    Grand theft auto is fun to play. The open world is fun to play around in and it really does feel alive. My one gripe with the game is it's story and characters. i just did not connect with the characters and story at all. Some of the story missions are fun but that's it.

    GTA 5 is one my favorite games of all time, since it came out in 2015 on PC. Simply amazing work by Rockstar.

    One of the best PC games ever made. It is well optimized. This game is awesome. I have it on my PS3 and I just had to get in on the PC.One of the best and most varied games of this century!!!

    I love the atmosphere, living city, heists, some sa features coming back, customization, countryside(some of it atleast)

    City feels breathing and living. The ads, programs, brands. It feels like it actually exist. Not like other game worlds.

    Customizing your car, character and weapons are needed features.

    Weapon wheel is great addition. In previous games we need to scroll to find the weapon we want.

    I admire attention to detail.

    So much variety unlike 4.

    Strip club is nice.

    Atmosphere is effective. Game world being strong contribute this.

    It is not the best gta, not by a long shot and at some parts it is worse than 4.

    First of all that social club crap is getting on my nerves. Seven disc is already too much but when you get pass that you still need to get an account, install social club and download all the updates. By the time I finally opened this I lost all my excitement.

    Why do I need to open an account? I am planning to play single player not online. And I shouldn't have to open an account for single player. You also need to download updates even if you are not planning to play online. From 65 gb to 88, 5 gb and I uninstalled the game. It takes your excitement, storage and soul.

    Gta 5 storyline is the weakest gta story ever. Three characters mean three seperate stories and it hurts story. Characters and their interaction with each other is good but story feels like it is not complete. Game claims it is about heists but there are like four or five heist in the whole game.

    Franklin's story feels like CJ's and it feels like playing the same story again.

    Trevor's story based upon Michael.

    And Michael's story is about his family.

    Side characters are empty and they are not memorable.

    Now for the gameplay:

    That police system makes you crazy. You shoot someone with a silencer in middle of nowhere and suddenly one star. Police spawn system is trash. When you are wanted they find and come where you are very quickly. It feels like 3D universe's **** police system. There are also no spawning cops outside wanted levels and police stations. They only use some police cars.

    There is nightstick and taser but police never use them.

    Police choppers are too much and when you blow it up one second later another one appears out of nowhere. Since they keep appearing you can't lose the cops after 3 starts without going into tunnels.

    You get a star even if you exist.

    Police and other enemies have perfect accuracy. They can hit you from other side of the map with crappy pistol.

    Health drains too quickly.

    Restaurants are removed. There are almost zero accessible buildings and the ones that are accessible are mostly copy of each other. Some accessible buildings get locked after missions. Being able to access interiors make the game more alive and it adds something to the game.

    Npc's are too angry. Whatever you do they either swear you, start a fight, shoot you or call the cops. Some removed side missions, like classic vigilante. Heists should've been both main mission and side mission. Most weapons(especially melee weapons)feel the same. They don't feel strong enough and there is very little recoil. Melee fighting is mediocre. You just punch, kick dodge and punch or kick again. That is it. It is so basic. Especially after 4's great fighting mechanics. Cars explode too quickly and easily. If you touch ground with rolled over car it explodes. You can't watch car breaking apart like in 4. Physics are dumbed down. Disarming removed. When you buy a property you suffer with repetitive side missions. They keep calling and harassing you. Some side missions and not feeling rewarded when you finished. You can't buy house. There is websites but it is just for cosmetic I guess. You can't change personal vehicles. Why am I stuck to these slow ass cars? Hunting is not good. You can't even do anything with the skin. Now for the map... Desert and forest is not designed properly. They don't feel isolated and deep enough. Too much mountains. They waste space. Generally you don't want to leave los santos because other parts of the map is boring and not interesting enough. It is just long and empty areas. So many wasted spaces and not enough side missions that involves crime. Underwater controls are tiring. You don't even want to explore underwater anyway, it is boring. Dates are removed. Crosshair is too small and sometimes hard to notice. Gta 5 do some things right and so many things wrong. 4 steps forward 3 steps backward.    … Expand

    It is a beautiful game that can be in the top 10 of the most beautiful games I have ever seen. My PC is a high-end PC but even on a bad PC it's a nicely optimized game.

    The base game is fair enough, good graphics for its time, story good enough to make a blockbuster movie, sharp, biting satire of US society in the game's world and great gameplay.... But the game suffers from a serious lack of variety, as once you see things over and over again they become boring.     The game also removed a lot in the way of little details and physics, even gta4 was way better in this regard. I hope gta6 brings back details and interactivity with the world. Like rdr2.

    Online - I tried it once, dropped it and never looked back. Nearly everyone is a jerk and the p2w is unfavourable to newbies. I guess with Cayo Perico things have improved, but it is still just too superficial for me.

    In year 2023 it is still one of the best games ever made. Great graphics and smooth gameplay on PS5, good and funny story, incredible level of details. Even a little worse physics than GTA IV didn't damage this game.

    I have only played the single-player part of the game and I loved it. I loved roaming freely in my car with good music that you could choose from on the radio. The missions were really enjoyable. I liked that there were multiple endings. Very good optimization.

    Rockstar's best game. To this day, no other crime game comes close. The only downside to this game is that it sold so many copies that the sequel was delayed.

