    This game looks like it would be great fun but sadly with so many loading screens that last 5+ minutes on a samsung SSD I've had to uninstall this game.

    Perhaps the most over rated game of all time. There's so much shallow things to do in this game that mostly feels repetitive and boring. Driving physics is the worst i have ever seen in any GTA game. The ciy feels dead and i feel no attachment to any of its locations. Multiplayer could have been better but developer's money greed killed the game for the most gamers since the introductionPerhaps the most over rated game of all time.     Positives:- Big, good looking world. Nice touches that add things - drive through blood and it overs the road, people shouting at you, etc etc. Negatives:- *Online is horrendously slow. If you actually successfully get in a game (not often), if the host disconnects or you get kicked or whatever, you have to wait while it reloads the whole of GTA Online. *If it    Wasted opportunity.

    *If it ever actually connects or finds a game, it is full of hackers.
    *Online is slow slow slow slow slow slow slow. Of the 10 hours I have spent in online mode, maybe 2 hours has actually been spent playing. The rest is disconnecting, reconnecting, being hacked, etc.
    *I can't play single player because the game crashes at the same point over and over again. I can't progress in it because it crashes.

    Crash. Next time. Ou it crash again. And wait. Social club. It was so "wonderfull". Game crashed again. What? You must change nickname! What? Game crashed again..Two years old game for full prize. And if you get DVD version, you dont get digital copy of that. And the best in the end:) You must have DVD in mechanic, if you want play.

    Single-player is "okay", but even the "end-game" of single-player is a grind-fest... then online is a super grind-fest... oh yeah, and Rockstar/Take-Two just took a smoking dump all over the moding community by canning OpenIV... so there is that. In one swoop they gutted most modding and/or the ability to expand the single-player side of the game... so GTAV now has less flexibility andSingle-player is "okay", but even the "end-game" of single-player is a grind-fest... then online is a super grind-fest... oh yeah, and Rockstar/Take-Two just took a smoking dump all over the moding community by canning OpenIV... so there is that.     Awful game! Terribly overrated. Got bored so damn quickly. The controls are just awful, the characters and missions are boring, The game just isn't fun anymore.

    Is it OK not to like the game? Will I be banished from the internets? I sure hope I won't, cause I've found this game incredibly dull. I was not able to connect to the character(s), and the novelty of running around the streets and punching people to death wears off pretty quickly.

    Game prevents you from playing single player game unless you log in. Which is annoying because it has rules that make it hard to create secure passwords. So, I get logged out, and have to spend time playing this game by entering Captchas.

    When captchas are a part of your game, you have a bad game.

    The Game crashes the most of the time on a hardcore gaming system with the newest drivers. I wait for the Rockstar support till two days. Tumps down for releasing a game in beta status.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Problems with this game out rweigh the pro's big time.

    People were won over with nothing but spectacle, fancy graphics and shooting miniguns into police helicopters can be fun and all...but that novelty wears off extremely fast but before people already form their positions on this.

    From a single player perspective the biggest thing that the entire marketing revolved around, heists, are very dissapointing
    You only have 6 highly scripted heists to go from, some of which have little to no payout. The choice in them are also limited. How you approach is only two options.

    Picking your crew was also very half assed. It seemed like there was supposed to be more in this game to form an actual large pool of criminals to level and pick for your heists. So that you either choose some crappy crew early on and lose out on a larger score but build them up into a cheap but extremely proffesional crew by the end ( a long term play) or just have a pro crew straight away and suffer the score having hefty cuts.

    But there's so little heists and people to chose from the whole element is just ruined.

    Then comes online. This brings the game down big time.
    Delayed...but still comes out absolutely buggy and unplayable for a month (and still unbearably slow to this day!)
    Then comes the heists, which force people to require a four man crew....that is impossible to find thanks to terrible rockstar servers AND if you do find all four players, the game can be instantly disconnected and throw you out of that session/lobby if just one man decides to leave. Or get's disconnected by shoddy R* servers.

    Seriously, this game was absolutely atrocious from a technical perspective, awful. Onc

Servers are the worst. 20 minutes to get you into a server? Seriously, Rockstar? If you have installed all the updates you can confirm you have a huge ass game in terms of data storage.     The Main Story Mode is a 7.5/10.
    Elements of microtransactions have really ruined the game.
    If you go online there are so many people using cheats and modes that the game is unplayable. There will be a modders in EVERY online lobby and you cannot get away from it. Rockstar does nothing to stop it.

