    20 hours in, I've really enjoyed this game. The combat is fun and engaging, the story is actually really good imo, the graphics are fantastic, and the soundtrack was an instant classic for me. For the size of the dev team, this was a really ambitious project and from what I've played, they did a great job. I've been waiting years for a good historical medieval rpg, and they have delivered.20 hours in, I've really enjoyed this game. The combat is fun and engaging, the story is actually really good imo, the graphics are fantastic, and the soundtrack was an instant classic for me. For the size of the dev team, this was a really ambitious project and from what I've played, they did a great job. I've been waiting years for a good historical medieval rpg, and they have delivered. I don't believe this game is for everyone, though. This is a very story driven RPG. Expect long cutscenes and lots of roleplaying moments where you're walking with someone for 10 minutes. This could easily bore some people I imagine, especially if you're not engaged in the story. There are plenty of things that could currently be improved through updates with this game, but it's nothing worse than other games like Fallout 4 or Skyrim had that got passes by fans and I expect them to be worked out in the coming months. The AI can be weird at times, the saving system should be changed, and more general bug fixes could be made. Overall, though. If you think you would enjoy this game, you probably will.     kingdom come is a game that suites players who like to play games that are very authentic like arma.
    nothing in this game is unrealistic, although i would bet my ass i can hold bow better than my character in game. seriously though, archery really sucks in this game, but its powerful if you land an arrow on your enemy.

    anyways you start your first couple hours doing very simple and unchallenging missions, which some people will find it very boring and tedious. but in my experience those missions really helped me explore the town the character lives in and meet all the people there and in general learn the story and relationships that the protagonist has.

    the fighting in this game really gets you on the edge of your seat even if you are fighting the weakest man in the game. the game isnt like skyrim or the witcher in terms of combat where in those games, you have to hack and slash until the enemy dies. in kindom come, you have to hack and slash until the enemy dies but this time imagine not fighting a simple minded ai, but fighting an opponent that thinks like you, and fights like you. So the game is pretty hard to learn and to much harder to master.

    this game is a masterpiece and it deserves all the support it can get, the only issues in this game is the bugs and the optimization, that is why it gets an 8/10 for me.    … Expand

    If your looking for a new way to play a classic RPG than this game is for you! if your looking for realism in an RPG than KCD is what you're looking for! Combat is somewhat difficult to learn but its also part of the challenge. The main storyline of good and fairly well thought out. and the side quests are good.     the quests and exploration are very similar to skyrim but the side quests are not repetitive and the exploring isn't as exciting, since the most interesting thing to find at are the ruins which are mostly abandoned and have no loot.

    the game is also very buggy and poorly optimized, most people would let that slide since the game was made by an indie studio, but that is not excuse, the consumer expects a good experience from a game whomever it was made by

    aside from alll the bad things i said, this game is the closest i have seen to a real representation of the medieval age.    … Expand

    I really like this game, it starts off slowly, but is telling you a story, and you feel totally involved from the outset, and when you first see an army coming up over the hill at the very beginning, it sends a chill down your spine and sets you up for the journey ahead.

    A cracking game and highly recommended.

    Juego bastante diferente e inmersivo, si te gusta rolear y la epoca medieval, lo vas a disfrutar como un enano. La unica pega es la cantidad alarmante de bugs, pero se agradece la cantidad de updates y fixes que sacan para arreglarlo

