    Perfect !!! I was running this game on Asus laptop with GTX 780M, no comments, pretty satisfied. It is not like 60 fps all the time, but more than comfortable

    The game has a weak story and scripted albeit decent scripted missions, The world can make up for it sometimes and the story can be funny. Worth one play through, but theres better GTA games

    Неинтересный сюжет много пошлятины вы наверное сейчас скажите что это было во всех играх гта но эта часть этим грешит и самое главное это оптимизация игра может лагать даже на ссд i5 1060 и 16гб что говорить про онлайн в итоге игра неплохая но есть недостатки    Как по мне у игры был потенциал стать лучшей игрой в истории но рокстары просрали этот шанс

    The story was very confusing for a long time. I could rarely get into the characters and the ending was told very quickly and unspectacularly. The missions that were really good were really good, but most of the time I found them boring. All in all, I expected more.

    Jogo tem qualidade mais tem um grande erro nele ea falta de dublagem para outros idiomas além do inglês e terrível dirigi um carro nesse jogo em tanto tempo tem pessoas conversando nele esse foi o maior motivo para eu ter desistido do jogo

    Great for free roam, the story is OK and the online is fun. The graphics are not the best but still amazing for a 10 year old game!

    Story 5/10 (i don't really like it but there are some good scenes) Gameplay 7/10

    Сюжетка охуенная, но вот онлайн версия... если бы не читеры и баги, было бы лучше хотя это и так понятно.
    Еще интересно то что её до сих пор подерживают почти 10 лет + даже микроволновка потянет

    Probably the most overrated game ever. Not only a story is a complete **** but Rockstar doesn't care about their players, Online is FILLED with cheaters. Even if you play passive mode, they can steal your (who would have thought!) your personal info from your pc. This is disgusting. It was fun though. This is that kind of games which you will play one or several hundred hours and hate it

    Birden fazla karakter üzerinden hikaye anlatmaya çalışırken karakterlere bağlanmak oldukça zorlaşıyor. hikaye ise biraz basit. gerek grafik gerek ise fizikleri bakımından oldukça beğeniyorum. online inanılmaz vasat. hileler her yerde. düz yolda yürümek bile imkansız hale gelmiş.

    the game at the time of release was a masterpiece. the plot was not very good, the controls are one of the best, the first-person mode is trash, shooting is high, cars are cool. now it is also a top game for me, it is the online version, the pve mode remained as old as it was on the way out.

    It is a good game but I don't see anything so special.

    I didn't like it so much the story, the gameplay is the same as any GTA but with better graphics. The only innovation in this game is that now we have 3 protagonists, each with his unique "superpower"

    I have played GTA V Story Mode and Online for over 4,000 + hours. I have played this game on my PS3 and now on my PC. I believe in all these years I have seen every last part of the game. Story mode and the side missions are ok to play for max. a year. After that there is no need to play the game. Online mode, I belive is the main part of the game. I have wasted... (when I say wasted II have played GTA V Story Mode and Online for over 4,000 + hours. I have played this game on my PS3 and now on my PC. I believe in all these years I have seen every last part of the game. Story mode and the side missions are ok to play for max. a year. After that there is no need to play the game. Online mode, I belive is the main part of the game. I have wasted... (when I say wasted I know why I used this word) a lot of time in Online. I have spent about 100 Euros on this game (BIG MISTAKE). The game is ok to play once in a while, but unfortunatelly most of the players just like me, spend hours on this game. When I say hours I really mean HOURS. It is really hard to make money in this game and this leads to 4 options
    1.Spend ALOT of time grinding
    2.Spend cash
    3.Get bored and delete the game
    4.All the above (thats me)
    and also when you try to do heists and missions you need to wait decades for a player to join.
    6/10 if you want to play this game.. make sure it is once in a while and if you get bored, DELETE IT.
    And remember DONT GRIND it isnt worth it its just a game.
    The only way Rockstar can fix this game is if they raise the payment ATLEAST at 5 times more.    … Expand

This game can't get more than 6 score, they just got it because that's a revolutionary game in technicals things. I was growed up in 2013 and I remember how GTA V affect all people. I was one of the first buyers of this game, and I play it as an great fan from GTA series. Those graphics, those mechanics, those reality in modern Los Santos were so great and sh**, but the story is horrible, as every GTA game.

    For real, we can't sit down here and say "wow this game have a huge and solid story" man, wtf, this game have an annoying story, following all GTA games with non sense stories. Three guys with none in common, Trevor forcing an brutal behavior; in one scene they all are friends talking about their lives and in the other scene they're with RPGs killing all the city and robbing banks. The thing go from 0 to 100 mph too fast (the story, from calm to breaking the walls in seconds), and it's **** even if GTA series is based on that.

