    El castillo de Hogwarts es una maravilla y he disfrutado mucho explorándolo. Eso lo mejor que tiene. El combate es entretenido en cierto modo. Me ha gustado bastante. Al igual que la Sala de los Menesteres.

    Lo malo:
    La historia es aburrida y a los personajes les falta algo. La progresión del personaje solo sirve para el combate, lo cual me ha decepcionado un poco. No tomas decisiones sobre nada y no hay diferentes caminos para la historia. No encarnas a tu propio personaje, es solo estético. Los desafíos no son nada interesantes. Se hace repetitivo.

    So basically it's a perfect example of a game with amazing atmosphere, art, and design but with no narrative whatsoever. The game feels kinda empty with that weird plot, lack of emotions, and underdeveloped characters... Like an attraction for wizarding world fans and nothing more (but no surprise here from a studio that never developed a good game so far).
    Overall, that's an OK    So basically it's a perfect example of a game with amazing atmosphere, art, and design but with no narrative whatsoever.     Jogo é muito divertido, realmente te coloca na pele de um aluno de hogwarts, batalhas são divertidas mas não muito desafiadoras, exploração brilha! como é divertido sair pelos cantos de hogwarts e arredores, pegar a varinha ou grifo e sair viajando pelo mundo

    A good attempt of capturing the magic of Hogwarts in an open world RPG. At a first take the game falls foul of a seemingly lifeless open world in the early game but becomes much more expansive and immersive as you are encouraged to explore further afield.     Las impresiones que causa este juego son que parece que en un principio se iba a llamar "videojuego genérico de escuela de magia para móvil con grinding infinito y micro pagos", pero alguien decidió aportar dinero al proyecto y licencias oficiales de Harry Potter para su desarrollo.

    Si eres fan de Harry Potter tendrás algunas horas de asombro y disfrute con el mundo mágico y sobre todo con el mapa de Hogwarts, pero según avancen las horas veras como esta ilusión se desvanece para dejarnos en otro juego genérico de Ubisoft, con rasgos de juego freemium para móvil y con cientos de iconos en el mapa que no sirven más que para rellenar.    … Expand

    Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. It was a rather bland game for me. I wish the battles were a little more diverse. You get more pleasure after the middle of the game, but you continue to get the same pleasure until the end of the game.

    Almost excellent game. Gameplay-mechanics and the world design - superb. Music, atmosphere, immersion and exploring in this game is pure bliss. Lots and lots of little lore-accurate details, fun easter eggs and all-around unique charm that only the wizarding world has (and which the later movies lacked). The setting (year 1890) is interesting, and the acting is solid.

    Puzzles... some    Almost excellent game. Gameplay-mechanics and the world design - superb. Music, atmosphere, immersion and exploring in this game is pure bliss. Lots and lots of little lore-accurate details, fun easter eggs and all-around unique charm that only the wizarding world has (and which the later movies lacked). The setting (year 1890) is interesting, and the acting is solid.

    Puzzles... some work, and some are too easy. Most puzzles are repeated too many times. Would've wanter more variety in these, the mechanics and spell combinations would allow for more varied puzzles in difficulty and execution, and I hope this is something they add later on in a DLC.

    Bosses are underwhelming. First few were a copy/paste same fight, and the only good boss with fun and engaging mechanics was the very last one. Though the last boss was good, it didn't feel like the final boss of a game - more like a lead-up to it.

    Main villains weren't much of a fight, and were mostly relegated as mid-bosses with endless adds. The environments in these fights were uninspired, and lacked any opportunity to utilize the surroundings for different tactics, other than the repetitive crowd control you spend most of the game using.

    The story is is another weakness in this game. Its build-up is good, but the resolution comes suddenly bringing the main story to an abrupt end. After completing the main story, there's little to no reason to stick around doing side quests and explore more of the map. Which is a shame, since the world is Beautiful with a Capitol B, and immersive.

