    I played this game for 5 years, but I stopped playing it a few months ago because this game is now complete garbage. Not just me, but the entire community is feeling stressed when they play it, by a lot of factors.
    1- The game is extremely unbalanced: the damage has increased dramatically in recent years, and a small mistake means you die and probably lose the game.     1- The game is extremely unbalanced: the damage has increased dramatically in recent years, and a small mistake means you die and probably lose the game. Newly launched champions are ridiculously strong and have a lot of mobility, making old or low-mobility champions useless and outdated.

    2- Toxic community: literally all matches will have someone trolling, afk or offending the team. And even reporting, they are not punished. If there is one people on your team trolling or AFK, you will ALWAYS lose and feel stressed.

    3- Horrible client: even with the best computer in the world and the lowest settings enabled, your client will be lagging and full of bugs.

    4- The company always remains silent about the problems of the game and does nothing to change.    … Expand

    league of legends es en su base un gran juego , gran cantidad de personajes , buenas mecánicas , buena tienda , variedad de habilidades y un buen y curioso mapeado . su mayor fallo es el cliente , se crashea cada 2 minutos y la tienda con todo ese sistema de cajas y llaves debería ser ilegal , pero después de esto , el lol mola :)

    Played for years then get banned for getting flamed and asking "who is your favorite superhero and why is it spiderman?" also said "haven't played in a while and don't care about winning" didn't know silver was so intense its worth a ban for me to come back to ranked after 3 years lol. Not worth install, don't care about you when they are dying and banning for no reason.

    This is Hands down the worst moba out right now, the company who calls themselves RIOT games should be completely ashamed, ive not played a more unbalanced , unfun game in almost my entire gaming career. pretty pathetic excuse for a moba. really needs to see some Critical nerfs and changes before its ever good.

It's like walking against a wall. but then again you could always have smurf kids going into ranked with a much lower mmr account than they really are. And E-sports price pools are low af nearly pathetic for such a large Community. I gave 4 stars cuz the game was fun back in the day and for the memories...     The game is really rewarding but if your teammate isn't doing well you'll end up dead and half your braincells paralyzed. The report button is abusive too and gets your account terminated for no reason causing you to do an appeal which Riot Games is never strict on    Terrible.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First of all the game used to be very good. I like the simplicity of 3vs3 and 5vs5.. Now they removed 3vs3 and reworked all of the old champions into something completely different.. Why not just make a new champ?

    Secondly I enjoy Team Fight Tactics [TFT] but the random engine for championselection is SO broken it doesn't make any sense to gather a team with 8+ champions within the same synergy.. The game is more about luck than actually being rewarded for trying a nice build.. What a **** it is to play.. Else just go some snowball champs whom are completely over powered....    … Expand

    Es el juego que más horas le he dedicado y puedo decir que su comunidad cada año ha ido a peor. Hace unos años se podía disfrutar mucho más del juego que ahora. Aún así, creo que eso no es culpa del juego el cuál, igualmente, sigo enganchado después de 6 años jugando.

    My favourite game. Can't stop playing. Addicted???? Only thing I don't like is that they keep introducing new characters and that the game isn't always optimized. Also that ranked queue system isn't always fair. Great game overall;!

    The game is more quicker and very sharpened. You get everything or nothing. For "competetive" players it is something necessary. But not everybody are competetive robots.

    Gameplay is schematized and dull. No surprise. Only standard farming map with fights. Every game. Another "need" of competetive players. Very quickly you can get bored.

    After all, LOL is like fireworks. All colors , sounds mixed together - you get very easily exited. But in time, you can get bored. Not if you quickly skip to next firework/game.

    Yes, it is pay-to-play and pay-to-win. Paying people are clients not players. This is problem.

    Community is toxic. At this point is good to say, it is not only community error.
    The game itself keeps players under pressure. In case of competetive players it is (maybe) okay. But not for everybody. In games, especially competetive games, emotion comes and grows. A single mistake can have fatal aftermaths. And this is a problem of LOL.
    The game has a community that she raised herself.

    This game is not balanced to be "competetive". Especially if "balance" very often corresponds to sales trends. Competetive players are more like entertainers.    … Expand

    Riot Games staff refuse to listen to any feedback about the matchmaking system being awful. I just had a game were am vs a plat adc and plat support and I get silver player and my adc and mid laner feed and then afk. Yet Riot Games refuse to listen or do anything about it

    Riot think that its ok for the vs team to get plat plays while you get bronze player. Riot refuse to listen to any feedback that give about the awful matchmaking and just use the same excuse that its just an unlucky match up. when this is happening every other game. 11 years on and Riot Games still dont have a clue on what they are doing and they treat the community like idiots.     No art or subtlety and anything that was funny about skins or champs just got removed or redone, totally missing the point. It's an obnoxious, hyperbolic, eyesore.