    And GTA Online is sh**, you already know, I played this thing in 2013-2014 and not even more because it's non sense, more than the story. Copy RDR2 in the next.    … Expand

    I have to make two small premises before doing this review:

    Starting from the fact that:
    - it's true, I've never seen a game world so full of different activities to do.
    - Trevor (crazy and out of all logic) for me is the best "characterized" character of the last 10 years in any existing game.

    However, I must point out that:
    - it's all a go from point A to point B, taking up to 10 minutes each time, even in the missions (ok, they put taxis, but everything is slow and cumbersome, do it first in the car);
    - The missions are very guided, you can't go beyond the system that makes you fail;
    - The characters giving the quests are always the same. I remember that in 4 and in San Andreas you met many characters who gave you the quests to start and finish their storyline. I was so sorry not to see at least one woman in charge of something, giving missions (a bit like Elizabeta Torres in GTA IV or Catalina in San Andreas)
    - Like any Open World I play, I first took a 30 minute walk to see how the world reacted. I noticed that the police in the game world do not exist, but they appear in droves as soon as you drop someone or do something wrong with another; (in GTA 4 you met the police on the street, and if you did a nearby crime they were the first to intervene)
    - the northern part of the map (from where Trevor lives upwards), is practically unused, they could have created a more compact map, since there are still activities to be done in industrial quantities.    … Expand

    Runs decent and quite some singleplayer content.
    Multiplayer has lots of content, but can be dependent on other people internet which means some coop is extremely laggy and unplayable.

    The game has gotten no singleplayer content after release, which is sad. Instead it's focused on microtransactions for multiplayer.

Altough i really really like this game i do feel like there are quite a lot of issues ESPECIALLY IN GTA ONLINE, that i feel needs to be known before purchasing it. The online version on PCThis game, while being around 9 years old still hold up WONDERFULLY today. I have played this game for ages and there is just so much content to go around that it really elevates it to another level. Altough i really really like this game i do feel like there are quite a lot of issues ESPECIALLY IN GTA ONLINE, that i feel needs to be known before purchasing it. The online version on PC has quite a lot of MODDERS that can really screw things up when playing. They can do things like: spawn infinite money, auto-kill everyone, spawn 1 million kosatka submarines, fly etc etc. There are also a lot of griefers online who primarily use jets and oppressor mk2's to blow you up. These mindless morons will not stop until they either get bored or you leave the server. There is also an issue where the online mode is HEAVILY inflated causing even the most MEDIOCRE cars to cost 500 000-2 000 000. And i am not even mentioning the more expensive stuff that can cost upmost of 10 000 000 dollars. To have to grind this much money is absolutely insane and it feels like this is all so that people have to buy more "shark cards" (The games way of buying money) The story is pretty good though, altough it is a little old it still holds up rather well today. In general it is an AMAZING game being held back by tons of issues that can really weigh it down in terms of Score. In general i think the game is STILL a 7/10. even if there are so many issues it is still a great game that i would definetely recommend buying.… Expand

    It's entertaining and well produced, there are many different distince characters and settings, the world is very well designed and big.
    The mission design is rockstar like a bit "on rails" and you don't really have that much freedom.
    The story was good for a video game I think.
    They wasted a lot of potential on the online mode, but I still played it a lot.

Cars can't be entered at times. The same should apply to enemies. roadkill should do incremental damage to the point of death if there is enough force. there is needless ejection from vehicles when getting in a crash. it doesn't make sense and it is annoying. enemies getting shot ragdoll and it makes gunfights feel **** because ragdolled enemies suck to track. they also don't clearly show they are a threat. the load times are stupidly long on my nvme m2 drive. the game is pretty boring regardless of the driving being decent. the story isn't anything special.     The base game is fair enough, good graphics for its time, story good enough to make a blockbuster movie, sharp, biting satire of US society in the game's world and great gameplay.... But the game suffers from a serious lack of variety, as once you see things over and over again they become boring.     The game also removed a lot in the way of little details and physics, even gta4 was way better in this regard. I hope gta6 brings back details and interactivity with the world. Like rdr2.

    Online - I tried it once, dropped it and never looked back. Nearly everyone is a jerk and the p2w is unfavourable to newbies. I guess with Cayo Perico things have improved, but it is still just too superficial for me.