    A great game that’s better than it should be considering how inexperience and small this dev team is. However, they accomplished a lot of things even AAA teams either can’t or won’t. If you enjoy a more realistic setting and gameplay experience, as well as fantastic voice acting and writing, KCD is the game for you. The best part about KCD is the devs work in a lot of nuanced mechanicsA great game that’s better than it should be considering how inexperience and small this dev team is.     KCD is really good. The graphics, atmosphere and soundtrack are wonderful. Story is a bit on a cliché side and the characters could have more depth, but otherwise it's intriguing and entertaining. Game mechanics are well-thought and feel fresh when compared to most other genre titles.     Выглядит великолепно, фотореалистичная графика, и во время дождя например она просто запредельно красиво выглядит. И это в целом реалистичная рпг. Особенно понравилась система доспехов - если ты полностью упаковался в латные доспехи, под ними у тебя кольчуга длинная, и потом стеганая куртка - то при ударе по тебе мечом с тобой не будет ничего - потому что мечом бить по латам бесполезно. НоВыглядит великолепно, фотореалистичная графика, и во время дождя например она просто запредельно красиво выглядит. И это в целом реалистичная рпг. Особенно понравилась система доспехов - если ты полностью упаковался в латные доспехи, под ними у тебя кольчуга длинная, и потом стеганая куртка - то при ударе по тебе мечом с тобой не будет ничего - потому что мечом бить по латам бесполезно. Но и у тебя такая же история. И в итоге если против тебя два-три противника в хороших доспехах - ты их бьешь, оружие от них отскакивает, а ты устаешь. .И они тебя усталого бьют. Вообще боевка с одной стороны реалистичная, а с другой - а как врагов-то убивать? Я расстреливал с лука с лошади, но это как-то тупо. Не, в реальности я бы так и делал - зачем рисковать, если можно просто отстреливать с лука ничем не рискуя. Но это же игра. В общем, боевка и нравится и очень не нравится одновременно. А так - отличная игра, квесты, алхимия (отвары травяные), сюжет - как экранизация исторической книги. Игра, которую хочется просто запускать и кататься на лошади под дождем. Минусы - это первая игра разработчиков, деньги с Кикстартера, не хватает масштаба. Но даже без скидок на бюджет, выглядит она просто нереально красиво. У меня по дороге на дачу такие же пейзажи, восточноевропейская природа показана реалистично. Советую всем, игра необычная, похожа на Mount and blade больше всего… Expand

    The combat system is sharpened to a duel, the fight with more than one opponent turns into some kind of torture, it immediately destroys all the pleasure from fighting in this game. By the next part, this problem needs to be solved, it is not necessary to process everything from scratch, the current combat system is beautiful, as an option, you can switch from focus on one opponent (as it is now) to free combat (dark messiah), such switching was for example sekiro or fable.

    Disgusting side quests, 90% of which bring-kill-steal quests. In 2018, this is just a bad tone, you have to get rid of this. Attract outside help, ideally let it be Chris Avellone, at least as a consultant, this will greatly increase the variability and quality of side quests.

    The final score: 8 out of 10. The potential of the franchess is huge. I look forward to part 2.    … Expand

    A really fantastic RPG with an engaging story that actually makes you care about the characters. Fun, challenging, rewarding, and innovative combat, combined with a (surprisingly) mostly historically accurate setting.

    The only criticism I can make of it is that, unfortunately, the game still suffers from some bugs, and the DLC have, while good, been very brief for their price point.

    Good game. Combat system pushes reality just to the point that it becomes restrictive. Story is good, graphics are good. If you are a medieval re-enacter like I am, it's a must play. More of a simulator at times!

    Its a beautiful game, has to much history spread around the game, maybe if you only do the main-quest you feel an empty game.
    The combat is something that has to be learned, how to move, attack, dodge... and could be hard to some people.
    You can be one of many roles in gameplay, assassin, knight, archer... so it's your play stile

    I got this game close to release and at that time i would have told you that it had potential but the game breaking bugs made it unplayable. Having recently done another play through they've seemed to fix most of the bugs and the game runs great.

    В ксд много юмора, крайне советую проходить все побочные квесты чтобы полностью проникнуться

    I've played this game around 300 hours and it has been a joy. Graphically great, but physics could be better. Story nice, but could also have been better. Immersion is great, all in all a fine experience

    i haven't been this addicted to an rpg since skyrim. the world is very well made and immersive. i'm willing to look past the glitches and optimization issues because i was having too much fun to really care.

    1) ЛАГИ в 2023 году это позор 2) Отсутствие нормального количества диалогов, нельзя с кем-то поболтать нормально или вспомнить события старых квестов выполненных уже, из-за этого ты не проникаешься и не чувствуешь что это реально твой друг/товарищ/новый знакомый и не чувствуешь свое влияние на мир (нельзя пойти к нпс и сказать аля помнишь я тебе помогал    11 причин, почему эта игра – говно.