Yeah I'll admit It have some great character (Especially Trevor ofc), but besides that It lies nothing Itself. The only fun thing to do in this game is to shoot civilians and the PD,I seriously don't get It, that's probably the reason behind me don't liking this game. Пuздец начинается, когда ты заходишь в локальную сеть. Много читеров которые будут по КД тебя убивать. А потом ты получаешь БАН за то что просто был в сессии с читером.Игра крутая если играть с друзьями или в одиночку. Много машин, оружий итд. Не игра, а просто мечта.     Who designed the utterly horrid flight controls ? Absolutely the worst flight model of any game I have ever played. Game started out 9/10 and by the time Trevor is forced to fly that dog excrement plane it goes down to 4/10. Really ruined the game for me. If you have an excrement flight model don't force it into missions.

Online has much problems (endless loading, bugs, nothing to do in open session. If you try to play in closed session with friends you'll meet lot of problems.     I've played GTA since the very first one. I skipped playing the fifth one just because I didn't have a gaming pc for a while. I didn't even use any special abilities, didn't bother buying any armor, weapons or ammo, and it was still too easy!

    Yes, the graphics are nice, the story was ok, and the content was plentiful. Although after a while, you begin to notice a predictable pattern: drive to do a mission, watch a cut-scene, drive to do another mission to watch a cut-scene, repeat. These transitions were done better in the previous games and were not so mind-dulling noticeable.

    I gave up on the game half-way through, catching myself yawning all the time and forcing myself to play something I was bored of.    … Expand

    GTA is basically a sandbox to do dumb stuff in for a few hours. For some people this entertainment doesn't get old, but I don't see much appeal.

    The campaign seems decent. Hardly particularly engaging with much depth though.

    The gameplay is very shallow.

    It is a good game. Installing mods though, it is worse than CBT. The rockstar launcher automatically updates it, causes the game unable to run because the mod files aren't up to date. Downgrading the game causes it to become unable to work as well. Only real way to avoid this is using a mod that bypasses the launcher entirely, which still might not even work altogether. It is a huge painIt is a good game. Installing mods though, it is worse than CBT.     If you want to read about the positives to GTAV please see one of the cheerleading gaming "journalism" reviews of it that completely ignore its flaws. Here I'm going to point out those flaws.

    1) GTAV expects you to purchase everything with in-game money. Don't have enough in-game money? Rockstar will be happy to sell you some for real money! You seriously cannot just go up to a good or government vehicle and steal it in a game called Grand Theft Auto. Rockstar will not allow you to store it in your garage. You must purchase it. Yes, you must purchase cars in a game called Grand Theft Auto in which focuses on criminal activity. Have the developers ever even played a GTA game before? Hell, you have to purchase tanks too. You cannot simply steal one. That used to be a huge accomplishment in previous titles. It's impossible here.

    2) The online portion is progression-gated. When you start out the city is a literal ghost town and you're expected to do the same races OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. Then the game gradually unlocks new events. You'll need to repeat them each a hundred times in order to accumulate the RP necessary to rank up. As you rank up things start spawning in the city that should have been there from the beginning and actually appear commonly in the single player mode. Go to the airport in online mode and note the complete and total absence of planes at the AIRPORT. You have to rank up just to make a handful of them appear. Ranking will take years if you're someone with a job. It's clearly designed specifically for the no-lifers or children who need to be treated like donkeys chasing carrots on a stick.

    3) Excessive realism comes at the cost of fun. Did you know you have to buy car insurance in this game in multiplayer? Planes don't come with parachutes. Want to steal something from the military base in single player -- not going to happen! Have fun shopping for real estate to buy or spending hundreds of thousands of in-game dollars on businesses that pay you only 1% of what you spent on them maybe once a real life week.

    4) Rockstar is very mod-unfriendly. They will ban you from the game you purchased without refund even if you're trying to privately have fun with your friends. They make zero attempt to distinguish between people screwing around amongst themselves and those maliciously ruining the experience for others. Can't spend a couple hundred thousand or a couple million in fair cheat-detection, Rockstar? Spent your billions already? This is beyond sad. The community is continuing to try and fix the mess that is GTAV to actually make it fun again, yet Rockstar has been trying to thwart them with every update.

