So utterly complete that comparing it to consumer racing titles like "F1 2000" from EA is pointless. This is on another level entirely; another plane if you will.
-
If you intend to play it properly, you'll discover that it's enormously complicated. Frighteningly so. And that's what makes it so good.
-
Spank!I very much intend to retire from the human race and hibernate with this game.
-
Da GameboyzHands down, the best Formula 1 driving simulation I have ever played, and I have tried them all.
-
CheckOutEasily the best racing simulation ever created.
-
For each item that was updated and modernized, something else was left in the DOS stone age, leaving my mouth hanging open in shock
-
Solid gameplay based on legitimate physics code and a very credible AI component, which should come as no surprise, its in the bloodline.
-
The huge number of options creates great diversity and replay value, although the options can be a bit difficult to deal with for the novice.
-
PC GamerNot the most advanced F1 sim on the market, but it's the most immersive and enjoyable. [Nov 2000, p.143]
-
This simulation possibly incorporates the most detailed aspects of Formula One racing ever put on disk, making for an ultra realistic driving experience for gamers patient enough to master the controls.
-
CNET GamecenterEven with its flaws, "GP3" is the pinnacle of contemporary Formula 1 simulations.
-
While the gameplay, artificial intelligence, customization capabilities, and weather replication are all outstanding, in other respects this release appears more than a bit rusty.