    1) ЛАГИ в 2023 году это позор
    2) Отсутствие нормального количества диалогов, нельзя с кем-то поболтать нормально или вспомнить события старых квестов выполненных уже, из-за этого ты не проникаешься и не чувствуешь что это реально твой друг/товарищ/новый знакомый и не чувствуешь свое влияние на мир (нельзя пойти к нпс и сказать аля помнишь я тебе помогал с такой-то вещью, ну как дела теперь) 3) Боевка (без комментариев, хуже говна я нигде не видела, один на один специфично, но интересно, а если с группой сражаться, то это днище конченое) 4) СЛИШКОМ однообразные виды, в плане атмосферы и природы, все города и деревни и поля леса однотипные, я понимаю почему так, но можно было что-то придумать для хоть какого-то разнообразия
    5) Слишком много одинаковых нпс, хоть моделек 5 б еще добавили
    6) У нпс в городах 3-4 базовых диалога между собой, это руинит все погружение, или придумайте уникальные нормальные уличные диалоги между нпс, или вырежьте и не позорьтесь
    6) Убогий неудобный интерфейс переодевания гг, постоянная путаница с тонной слоев одежды
    7) Механика с едой смешная, гг вечно хочет жрать, ок, реализм и все такое как вы хотели, но реализация смех. Постоянно заходишь на частные территории, ЧТОБЫ ПОЖРАТЬ ИЗ ЧУЖОГО КОТЛА, КОТОРЫЙ У ВСЕХ ОДИНАКОВЫЙ. Это смешно, бесит и убивает погружение
    8) Отсутствие нормальных КОМПЛЕКТОВ брони
    9) Алхимия нудное долгое дно, слишком долгая прокачка перка автоматической алхимии
    10) Отсутствие отыгрыша как такового. Долгая тема, но вкратце. Отсутствует отыгрыш характера по диалогом (Харизма/Красноречие/Угроза не в счет, это лишь механика получения желаемого, ты выбираешь это не от отыгрыша гг, а от того, на что хватает статов). Отсутствует вариации прохождения квестов в согласии с отыгрышем. Репутация реализована как дно. Например я хотела отыгрывать хорошего гг и не делать воровские квесты. Но игра не дала мне альтернативы. То есть я просто теряю пласт сюжета. А в нормальной игре мне бы дали выбор – или иди делай воровские квесты, или например вступай в какой-нибудь орден рыцарей, и одно исключает другое. А так ни рыба, ни мяса, ты можешь делать все квесты подряд и 0 отыгрыша. И зачем эта репутация тогда, ни на что не влияет и ее абузить очень легко
    11) Отсутствие нормальной вариативности

    Но почему же 8 баллов? Потому что несмотря на все эти причины, игра великолепная, интересная, затягивает. И я советую ее всем любителям жанра... Наверное я мазохистка    … Expand

    A very good narrative, held back by a few technical teething issues. Graphics popping in and out can be jarring, but if you look past it, this game is a beautiful window into a non-fantastical medieval Bohemia, with a lot of lovingly rendered, authentic world design and writing.

    I've enjoyed it quite a lot so far. Only issues are: It can be a bit buggy, the UI's not brilliant and the combat is horrendous, but apart from that everything's been amazing. Interesting story and characters along with excellent gameplay and graphics have made this a very enjoyable experience so far.

    Great adventure with exciting campaign, placed in regular, medieval world. There is no fantasy in here. Open world is big and beautiful enough. Protagonist arouses sympathy. NPCs are interesting, as are the dialogues and cut-scenes. Game is quite difficult and rewarding (character progression is more than noticeable). On the other hand, combat system is    RPG different than others.

    Игра одновременно прекрасна и в то же время в ней куча душных моментов. Та же алхимия это невероятная нудятина.
    Боевка хоть и вызвала негодование у некоторых геймеров, но она определенно оригинальная, и как по мне лучше чем тупое закликивание ЛКМ. По моему мнению есть небольшой дисбаланс в сторону    Средневековое РПГ без негров и эльфов-педофилов. Рекомендуется всему белокожему населению.
    Игра одновременно прекрасна и в то же время в ней куча душных моментов. Та же алхимия это невероятная нудятина.
    Боевка хоть и вызвала негодование у некоторых геймеров, но она определенно оригинальная, и как по мне лучше чем тупое закликивание ЛКМ.
    По моему мнению есть небольшой дисбаланс в сторону дробащего оружия. В игре много латников и битвы с ними намного проще проходить именно с дробящим нежели с двуручным мечом. Я же в начале качал именно двуручку и каждое столкновение с фулл экипированным половцем были крайне мучительны, но как только я перешел на палицу, игра стала в сто раз проще
    Сюжет не показался мне супер интересным, но иногда попадаются интересные квесты.
    В целом игра очень добротная, учитывая что это первый проект студии, с нетерпением жду продолжения и настоятельно рекомендую к ознакомлению.    … Expand

