    Putting it simply, if you enjoyed Layers of Fear and wanted more, Inheritance is exactly what you’re hoping for.

    Layers of Fear: Inheritance is a micro-sequel of the base game that allows the player to feel the horror from the point of view of a child, in a certain approach to "Among The Sleep".

    Like the base game, it is based on walking on "rails" until you reach the end of the game, with the focus once again being on the storyLike the base game, it is based on walking on "rails" until you reach the end of the game, with the focus once again being on the story itself, not the challenges.

    The dlc is short, can be completed in 20 minutes or so (the first time can take almost an hour), it has multiple endings and if you are interested in the base game's story, it complements a lot by showing more information about the father and mother .

    Unfortunately this dlc is criminally short, 1 hour to be exact, tops.It works as a nice epilogue but doesnt offer anything else.
