    Kartrider: Drift not only impresses with its stunning visuals and advanced graphic engines, but also inherits the smooth driving sensation developed over 18 years of service by its predecessor. The game offers a variety of customization options for beginners, and is available on multiple platforms. While there may be issues with an unstable network and cheating, players can still enjoy fast-paced racing on both mobile and PC.

    For a full launch, I think there’s plenty of content that’ll keep you entertained. It has a strong driving model with interesting mechanics and plenty of modes to tackle alone, with a pair, or a group of mates. I find KartRider: Drift to be very addicting, seeing as I’ve put well over 50 hours into the game already, I can easily see myself putting more than double over the coming months.

    KartRider: Drift is a fast-paced and fun arcade racing game with plenty of tracks of increasing difficulty, which, however, must be first unlocked. On the other hand, it is more of the same, with no real innovation compared to the genre's cornerstones, such as the Mario Kart franchise. As a free-to-play title, it is definitively worth giving it a chance, all the more so because its monetization system is solely based on cosmetic items that in no way affect the outcome of the races.

    Nexon launches a challenge to Mario Kart with its kart racing arcade in a new fashion. Kartrider: Drift has a substantial package of modes and options to please a wide public, but it's still quite far away from its paradigm.

    Just a Mario cart copycat with customization elements and numerous glitches.

    This game is OK. It has the fast paced, hard to master aspects of Crash Team Racing but the simplicity and vibrancy of Mario Kart. I initiallyThis game is OK. It has the fast paced, hard to master aspects of Crash Team Racing but the simplicity and vibrancy of Mario Kart. I initially gave this game a 10/10 review when it was first released. But, a few seasons later Nexon have added kart upgrades and these weird balloons that you have to pay in game currency for (Thankfully these aren't paid for with real money). These things degrade the experience slightly because the rich can win easily while the poor will alway fail from this point on. I'm concerned about the longievity of this game, however, as barely anyone from the West is even interested in starting a match anymore. Plus, I'm afraid that the upgrades will eventually become real world transactions. If you hate the free to play model of gaming, watch your step with this one. Also watch yours, Nexon, as if the upgrades become too predatory you won't have a fanbase anymore to save your a$$.… Full Review »