    I'll raise my score if they deliver a good DLC, but for now it's a very solid 7.
    Or if they give me quidditch, it's an automatic 10.    … Expand

    Il gioco semplicememte o piace o non piace secondo me e non ci sono vie di mezzo in questo caso.
    Parlando oggettivamente troviamo invece un ottimo comparto grafico con un mondo vivo, definito e pulsante, ricco di dettagli.
    Ottimo il doppiaggio e veramente ben fatto il sonoro, combat system gratificante e divertente, mappa veramente enorme e molto ben fatta, vario nelle missioni sia principali che secondarie e opzionali considerando collezionabili e non.
    Ricco nell'esplorazione e nelle meccaniche secondo me, si va dallo scassinare, al creare, all'esplorare, al combattere fino al volare, al giocare con gli animali, al risolvere enigmi all'imparare magie e pozioni.
    Estremamente longevo, parliamo di circa 80 ore per il completamento.
    Un gioco che va apprezzato e premiato per la cura maniacale con cui è stato fatto.
    Lati negativi secondo me la storia banalotta, le animazioni facciali non al livello della cura dei volti dei personaggi e un inizio un po' lento.
    Dispiace per la poca ortimizzazione lato pc che non riesce a spremere le gpu come dovrebbe e quindi limitando le performance delle gpu.
    Il gioco non è leggero graficamente ma fosse stato ottimizzato meglio sarebbe sicuramente girato con più leggerezza.
    Gioco da 10 per gli amanti della saga e degli apen world azione/avventuta, gioco da 9 per chi apprezza la saga e per coloro che apprezzano gli open world, gioco da 8 in giù per tutti gli altri.    … Expand

    I'm not even a Harry Potter or RPG fan but I loved the explanation and the open world! The graphics are beautiful and the setting is true to the movie. And one of the coolest experiences in the game, instead of using the broom you get the hipogrifo

A beautifully crafted Hogwarts experience with Witcher-level attention to detail. Some technical issues with framerate and some minor bugs but it didn't detract from the fun.

    The world is pretty well made and full of little details, flying around with the broom is really magical. But there's not a lot of bosses, the side missions are kinda boring, and the fast travel does not works sometimes.

I enjoyed my time with this game, the graphics are one of the best ive seen, the world ESPECIALLY hogwarts castle is marvellous, they got that really bang on, nailed it in every aspect. Walking around the castle and having a whimsical feel of magic and wonder around you ishogwarts legacy is the definitive game to get for a harry potter /fantastic beasts fan, it is great at what it does. I enjoyed my time with this game, the graphics are one of the best ive seen, the world ESPECIALLY hogwarts castle is marvellous, they got that really bang on, nailed it in every aspect. Walking around the castle and having a whimsical feel of magic and wonder around you is truly not replicable in other games because other games dont do harry potter like this game does. Walking to and from class, learning new spells, talking to your npc friends, it is super immersive while you are in the hogwarts castle. Hogsmeade is also a treat to explore, fans will recognise many familar places from the movies. The fan service is really done super super well, i must praise them alot for this. Thumbs up. You can even have a pet farm where you can rear animals and make spells, this is like so cool to do in the game, well done.

    However the game is far from perfect!
    as a video game fan, i could easily tell the game fails to really innovate or broaden our expectations of what a modern open world can do, it gets boring very quickly as you do endless fetch quests (while riding various mounts which are quite fun to do ngl, only thing keeping me from falling asleep while doing side quests), the combat is the most basic in a video game ever, every single enemy can be killed with the simple spell you get at the start. The illusion really breaks once you leave the castle and hogsmeade because the world doesnt have much to offer at all. The repeated dialogue is really annoying also. Towards the end, the game can start to feel quite repetitive and dry, with a run of the mill good vs evil storyline, which when considering the audience of the game might include younger klds, its fine i guess,, but story does not stand out and repetitive missions are unwelcome and distasteful.
    Hogwarts Legacy is great at what it does and it really shows, but the game could use some fine tuning such as stronger story and expanded open world concepts.    … Expand

    so surprised at how well the story is written. so many times i found myself going ah i remember this place from the movies. i usually skip dialog in games to just play. but i found myself watching all cut scenes and story. bravo

    The game is filled with soul and details. It's a really awesome piece of art. It has some performance issues, but I'm sure they will fix those. I'm loving it as a person who never watched or read one single HP movie/book, so it's a great entertainment as a standalone game too.

