    The good:
    The game is free and easy to get into if you've played other cart racing games.
    You can customize your cart with decals and wraps which is fun. Characters are cute, and there are plenty to choose from. Matchmaking takes no time at all, once you are ready there's a game waiting for you. The game runs smoothly without hiccups or crashes. There's enough racing modes to keep    The good:
    The game is free and easy to get into if you've played other cart racing games.

    Matchmaking takes no time at all, once you are ready there's a game waiting for you.
    The game runs smoothly without hiccups or crashes.
    There's enough racing modes to keep you busy.

    The bad:
    It's still a game as a service.
    The items during team races can still hurt your teammates.
    On that note, some items need to be balanced.
    There's not many maps, maybe 4 from what I've seen. 8 would have been perfect.
    Drifting is probably the worst par about racing...and it's in the name.
    Redeeming Prime Rewards is a nightmare.

    Overall: it's a good free game, if you don't have a Nintendo product and want to play a kart racer, this is worth the time.    … Expand

    This game is OK. It has the fast paced, hard to master aspects of Crash Team Racing but the simplicity and vibrancy of Mario Kart. I initially gave this game a 10/10 review when it was first released. But, a few seasons later Nexon have added kart upgrades and these weird balloons that you have to pay in game currency for (Thankfully these aren't paid for with real money). These thingsThis game is OK. It has the fast paced, hard to master aspects of Crash Team Racing but the simplicity and vibrancy of Mario Kart. I initially gave this game a 10/10 review when it was first released. But, a few seasons later Nexon have added kart upgrades and these weird balloons that you have to pay in game currency for (Thankfully these aren't paid for with real money). These things degrade the experience slightly because the rich can win easily while the poor will alway fail from this point on. I'm concerned about the longievity of this game, however, as barely anyone from the West is even interested in starting a match anymore. Plus, I'm afraid that the upgrades will eventually become real world transactions. If you hate the free to play model of gaming, watch your step with this one. Also watch yours, Nexon, as if the upgrades become too predatory you won't have a fanbase anymore to save your a$$.… Expand

    Matchmaking is absolutely good, and I can find no items which I can get by paying some money. It's free!

    A free and pretty nice Martio Kart like.
    Its not a Nintendo product/kart racer, but still fun.

    A unique Kart racing game. Same genre but kinda hard-core and skill-based; The game's mostly about how well you use the drift.

    A game that is degraded than beta.
    The high speed and easy-to-get boosters in the CBT 2nd round disappeared, leaving only slow speed and hard-to-get boosters. Nitro Studio has no idea what the strengths of Kartrider: Drift are.

    For a full launch, I think there’s plenty of content that’ll keep you entertained. It has a strong driving model with interesting mechanics and plenty of modes to tackle alone, with a pair, or a group of mates. I find KartRider: Drift to be very addicting, seeing as I’ve put well over 50 hours into the game already, I can easily see myself putting more than double over the coming months.

    KartRider: Drift is a fast-paced and fun arcade racing game with plenty of tracks of increasing difficulty, which, however, must be first unlocked. On the other hand, it is more of the same, with no real innovation compared to the genre's cornerstones, such as the Mario Kart franchise. As a free-to-play title, it is definitively worth giving it a chance, all the more so because its monetization system is solely based on cosmetic items that in no way affect the outcome of the races.

    Nexon launches a challenge to Mario Kart with its kart racing arcade in a new fashion. Kartrider: Drift has a substantial package of modes and options to please a wide public, but it's still quite far away from its paradigm.