    In short,

Historia nudna, nieciekawa, nieangażująca, miałka. Troje postaci o jakichś tam charakterach i przeszłości, ale żeby się w nie wczuć, albo im kibicować? Absolutnie. Jeśli ktoś chce mieć zarówno doskonale dopracowaną grę w połączeniu zeGra teoretycznie doskonała. Piękny, duży świat z mechanikami najbardziej dopracowanymi w całej historii gier wideo.     A smooth ride from start to finish. The game shines with the design of the 3 protagonists, especially when they come together and play of each other. Heists were executed perfectly, but some other missions felt like a filler to an otherwise cool story.

    missions : they are a mixed bag... some missions are super cool like some heist missions but there are some ****ty ones , and here is where the fun's end, THESE MISSIONS ARE INCRDIBLY LINIAR every time i leave a vehicle even if it serve's nothing to the mission's story, the game wants you to move inch perfect and that is annoying and makes the Experience allot less fun

    Story : okay its not that good of a story and it feels some what pointless (Or maybe i didn't just get it) i don't know if the story is about Michael & franklin & Trevor or Michael & the FIB its just too busy with allot of things and that makes it too weak when something happens

    characters : for me the characters did it for me Michael is selfish, too angry and Franklin is selfless , looking for change and Trevor is Trevor , the side characters are good and the Villains are ****

    Conclusion : its a fun game don't get me wrong but i think its not worth full price in my book... buy it if its on sale    … Expand

    For me, GTA 5 was a passing game. Yes, it was fun to go through the story, but I didn’t want to stay in this game for a long time. Perhaps because of my age, perhaps just mentally this game did not hook me. After RDR, there is probably not enough plot depth.

    •Слишком аркадная физика, лучше бы оставили как в 4-й части.

    В общем - игра мне понравилась. Жаль, что короткая.

    Technically great game. I was curios about huge mods libraries, but its very uncomfortable. Vortex + Skyrim are much easier. Only huge modpack could help. About crime mechanics - im not having fun. Logic and ethics of Gta and RDR is little dumb. You are good thief killing lot of cops, radio is not telling about victims but how "its good to be bad". I really do enjoy the game play behind multiplayer such as missions and heists but tons of issues hold it back such as most lobbies Ive been in having hackers in it causing chaos, making free roaming intolerable at times.

    But the thing that brings this game so low for me is how insanely broken it is, in the past Ive had issues joining heists with friends because some player just couldn't be in the lobbies with other players which at least seemed to be fixed after months of dealing with it.

    The worst though is from the executives update. I played a few hours prior to it's release with no issues at all running it on max settings, but post release it is literally unplayable over half the time I'm in game its frozen, freezing and unfreezing every few seconds. Ive done all the troubleshooting possible but Rockstarr support has only given me the usual BS of try this and this and some other stuff that Ive already stated in me trouble ticket Ive done. They broke the game for me on their end because nothing changed on my end between updates so it is from their end and they refuse to help so I have a $60 game that is literally unplayable and it's digital so its not even useful as a paperweight.

    If it is fixed I would obviously raise the score but as of now 1 is a generous rating considering it's only "benefit" to me is that it takes up space on my hard drive.    … Expand

    I really like the story, 3 mobs gunning down masses of people. this was very memorable to me.

    BUT if you go to GTA online that is another story.
    Problems:
    1 P2W - more money = more op weapons.
    2 Grind - the grind is too tough compared to how much time you have to pump in.

    When they added griefing pay to win vehicles and they're forgot to add a decent anti cheat the game died on official servers for people who aren't cheating of throwing a ton of money for shark cards.
    Also they they can't afford servers with the billions of dollars they made so the game is peer to peer and your IP gets leaked to randoms... Let's not    A great game ruined by a greedy company.

    Rockstar is doing great, good graphics, great storyline in the spirit of GTA. But online, why make everything so expensive, for the sake of buying 1 car, you have to play for a week. And it's not at all fun to collect boxes to take to the warehouse, but all kinds of tasks like races, etc. They bring in very little, almost nothing.

    I mean, if you're reading these you haven't played which baffles me. The game is great... for 2013. The multiplayer has its moments but also can be very, very annoying. GTA V is such a slog to play multiplayer in if you want to get anywhere, or do anything. I have too many hours and am only level 120. The campaign is really good, Rockstar has some of the best open worlds in gaming and it'sI mean, if you're reading these you haven't played which baffles me. The game is great... for 2013. The multiplayer has its moments but also can be very, very annoying. GTA V is such a slog to play multiplayer in if you want to get anywhere, or do anything. I have too many hours and am only level 120. The campaign is really good, Rockstar has some of the best open worlds in gaming and it's clear from the start. The missions are super Fischer-Price trash but everything surrounding it is a blast.

    Plus the RP Servers are very fun if you're into that sort of stuff    … Expand

Steven Ogg is great, but i can't stand his character at all, he feels so unrealistic and way over the top, a massive contrast of the incredibly great Niko character from GTA4.     A huge map with a great potential. Unfortunately, it is focused on multiplayer. There are a swarm of cheaters on the servers. The storyline is too short for this game. Not good and not bad.

