    LawBreakers is a very good online shooter that distinguishes itself with a couple of original, spot-on ideas. What makes it trail behind Overwatch are disappointingly forgettable characters. [10/2017, p.46]

    LawBreakers' most important element is the strong, tight gameplay that conveys the feeling of a classic shooter in a modern package. But the rest of the game disappoints with uninteresting characters and maps, not a lot of options and just a few modes.

    No matter what comes next, Lawbreakers is a success. It's proof, among other things, that veteran design talent really does mean something - and that the shooters of the late '90s still have something to teach the modern game industry.