    I work at a school where kids aren't even playing it anymore. Club's gone. lol Even the girls that once played it have the same opinions as the boys. Pretty much mine! lol It's just hideous and stupid and broken.

    Go online and figure out which champs with which items are the cheapest and most overpowered... that's all you need to do to get ahead, because it's that broken. Only a small amount works. The rest is all left behind and unusable.

    Icons aren't even updated, the art doesn't even match from different decades. lol It's that bad.

    All they care about is selling you the new broken champ and collecting a lot of money for skins and chromas on something over-powered.

    Even those are degrading. The prices went way up to. Do the math on that it's shocking how they rip you off and for what.

    The direction is money... shaking people down. That's it. They do not give a damn about match-making or serious gaming and teamwork... etc. Not like they did 2012 and before.

    Sold out and trash.

    I'd be embarrassed to work for this company.

    They're just camping out on top of the corpse of something that was once great and they've been doing it for 7 years.

    Even the surveys are all about the STORE and the PRODUCTS and VALUE... that's it! lol

    The launcher has a lot of technical problems like when the game crashes, or have a slow loanding screen. But with all this problems I still love the game. You have tons of content about the game on the internet, guides of how to play, vídeos to watch, cinematics and minigames. And this is for me the incredible part of this massive game.
    You can play with your friends or random teamates, you have a lot options to choose your style of how you will play the game or the skin of your Champion. It has a huge comunity and a lot of regular players. 4.5 / 5    … Expand

    Its hard to point what went wrong for me with this game over the years, but from being an active almost daily player with an eager to climb beyond diamond in the seasons, i'm barely doing the qualifiers to gold to get the free victorious skin for the year, and that's that. Rarely I check back in for some events or to play with friends, but like only once every other week or month.
    The continuous changes, that I feel most of the time were unnecessary and came faster and faster overtime are to blame I think. Rember: the old galio? Old nidale? Old Zyra (passive multikills)? AP blender Yi? Soraka jungle? Old items: Leviatan? Sword of the Occult? Will of the ancients (spellwamp)? Old supp items (Hearth of gold, philosopher stone, kage's prick)? RIP, RIP and RIP! The list goes on FOREVER...
    Who plays ryze now? Who likes playing Yuumi under gold league? Anyone seen a Nidale over the last 100 games he/she had in the rift?
    They "balanced" out all the things, that made League overall FUN. Now its dumbed down so much it basicly left (mostly and in low level, but not everywhere) basicly to yasuo and zed mains with a 50-50-100% (good-bad-in the enemy team/my team).
    Just to give another example: this season i feel like bot lane meta is kinda dying, especially on the lower level. Even I myself find it better to just bring an ap "support" to support (deal tons of damage for) my team, simply because as I said before, the quality is way beyond critical levels, and YOU CANNOT carry a game, with a support soraka/leona(maybe/janna), etc..., but can with others like veigar ,lux, orianna,etc... or of meta rengar/riven/sion, etc...
    I've said it many times (Support main in case anyone wonders) 0*anything remains what? 0! I can heal, shield, cc, even tank (ie: Cait ult), give my hearth, blood and soul, if the adc, jungle, mid and even the top is ... what it is, there is JUST NOTHING YOU CAN DO!
    Old times? You could; More plausible to do 4v5 and even 3v5-s then it is now.
    I can say the same for TFT as well.

    There is a difference between fun cheese, and forced **** up RNG RIOT! And sadly they took all the fun out, and brought all the **** RNG in.
    Now to be fair, from a neutral view, League is still an outstanding MOBA, with better visuals and sounds, and with clearly a lot of effort put into it (they had the money from us to do it). If you are a new player and NEVER played the game before, you will most likely love it and can give you a solid 8/10 on it. But for me who knew what the game was like and played since S1. It slowly became from a 10/10, to a 8/10 by the end of S5-6, to a now 5 (and almost a 4).
    And just to turn back a bit, why did we have to go beyond account level 30 "to infinity"? Aside to bring in loot boxes and more opportunity to make $$$? Yes Full f2p players can get skins now thanks to the crafting system, which I as a fellow f2p player was happy at first, but then again after some time you and many other veterans can ask the question, whats it worth now to have a cool skin on your favourite champion? Yea sure you bought the skin years ago and now its basically free you threw away a bit of money, Yes you see more people with the same skin as yours. But do you really get the same "joy"?
    Normal rift is a **** avoid it if possible, its a toxic nest literally.
    Aram is aram, its ok, Rest are the best.
    Practice tool again: great addition, 0 fun potencial with the 60 minute time limit. Still its a good thing to have, and very much appreciated.
    What this game really needs is to get all of its **** together finally, make it AT LEAST a year without any **** major changes/balance updates.

    week 1: new champ comes in (higher price to buy, idk wtf was the point of that, previously was 6300 all time, feels CHEAP!)
    week 2: major nerf(s).