    Certes, le multi est bien. Vu son succès, c'est indéniable. Toutefois, le succès appelle aussi les mauvais côtés, comme un nombre incroyable de tricheurs (euh pardon, la communauté appelle ça "des moddeurs", lol) et d'abrutis dégénérés qui tirent sur tout ce qui passe. Et on sent que le jeu n'est pas vraiment fait pour ça, les premières heures sur le multi ressemblent à un genre de torture sans fin. Heureusement, via une parade de config routeur, il est possible de timeout la session et jouer seul, en multijoueurs (ce qui est totalement paradoxal), seule méthode pour éviter tous les boulets.
    Bon après j'ai quand même +400H sur le multi, j'y ai trouvé du plaisir (mais uniquement avec des amis dans des sessions "solo en ligne").

    Mais surtout, son plus gros défaut restera l'absence de doublages français, ça je ne le digèrerais jamais. J'entends d'ici les pro-VO qui vont me dire "ouais mais la VO elle est super, t'as pas besoin d'une VF" : bah les gars, c'est pas parce que la VF est dispo qu'on vous impose d'y jouer en VF hein, chacun fait comme il veut ! Par contre là, c'est forcé en VO de par l'absence de choix. ... Et tous ceux qui diront "oui mais le jeu il se passe aux states blablabla ils parlent américain c'est normal" je peux t'assurer que si tu fais un gros AAA (voire AAAA dans le cas présent) qui se passe genre en Italie, et qu'il n'y a pas de voix US, ça ne se vendra jamais outre-atlantique = argument rejeté.
    Je sais que c'est une pratique courante chez R*, toutefois c'est pas pour autant qu'il ne faut rien dire !    … Expand

    This game is good, but not at all. Story is one of the worse from GTA series. Driving is not bad, but I don't like it. Optimization is good, graphics are good. Weapon system, you can carry a 10 pistols, 5 carbines rifles, rpg, mini gun, 5 shotguns. Overall games is good for playing casually and for playing for fun.

    Problem is , GTA has always been a focus on stories .
    It is accepted in this day and age to pay big amounts of money to obtain something virtually expensive and rare even .

    Online Mode shouldn't have been the focus but Rockstar knows where the money comes from so Singleplayer will rot and grow dust while till till this day as Online Mode becomes bigger .
    Online Mode is fun but it doesn't fit into the world of GTA .

    GTA is suppose to be a memorable story . An immersive single player world .

    Aside from that , Rockstar took YEARS to patch their long loading screens . Only to fix it when a modder attempted to decrease the time it took to load .
    The very basic loading screen wasn't fixed but Rockstar still pumped out new updates for Online Mode is a testimony for how Singleplayer gaming is dying .

    Rockstar thought it was a good idea putting A LOT more effort and work into Online Mode than Story Mode .

    Online Mode is fun and all but simply put it is Pay To Win and if you don't pay , you will grind .

    6 Stars at least because they have Story Mode which is decent .
    Story mode is not fun or entertaining . In fact it is 'ok.' It isn't bad but it isn't that great either .
    The start of the story is interesting but ends up being an uninteresting sluggish game .
    For a game that you have to download 90+ GBs it is overated in a sense .

    Could have and should have been a focus on purely Story Mode .
    Should have got the updates for Singleplayer Mode and the DLCs and etc .
    Could have been 9 stars easily if this was more of a focus on Singleplayer .
    And at least had a more amazing and memorable story .
    Online Mode is pay to win . Many people do talk about how toxic it is . Well , that is expected and it isn't something Rockstar can do much about . That is just how humans are at times it seems .
    But really it is ridiculous how they have shark cards where you can buy your way through the game .

    That is not to say that Online Mode is bad , it is fun with friends and all but Rockstar overdid it and left behind what made GTA .    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Gta 5 is a game I love and hate at the same time.

    I love the atmosphere, living city, heists, some sa features coming back, customization, countryside(some of it atleast)

    City feels breathing and living. The ads, programs, brands. It feels like it actually exist. Not like other game worlds.

    Customizing your car, character and weapons are needed features.

    Weapon wheel is great addition. In previous games we need to scroll to find the weapon we want.

    I admire attention to detail.

    So much variety unlike 4.

    Strip club is nice.

    Atmosphere is effective. Game world being strong contribute this.

    It is not the best gta, not by a long shot and at some parts it is worse than 4.

    First of all that social club crap is getting on my nerves. Seven disc is already too much but when you get pass that you still need to get an account, install social club and download all the updates. By the time I finally opened this I lost all my excitement.

