CD-ActionMar 4, 2015I have fond memories of the latest rendez-vous with Miss Croft in the Temple of Osiris and I wish you the same. [02/2015, p.50]

PC GamesDec 23, 2014Last year’s Guardian of Light was quite the surprise hit for me: the mixture of arcade-shooting and interesting puzzle-segments was a lot of fun – especially in coop. With Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, Crystal Dynamics didn’t focus on anything innovative but rather on delivering good gameplay, beautifully designed levels and cool coop-puzzles (this time you can even play in a team of four). So if you don’t expect Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris to add mind blowing new elements and are satisfied with “only” a solid sequel, I can only recommend it.

Dec 17, 2014Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris offers a short but a really fun experience, and gamers who enjoy a good action/puzzle game surely will be pleased.
-
Dec 12, 2014Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is a fun experience that shines when played alone but also with a few friends. Bear in mind that cooperation is key and you might need some time before you get accustomed to the problematic controls.
-
Dec 11, 2014Temple of Osiris is an awesome cooperative game; it offers great synergy and difficulty between characters, which results in amusing and engaging gameplay. It’s best played with friends.
-
Dec 9, 2014My main complaint is that there isn't enough of it—clever puzzles, shooting, and platforming have zero fat, and make its four hours fly by.

Game World Navigator MagazineJan 24, 2015Instead of building upon Guardian of Light’s ideas, Square Enix produced a rushed rehash, turning Aztec pyramids into Egyptian ones. Those who played the original game won’t find anything new here, save for some puzzles with mirrors. [Feb 2015]

Jan 25, 2015A nice Christmas gift for the fans of ‘classic’ Lara Croft.
-
Jan 19, 2015If you liked Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, then you will like Temple of Osiris. A few mechanical issues make the experience less than ideal, but this cheap little game can be a lot of action-packed fun.
-
Dec 23, 2014Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is a co-op game. It is easy but nice to play, and the trivial story makes it a great game for anyone. The difficulty in this game is not challenging, which means that getting better armor does not really change a lot. Easy is easy.
-
Dec 15, 2014Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is a solid follow up to Guardian of Light, but the sequel does not surprise as much the second time around, sticking closely to the same design with some slight tweaks around gear and the inclusion of a basic loot mechanic.
-
Dec 15, 2014The reality is if you’re looking for this kind of puzzle-action isometric fix, there’s not a shortage of games out there which can offer it. So presumably Lara herself is the lure, however, like I said before the story and characters were, for me, anything but a strong point. That said, this is a decent game with enjoyable puzzle mechanics, a slick combat system and smooth luminous graphics. Just don’t expect any surprises, you’re getting exactly what you see.
-
Dec 11, 2014Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is a fun distraction that, while not exactly gripping, will provide several hours of enjoyable loot n’ shoot adventuring.
-
Jan 6, 2015Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is a disappointing sequel to the entertaining Guardians of Light. The possibility to explore the old Egypt with four players is fun, but it is not more than that. We like the addition of loot, but it is simply not crucial enough. There could have been so much more adventure in this game.
-
Dec 15, 2014There are still great things to be found in the Temple of Osiris, and those who care less about scoring points or who have some good partners to team up with can still find some fun in it. For me, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is a lot like Horus's staff: it is a treasure that can do great things, but it is cursed.
-
Dec 14, 2014In the end, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris was almost an enjoyable sequel to Guardian of Light. However, it’s impossible to look past its glaring problems with performance, which sully what could have been an otherwise enjoyable sequel.
