In all, Kill It With Fire is shockingly fun for its simplicity. A game that wields excessive violence against the spider menace as many have wanted to do for so long, or perhaps at least joked about doing. The environments are very quaint and nice, which makes the surprising amount of destruction gamers can pull off all the more entertaining and appreciated, and the spiders that fill them are smart and sneaky little buggers since they can and will hide behind objects… including debris if gamers are a bit too eager to blow everything sky high. Definitely a worthwhile title if you want to kill some spiders.

This is facile, but in the best way. A big, dumb, silly game of making a giant mess. And that can prove pretty cathartic – getting to smash up stuff is always a fun release. It reminds me of that children’s game show of the early ’90s, Finders Keepers. And who doesn’t want to get to do that? Plus arachnid genocide.

Whilst Kill it With Fire is a short experience, there’s still enough here to justify the budget asking price. It’s the kind of game that you’re unlikely to return to after having completed it, but you probably already expected that. It might not have the legs to be an epic saga, but if you want a few hours of silly enjoyment then you could do a lot worse than picking up this game.

Kill It With Fire is an enjoyable indie game with a fun premise and plenty of destructive toys to deal with the spider threat. However, the game is short and whilst it never overstays its welcome, it can easily be completed in an afternoon and doesn’t have much in the way of content beyond that, aside from some achievement hunting and time killing.

It may be very short, but Kill It with Fire is creative and entertaining all the same. I'll never look at a frying pan the same way again.

A short and sweet distraction, Kill It With Fire is a quirky experiment in overreacting and pest control that will hold your attention for an hour or two.

    Kill it with fire | 2021 | PC | Played for: 3h

    Average silly stupid game.

It is short, and in every aspect hit's right in the middle, not too good not bad either. Physics are really weak and hitbox is all awkward. This game feels like made for VR, if it ever get's ported then maybe it is worth the try, otherwise only worth it if heavily discounted.

Some gamers that get annoyed that some games don't have ultra realistic graphics think that the graphics in this game are bad because the graphics are simplistic, cartoony, and polygonal, but that's not true! The graphics are great even if it's not realistic! The gameplay is also great! The weapons are pretty funny! The ending is logical when you consider the weapons that you use in the game, the omega files are interesting and the secret ending has a nice reference to tinyBuild's first game.