    Why do I need to open an account? I am planning to play single player not online. And I shouldn't have to open an account for single player. You also need to download updates even if you are not planning to play online. From 65 gb to 88, 5 gb and I uninstalled the game. It takes your excitement, storage and soul.

    Gta 5 storyline is the weakest gta story ever. Three characters mean three seperate stories and it hurts story. Characters and their interaction with each other is good but story feels like it is not complete. Game claims it is about heists but there are like four or five heist in the whole game.

    Franklin's story feels like CJ's and it feels like playing the same story again.

    Trevor's story based upon Michael.

    And Michael's story is about his family.

    Side characters are empty and they are not memorable.

    Now for the gameplay:

    That police system makes you crazy. You shoot someone with a silencer in middle of nowhere and suddenly one star. Police spawn system is trash. When you are wanted they find and come where you are very quickly. It feels like 3D universe's **** police system. There are also no spawning cops outside wanted levels and police stations. They only use some police cars.

    There is nightstick and taser but police never use them.

    Police choppers are too much and when you blow it up one second later another one appears out of nowhere. Since they keep appearing you can't lose the cops after 3 starts without going into tunnels.

    You get a star even if you exist.

    Police and other enemies have perfect accuracy. They can hit you from other side of the map with crappy pistol.

    Health drains too quickly.

    Restaurants are removed. There are almost zero accessible buildings and the ones that are accessible are mostly copy of each other. Some accessible buildings get locked after missions. Being able to access interiors make the game more alive and it adds something to the game.

    Npc's are too angry. Whatever you do they either swear you, start a fight, shoot you or call the cops. Some removed side missions, like classic vigilante. Heists should've been both main mission and side mission. Most weapons(especially melee weapons)feel the same. They don't feel strong enough and there is very little recoil. Melee fighting is mediocre. You just punch, kick dodge and punch or kick again. That is it. It is so basic. Especially after 4's great fighting mechanics. Cars explode too quickly and easily. If you touch ground with rolled over car it explodes. You can't watch car breaking apart like in 4. Physics are dumbed down. Disarming removed. When you buy a property you suffer with repetitive side missions. They keep calling and harassing you. Some side missions and not feeling rewarded when you finished. You can't buy house. There is websites but it is just for cosmetic I guess. You can't change personal vehicles. Why am I stuck to these slow ass cars? Hunting is not good. You can't even do anything with the skin. Now for the map... Desert and forest is not designed properly. They don't feel isolated and deep enough. Too much mountains. They waste space. Generally you don't want to leave los santos because other parts of the map is boring and not interesting enough. It is just long and empty areas. So many wasted spaces and not enough side missions that involves crime. Underwater controls are tiring. You don't even want to explore underwater anyway, it is boring. Dates are removed. Crosshair is too small and sometimes hard to notice. Gta 5 do some things right and so many things wrong. 4 steps forward 3 steps backward.    … Expand

    Pros:
    - great open world with attention to detail
    - great vehicles, cars, motorcycles, planes, choppers, boats, with plenty of customization options
    - great storyline, engaging
    - great cinematics with cutout scenes, and a great script and voiceover actors
    - great real estate in-game "owning" and managing options, unlike many other games out there
    - Cayo Perico heist, is the best thing that happened to GTA Online in years and years, maybe to compensate for endless complaints and feedback from the community, a sincere thank you to Rockstar and Take-Two for that

    Cons:
    - the rewards vs. effort ratio is extremely low, unbalanced, to subtle lead to microtransactions for shark cards for real money currency in GTA Online
    - the game difficulty is extremely hard, with little to no option to adjust it to fit our own preferences as users-players, in many other games, we can adjust the difficulty we feel comfortable with, well be prepared, NOT in GTA V, like it or not, you're gonna swallow at hard levels and have less fun, but more frustration
    - the NPCs AI enemies - police, gang members, etc. - are overly powerful and often are cheating the human player the protagonist, spawning almost interminably all over, just to slow down and block your progress
    - extremely hard to make in-game money currency in GTA online, especially to allow you, the player, to have fun and enjoy the options you have available around you, to afford the cars, the bikes, the planes, the military vehicles, the real estate, the high-rated weapons, or whatever else your heart desires
    - for GTA online, heists preps and setups are extremely hard, especially solo, exactly to push the player to spend real money and to eventually team-up with so-called friends, that one may - or may not - have
    - except for the Cayo Perico heist, all the other heists and business activities (supplies, sales, etc.) are pushing the player the way not to enjoy a solo play mode, but to team up with random friends that could be very well some of the same players that killed you, or you killed 2 days or 2 weeks, or 2 years ago
    - sometimes is allowing, even pushing the game style to a battle royale arena, like last man standing PvP action, when in fact it's not about that, by promoting the killer ratio, or stealing from other players and such griefing tactics, like encouraging raiding and bullying other players
    - allowing kids and teens under 18 y/o to play an M- Mature-rated - game, leading to griefing and childish immature behavior among some players, spoiling the fun for all the rest around
    - not fighting cheaters hard enough

    However, IA can suck sometimes. NPC's behaviors are just unpredictable. We can see that this game was developped by people living in America because all oozes this culture: people are armed, advertising is everywhere and outrageous, everything is buyable, each one is defined by the amount of money he or she owns.