    5) GTA has been obsoleted by other entrants in the open world genre. Who needs a hyper-realistic, un-fun when we can choose from so many other options? I really thought that Vice City and San Andreas were awesomely fun games. It seems GTA has gone downhill and let Saints Row and Just Cause supersede them.

    I'm honestly really disappointed in this entry in the franchise. Yes, the heists are nice both in single player and multiplayer. Yes the graphics are good. No, the game is not fun. No, the game puts realism in front of having fun. No, the game is not for people who have other things to do than play it every waking moment. GTAV had so much potential. Save yourself money and don't buy this 18 month-late game.

It seems as though they focused too heavily on making GTA Online, and not enough on actually creating any story, or gameplay for singleplayer. Most of the contacts you make throughout the game just fizzle out (Solomon and Devin, to name a few). You do a couple missions for them, and then never see or hear from them again. Franklin has barely any backstory. He just does a couple jobs, and next thing you know, he is living in a mansion in the Vinewood Hills. Would've been nice to have a gang territory map for Franklin, like in San Andreas (starting turf wars, etc.), seeing as how he is a gang member...

    The ending was anti-climactic. I chose to kill Trevor, and after an uneventful chase through Los Santos, all that happens is you get some phone calls asking about what happened to Trevor.

    Once the story is over, all you're left with is a big city and not much else to do, except for random meet-ups with random NPCs who give you missions to pick things up, kill, etc...nothing special, and nothing relevant. Just a bunch of mini-games...

    Online isn't any better. Pretty boring, to be honest, and not as populated as I thought it would be.

    Considering this version of the game took about a 1.5 years to produce (after the other versions), you'd think there would be much more to it, but there really isn't. Definitely not worth $60. Maybe wait until it goes on a Steam sale.    … Expand

    I had this game for ps4 and thought it was pretty cool. Graphics were decent and online was fun (I didn't care much for the single player, though I did beat it) When the PC version came out I returned by ps4 copy and used that money to purchase it for PC. Probably 3 hours of work to get it to run. After I did get it to run I thought it was pretty awesome, graphics looked great and ran at 60+ fps. For about 5 minutes, it was worth it. Then I started crashing. I have not been able to play this for longer then 10 minutes without it crashing, and to get it to work I have to edit about 20 files in the games directory. This poor rating isn't as much for the game as it is for Rockstars horrible work on this PC version. These issues haven't just been me, they've been flooding the forums, and they haven't even addressed it at all besides to tell you to uninstall/reinstall the game(which doesn't work) I would definitely hold off on this game for a few months, there's a very good chance you won't be able to play it until then anyway.… Expand

The excuse with friends it is fun. Is just bad. The online feels more and more quantity over quality. Just to sell their shark cards. These days there are better online games out there to mess around in with friends.

    I also do not like how they force you to play in a public session when you are doing a CEO mission or any of the other stuff. This just makes it more grindy if you have some dicks in your server.

    The custom games are fun, but not better then Halo Reach did it back in the day. Also where are my online animals...the dogs and such. You had bears, panthers, deers, buffalos and all of those animals in red dead redemption. Huge let down.

Lets pretend you are lucky enough and didnt get HDD related bug, which is really common. Lets pretend you were also lucky enough to not catch fps related bugs and got that sweet 60 fps. Wanna know whats gonna happen for ya after all that stuff and gigabytes of fixes? 3 hours of gameplay.
    Yep, in 3 hours you will reach your first heist and "throwing weapons bug". Not going to explain it in details, but this will actually make you not able to progress in story anymore.
    So, you are going to spend an evening which you couldve spend on game, on googling 3rd party fixes for this. Yep, R* doesnt care at all, they've already sold it to you. You ll find a fix which literally makes you not using one of the core functions of the game forever.

    You ll get another 2 hours of gameplay, and then - BAM! Another heist. New series of bugs. Another evening spent on googling, fix found on crack developers site(Yep, fix for legit steam version of game found on crack makers site). 1 more hour of gameplay, yay!

    Aaaand 3rd heist. Which will have a new combo of bugs, weapon related and character switch related. Ive done this heist like 20 times, trying every fix possible, none of them worked(altho, ppl get thru it). This was the point where i draw my line. Deleted the game and going to ask for refund.

