    This is the surprise hit of the year for me. I didn't know what to expect, but it's an absolutely hilarious game that made me very immersed. Fun action, good gameplay, incredible writing and characters, and I am not even really a fan of the creators, but they really knocked it out of the park with this one.

    Fun, vibrant world, gunplay better than I expected, and funnier than Rick & Morty (IMO obviously). It’s just too good to not reward even if I don’t think such a niche game can appeal to everyone that a “10” should. It’s amazing. FAR too much effort goes into dissecting whether it’s “funny” or not, which is largely beside the point. It’s like trying to argue about whether Earthbound is “funny”. It’sI struggled as to whether to give this game a “9” or a “10” and ultimately went with ten. It’s just too good to not reward even if I don’t think such a niche game can appeal to everyone that a “10” should. It’s amazing. It’s not the humor, it’s the relentless creativity, self awareness, and genius e understanding of gameplay that, in many ways, could only be made by an industry outsider.

    High on life is set on an Alien planet a billion light years from Earth, so off course games Journalist's were upset with the lack of Black representation, blue, green and purple Aliens dont count as POCs ironically..

The weopens are like nothing else and they give the feel of amazing game like StrangersWrath..Only issues I had would be with the same issues literally every modern game has, performance and polish.. The game runs at 30fps on SX and has noticable graphical issues...To be fair, with motion blur 30 fps isn't as bad as some other games..

    Que puedo decir de este titulo, me he pasado 13h partiendome de risa, es normal siendo del creador de Rick y Morty, si se gusta ese tipo de humor y los shooters este es tu juego.

    I finished High on Life yesterday. I did everything that the game has to offer and it was worth every second of it! If I can say 3 things about this particular one:
    1) I will miss it a lot, especially the characters.
    2) it's by far one of the best games I've played this year. 3) it is what a video game should be. I can see this game getting a fair amount of negative reviews, although    I finished High on Life yesterday. I did everything that the game has to offer and it was worth every second of it!     I can see this game getting a fair amount of negative reviews, although it is currently the most popular game on Game pass and also it's in the 3rd place as the most played game ever - again on Game pass. High on Life is quite similar in structure to old video games like Rachet and Clank or Sly cooper. You have worlds that you travel and visit often, each world is quite open and at the end of each one they have a final boss fight. You are a little kid whose mission is to "clean" these bosses and save the world from the alien threat. At your side you have different weapons that you get gradually and these come with different upgrades that you buy little by little as you progress through the game. The same weapons are 80% of the characters of High on Life since they are aliens who are able to speak and were made to kill.
    High on Life is made by the company Squanch games and the Co-Creator of Rick and Morty - anyone who has seen the series knows what kind of humor to expect here! I am talking about humor because the game itself is based on this and on the dialogues that the characters have with each other. Since we're talking about characters, I have to mention that I loved the whole cast, which, while it's not big, I'll miss them all - really, every single one of them. The Soundtrack of High on Life is also very strong, fitting, exactly what it needed to be to stick with the whole "alien world" theme.
    As for the story, as I mentioned above, we are dealing with an alien threat! We know more or less what to expect but the dialogues are so well worked, honestly you are never bored of it.
    Last but not least the game has a lot of easter eggs, so DON'T listen to those who say that its duration is 6-7 hours only. I was expecting that too, but in the end I needed about 15 hours to see everything. Trust me, finding its easter eggs, it makes the whole experience even more enjoyable so please don't ignore them.

    I recommend it 100% if you like games with dark/satirical humor and a structure reminiscent of the games we used to play as kids. It easily made it to my most favorite games list!!    … Expand

    First single player game I've played in years that was enjoyable. I don't remember it being severely buggy and I was able to play it without wondering when the game would freeze and break. Sadly we probably won't see anymore of High on Life because of Roiland being a creep, but oh well I guess.

    The game is absolutely beautiful. The dialog is so funny, the story is really fun, the characters design is insanely great, and the gameplay is enjoyable. After the huge disappointment I got from all this year games specially Sony first parties. Grounded and High on Life made this year not that bad!

    This is something that we haven't seen for a many years. Strong narrative, amazing humour, good feeling shooter game. Don't let it fool you by cover or short description. It is way, way better than it might look at first view. Try it!