    Storytelling and voice acting makes it worse. I couldn't believe my eyes and ears while playing: there really is no character that is not over-stereotyped. Each and everyone is a enormous cliché of the group to which he or she could belong. And each and everyone is getting is own shot! This game compiles hate against canadians, women, spoiled kids, black, chinese, poor and drug-addicted people to only cite them. I would say that in overall women are the ones who take the hardest shots. I couldn't find any decent female character in the whole game and story mode.

    Missions take so much time to load that you need to plan something to do on the side in addition to the game to kill time. These missions are so repetitive that I am sure you may have brain damage if you play it too much. Kill this guy, spy this one, go from here to there, protect this poor little lady,... Hopefully story mode is really entertaining since some missions are iconic and ultimately badass.

    Controls especially with planes and helicopters are awful. I used to play this game with mouse and keyboard everytime but when it come to mastering planes and choppers this game becomes a total mess.

    I said it, map is huge. But it becomes an unvoidable flaw when you realize three quarters of it is an impractical desert. Driving into it is one of the worst thing you will have to do in order to complete missions. Some rocks and other things on the way are impossible to dodge if you take more speed than expected. The relief of the map is horrible: you often face a strong ascent impossible to climb.

    The fact that we follow three different characters is awesome. Superpowers these three characters possess are cool to master and add a bit of diversity in the gameplay but how can you serioulsy explain their existence in such a realistic world? Did the developpers just give us a tiny taste of what could be GTA with a fantasy touch?

    Guns soundeffects are terrible. It is just basic 'pow-pow' and 'blam-blam' awful noises. Guns are a pain in the neck to control and use, especially with this auto-aim system. Aiming at an opponent already is difficult enough not to add dozens of ennemies in front of you during missions.

    Online mode is a total disgrace to my eyes. It takes years to launch a game full of cheaters and haters. People are not ashamed to bully each other again and again with weapons you simply can't counter. Once again this game works like America: the more money you put into it the stronger you become and the more benefits you obtain. Connecting and finding your friends online is really hard. You have to use this disgusting Rockstar platform to see them ingame. I still have to admit that daily challenges are funny, inspired and entertaining.    … Expand

GTA 4 (similar to GTA 3) was one of the best-looking games when it came out and introduced arguably the best story and most well-developed characters in any GTA.

    I jumped into the GTA V bandwagon with the Epic giveaway and based on all the “perfect scores” by the so-called game critics I was hyped. Unfortunately, this was the first GTA that disappointed me.

    Technically speaking, the game is perfect. It looks and sounds stunning and is quite bug free for such a large-scale game. Overlapping narrative is a brilliant idea and for the most part, implemented well. But it is hard to form that special connection with GTA V. Gameplay is way too scripted, indoor locations that can be explored are almost non-existent and dates with girlfriends are taken out. GTA V is also full of juvenile (and not very clever) jokes; characters are quite forgettable (except maybe Trevor), especially in comparison to Niko Bellic. Michael and Franklin are both interesting characters but they had the potential to be developed much more. Trevor, on the other hand, is unforgettable. He is the “hell walking on earth”, but the problem with Trevor is that he goes to extremes in so many different ways that he just feels artificial. Also, he is responsible for 90% of the juvenile humor. I am not talking about political correctness here, a character can be the opposite of politically correct but still funny, if done smartly. Trevor is not that character.

    The single-player experience for me was just a dumbed down GTA IV. If this is your first GTA, you may nevertheless still love it.

    After beating the campaign, I dived right into GTA Online, one of the most popular online games. You start in a casino, with a long cutscene showing off different parts of the casino. This would have not bothered me if you cannot purchase in-game cash. GTA V has one of the most exploitative transactions in the history of video games. Rockstar Games took greed to a level that all lootboxes in any game feel innocent in comparison. Whether or not a good game is hidden behind that wall of exploitative game mechanics, I do not know. I felt utterly disgusted and logged off…

    Não é o melhor jogo do mundo mas representa bem a franquia GTA, o jogo é muito bom, é divertido e a historia é boa, a franquia em si sempre foi muito marcante e os personagens desse também são, na minha opinião é o segundo melhor GTA depois do San Andreas, espero que inovem mais nos próximos games sem perder a essência, não sei por quanto tempo isso vai agradar

    The story and characters was OK, but the whole game just feels empty. It's like a half finished GTA4 or a quarter of San Andreas... 50 hours and I'm done with everything. That's just lame for a big open-world and hundreds of gigabytes...