    Oh, and dont forget that iFruit wasnt even ported for pc version of the game.
    So, what do we have? A good looking benchmark(in theory there is a gameplay, but you cant access it coz of **** of bugs), multyplayer full of cheaters (there is no antcheat at all. Like literally, you can hack it online using artmoney! Dont forget about microtransactions!)    … Expand

It's Rockstars's laziness that offends and irritates me. This game could have been a wonderful achievement, but the stupid characters and their stupid dialogue are injected into every facet of the game.

    I loved all GTA games before, Vice City and GTA 4 being the favorites but this game just didn't do it for me.

    The story is just flat, unfortunately, and I didn't like playing multiple characters.

    What should have been an exciting multiplayer sandbox is just a micro-transaction NO-FUN-ALLOWED grindfest, where the only reward is a nicer looking apartment or faster version of a vehicle you already own. Rockstar's state of the art peer-to-peer servers are guaranteed to enrich your GTA:O experience with a multi-cultural smörgåsbord of laggy scriptkiddies filling your chat with moonrunes or BR?BR?BR?

    Some of the gamemodes are okay but most are **** and it's extremely boring to play the same **** over and over just to earn a fraction of that new supercar I'd like. There's not much to do in freeroam, since Rockstar doesn't want to let you have any fun without forking over real money or downloading a mod menu. (Note: I've never been banned or had money removed from my character.) The only good thing GTA:O does is the racing; It's actually one of the best casual racing games for PC today.

It's impossible to take these characters seriously in the slightest, not when they attempt comedy every 5 seconds, if you can call that a comedy...
    As for the gameplay:
    It's downgrade from GTA IV, lack of activities and not being able to crouch outside the cover, even Vice City allowed you to crouch anywhere you wanted! And that game was released 17 years ago!
    As you play furthermore you'll notice, the game plays nothing like a GTA game. Ironically, people like to call other open world games a gta clones but as now, GTA V is basically a clone of those "knock-off"...

    Rockstar games are dying. Rockstar kill games with on-line. The last good game was GTA SA. GTA IV was buggy. In GTA V, the plot was completely killed, for the sake of drawing money from the players. Where is the zombie mode? Where are the plot additions? Where is the fight against cheaters? The greed of modern developers is endless.

The only issue I ran into offline was that the game didn't detect my headset and I had to go into the options and go down to the voicechat option and just move the cursor off the option to somehow fix it.     That's where my praise ends for the most part. Online is a buggy mess worse than a Bethesda game. I basically can't go through a session without running into bugs. My cousin notified the game that he wanted to skip it. He still had to do the tutorial. Another example was that I had to rob a store as part of the tutorial. The store that the game sent me to didn't have an npc manning the cash register. I ended up going into another session to respawn the NPC. One bug my cousin has run into is that he cannot buy properties because a character in charge of reselling stolen cars hasn't called him. Not being able to buy a property means he can't host a heist or store cars in garages. Trying to search Google for fixes to this issue has been unfruitful. At rank 20 my cousin and I could no longer invite each other to missions after entering free mode. We thought it was another bug. It turns out that we were being forced to do a survival mission in the middle of the map before we could invite each other to another mission. I dubbed it the rank 20 tutorial mission. Our friend got to level 20 and wasn't forced into doing said rank 20 tutorial mission. That same friend has had the road texture disappear while he was driving. My cousin has had the minimap display as a blank box. We did the mission Repo - Burn Rate and after defeating all the enemies the mission refused to complete. My cousin said my character had an enemy marker on him on the minimap after this refusing to complete bug happened. In our most recent attempt at playing the prison break heist together a car refused to allow my cousin to drive it. It had to be driven by our friend. During the first part of said heist could no longer run, no longer eat snacks or enter cars. I ended up having to walk away from the area to complete the mission. Then while loading the post heist area my game was stuck on the loading screen. It started slowly showing the GUI over top of the loading screen. This is all after we waited about 10 minutes to get a fourth person to join us as the game mandates that 4 players must be playing said heist. I didn't get the rank 25 achievement until I logged in later at rank 26. Just a wide variety of bugs for 12 hours of online gameplay.