    First, engine problems: Yes, thats true, if you paid 1500 or more for your 3080ti at the hight of the corona virus, and are now disappointed that your card can't handle all ultra max out graphics with raytracing    I will take Horizon Zero Dawn 1 & 2, Cyberpunk, The Witcher 3, The last of us as a reference and also some reviews i read, and will highlight 4 main points i found important.

    Yes, thats true, if you paid 1500 or more for your 3080ti at the hight of the corona virus, and are now disappointed that your card can't handle all ultra max out graphics with raytracing 1440p and DLSS activated then i share the same feeling with you. It is still too early to say if its gonna stay like this but to give it 1-5 points reviews because of this, is a bad critic i think. The game is perfectly playable for the most part, even tho it has some glitches here and there, but comparing it to the other games i mentioned at release, it plays like a charm.
    7 Points.

    Second, characters:
    Characters are vivid. It's not the same like the last of us 2, but it is comparable to Horizon, and i'm talking about face expression and not the color choice and the ambiance. Fact is, it's the same story as always, the game got overhyped and people thought this would be a real life simulation. Expectations are always too high and then the game get bad reviews because of feelings. Thats humankind for you.
    8 points.

    Third, World building:
    Fantastic, and with some dlc's in the future i will only get better.
    10 points.

    Fourth, lore:
    If you bought this game knowing the world of harry potter then it's gonna be like a dream come true to you. If you're new to this world, it's actually even better, cause there is plenty of lore to dive in. It's deep. Not as deep as Starwars or lord of the rings but still plenty.
    9 Points.

    After completing the game with %100 and achieving all steam achievements I can say that, for a studio which did not established just big as that one before, they did a impressive job. For sure there are things could be better and things that feels absent but still this game is a huge success.     The game is very well composed with emotional music and beautiful scenery but I can't help but be disappointed that the graphics on pc aren't as straight forward as I hoped. If you don't have the best computer in the world you have to spend a good portion of your time in the settings messing around with the graphics.     Great game overall. It has so much content, which provides total immersion in the universe. However, there are a few downsides, in my opinion:
    1) The plot is mediocre, with no unexpected turns. At least they could have added more character deaths like in the movies.

    3) The leveling system and economy feel too similar to Ubisoft's style. I didn't really like it, especially the gear system. However, the gear upgrading is ok as it is tied to another game system.
    4) The game becomes extremely easy with proper upgrades and spell sets. Even at the hard difficulty level, the fights become effortless. I was somewhat disappointed to finish all the main quests without unlocking the unforgivable curses, which can only be unlocked through side quests. This is not really a spoiler, if you don't like playing side quests as me and want to unlock the unforgivable curses, you'd better check a guide.    … Expand

    Fan service versus good service.
    The proposal of Hogwarts Legacy is to take the fan of the Harry Potter saga to the world he fell in love with. The game gives you all the references of the books and movies, besides touching on interesting points of the secret histories of the wizarding world.     The proposal of Hogwarts Legacy is to take the fan of the Harry Potter saga to the world he fell in love with. The game gives you all the references of the books and movies, besides touching on interesting points of the secret histories of the wizarding world. The fan of the famous saga will certainly feel pleased to pay 70 dollars to enter even more prolonged into the universe of magic they have always loved. Mainly because the Harry Potter fan does not need to be a "gamer". He doesn't need to know what an "RPG" or an "action game" is, he just wants to enjoy his enchanted wand while casting an "Avada Kedavra" against an enemy. There is no problem with that. However, for the slightly more conscientious "gamer" who doesn't usually tear up money, the $70 was expensive. Anyone who has seriously played a good RPG will not be able to love Hogwarts Legacy, a work that is a kind of shoddy copy of The Witcher 3 (2015). Besides being dated in many ways (from the graphics, to the characters' expressions, to the gameplay itself), the game fails to reach the level of detail required for a AAA, even when compared to "Skyrim" (2011). It's not hard, for a "gamer" with some background, to realize how Skyrim's quest system is infinitely more consistent than that of Hogwarts Legacy. It would even be mean to compare it to Rockstar's titles. GTA V (2013) and Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018) are frighteningly more imposing, interesting and consistent than the Warner Bros. game. With several quests with puny, tiresome and/or repetitive objectives, our character almost never faces real challenges. Moreover, other premises of RPGs are neglected: the background of our character basically does not exist; our actions and choices serve no purpose, they do not make a significant impact on the world (it is not even possible to be a dark wizard!!!); our house has no influence on the story; and the most shocking of all is that the world simply does not respond to our actions. Skyrim, in 2011, introduced a "revenge" system that consisted of mercenaries trying to kill us under contract if we had murdered some loved one of some other character. And that's just one example! Hogwarts Legacy is a mediocre game that will mean little or almost nothing to gaming posterity, if not as an example of "fan service", and nothing more. I thought the release date was much further away, so I only discovered it one month before release, and my interest started to grow slowly. After getting my hands on it, here are my thoughts:

    The beginning of the game is not its strong point, especially if you expect something like the movies. But the more you play, the better the game becomes.

    The main story was okay, but what really got me into the game were the relationship quests and how they were connected to the main storyline. Unfortunately, the influence of these quests - in the consequences factor - was literally irrelevant, but the atmosphere was there. The development of the characters could have been better, but following them on their journey was good enough. I also loved the way the developers approached the houses. In the movies, besides Gryffindor, most characters were one-dimensional and behaved according to the stereotypes of their houses. That's not the case here. As a critic, I must say that the conclusion of those side quests could be more unpredictable. Actually, I could say that about all of the main quest storylines.

    Is the game difficult? It depends. It can be, but it's up to you. I played on hard and chose to use the minimum amount of potions as possible, including life. That way, three hits and I was dead. After getting used to the spells and the enemies, it becomes okay. All I needed was to understand the weaknesses of my opponents and pay attention.

    Hogwarts is beautiful. Not as magical as in the movies, but pretty good. Exploring it is rewarding, and the way the developers placed chests and challenges was amazing. The open world surprised me a lot. I didn't expect such a huge place, with so many possibilities for exploration. Another thing that made me love this game was how much content is in it. A good example is the Room of Requirement. I lost count of how many times I thought it was over, but no, they just throw more and more content at you - and that happened even in the last stages of the game. Amazing. You know when you're playing a game that was made with love.

    But there's something I still haven't talked about, and it can be a game-breaker for a lot of people: the optimization.

    It's broken. I had to spend hours looking for mods to fix the game. After trying many of them, I found one: Ascendio 3.0. If it weren't for that, I wouldn't be writing this review, so a huge thanks to the modders. With the mod, I played the game with 45 fps locked at 1080p, with most settings on high. And it was beautiful - but obviously not as much as the requirements to play it suggest, since 16GB of RAM is not enough without a mod. Overall, I'm happy with the game. There's so much to talk about, but I'm getting tired of writing. I do recommend it, but be aware of its optimization problems. Maybe in a year, it will be playable without mods - but if you have a console, you can disregard this.

    Hogwarts Legacy has so many positives that you would think it's one of the best games ever made, I could easily name 10 other details that I really enjoyed but, instead of this being a 10/10 masterpiece, it ended up a 8 out of 10 because of one word: repetition. After 20 hours or so of playing all the side quests and exploring the fun mechanics, you start to get extremely bored due to the fact that each side mission and objective become the exact same sequence.
    Let us take the caves for example, the first few times you enter a cave the puzzles are fun and the combat is fresh, but after 5 or 6 of them you notice how blatantly repetitive the game is.
    The combat is this game became so boring due to the lack of different enemies, you would see spiders mostly in caves, goblins everywhere and the other enemies were seen only a few times here and there, I did say the combat was good but even too much of a good thing becomes boring. This repetitiveness doesn't only apply to the combat, the side quests are all basically the same schematic, the dialogue starts to get annoying as every character has to have way too many meaningless conversations, puzzles are not fun after you do the same puzzle just in a different combination for 20 side quests.

    The story was alright all in all, nothing that blew me away but not bad either.
    I do want to also point out that the customization was top tier, I spent a lot of time choosing the perfect attire and getting chests so that I could unlock new items.

    All in all this game could have been an all time great if there was more diversity in the gameplay. I hope the studio makes another open world game such as this one (possibly a sequel)    … Expand

    Additionally, I was disappointed by the similarity in the flow of events and the characters between the houses. I wasn't expecting an RPG standard like Fallout, but I expected an experience where the same locations would change with different scenarios, similar to what we saw in Cyberpunk. Unfortunately, these expectations were not met, and this aspect of the game was not very satisfying for me.

