ridiculously overtuned and frustrating champions/reworks to the game. They need to add the ability to permanently turn off chat, remove ping spamming and the question mark ping, and remove autofill. Tbh if they turned off chat for everyone except premades that would probably help the game become a lot less toxic. And ofc keep people muted in post game lobby.… Expand

    Definitely better in the older seasons. Started to get kinda crappy after realease of Zoe i dont like the new champs. Meta is really broken in this game because of the huge champ pool. Even with these problem Lol is still game-play wise the best MOBA out there.

    I find that with League of Legends, Riot has cultivated one of the most unique spaces in gaming history—mostly for good reasons but also for some awful ones, and in the gaming museum of the future, League is sure to have its own wing.