I've played this game for 10 years and I'm qutting now. I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone. it gives people a false mindset to pursue success. The community is awful, there are so many bugs in the game and in the client that never get fixed and they focus way too much on skins than balancing the game and fixing bugs. This game is awful.

This brings me to my biggest issue.

    The largest problem with league is it's player base. It is one of the most toxic groups I've ever played with. Teams quickly dissolve into blaming each other and at times it turns to telling people to kill themselves or hate speech. The report mechanism of league has failed to stop this being a consistent and common occurrence. The community that watches their esports is far kinder but actually playing their game is truly miserable. Being a positive attitude just makes you a target for other negative players. I've been involved in several other online communities after putting League down and have found out that this type of aggression is rare in other games. The chat function is important since this is a team game so there isn't much you can do other than try and mute the toxic players as they come up. Its unfortunate there isn't away to block the demeaning comments before they come out.    … Expand

    Client lags/often has bugs

    Game has more and more diversity in champions(+bugs) ,and is hard to control yourself and pick something without being contest high by enemy team , there are 3-4 champions which could harm your gameplay after picking something , not as it use to be at the early stage ,where you coulded control ,and hold at distance what is broken against your champion you choose to play.

    a percent of 33% of the champions pool rarely show themself in league anymore, mostly you can see new champions ,because of broken mechanics +high cc +no weaknesses as the old champions had and been created in armony with the pre existing ones.

    The ranked doesn't show likely you advance , and the quality of the ranked games rise, because it tends to be much more frustrating as you go up, one single mistake deciding over a fight in some cases and 1 variable is enought to flip hard the team chances to win.

    The new modified system with the drake buffs,maded there to don't be late game , when an entire roie class depend on the late game scale (ADC) ,and mages and adc , on top some of them are squishy , get now executed on 10% hp from elder ,which really gets in conflict with what games been designed to work like.

    The solo/duo que is often the target of abuses ,from higher tier players going lower elos , to boosting services , to unbalanced premades in team ,as ranks exploiting team balance system which riot use , and to the fact that premades communication can work against you ,when you que alone and play vs duo bot lane with a random support ,which may even be autofilled and have no knowledge over the role.

    + you invest money ,and can get banned 140 years trying to lower toxicity around you , because rules are rules to Riot , they don't care about your good intentions , doing something which conflicts with rules still getting punished ,even if it had as result the attempt to lower someone else troll/grief behaviour, or toxicity.    … Expand

Having spent over 2 years with the game and having attended a professional league event, I only now feel able to comment on the key to the game.

    The uniqueness of the game can easily enthral. However, unlike a good thriller or mystery, the key is nothing like you had hoped for and brutally strips you of much of the joy you felt about gaming. Without a shadow of a doubt the community is the most abusive and aggressive I have encountered anywhere by many nautical miles. The cause of this is Riot games give the appearance of earnestly tackling the problem, whilst secretly abusing their own customers through warnings, slow queues and bans for those with network disconnects. This goes well beyond the MMO distress of a disconnect during a crucial moment causing a team wipe. Specifically as the distress is magnified by Riot consciously punishing the victim.

    This sadistic nature at the heart of the firm is what drives rational people to be so foul to one another, as to avoid the wrath of Riot, they are driven to abuse their fellow players to enforce Riot's rules. The game is an excellent example of sociology and psychology utilised to turn a population into one of informants and oppressors. Once you strip away the layers to find the key you discover this not only to be true, but discover you receive no benefit in return. There is no story, satisfaction from winning or skill acquired. You play solely to avoid the wrath of Riot and the unwilling player base they manipulate to abuse one another.

    It is an abusive firm, with an abusive player base which disguises this to ensure it extracts its pound of flesh. You will understand much for discovering the key to this game, but at such a price that you never truly recover.     Much more visually appealing than DOTA 2, with lots of characters. If it weren't for eternals, and the fact that the balance team is at best competent, and at worst, forgets what role the champion they're balancing actually is, the game would be a solid 10/10.

    I started playing the league in 2011. She turned from the best MOBA to the worst. Esports killed her. the riots made such a disgusting balance. That I turned from the best player to the worst.

    But we are here to talk about the 5vs5 mode the core of this MOBA game! When you have a game with 100 plus champions balance is really hard but LOL is trying his best with patches and more to balance it and the developers they are doing a really good job ! Graphics are also fantastic with a lot of updates since day one and the voice acting of the characters is amazing ! There is also an huge LORE in this moba with a really interesting cinematics ! Gameplay is easy and funny and as a team game everyone have a job to do and if they do it right they will win the game (top support juggle mid adc).