    I had dreamed of exploring Hogwarts from within and unraveling the mysteries of the castle for years. However, I couldn't find enough mystery and location-based narrative in the game. Outside of Hogwarts castle, there were wizards in yellow tents and a gypsy aesthetic, but I couldn't find the gothic and grotesque aesthetics in the interiors. While it was wonderfully recreated when viewed from the outside, it lacked the magical and visual narrative that I expected in the indoor areas.

    The game turned into RPG chores at some point, and I found its story to be weak. The beginning of the story was quite promising, but it felt rushed to bring it to a quick conclusion. This negatively affected the overall experience of the game.

    In addition to these points, I liked the card and reward mechanism. This mechanism makes the game more exciting and motivating.

    In conclusion, Hogwarts Legacy was a game I enjoyed despite some disappointments. I expected more event combinations and different scenarios tied to the houses in the game. Additionally, I hoped to find more mystery and gothic aesthetics within the castle. However, some features like the card and reward mechanism caught my interest. The game's story, on the other hand, felt a bit weak.     I can't complete this game. The first 15/20 hours are amazing. Then, you are left with no more spells to learn, maybe a few new animals to catch, and the emptiness of a map loaded with those boring as hell Merlin's trials. Technically is good, mechanics are kinda interesting, but after 20 hours into the game, i just can't play for more than 5 minutes withouth getting bored.

    The Game is an open world RPG with a create-your-own protagonist and it's one of the best RPG's of this kind I've ever played. Exploring Hogwarts is genuinely some of the most fun you'll have in a game like this, and exploring the Scottish Highlands outside of Hogwarts is just as exciting. It's a game that can fill you with child-like wonder.

    The main story is rather decent, it's strong enough that it doesn't feel like a slog and keeps you interested in what's going to happen next. The main story is effectively split into two paths which naturally converge over the course of the game, the first being that you're following the steps of another Wizard from hundreds of years ago and the other basically being a Goblin Rebellion-type. However for me, the best story-telling in this game isn't the main story at all, even if it is rather good.

    For me, the best story telling is about the friends you meet along the way. There are three which basically take you all the way to the end of the game in long extended storylines which are interesting enough that if the game decided to more linear, they could've used any one of these storylines and it would have been great. The Slytherin friend storyline is definitely my favourite out of those ones. However there are a lot of different side quests dotted around the map, helping younger students, citizens of Hogsmeade, treasure maps. There is a lot to do in this game.

    The combat is fantastic. I expected it to be weird and clunky, as someone who has played a lot of third person shooters and other types of fighting games, the idea of fighting with a wand seemed, for lack of a better word, lame and uninspired. Again, I'll admit I was wrong. The combat is so satisfying and it doesn't last long enough to feel tedious. It's short bursts of combo'ing your spells together, the animation balance of it all chaining together is extremely entertaining to witness. There are a multitude of spells to choose from, each having their own category and doing different things. Pick what suits you best.

    I'd say the only little gripe I had about the game, was in relation to some of the side quests. If you go too hard on exploration of ruins and other dungeon-esque environments, you'll end up doing the full thing, which is fine. You might pick up a weird item or defeat a boss which is to be expected. Then, hours later, a side quest will open up where the quest giver will ask you to do basically what you already did. And after you receive the quest, after you are done talking to them, the next part of the quest is to return to them. It kind of stopped me from exploring as much as I should have, in fear that I'd either need to return to a place I'd already been to, or by spoiling a side-quest storyline by having already done the location in question.

    You can customise your character to a good degree, initially you create their race, facial features etc, but the best part comes from the outstanding amount of outfits you can have. You can wear your Hogwarts cloak and uniform, a Highland Uniform, general clothing, scarfs, no scarfs, glasses, wizard hats, top hats. It's brilliant. I changed my outfit constantly during the game just so I always felt fresh.