    If you guys see someone saying that the game is not optimized, i have a Radeon RX 580 16 GB Ram and i can run the game at 40 fps when theres alot explosions. And the game has alot of content and has good modders, you wont get that in any other game. 10/10 Sure modders can crash your game but you can combat them with other mods, and crash their game.

    Новый геймплей интересно развивает сюжет, а в целом это опять огромная гта которая не нуждается в представлении. Лучшие игры такими и должны быть, чтоб в них и через 10 лет было интересно играть и так оно и есть.

    This game is good, but not at all. Story is one of the worse from GTA series. Driving is not bad, but I don't like it. Optimization is good, graphics are good. Weapon system, you can carry a 10 pistols, 5 carbines rifles, rpg, mini gun, 5 shotguns. Overall games is good for playing casually and for playing for fun.

    Графика для 2015 года на высоте,сюжет заманивает. Хорошо то,что можно выбирать из 3 персонажей. Хорошо проработанный мир,красивые виды,добавлены животные. И ещё один большой плюс- это то,что есть ГТА 5 онлайн

    Single player mode is glitchy and boring after some time. Plot is regular, worse than previous GTA games.
    Multi player is glitchy, boring and annoying. Cheaters, modders, griefers, trolls, scumbags, **** tryhards and more and more human trash is here. 10 years old losers that cant even read task so they fail everything they have to do in missions.

    Rockstar makes one of the best games ever and this one is a clear example. Amazing gameplay experience together with great graphics, tiny little details that make the difference, make this piece a great treasure. The only thing I dont really like is how its milked these days. We really need a new GTA!

    After the long wait, PC-gamers get what they have been hoping for. We cannot deny it; the PC is the best way to experience GTA V. Rockstar optimised the game perfectly, and we are happy to start our third and forth play-throughs.

The game is bloated with so many things to do that you won't even bother trying them all and good luck finding them as well. The game is full of mini-games.     The game is a good attraction, of the advantages here is a good voice acting of the characters and their characters.
    In the gameplay plan, there is a strange variety, the missions look different, but in the end we always have to either shoot or drive, which is a little annoying for the entire duration.

    The Cops and the driving are as unfun as in GTA III. Online sucks, Physics are a joke compared to GTA IV. The only thing that is good about this game is the Story, which gets boring after finishing it once...

You can run this with great settings on high end hardware or you can turn everything right down and run this on hardware from years ago. The online multiplayer is terrible and on the PC version you should check out FiveM. Its a 3rd party multiplayer client (You must own GTA V for it to work). The online multiplayer is terrible and on the PC version you should check out FiveM. Its a 3rd party multiplayer client (You must own GTA V for it to work). The multiplayer on FIveM is way more fun and doesn't require you to spend a week grinding just for 1 car. You get free roam servers where you can spawn any car or custom car in and tune with for free. You also get role playing servers and loads more.
    But single player GTA has all sorts of fun stuff to check out and loads of side missions as well. You have days of entertainment with this game. Its sad that rockstar hasn't bought out any DLC campaigns like GTA IV had the episodes. If rockstar bought out DLC campaigns and charged £20 or something for them then this would be amazing.    … Expand

    One of the most anticipated games ever. I counted down every day before the release (which was pushed back several times) and in the end I was happy with the final product. Unfortunately, success of GTA Online killed any chance for single player DLC and in 2021 there's still no sign of GTA 6.

    When they added griefing pay to win vehicles and they're forgot to add a decent anti cheat the game died on official servers for people who aren't cheating of throwing a ton of money for shark cards.
    Also they they can't afford servers with the billions of dollars they made so the game is peer to peer and your IP gets leaked to randoms... Let's not    A great game ruined by a greedy company.

    This is probably the best game I have ever played. I waffle back and forth between this and GTA IV. I highly suggest that you also upload your favorite songs in the game.     I really like the story, 3 mobs gunning down masses of people. this was very memorable to me.

    BUT if you go to GTA online that is another story.
    Problems:
    1 P2W - more money = more op weapons.
    2 Grind - the grind is too tough compared to how much time you have to pump in.

Even in 2022 many developers are unable to develop mechanics so polished as Rockstar did back then. On the other hand, I felt disappointed with the plot. Maybe it was engaging during the first playthrough in 2013 when I was a small teenager, but now it feels...GTA V is surely an exhilarating game. Its complexity is still impressive, despite the fact that it is a game that is from 2013!!! Even in 2022 many developers are unable to develop mechanics so polished as Rockstar did back then. On the other hand, I felt disappointed with the plot. Maybe it was engaging during the first playthrough in 2013 when I was a small teenager, but now it feels... childish, I guess? Of course, the campaign has its good moments, but in majority of time it simply is mediocre. However, we shouldn't expect a decent plot from GTA series. Or should we? Rockstar managed to deliver mature, enthralling plot in GTA IV and its successor simply falls behind. What is more, the Online mode is not my cup of tea. I understand why so many people may like it, but it does not hook me. It has numerous problems and I believe that it is a bad direction for Rockstar, as they are world-class in terms of single-player games and it would be sad to destroy this reputation with focusing on online modes. That being said, when treating GTA V solely as a sandbox, it deserves a clear 10, but other mentioned aspects of the game were disappointing after all those years. Despite those flaws I would definitely recommend to play this game - the marvellous reviews were not taken out of thin air and even though I have some complaints regarding this entry, it is still a top tier game.… Expand
