Jul 22, 2023Absolutely bloody yes!
As a veteran of the Jagged Alliance series I can totally say this is the sequel I was waiting 22 years for.
I love it! Spent 70+ hours straight since it launched and I can't get enough.
My expectations were low, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they did a good one this time around!
11/10 - Igor Dolvich make uncle proud! -

Aug 19, 2023Although this is the best JA since the second part, the game has gone too far from the original series, having lost the specific black humor, lore and characters history and having too casual mechanics. This is not the JA that I replayed three times and which is rightfully considered one of the most realistic and well-developed military-tactical RPGs in the history of games.

Jul 21, 2023This is an arcade for children compared to the ja2 almost all the functionality for which I loved ja2 is removed. If you like this game, then you have not played ja2.

Aug 30, 2023This is not a Jagged Aliance game. It's a modern xcom clone which has no idea what made the originals special.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 22, 2024Sandy beaches are followed by jungles, wetlands, bunkers, shacks and city streets, different environments and different materials mean differences in gameplay. The weather changes too, you aim differently during the day than at night, and so on. But the dialogue feels so heavy-handed in its exposition and so superficial in the game's non-linear construction that one hardly wants to engage with it any longer than necessary. [Issue#329]

Sep 20, 2023Like some of these mercs, Jagged Alliance 3 can be a bit rough around the edges, but when the chips are down there’s no question it delivers. This is an easy recommendation for players who enjoy the genre, especially since it’s been 24 years since the last mainline entry in the series. With addictive gameplay, a great cast of characters, and tongue-in-cheek dialogue, liberating this island is a mission worth accepting.

Sep 10, 2023Jagged Alliance 3 is a wise pick in the tactical game genre, despite some balancing issues. The game delivers fun from start to finish, serving as a genuine tribute to the action cinema of the '80s and '90s. You almost expect to see Stallone and Schwarzenegger pop up at the start of each mission. It's entertaining, aesthetically polished, and above all, it's exhilarating.
