    Многие считаю гта 4 худшей частью серии, мол задания однотипные, принеси, подай, отвези, убей. Но на это я закрываю глаза, ведь история Нико, с этой темной атмосферой Нью-Йорка пробирает до мозга костей. Этот белградский сукин сын завоевал мое сердце. Его история лучшая во всей серии

    This game is legendary, the story is actually good, but its not too fun, but the atmosphere of this game is absolutelly unbelievable, the physics is the best, a lot better than GTA 5. In this game the PC Optimalization is horrible, If you had a better computer back in 2009 when GTA 4 came out, it would have been hell to run the game anyway, the game was unplayable in that time on PC, ButThis game is legendary, the story is actually good, but its not too fun, but the atmosphere of this game is absolutelly unbelievable, the physics is the best, a lot better than GTA 5. In this game the PC Optimalization is horrible, If you had a better computer back in 2009 when GTA 4 came out, it would have been hell to run the game anyway, the game was unplayable in that time on PC, But I'm also a bit disappointed about the story, the story didn't entertain me as much as in GTA 5 or GTA San Andreas. Good game, but unfortunately there is not much in this game, when the story is finished, I find the game a bit underdeveloped. I understand they were trying for physics. Anyway, I didn't like the city either, it's just that when you finish GTA 4 you mostly don't turn the game on until you want to play it again, which doesn't happen anyway, or you go play the DLC, but when you finish the DLC there's nothing you can do in the story or the DLC anyway, in GTA San Andreas after finishing the story you could play for tens of hours to finish GTA San Andreas 100%, also the gangster wars in GTA San Andreas were very good. Anyway, in GTA 4 there are no conveniences like in GTA SA, you can't customize your character, you can't tune cars, you can't use planes, although actually GTA 4 couldn't do that because Liberty City, you couldn't explore the water world. GTA 4 just wasn't my cup of coffee, even though I finished it.… Expand

    There is a mod called 'Definitive Edition'. I recommend you to play the game with this mod. It largely solves the optimization problems it has. Game is absolutely awesome.

    Із гарного це атмосфера та фізика. Усе інше душе унило. Хтось скаже, що тут реалістичний сюжет про тяжке кримінальне життя. Вибачаюсь, але сюжет дуже затягнутий.

    πολύ Καλό game Ειδικά για την εποχή του ήταν κορυφή τώρα πλέον θα το έβαζα τρίτο πρώτα το GTA 5 μετά το San Andreas μετά αυτό, αλλά στο PC που παίζω εγώ έχει πολλά Bugs και μου σπάει λίγο τα νεύρα για αυτό και το 7

    This is a very good GTA. You play as a balkan immigrant who travels to America to live the american dream but the circumstances force you to get involved with crime. It starts with very small jobs, like bullying people in order to pay their debt and slowly as you gain fame you do bigger jobs and get to know more important people. The pacing of the game is very good at least at the firstThis is a very good GTA. Unfortunately and once you reach a certain point and have lots of money you realize that you cant do many things with it. You still have to steal cars from some poor bastards although you have a 6 digit account. There are no garages, you cant buy houses, you can't run businesses. The character also doesn't seem to grow throughout the game, and has the same primitive mentality in contrast to San Andreas where you could feel and see the growth and evolution of your character.… Expand

    Das Spiel war für seine Zeit extrem innovativ und hat eine phänomenale Spielwelt. Hinzu kommt eine packende und lange Storyline. Leider gibt es bei der PC-Version einige Bugs, welche einige Story-Missionen zum Scheitern verurteilt (7/10).

    Это наверно самая не запоминающаяся часть GTA из всех. Какие-то недо русские недо итальянцы в NY. Не, простор все ещё большой, хотя как будто бы есть какие то рамки или не знаю.. ещё этот фильтр желто-серый, как будто я просто вышел на улицу в России. Не то чтобы я прям мечтаю играть в "уныние".     I expected something else from GTA. I expected fun dynamic missions. Chases, shootouts, train hijackings, plane hijackings, bank robberies, mansions storming.
    I understand that the authors of the game, the Houser brothers, are essentially writers. I would not like to insult them with the word graphomaniacs.
    But because of their desire to write more dialogue and be sure to convey their    I expected something else from GTA. I expected fun dynamic missions. Chases, shootouts, train hijackings, plane hijackings, bank robberies, mansions storming.

Each mission begins with an endless car ride to the other side of town until the characters discuss everything the writers have written. And then you take a couple of shots and the mission is over.     Uninteresting dialogues, boring missions, mission replayability is not good checkpoints are missing, more boring city than GTA SA, not a special map/story.

    GTA IV's story was my favorite one among the other games in the series. However, I had 2 significant issues, leading to a 3 point drop in my review.
    1 - Aiming was not sensitive to small mouse movements. When I aim for someone's head, I need to move the mouse upwards very slowly. However, the game does not pick up the small movements, which makes your cursor stuck just underneath my    GTA IV's story was my favorite one among the other games in the series. However, I had 2 significant issues, leading to a 3 point drop in my review.

However, the game does not pick up the small movements, which makes your cursor stuck just underneath my objective. When I move the mouse more strongly to counter that, it finally detects it, but this time the cursor flies upwards, again missing the head. This was not a game-breaking issue or didn't make anything more difficult. However, in a game like GTA where you always need to use a gun, it becomes very annoying.
    2 - There were huge bugs, although extremely few. At a certain point, I needed to spam the space button as a mission objective, but the button was not working. I had to completely change my graphics settings in order to make the space button work in a mission.
    Other than these 2 issues, the game was very amazing. The acting, story, story presentation, the freedom in your choices, and variety of friend activities were all perfect.    … Expand

    Саундтрек офигенный, физика топовая. Радио "Владивосток" вообще топ. Отдельно меня эта игра порадовала присутствием в ней песни Виктора Цоя "Группа крови". Но не всё так радужно. Геймплей хреновый, почти точь-в-точь, как в Сан Андреас. Провалишь задание в самом конце - начинай всё сначала. Оптимизация ужасная. Бывало фпс 45 при нагрузке на ГП в 50%. Графика такая себе.     There is an optimization problem that would not be expected from a company like Rockstar. After the excellent optimization of GTA 5, I did not expect such a thing. Computers running GTA 5 without problems do not run GTA 4 without fps drops.

    Геймплейно игра превосходная. В остальных аспектах игра мне нравится: тачки ,оружие, все великолепно. Сюжет-- такой типичный боевичок, ничего особенного.
    Почему 7 , а не 10 все очень просто. Концовка просто ужас, я просто не мог залезть на вертолет и постоянно проваливал миссию. К сожалению у столь великой игры такая кривая и недоработанная концовка.    … Expand

    While this game is a masterpiece, the same thing can't be said with PC version of GTA 4.

    This version is poorly optimized and have many problems with performance issues, due to developers simply port a console version to PC and changing little stuff without fixing issues with performance, its got worse with a Patch 7 somehow, they added a new shadow but didnt fix performance problems,    While this game is a masterpiece, the same thing can't be said with PC version of GTA 4.

    It's the peripheral distractions of both going out with Roman, and meeting your girlfriends, that really make your virtual life so worth living. Although incredibly simplistic, they're oddly touching...One of the finest videogames ever. [Christmas 2008, p.87]

    A genuinely ground-breaking blockbuster in videogame history. There were moments playing GTA IV that I thought back to my initial experiences with games, and realised exactly how far we've come. There's never been anything quite like GTA IV in the world. That there makes me genuinely happy to be a gamer.
