Aug 27, 2020Kill It With Fire manages to make us feel like it's much more than just a mindless game. It doesn't want to change the world neither wants to be more than an excuse to have a good time. If you like this type of hilarious and destructive sandbox, this game is another good candidate to add to your collection.

Aug 12, 2020It still lacks tension, something that I suspect could be fixed by patching in a hardcore “damage” mode, and spider-hunting is, at its core, repetitive. But Kill It With Fire gives you the resources to turn a mundane activity into glorious, cartoony, house-torching mayhem. Best experienced in short bursts, if you only play one spider-murder sandbox this year, play Kill It With Fire.
-
Aug 11, 2020It is what it is – an effective and stupidly addictive spider-killing and house-smashing game. There is, quite honestly, nothing more to say other than… kill it with fire.

Aug 20, 2020If you’ve got a rainy afternoon and not much to do, Kill It With Fire will slot in nicely for a few hours of entertainment, although there may not be a high degree of replayability if the combat system doesn’t suit your tastes.

Sep 25, 2020If spiders really, really piss you off, Kill it with Fire provides you with some cool and nasty ways to kill them and get yourself some satisfaction. If you don't mind them, don't mind this game either.

CD-ActionNov 16, 2020Kill it With Fire is one of those “so dumb it’s kinda fun” experiences. The game is very simple, intentionally ugly, and unpretentious, which makes killing house spiders with over-the-top weapons (explosives, flame thrower, shotgun, etc.) pretty enjoyable for around two hours. Aug 26, 2020Kill it with Fire serves up a delightful arachnid squishing dish with a side of explosions and mayhem. At the time of the review, however, it was beset by less desirable bugs – not altogether game breaking, but frustrating nonetheless. Otherwise hampered by its lack of content, Kill it with Fire nevertheless entertains quite well.
-
Aug 16, 2020Kill It With Fire can best be summed up as a competent game wrapped around a much stronger premise. Mindless fun can be had, and it should probably be put in front of actual arachnophobes for the most entertaining results (provided, of course, they're up to the effort - the payoff of victory is quite sweet). These spiders need more bite to keep players coming back after squashing them.