    Then there's the things that you might think are bugs but are actually gameplay elements. Like not being able to steal and save high end cars online in free roam. You have to buy them with your phone. For the longest time we were trying to figure out how to host a mission as driving to the mission point on the map simply puts you into another person's mission set up. It turns out we had to navigate the menu system in order to host a job. Or someone flying a hover bike while shooting rockets at you. Is it a hacker or is it part of the game? Getting set on fire while water shoots you into the air during freeplay mode. Is it a hacker or is it a bug?

    And then there's the annoying things. You can press a button to "like" after a mission. Its not clear whether this means you like the map or whether you like the players you are with as it doesn't let you specify which player did a good job. It does things like muting Discord while taking 5-10 minutes to launch into online mode. The game has a mission where you fly helicopters to repo cars. The mission sounds great until you realize that 3/4 of the cars are in a garage and need to be driven into the driveway in order to hook the crane onto them. Oh and the properties will have trees around which can damage your helicopter blades. Then you get annoyed with just how finicky the hook is at latching onto cars after your 10th attempt at hooking the car. The online tutorial doesn't consist of telling you how to queue up a job through the in-game menu or how to deposit money through the phone instead of wasting time trying to locate an atm in freeroam. It instead forces you to do things like participate in a race. Why you need to have your hand held to do something that you could do in offline mode isn't clear. Lamar then sends you to steal some drugs for Gerald also as part of the tutorial. It does this before sending you to a gun shop to buy ammo. But don't worry you'll likely just die before you run out of pistol ammo.

    If it was just me having a buggy online experience I could chalk it up to having a weird computer set up they hadn't anticipated however all these bugs happening to 2 friends and myself leads me to believe the game is to blame.    … Expand

    GTA online was, now it is plagued by "hackers" and "modders" that sometimes make online unplayable without counting the crashes of their servers and the long waits to connect to a session many times, and despite the complaints rockstar does not nothing and ignores PC players, even though he charges us the same as console players for his game. Ahh and you still have to go to the cheers with the players who only spend their time screwing others just for sport.

    Now apparently we will not have the new content of the new generation consoles, at least on the date that I am publishing this review we do not have it yet.

    If at this time you still want to try online, do so bearing in mind that it is almost certain that you are going to have a very bad time for all the reasons that I already described above so that later there are no complaints.    … Expand

    An EXECRABLE community, Rockstar that feeds the little axxholes with flying motorcycles that explodes a military tank in a missile, Rockstar that puts a MONSTEROUS pressure on you to buy EVERYTHING: between nightclub, bunker, casino, complex and so on. This game is and will always remain to be avoided in 2022 and in the years to come.

    The singleplayer is worth it though.

    SP is pretty good. There aren't many missions and they aren't dificult, but it's pretty good. It also has very good looking visuals. I would rate SP a solid 8/10.
    MP is utter garbage. Unplayable, laging pice of sh*t. There aren't any dedicated servers, it's peer 2 peer. P2P!!! In fu*king 2015!!!! Also loading times - no comment. Online part of GTA V is complete failure 0/10

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. What a wasted opportunity.

    First - The open world sandbox aspect is amazing. So much potential, tons of cool stuff to that. So many things you can do and interact with. Biggest positive of the game and it's a great one.

    However, the plot goes to crap pretty quickly. They introduce a raging sociopath that everyone should have just shot in the back of the head in the first scene but, inexplicably, doesn't. They've got this unskippable torture scene, where you've got an interactive min-game torturing someone. Every other mission in the game can be skipped save that one, because... I dunno, some sort of faux moralizaing? It is also 100% pointless to the story. Does nothing, accomplishes nothing, nobody talks about it again, it's irrelevant save from trying to create 'shock' value. The whole SP campaign just gets worse from there. Not in terms of being 'too violent'. It's not about violence, just weak story revolving around everyone being total idiots and one guy being super insane unstoppable/unquestionable Mary Sue Kill Anyone While Being Indestructible nutbar *that you have to play*. It's like being forced to play some My Little Pony right in the middle of a GTA game. Jarring, out of place and stupid.

    Online is broken. Full of hacks and cheaters. Only the most meager attempt to deal with it. Heists are alright if you've got friends to play it with regularly but everything else about online is pretty completely broken.

    Crazy shoddy business practices. Games on Steam, right? So right before the Steam Summer Sale they jack the price up from $60 to $80, then say it's *on sale* for $60, throwing in a pretend money card (fake money you can only use online) to say it's a 'deal'. You can't buy the game otherwise. Oh, and if you did buy it? NON REFUNDABLE BECAUSE THEY GAVE YOU PRETEND MONEY.

