    The Lost Gods prove that Immortals Fenyx Rising can work in more than one way, this time with a new camera angle. The story of this DLC does not take many risks, but it turns out to be an entertaining story that fans of the new Ubisoft franchise can enjoy.

    The Lost Gods is the third and final DLC for Immortals Fenyx Rising. While it introduces new perspectives and mechanics, it doesn't exactly come together into a cohesive whole. It's commendable what The New Gods is going for, but this isn't something most people will be interested in unless they're very interested in seeing the story of Immortals Fenyx Rising through to the end.

    Crafting a dungeon-crawler in the world of Immortals Fenyx Rising is a great idea, but the dev team behind The Lost Gods DLC didn't meet that goal. They nailed the look but completely missed on the gameplay. As a result, The Lost Gods feels like a mishmash of ideas without mastering any of them.

    This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. I appreciate what they're trying, but several things really didn't work. Not being able to heal in battle, no sprinting, having to grind materials to fast travel (especially when you're going through vaults for Hades and have to bounce around the map. The top-down just doesn't work with the climbing and platforming you have to do. Plus, all the combat was basically reduced to "every combat needs to have at least 15 enemies." The difficulty overall stays relatively fair almost the whole DLC, but then then the final boss is just such a leap forward, and you can't even leave the vault on your own. If you need to go back and prepare more for the fight, you have to shut down the game.… Full Review »

    Absolutely disappointed in this DLC. I loved the main game and other DLC's, the top down camera view isn't well suited to this game, I like toAbsolutely disappointed in this DLC. I loved the main game and other DLC's, the top down camera view isn't well suited to this game, I like to look at the scenery and take in the amazing views but all I can see in this game is the floor which isn't very visually pleasing. It would have been better to put in the option of a different camera angle so everyone can play their preferred style. It doesn't fit well with the game mechanics e.g. climbing up mountains, I cannot see how tall the mountain is so cannot jugde whether to climb it or not. I cannot see where enemies are so stealth attacks are rendered impossible. I tried playing it to see if I could get used to it but I just can't, I feel so disappointed. I had really high hopes for this DLC, please UBISOFT, update it so we can change the camera angle.… Full Review »