    Overall, Hogwarts Legacy is one of the best games created in its genre, everyone should play this, if you like Harry Potter, play it, if you like Open World RPG's, play it. If you just like good video games in general. Play it. It's a truly remarkable experience that will keep you at your desk for hours just admiring all it has to offer. 9/10.    … Expand

    I enjoyed this game much more than I anticipated. The story is nothing groundbreaking, but it does its job. However, it is quite questionable how we can use unforgivable curses without consequences. Also, Sebastian, I like you but you're also an ass, and you need to face some consequences for your actions.

    -Puzzles sections are sometimes ok, sometimes so obvious! And of course if you don't solve them in 1 minute the main character will say something that tells you what to do so no brain required at all.
    -Combat is so and so. It is challenging and perhaps someone will like it.

    Very fun game. The graphics are breath taking, flying in this world is beautiful or wandering through the forest etc. You get the feeling of a living world with lots of magic in it. The mini games and riddles are also fun, though I must say, that the story could be better. It does have it's moments, but I feel like it wasted a bit potential here and there.

    For someone who loves Harry lore, this games is what we all have been waiting for. Gourgues locations, fun battles, mounts, even finding puzzles, and all sort of stuff was fun for me even though I am not a big fun of achievements. Not a perfect 10 because game gets worse at the end.

    The environment is beautiful and the castle feels grand and alive, on the other hand the gameplay is extremely repetitive and the side activities are just copy and pasted all over the map

    Hogwarts legacy is an amazing RPG. It is a perfect game for all Harry Potter fans. You can do so much in this game. The game itself looks amazing and the designs are flawless and full of details. I'd recomend this game to play for everyone

Il gioco è fantastico:il paesaggio di hogwarts è stupendo,i nemici e i personaggi hanno un character design veramente ben fatto e,da amante di Harry Potter,nn potevo nn adorare tutti gli ester eggs rivolti alla storica saga.A me però,nn è mai piaciuto Il protagonista:Harry.Quindi il fatto che il personaggio poteva essere scelto dal giocatore mi ha intrigato ancora di più.Il mondo è liberamente esplorabile ed è arricchito da molti avamposti e dungeon nemici.Poi ovviamente la cosa più magica di questo gioco è esplorare la mappa con la scopa e l'ippogrifo;solo che ho trovato qualche difficoltà a manovrare la scopa volante.Gli incatesimi sono tutti molto utili e potrete decidere se sbloccare anche le magie senza perdono.Però purtroppo,c'è una storia molto moscia,con dialoghi alla horaizon e molte missioni ripetitive.Oppure nn ci si lega per niente ai personaggi infatti.ALLERTA SPOILER!!Quando il nostro "maestro" muore alla fine del gioco,sinceramente nn ci sono rimasto male per niente.Cmq anche il combattimento risulta fluido e zone come la camera delle necessità sono fatte con molta cura.Quindi,alla fine di questa recenzione,ritorno a dire che hogwarts legacy è un gioco veramente magico(in tutti i sensi)e consiglio a tutti gli amanti di Harry Potter di provarlo.E smettetela di dire che è corto e facile da platinare,pk per farlo,bisogna collezzionare un sacco di cose.… Expand

    Best part of this game is exploring the world and Hogwarts on your broom. The main story is lack luster and fails to hit emotional moments but the "main" side quest that continue throughout the game are wonderful moments, shout out to the magical beast quest line.     Great game. Made me feel like I was in the HP verse. Didn't encounter any bugs. Had a great time. Made it on to my top 10 games of all time list.

    Immersive, good gameplay, great soundtrack, variety and a little depth. Good singleplayer mix. Hogwarts and the surroundings were build with passion and love. Worth the money.

    Breathtaking graphics. Honestly, just wandering through the forests, flying over the lake or exploring the castle would be enough for me. The world looks so beautiful.

    The story has room for improvement. It's okay but could definitely be more exciting and profound.

    The success of Hogwarts Legacy clearly shows that good sales and warm feedback from players are ensured not so much by the gameplay thought out to the smallest detail but by carefully reproducing the right atmosphere. But this is already a subtle moment, akin to real magic, and here the nameless developers of Avalanche Software succeeded.

    Hogwarts Legacy is an altogether excellent port of Wizarding World to PC screens. It proudly belongs to the Young Adult fiction genre, which may make immersion difficult for older gamers.