    Вначале хочу оговориться, что прошёл игру спустя два года после релиза и получил бесплатно в ЕГС, так что многие косяки, которые были на старте не застал.
    Отличная РПГ в открытом мире. Красивые ролики, интересные сюжетные и побочные квесты.
    Из минусов хочу отметить только техническую часть. Репутация в игре ни на что не влияет. Вырезал 2 раза стражу в монастыре, никаких последствий. Да и многие вещи стоило бы доработать, например охоту. Животные просто спамятся перед лицом не на своих местах и просто патрулируют местность, не ходят на водопой и т.д. В местах появления оленей, почему-то ходят кабаны и т.д. Но всё это мелочи. В целом игра отличная. Лучшая РПГ в открытом мире со времён Ведьмака.
    Ещё хотел бы сказать про сложность. Поначалу игра настолько сложная, что вызывала проблемы даже стартовая локация, но где-то к середине игры, ты так прокачиваешься, что никто особо ничего тебе не может сделать. Можно вырезать целые отряды в одиночку. Не то чтобы я был против, РПГ должна тебе давать ощущение преимущества и крутизны, но я люблю когда игры более сбалансированы по сложности.
    Кто-то жаловался на малую продолжительность, мне лично хватило с лихвой. Пришлось даже брать перерыв, ибо через несколько дней запойного геймплея, игра поднадоела. +есть дополнения, которых даже не касался. В общем то всё, больше сказать нечего. Любителям РПГ от первого лица в открытом мире MUST HAVE. Лучшая игра со времён Скайрима!
    P.S. Хотелось бы ещё написать про спорную систему сохранений. Сохраняться можно только в специальных местах, по сюжету, когда берёте квест, либо сдаёте, либо по чекпоинтам. Также есть напитки, которые позволяют сохраниться. Проблема в том, что система не всегда работает. Сюжетные квесты не всегда имеют чекпоинты и порой приходится переигрывать по полчаса непонятно зачем. +ощущения дискомфорта, когда ты не можешь завершить игру когда тебе хочется, только потому что ещё не достиг чекпоинта. В общем система спорная, но не критичная. Да, я знаю, что есть фанатские патчи, которые правят, но я предпочитаю играть в игры так, как они задуманы разрабами.
    P.S.S. Хотелось бы сказать про боевую систему. Она хороша 1 на 1, но масовые замесы просто смешны. Либо тебя окружают злодеи и пиздят толпой, либо если стенка на стенку, обычно просто забиваешь противников исподтишка. Смотрится потешно. Можно просто зайти за спину противоборствующему отряду и расстреливать в спину из лука с трёх метров. Ни кто на тебя не отреагирует. Но это мелочи. Надеюсь разрабы к следующей части, всё это подтянут и лучше продумают.    … Expand

    It is just so good. It is really realistic, historically and as a RPG. The fighting systems is amazing but it really is hard so you need some time. You need to sleep, eat, learn writing and reading. So many details, cool OST and many more things. Perfomance takes 2 points for me unfortanetly

    The game is very interesting in terms of the historical content, its really fun and has a very strange, but unique and hard combat system that works perfectly. The setting is actually really beautiful and the graphics are quite good. Then, the story is good, but nothing extraordinary and so are the characters.
    My main issue with this game is the hole ending starting when you enter Vranik and ending with the final main quest, but apart from that the game is great.
    Also, remember that this game was not made by a big studio, and warhorse did a fantastic job with this game.
    8/10 (would probably be a 9 with a big budget), recommend playing    … Expand

    If you love the Middle Ages, then this game is worth your time. Of course, there are no big cities (for example, Prague), but villages and other architectural constructions are made well for their time.
    The history game is certainly small (of course, 50 hours pass), but fortunately there is no water in the plot, and it costs time to go through it.

    Upon the release the PC version is the only reasonable way to enjoy Kingdom Come. And there’s a lot to enjoy, because historically accurate Middle Ages are an awesome setting. The beginning of the game might not be spectacular, but give Deliverance a chance and it will develop into a unique, deep, gripping experience. [04/2018, p.42]

    Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a different kind. It's incredibly absorbing in its pace, it amazes with a manically detailed medieval era features and a totally true atmosphere, a series of skillfully built quests and, and when you get used to it, a fantastic combat system. There is a one-too-much cliché in the story arc, but the main problem lies in the technical issues. The game is, however, such a remarkable, huge, different and fresh experience that the occasional bug can be simply ignored.