    Borked online, lying BS during steam summer sale and the most shallow SP experience of the series. Painful as it's set against the best open world environment Rockstar has ever done.

    Get Skyrim and Payday 2 instead. Better open world in Skyrim and Payday 2 is 10x better for online heists.

    Depressing showing by Rockstar. End of the day, it was a complete sellout, trading 'meaningless shock value' for rich characters and dishonest business practices for a good product worth the money.    … Expand

I cannot and will not recommend supporting companies who aren't consumer-friendly, companies that treat people giving them money like **** Pirate this game if you have to, it's really good, but don't buy it. Don't give them your money.

Unfortunately OpenIV enables recent malicious mods that allow harassment of players and interfere with the GTA Online experience for everybody.     In the first sentence you distance yourself from Take-Two. Nice. Unfortunately, Rockstar is a part of Take-Two Interactive, so either it's a case of left hand not knowilng who's being kicked in the balls by the left foot or... you think we're going to forget that you are Take-Two as well.
    Let's say that OpenIV does have a hole, let's say that it is the truth... WHY WON'T YOU WORK WITH THE MODDERS TO FIX IT!? OpenIV was made specifically for single player, it wouldn't even allow to go online, so that's hard to believe, but since you like to support the creative community so much, why didn't you said anything to them BEFORE bringing up a lawsuit? Modders aren't a malicious force... For **** sake, half if not more of Valve games started out as mods! Besides, if you gave a dead dog's cock of a damn about Online then you'd remove microtransactions from the game. Or made Online a standalone, free to play game...

    It doesn't seem to matter if you're playing single player or actually cheating online, many people are reporting bans for such simple things as entirely cosmetic mods. They seem to be using GTA:Online as an excuse to block all modding. It's really pathetic though that such a giant in the industry can't seem to limit their anti-cheating measures to only focus online when much smaller companies do it regularly.

    This game has such massive potential for great user generated content but here we sit with it being crushed in favor of a notably lackluster online experience and Shark Cards (microtransactions for GTA:O in-game cash). Due to the number of people that bought the game it's modding community could even outshine Skyrim's once tools are created/released. They don't have to support single player modding, but the least they could do would be to not actively try to stop it. We all agree that online cheaters need to be dealt with, but they really need to leave single player to the players.

    The gun play is good, though the sounds are a tad stale sounding. Aiming is simple and fast, first person aiming is almost like a big name FPS. There are many guns to choose from and unlike GTA IV you can carry every last one all at once.

    Driving feels nice and smooth. Weaving through traffic in your awesome sports car is fantastic. Speeds seem to be limited unfortunately so your in-game version of the Bugatti Veyron wont even break 200. Though that may be due to the fact that many PCs won't be able to render the world fast enough to keep up with the fastest cars at their real world counterpart's top speeds. First person driving is great but definitely needs seat adjustment options.

    The AI can be incredibly dimwitted sometimes. I've had AI refuse to engage something trying to kill them, AI drivers consistently trying to drive into me as I go down the road, run into the open and get slaughtered when there is plenty of available cover, all sorts of things. Friendly AIs seem to have an aversion to shooting more than 2-3 shots in as many seconds when in vehicles, especially when they're on a turret gun.

    The AI can have it's smart moments too. Hostile AIs seem to be smarter than friendly AIs. They'll suppress you, they'll use cover often, and they'll try to flank you when they can. They will also open up on you any time they can shoot.

    Locking missiles are worthless against AI but nearly impossible to avoid for players. I've shot every last locking missile in my inventory at a slowly circling AI prop plane, I've shot numerous missiles at helicopters ad ground vehicles from aircraft. They almost always miss unless I get lucky. I've been shot at while in a far superior aircraft (a fighter jet) with guided missiles countless times by AIs as well as being shot at by players with locking missile launchers. They are relentless and EXTREMELY hard to dodge, this is coming from a guy who plays flight sims all the time. Where missiles fired at AI (even with full lock) seem to stop tracking when they get close enough to an AI missiles fired at you turn better, seem to be faster, and never give up trying to hit you. This is just flat unacceptable as far as I'm concerned. Missiles need to be uniform against all targets AI or Player.