    But why not 10/10 .....i will tell you why this game have the most toxic community i have ever encounter! A simple mistake and you get the curses of your life!! And its not a few of players is almost everygame and this is getting worse and worse...Simple the community cant enjoy the game ! The focus only the win which is normal....i want also to win but first i want to enjoy the game !Another
    issue is the smurfing ...And what is smurfing a high ranked player gets lower rank accounts (friends or even getting played for it ) and start playing for them in order to get them higher ranks (cause higher ranks means higher rewards for the account) so that means a lower ranked players getting destroyed of a high rank skill player and ruining the experience and when the lower rank player gets back to play in higher ranks account he ruins the game too for the higher rank players ....

    For conclussion i dont know how to fix this but i surely recommend this game its free and its not p2w!!!

    I played this game for 10 years and I love it. Unfortunately the matchmaking is the worst! You only get judged by win or loose, performance does not matter. You have 1 idiot in your team and lose. Over the years its just coinfilp win/lose/win/lose and it feels playing good does not really matter anymore. Too much easy champ abilities, Teamplay focused.     This game used to be more fun. If you have 4 friends to play with it's okay but with randoms it's just impossible. A lot of game breaking patches and updates also ruin the fun.

    no importa cuantas veces intente volver a instalarlo y jugarlo, simplemente no logro hacer, por mas que lo intente, que este juego me divierta, ya van 3 veces que lo instalo, mismas veces que lo termino desinstalando despues de 2 partidas, las partidas se basan basicamente en hacer clic en estupideces para hacer subir numeros, asi durante casi 2 horas, que es lo que algunas partidas puedenno importa cuantas veces intente volver a instalarlo y jugarlo, simplemente no logro hacer, por mas que lo intente, que este juego me divierta, ya van 3 veces que lo instalo, mismas veces que lo termino desinstalando despues de 2 partidas, las partidas se basan basicamente en hacer clic en estupideces para hacer subir numeros, asi durante casi 2 horas, que es lo que algunas partidas pueden durar, hay muchos objetos super complicados, que ni siquiera añaden estrategia a las partidas, ya que casi siempre terminas buscando en internet el mejor set de objetos para tu personaje, los roles son super aburridos y super tediosos, no se conforman con hacer que el combate sea hacer clics para hacer golpes de remate si no que tambien esperan que me quede todas las 2 horas que dura la partida en el mismo lugar del unico mapa que existe en el juego, ademas, como cereza del pastel, la comunidad es super toxica, se que esto no es culpa total del juego pero los desarrolladores hacen poco o nada para evitar esto, si te toca la mala suerte de que uno de los integrantes de tu equipo se salga de la partida, no solamente significa que estas jodido (porque despues de una decada que lleva el juego no se les ha ocurrido a los desarrolladores que el integrante sea reemplazado por un cpu, a pesar de que si existen partidas contra cpu) si no que ademas la partida va a ser 3 veces mas tediosa de lo que ya era, en general, league of legends es un juego de buscar cosas por internet para repetirlas haciendo clics, y subiendo numeritos pendejos y rezar porque todos los integrantes de tu equipo se queden en su zona toda la partida, no solamente es un juego que me aburre, sino que es un juego que me frustra, sin exagerar prefiero 1000 veces jugar con mi imaginacion que jugar league of legends… Expand

    Giving this a zero though because in around 2015 a new design team took over. Since then the game has been getting worse and worse every year. I used to look forward to patch notes but now reading them makes me cringe. The game used to be almost perfectly balanced in 2014 but since then the balance team his been feeding us balance roulette. They intentionally ruin the game in order to "shake up the competitive scene". Every change to a game should be to make it better but Riot even admitted in their own words that they do "change for the sake of change".

    Needless to say the community got sick of Riots **** real fast so what does Riot do? They stop releasing their player numbers. Riot continued to ruin the game for another couple years till the point where their forums were filled with nothing but angry and negative posts. So what does Riot do? They remove their own forums. Now if you want to give feedback you do it on reddit. If the post is about esports or a highlight clip it is instantly taken down, including any and all discussion about the actual game, leaving Riot in their own echo chamber.

    Every single new champion in the past 3 years has been just terrible. Ability descriptions used to be a sentence or two but on "Modern" league champs they span entire essays. Of course they're incredibly overpowered and they receive back to back nerfs for 6 months straight until they get to a point where they're statically balanced but still incredibly frustrating to play againt.

    If you want to know about the current state of League just go to twitch and open any league stream. There was always toxic streamers but now every streamer can't help themselves but criticize the game and the developers. Even casters from live tournament games drop a load on the developers whenever they think they can get away with it, it's gotten that bad.

    So here's a zero. I give the lowest score because the current design team were handed a great game, and continue to do nothing but ignore feedback and make it worse every single year.    … Expand

    I find that with League of Legends, Riot has cultivated one of the most unique spaces in gaming history—mostly for good reasons but also for some awful ones, and in the gaming museum of the future, League is sure to have its own wing.
