    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is not a short game. I -like everyone else playing the game today- did use a walkthrough guide. But first I visited all 48 (47 of course ;) ) tiles of the map and did the obvious things.
    So it still took me about 10 hours.
    Riddles range from easy to nigh on impossible (Guessing the Gnome's name for instance is nigh on impossible even with the witches note's hint and if you already have the right notion)
    All in all, this game is still playable. Solid controls, fair saving system (which you'll need cause there are lots of ways to die). It is a marvel for a game from 1984. Easy to see why King's Quest I became such a landmark for riddle design and Computer Games!    … Expand

    A decent 1 x 1 remake of the original King's Quest: Quest for the Crown EGA game. A good first game to people try the universe of King's Quest.
