    Jalopy is an ok game, but it sorely lacks in gameplay. This game was in early access for a long time (4-5 years), It was very slow in progression and with little substance to back up the game. There is a story, but it is not very well presented, it feels like a demo instead of a full game.

    In Jalopy you drive cross country in Germany, in Laika 600 Deluxe. The car is trash it’s    Jalopy is an ok game, but it sorely lacks in gameplay. There is a story, but it is not very well presented, it feels like a demo instead of a full game.

    In Jalopy you drive cross country in Germany, in Laika 600 Deluxe. The car is trash it’s everything sucks, but you can buy upgrades for the car and extras to help with maintenance, and storage. The main flaw is the procedural generation. Each time you play the road will be different, but it is actually big chunks of the same map just repeated or in a different order. You’ll often see the same roads over and over as you play through the same routes.

    There is a very shallow navigation system in that, you pick a route and some will have different weather or it’ll just be longer with dumb obstacles that repeat themselves over and over.

    Overall this game is repetitive and boring, with very little substance to fill the long gaps of boring silence and darkness.    … Expand

    Jalopy is a game that keeps you on your feet always, even while sitting in your car. The game involves transporting your uncle all the way to Turkey in a beaten up car. It's up to you to try and keep the car running, otherwise you will need to start again. Each time you attempt the run you'll learn new tricks, gain new upgrades and maybe one day you'll finally reach the destination.

    As someone who enjoyed playing games like Euro Truck Simulator I found this game very fun. So if you're a fan of similar games like that you'll probably enjoy Jalopy as well. I've seen this game go through early access up to the final release but I've got to say it still has it's bugs. I expected that the bugs would have been squashed after being in early access for as long as it was. It's like they left it behind as it is. The graphics aren't anything special, but in a way they do feel somewhat unique to the game. Soundtrack was pretty cool, listening to it all on the radio as I battled the hills.

    After beating the game I am now in the process of speedrunning it and attempting to get the world record, wish me luck.    … Expand

    i wish more games had repairable and realistic vehicles like this, thats pretty great. but in the end this game is pretty boring and has a bland world

    Bom de fato Jalopy é um jogo um tanto quanto interessante, que basicamente sem dar nenhum spoiler conta a história de um viajante e seu carro, Laika 601, o jogo é um road trip com pegadas de aventura ele conta com um cenário não tão rico em referências (na minha opinião isso deveria ser o ponto forte do jogo), porém claro o jogo definitivamente conta com muitas referências se comparado comBom de fato Jalopy é um jogo um tanto quanto interessante, que basicamente sem dar nenhum spoiler conta a história de um viajante e seu carro, Laika 601, o jogo é um road trip com pegadas de aventura ele conta com um cenário não tão rico em referências (na minha opinião isso deveria ser o ponto forte do jogo), porém claro o jogo definitivamente conta com muitas referências se comparado com outros Road Trips ou até mesmo com jogos triple A, então para mim isso não é o motivo de não comprar o jogo, se você gosta de Road Trips com pegadas de aventura e um sistema de venda e compra de produtos que vai de gasolina a um novo motor para o seu "calhambeque", um tanto quanto interessante esse jogo é para você e é claro arte do jogo é bem simples e isso é o que o torna de certa forma especial já que a trilha sonora na minha humilde opinião é muito boa e ela que te força a continuar vagando pelo grande mundo gerado "aleatoriamente" de Jalopy, o principal motivo da minha nota ser apenas sete é porque o jogo peca um pouco no quesito de jogabilidade e tem diversos bugs como por exemplo em alguns locais do mapa o pneu pode simplesmente ficar preso esse foi o meu caso quando joguei, isso também não seria motivo de não comprar o jogo aqui no Brasil atualmente na loja da steam o jogo está por R$ 28,99, de fato se eu fosse você esperaria um pouco por alguma promoção já que mesmo o jogo sendo na minha opinião muito bom esse preço de fato é um pouco "carro" para o que o jogo realmente da mas de fato o jogo consertou muitos bugs desde quando foi lançado e isso pode dizer que a empresa responsável "Excalibur Games" mesmo sendo pequena se preocupa com os jogadores e isso é um dos pontos fortes do jogo.
    Então resumindo o jogo é muito bom, porém ele não vale o preço já que depois de um tempo ele começa a ficar enjoativo porém para as primeiras horas de jogatina tenho certeza que se você for fan de Road Trips vai curtir esse jogo simples mas com uma pegada de complexidade por trás da história do jogo (A história não é tão profunda e se quebra no meio do jogo e esse é um dos principais motivos de eu ter dado a nota 7 ao invés de 8, porém é claro ele tem uma história que agrada o jogador por um bom tempo).    … Expand

    Мне понравился игровой процесс, держать лайку в рабочем состоянии весело, управление инвентарем в порядке. Сюжет игры так себе, но это совсем не важно. Звуковое сопровождение классное (не забудьте включить радио)!.

    Just like the real car, Jalopy teaches you to always be collected. If you leave your engine running while you’re rummaging through the roadside junk for stuff to sell – it can easily burn through half of your gas. And if you run out of fuel and have to walk to the nearest gas station – don’t forget to take your wallet with you, or your day will get much, much worse. [Issue#230, p.58]

    Jalopy is a game with very interesting ideas but a very poor execution. We'd like to think the biggest issues are going to be fixed –then it'll be a game you should try.
