This game is absolutely incredible!! Didn't even know about it till I saw it on the shelf! Why is this not more well known?!! If you love realism without absurdity (which is usually the case of RPG that go for the ultra realistic) this game will slip your sock right off and put your feet by the fire. Such an incredible achievement in the gaming world. Gaming at it's finest truly.

Gorgeous visuals, intense combat, varied and interesting mechanics, engrossing story, and a really cool "hook" of being set in a highly accurate medieval world. Awesome achievement for such a small independent studio.

7.7 hours in and I'm loving the game. It's absolutely incredible. Being able to explore Bohemia is wonderful and being able to do it in a non-fantasy world, historically accurate world even better. Hunting has to be one of my favorite features.
Thankfully I haven't encountered many bugs.
I just hope for better optimization in the next patch.

The facial animations need some work, they're not at the level of MEAndromeda, don't worry.
What i love the most are story and characters! Henry is such a cutie, poor guy! By the way, it's been so long since i felt completely immersed into a game like this! 10/10 if you like action RPG

Finally a game where I don't have to play as THE hero! It's very very entertaining and the combat is fun, although a bit clunky.

Optimization could be a bit better and so could the glitches, but nothing game breaking or ruining so far.

Amazing game and cant wait to keep going.

I imagined having to face actual real life problems, like sleeping, eating, bandaging wounds, brewing potions, hard combat. And mostly, this game delivers it all to perfection, but at a cost. Turns out doing realistic things in a videogame is a double-edged sword. The combat is extremely boring and clunky at first, barely being able to fight a single person with my sword makes for a very annoying and long fight. I would constantly break my lockpicks when trying to steal something, I would always get caught when trying to pickpocket someone, I would always fail when brewing a potion, I couldn't hit a single arrow shot, I would immediately die when trying to kill a guard. Simply said, realism is not fun.

However, the more you progress and the more you get accustomed to the combat and the hundreds of mechanics this game has in store for you, the better you become. Just like in real life. And that's where the real genius of this game lies. After about ten hours, I could easily beat my opponent in a one on one, but if there were two guards on me I stood no chance. 25 hours later I'm smacking three enemies around like they're nothing. A "true RPG", where you actually get better as you progress because of real life and in-game experience. The RPG elements are fully fleshed out, experience points, item management, ability points, combos, stats, and gear (there are at least 10 different types of gear your character can wear at the same time, ranging from rings to helmets, each impacting things like Attack Power or Weight).

This also is accompanied by an epic story based on real history, about a poor swordsmith's son who fights his way to the top. Voice acting is superb, graphics look amazing, soundtrack is epic. The developers of this game are also very friendly, promising to release future free content. If you want to scratch that RPG itch, this is the game that will satisfy that need. With over 100 hours of content, you really can't go wrong buying Kingdom Come Deliverance. Stick with it and you will find your money's worth.

While I haven't finished it yet, I marvel at how well they were able to craft a deeply detailed world mixed with a great story all from a brand new developer.

The story itself is not terribly original, but where it shines is in the light of other games. Most RPG gamers are at a point where we are no longer excited about having to save the world for the 100th time, but here, Warhorse isn't trying to sell us on that same drawn on archetype. We are a worthless peasant, trying to make his way in the world, and in that, the game truly shines. I find myself constantly wanting to continue forward and figure out what to do next. I also replay missions in my mind and wonder "what if I did ____ instead of _____." This is where the brilliance of their execution comes into play. Without a doubt, it's the most fun I've had with a game in a long while.

Voice-acting was very good, as good as Fallout RPGs. The quest system is the best I have seen, tho not perfect. Impressive how well thought-out the game was. Only experienced minor bugs. The save-game system is not really a problem once you figure out how to implement it. However, inexperienced or passive gamers might find some aspects of game frustrating, thus mitigating their enjoyment of this gem. The game has so much detail and depth that it can be replayed (using a different style) without any problem. Expand

It takes some time to get used to the game mechanics, otherwise it's super great. I hope M&B Bannerlord will learn from these guys, they sure did a good job in creating this game.

The most immersive, morally challenging and historically interesting game I think I've ever played. The aesthetic of the whole thing compels me even at the 'boring' bits. The combat system forces the player to realistically size up events, instead of running in and mashing buttons or becoming godlike overpowered. Really well optimized and no bugs experienced.

Yes, this game is realistic and hard. But in a positive way! Realism works the way, that you dont have to think about game mechanics, because they work like in real life. And hard gameplay simply doesnt allow you to rush the game - you have to think, be careful and again - play like if it was real. Wonderful!

Its not for everyone though, if you expect handholding, power fantasy elements or completely frustration free experience you should stay off, be warned! This game will punish you, hard and often, but reward is so, so worth it, believe me.
The game itself is worth it for its grounded based story of common man in hard times, and even though set in medieval times, there are many elements modern people can relate to, making it really captivating experience.
There are definitely some technical issues so far, but I am certain they will get patched soon.

Upon the release the PC version is the only reasonable way to enjoy Kingdom Come. And there’s a lot to enjoy, because historically accurate Middle Ages are an awesome setting. The beginning of the game might not be spectacular, but give Deliverance a chance and it will develop into a unique, deep, gripping experience. [04/2018, p.42]

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a different kind. It's incredibly absorbing in its pace, it amazes with a manically detailed medieval era features and a totally true atmosphere, a series of skillfully built quests and, and when you get used to it, a fantastic combat system. There is a one-too-much cliché in the story arc, but the main problem lies in the technical issues. The game is, however, such a remarkable, huge, different and fresh experience that the occasional bug can be simply ignored.