    It was alright. The scope of what you could do was nice but non of the activities felt great. I think you would have to stick around for the story which didn't really grab me.

    Open world good, story is mediocre. Heist which is the best part of the whole game are lacking, meaning theres not enough of them in the single player campign. Online is a cash grab but can be enjoyable at times.

    With opening GTA 5 on Epic games Servers are downed. I can't come in session and play with my friends. It is **** boring and annoying. But single game is great!

    the story is trash. the only characters that were kind of interesting are michael, lester, and maybe a few others. the rest of the characters are either underdeveloped (like franklin), or just plain annoying (michael's family, trevor). many returning HD era characters are completely thrown under the bus.

    this game has taken sooooo many steps backwards from GTA IV, with the ragdoll physics, shooting, driving, police AI, civilian AI, melee combat, vehicle destruction, interiors, multiplayer, game world, and other aspects. it irritates me how mainstreams critics will mindlessly give this game a 10/10 while completely ignoring how all of these core gameplay mechanics have been downgraded. i guess a huge map with pretty graphics is more than enough to impress these brainless hacks.

    "b-but GTA V has parachutes, planes, tanks, business management, and a countryside!" yeah, so did GTA san andreas. guess what? many of these features have been done better in san andreas anyway.

    don't get me wrong, this game is still highly polished, beautiful, and smooth to play. first person mode is a welcome addition to next-gen. and there is still fun to be had in the main campaign. but the campaign is worth playing only once and never returning to again. it's designed to be consumed once.

    Grand Theft Auto V is in many ways the archetypical example of the modern open-world game. A huge environment to drive around in and get lost in, containing a few small towns, a big city, random scripted events going off every once in a while, and above all else, little icons on a map that you go to in order to make things happen.

    Clocking in around 40 hours to beat and about 55 hours to do everything but collect the collectibles, the game offers a mixture of third person shooting, driving cars and aircraft, and the odd minigame. The story is a story of three criminals who all simultaneously respect and hate each other, and who are all various flavors of terrible people.

    The game has thrilling heists, where the player figures out some plan of attack (from one of two options), does things to set up for that, and then executes on the plan, while switching dynamically between the characters to execute on their part of the plan. This is where the game is at its best.

    And if the game was always that good, it would be great.

    Unfortunately, it isn’t.

    The game is also full of very boring missions, tedious side content, and inconvenience. The lack of a normal fast travel system means that if you need to go from one side of the map to the other, it will consume several minutes of your time, the simulationist nature of the game means that changing your characters’ clothing requires you to go to their house (or a store, if they sell that particular type of clothing there), and there’s a lot of empty time that is filled up by driving from one place to another.

    GTA V does its best to avoid too much blatant filler content – there’s only a few of the typical “collect 50 of this random item scattered around the world” missions, and they’re purely optional.

    But a lot of the content in the game is just dull. Running around in the desert for five miles, doing a half-hour long triathlon where all you do is tap A repeatedly to run/swim/bike faster, spending twenty minutes loading and offloading cargo – there is many a dull moment in the game, where the game just has you do something inane for no good reason for far too long.

    But even the “good” missions are often held back by the gameplay. The core gameplay of driving around in cars is alright, but the helicopters feel rather janky to fly and the plane missions are something of a mixed bag, as there’s no real air to air combat system. The third person shooting gameplay is quite weak – it feels awkward, and while using a mouse plus keyboard makes it better, the game just doesn’t do anything very strong with the third person gameplay. The enemies are almost all indistinguishable from each other, just being a bunch of dudes with guns, or dudes with guns in cars/planes. Tanks technically exist, but I saw them in exactly one mission – and a side-mission at that – and they were easily dispatched with explosives.

    The open world also tries to introduce things like property ownership, but the properties feel like more of a burden than an asset – several will ask the player to do repetitive side quests from a very small list, and the only one that really felt like it was worth purchasing was the one that let you customize your cars for free. Indeed, given the limited duration of the game, it was a losing proposition to buy property, as you’d have more money by the end of the game if you didn’t – the best way to make money was to do the stock market manipulation missions.

    The game does try to entertain people with the story. And on some level, this actually works pretty well – the characters almost always have stuff to say, with the “boring bits” of driving long distances allowing for exposition dumps and back and forth dialogue. There’s story content in almost every mission, and the characters have something to say about almost everything that happens.

