    Jalopy is an ok game, but it sorely lacks in gameplay. This game was in early access for a long time (4-5 years), It was very slow inJalopy is an ok game, but it sorely lacks in gameplay. This game was in early access for a long time (4-5 years), It was very slow in progression and with little substance to back up the game. There is a story, but it is not very well presented, it feels like a demo instead of a full game.

    In Jalopy you drive cross country in Germany, in Laika 600 Deluxe. The car is trash it’s everything sucks, but you can buy upgrades for the car and extras to help with maintenance, and storage. The main flaw is the procedural generation. Each time you play the road will be different, but it is actually big chunks of the same map just repeated or in a different order. You’ll often see the same roads over and over as you play through the same routes.

    There is a very shallow navigation system in that, you pick a route and some will have different weather or it’ll just be longer with dumb obstacles that repeat themselves over and over.

    Jalopy is a great nostalgia trip and the mood of the game is amazing. I really liked the gameplay, it's fun to keep the Laika running, theJalopy is a great nostalgia trip and the mood of the game is amazing. I really liked the gameplay, it's fun to keep the Laika running, the inventory management is alright, but the driving could have been more refined. The story of the game is so-so, but it's not essential at all. The soundtrack is awesome (don't forget to turn on the radio!).

    On the downside: There are bugs. A lot of them, some are unfortunatly game breaking. If some of them were fixed I would give this game a 9, but it's an 8 for now.    … Full Review »

    O čem je tato hra? Jednoduše, máté svého "trabanta" a jezíde po světě.

    Předem jedno varování, tahle hraje ve velmi předběžném přístupu takže s tím že by jste si hodiny a hodiny jezdili po světě? Ne.
    Hru jsem zakoupil prakticky na začátku vývoji. Trochu mne zklamalo že v tu dobu jste mohli projet jen dvěmi státi což bylo Německo a ČSFR, ale postupně se zde přidávají země apod. Což je prsotě super.

    Jednoduše, jezdíe po světě s trabantem, s trabantem který si můžete upravit podle vašich přání, nejvíce se mi líbí styl hry, je jednoduchý a krásný, když jedete Německem,ČSFR, Maďarskem, je to takový že vám všechno připadá stejný, ale pak přijde Jugoslavie, prostě krása.
    Nejlepší zážitek je když si jedete po ČSFR a jste uprostřed ničeho a najednou vám váš trabant zastaví a vy netušíte co s ním je. Tak tam 10 minut hledáte problém. Až potí jsem zjistil že benzín je trochu duležitý, hlavně kanistr sebou. Nebo když vám to prsotě za žádnou cenu nechce nastarvoat ... Baterka...    … Full Review »