    The story is the same one you've probably played already on 360/PS3. Retired bank robber, crazy meth dealer, and laid back gangbanger team up for epic heisting action in strangereal LA. It's a fun story but desperately needed more actual heists and content. I feel like it suffered due to an obvious shift of focus to GTA:O. There is also plenty of content locked in GTA:O that needs to be added to the story mode including clothes, vehicles, and all sorts of other goodies. The latest content releases all seem to have favored GTA:O completely excluding single player as well. If Rockstar would patch all that content into single player as well it would be amazing. Another unfortunate thing is your GTA:O character who is in fact stored locally on your computer cannot be used as a heist crew member even though GTA:O now has it's own heists, you character interacts with many of the main characters including directly working for Trevor and Lester in "jobs", and takes place before the main story.

    GTA:O is a lackluster disappointment to me. Boring grindfest or you're getting attacked by 9 year olds screaming obscenities on their mic or text chat. Jobs are fun but repetitive. No passive lobbies either. Everything is super expensive in stores.    … Expand

    Despite all these "polishing" and bunch of delays, all we got was a console ported version with no difference i graphics, nor gameplay. Yet it confuses me that GTA V has again failed to make its users understand what the hell was their delays for. Lots of bugs and issues, somewhat good but not expected from a should-have-taken-weeks-with-delays game.Overall I am damn disappointed.

    This game have a lot of possibilities to play but it's nevertheless boring. Now I have 60 GB more data storage and wasted 45 €. Maybe this is a game for 90% of the people but not for me. And there is no normal lobby for friends. You need luck to join the same lobby.

    The game is awesome. The Player support sucks. They only will reply you with automatic messages, and you can't know and solve problems with them. If you have some problem with the game, i'm so sorry rockstar dons't care. Rockstar support is a mess.

    This could be a great game, if their was a better online experience. Huge problem is players who are way above in level who flying around destroying every vehicle they see regardless of game play. This happens in 60%+ of servers and ruins the experience.

This game is fully made to stress people, You can not play solo to ignore all other people due of many many hacker these days no you have to play online in a session with hacker and other troll ppl who won't let you alone for not even 5 minutes and will hunt you to kill and annoy you. So if you wan to do some CEO Missions etc. then you are FORCED to play with these people or you use some tricks to stop the connection to your client.

    4. Bugs, Allot of bugs. I just did a bunker delivery mission and I had 3 cars but I was solo. I could deliver 1 car fully but the dang timer ( made by a genius btw ) which is redicolously set to low went off so I could deliver 1 car and the rest could not be delivered BUT as I went back to my bunker, I've noticed that I've lost around 70% of my income. All the other 2 cars etc. just disappeared. I mean how? Where? WHY? they wasn't touched, standing infront of the bunker so HOW is is possible that they just disappear? Who programmed that bull... srsly? No matter what I try to earn cash in this game I end up with a high heart rate because the game stops you from everything you try and messes up everything as bad as possible.
    I hate GTA Missions. Srsly they are day 1 up till now the same and these dang timer. Rlly why so low timer? There are ppl who wana play solo and relax gaming and doesn't own the hardest vehicle to do that in a redicolously short time.

    5. Oh and not to forget, this game IS Pay2Win. They sell ingame cash for REAL cash.

    Just a tip from someone who has a weak heart to someone who might also have a weak heart. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME IT MIGHT KILL YOU for real. I have never experienced that anger like I did in GTA in just 1 week.

    And Rockstar does very little to counter those 90% that ruins the game.
    I'd advise to steer clear of this game, or at least online mode.

    Should you want to buy this game, I recommend NOT PLAYING ONLINE, but downloading FiveM and playing that instead.
    Just make sure to find a server that doesn't require you to pay money for anything or create your own.
    On those servers, you don't need to worry about micro transactions or anything else, as everything can be unlocked (even the stuff R* wants to hustle you for) for free, or with chosen grind.
    It's basically a private server where you avoid R*'s bs.

    Single player campaign is great, can recommend.

    Disclaimer: I don't support nor play FiveM due to them breaching R* ToS by profitting off of the illegitimate GTA: V Online servers and making you pay for licenses in order for you to play with more than 32 people, even though you are using your very own system/server to keep the server up.