    The problem is that the characters themselves aren’t particularly likeable, and the story as a whole doesn’t ultimately go anywhere. Michael is a jerk with anger problems. Franklin wants to get rich and escape from the hood. Trevor is a violent sociopath who wants to just keep on running his meth empire. There’s tension between Michael and Trevor due to Trevor believing that Michael betrayed him years before, and Michael is trying to mentor Franklin a bit.

    But none of it really feels like it has strong enough payoff, and the characters don’t feel like they ultimately learned anything. Franklin never gets to run a heist, so he never really emerges from Michael’s shadow. Michael still has anger issues, and his family’s resolution is basically “We’re all a bunch of **** so we’re pretty much stuck together,” and somehow, this makes them happy. And Trevor… is just doing the same thing he was doing beforehand, and learned absolutely nothing, except he ultimately makes peace with Michael by murdering a third party that they both loathe.    … Expand

    SP is a solid 8 , great missions and story , they got the vehicle speed and feel right in this game . For MP has some nice missions but the technical issues make it impossible to enjoy , to many long loading screens , game disconnects every 5 minutes , mission selection is not implemented well , pvp is dumb when you have acces to noob weapons and also the respawn camping is retarded noSP is a solid 8 , great missions and story , they got the vehicle speed and feel right in this game . For MP has some nice missions but the technical issues make it impossible to enjoy , to many long loading screens , game disconnects every 5 minutes , mission selection is not implemented well , pvp is dumb when you have acces to noob weapons and also the respawn camping is retarded no skill needed just another player to trap all angles .Cheaters ingame with auto aim and mods wich can alter other players appearance and obstruct the normal view also found a cheater who was able to disable the yellow drop points from delivery missions , after i pointed to him how dumb he is in the chat he left 5s later he spawned on me with a different name so that you can`t report him and after he had unlimited hp , flight , invisibility and auto pvp duel which other players can`t cancel so you need to leave the server , this game has no anti cheat protection.
    No option to disable pvp if you don`t want to be killed during a a resupply or in general , for people who want it keep the bonus but not make it compulsory for all players.
    I got this for free but the service is an insult for players who bought the game.    … Expand

    The histry mode is great but online sucks, its not notmal that im trying do the prision escape and after 10 times i think im gonna unstall the game, beacause there is alwais a glich, someone logout or trolling, the worst part is that there is more loading creen that game (online more that single palyer) so in my opinion online got a 0 and a story mode a 10.

    There is something about this edition of Grand Theft Auto that is different from previous versions of the game that I didn't like, and I can't quite put my finger on it. It just doesn't strike me as being as engaging as previous editions. The campaigns aren't as fun. It was good that they got rid of SecuROM DRM and are using Steam DRM instead now though.
    One complaint in particular that    There is something about this edition of Grand Theft Auto that is different from previous versions of the game that I didn't like, and I can't quite put my finger on it.     One complaint in particular that I had was that the radio was less entertaining to listen to than previous editions. The political commentary on the radio was less funny, and the music was worse. I didn't like that in some cases the radio seemed to be disrespecting teachers and the education profession as well. Vice City in particular was much better in both of these areas, and had much better and more entertaining radio programming and music. GTA4 was also better in these regards, but perhaps not as good as GTA: Vice City.
    Having played it already and having discovered I don't like it as much as the other games, I still consider it worth buying and playing... I guess. If nothing else, it's fun to mess around in just like previous versions of the game... and the graphics are a bit nicer in this version.
    I also thought the story was less serious and more... wacky or zany, and less serious, which I didn't like. GTA4, the two GTA4 expansions, and GTA Vice City were all better in that regard as well.    … Expand

    GTA V is a blast to mess around in, and I mean a BLAST! The game is endlessly fun if you just do whatever dumb **** comes to your mind. The story is quite boring, though, and online is even worse. The game is so fun, however, it cancels these two out in my mind.

    Not that good as San Andreas, but you can give it as shot. Nice graphics, controls could be better. But there are no such emotions in it. I'd say it doesn't have a soul.

    Nice story, wonderful real like world. Very interesting game experience. But GTA Online is one of the worst GTA games ever with awful community. All low quality DLS for online only. 9 score for offline, 1 score for online.

    Сюжетка слабая, игра живёт только благодаря онлайну. Да и онлайн в последнее время слабеет из-за сломанной экономики. Но всё же эта игра может затянуть и в ней можно оторваться, поэтому я её люблю.

    We could not expect a better PC port PC for Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar North, offers right from day one a huge game in optimized, widely scalable, and high impact graphics and the video editor, although not so easy to use, is an enjoyable addition.