Another time we have super biased low score for a good game. Worth playing. If you have a game pass — just try it.     Very funny and unique. The gameplay and story are enjoyable too. But really that crazy vibe is the greatest thing about this game. Reminds me of Borderlands 2 which I love.

    Initially I was sceptical because of 69/100 critic reviews score, I was thinking that this is just another shooter which tries to attract Rick and Morty fans. For sure I was wrong. This is a great game, I couldn't stop laughing.

    Un juego muy divertido, buenos graficos y nada Politicamente correcto. El humor es excelente y la interacción con los personajes. Desde Conker Live and reloaded no jugaba un juego con un toque de comedia. Definitivamente un excelente juego para estos tiempos donde casi no hay esta clase de juegos.

    It was my dream to get into one of rick's world in the space and killing aliens with morty in hand. Everything in this world has the same beauty as the tv series and then this is so **** good. Only problem in my case is blurry textures but this is because 2gb vram in my gtx 1050 (game needs at least 3GB in minimum requirments).     Game crashed (lock) for me once on xsx but i did not lose any progress. I did not notice more problems or bugs. Comparing to other games on all platforms this year, great. Very nice that game is with PlayAnywhere so I    For me it is a best game of 2022. Best story, animation, humor.

    solo porque tiene los subtitulos muy pequeños no le doy el 10, seguramente lo arreglen mas adelante. pero que pasada de juego, es diferente, divertido y sobre todo FRESCO, es como jugar un muy buen indie con gráficos a la época, esto no lo digo de manera despectiva, sino al contrario. los indies son los que nos ofrecen esas experiencias que raras veces podemos ver en lanzamientos AAA quesolo porque tiene los subtitulos muy pequeños no le doy el 10, seguramente lo arreglen mas adelante. pero que pasada de juego, es diferente, divertido y sobre todo FRESCO, es como jugar un muy buen indie con gráficos a la época, esto no lo digo de manera despectiva, sino al contrario. los indies son los que nos ofrecen esas experiencias que raras veces podemos ver en lanzamientos AAA que de verdad.… Expand

    Very fun game, nice game to relax and have fun with and the humor is on point and will have you laugh through the game. Wouldn't play it in front of your little ones considering the humor can be a little dark.

At release the game had some shader compilation issues but It was fixed with the latest patch. Although im playing it on a very high end PC.

    Un juego hermoso gráficamente, innovador a la hora de jugar te da un refresco tanto visual como en jugabilidad su mecánica me gusta mucho el guión excelente lo malo es que está subtitulado al español y sus letras son muy chicas haciéndose difícil para el lector y molestó para el que no tiene ningún nivel en inglés

    One of the best games I have ever played. The humor is just as it should be: Polarizing and border-crossing.

    Since the game is included in the Gamepass I can only recommend it to everyone ;)

    What a great game!! I didn't expect to find a game that draws my attention so much! I am 35 and its been YEARS since a game consumed my life for a few days and it was such a great time with this game.

    Loved the guns and characters- wish they had merchandise- would buy it in a heartbeat! Glad I got t9 enjoy this epic game and had to make an account just to sing it's praise!     It is such a funny and light hearted game but it is a bit short I fully recommend this game has a great and funny ending I think in my experience it is my favorite game of the year for sure

    One of the best games I've played in a while. It actually worked on release date. I experienced no bugs and it was just a genuine good laugh. A nice change from alot of broken games that have been released the last few years.

    Such a long time since I felt happy playing some action/FPS game. I had fun and and it made me laugh. Sometimes it's like most games nowadays forget about what game are about, trying to force realism and moralism in everything, for **** reasons. Games are also supposed to be fun, creative, go beyond reality, reality is just a optional reference, not a rule.     You like the Humor of Rick and Morty? play this Game! Its the funniest Game since years. And the "Levels" let me think of my childhood, levels with cool and funny bossfights. Maybe more languages would be nice. But it is in English absolutely fine.

    story-oriented science fiction action game, nice production gameplay, fascinating graphics, great and perfect story, great talking weapons, nice game, I hope the second game will come, I'm waiting for the continuation, good luck to the friends who made the game

    Luego de los últimos parches el juego es una joya. Agrandaron los subtítulos. Me divertí como con ningún otro. Tiene mucho humor y la historia está buena. Me gustó el diseño de los personajes y las armas re locas