    Since when I got the game (pre-order that went lost, so got a different version later on (no, never got my pre-order stuff)) the game has just degraded, with an player base that only increases during sale and after big updates (those are basically summer sale cheaters and returning players wanting to give this poor excuse of a AAA game another chance), I have seen NO IMPROVEMENTS in the actual game, other than that loading screens no longer takes up to 1 and a half hours.
    IT WASN'T EVEN ROCKSTAR THAT FIXED THE LOADING SCREENS BTW.
    The game has become Saints Row, but worse.

    It does not support ultrawide monitors properly.

    It is unplayable – after 10 minutes of gameplay you get a slideshow (and my system exceeds recommended specs two times over). Judging from forums, there are tens if not hundreds of people with same issues – and Rockstar couldn't care less for them.

    Good, not amazing, GTA game that is held back by the terrible business practices of it's creator. Banning people for using FOV mods, not offering proper customer support, etc. Unfortunately, I can't recommend a game like this when there are many other sand box action games on PC, like Sleeping Dogs and Saints Row, that don't have any of those problems.

    Story 6/10 best GTA World so far but this 3 Character thing is not very well designed also many features missing like insurance for cars. This only Heists thing for money.... and mission outside of Heists have a bad feel if you dont get any money from them. Story feels rushed compared to the last 3 GTA.     It lacks any of the stylistic elements of Vice City/San Andreas, the impressive physics and animation system from IV is gone as well.
    Don't get me wrong, it does have some neat graphical effects, but the gameplay and story aren't anything to write home about, neither is the soundtrack. To me it seems    I don't see why people have been losing their sh*t over this game for two years now.

    Royally **** it up with a suite of unlikable characters, negligable option to explore the world in the campaign, a **** campaign, rinse everyone for shark cards, ruin your own reputation. Check.

    The game is extremely buggy. Given the time it took to make this port, you would expect some quality assurance with regard to constant crashes. Even the patches are introducing new ways of crashing the game.

    The games lobby-system is really bad, considering that friends who joined your matches are constantly placed in different sessions after playing one match.

    The first heist preparation mission always ends in a white screen error, even if replayed.

    Mods are not supported and singleplayer-modifications will lead to a ban in GTA Online.

    An awesome game with great story, awesome missions, great graphics, music, cars, and online gameplay! Why the low score? Cause they gave you the option to buy money for the game with real money...

    The game was fun for the first week but since rock star has put no effort in a solid anti cheat the multiplayer part is now unplayable not to mention the that this game somehow always places me in a Brazilian/Chinese server when I'm from Europe. Only positive thing I can say is that it runs ok, but what do you expect from a last-gen game.

    I dont get why this game exists all you do is kill people and drive i would have given it worse if it didnt have a advanced open world you have to kill people in this game it sucks

    Crappy console port. It crashes every 10 minutes. Huge waste of money.

    I hate the characters, they are complete morons. They are completely unrelatable.

    This game is on zig good, but you get to and somehow just gebanne for modding ... I terweil really have not done (Played only one week and knew nothing of mods out) then a spell of 10 days !! !!
    online word jeer often thrown out so the servers are also poor.
    This game is not worth the money !! most 10euro ...

    Played this originally on ps3 back in the day when i was only playing on consoles nowadays i´m mostly playing on pc and ever sense i started it i have wanted to buy this on pc. I thought that i could finally do it this year when steam summer sale came back online but something happened, something that i just can´t forgive Rockstars Studios. I thought that i could finally do it this year when steam summer sale came back online but something happened, something that i just can´t forgive Rockstars Studios. They basically banned modding by shutting down OpenIV most used modding tool for gta games. Modding was one of the reasons i was gonna buy this game for pc. and what they did, how anti consumer and shady their practices seem to be i just can´t support this. This caused me to boycott all Rockstars Studios games until they fix this and that includes sadly also title that i have being waiting for sense they announced it Red Dead Redemption 2. So sadly this is reality until Studio comes back to it´s senses.… Expand

    The game, of course, is good, especially the plot, but the online version has big problems. You have known everything about them for a long time.

    If you hadn’t had a chance to play it yet at all though, and your computer can handle it, the PC version does definitely feel like the definitive version.

    We could not expect a better PC port PC for Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar North, offers right from day one a huge game in optimized, widely scalable, and high impact graphics and the video editor, although not so easy to use, is an enjoyable addition.
