    This games controls and intuitiveness are absolute **** Played the game 10 minutes and decided to never play it again. Want to play a good plat former that is hard but good. Play Super Meat Boy! You want to play a hard RPG play DARK SOULS. SKIP THIS GAME

    One of the best games you can probably get for your money. Highly addictive. A session can be played in a few minutes. It’s hard, but never feels unfair. The controls are precise and easy. A perfect game for adults with little spare time for gaming. If you like Binding of Issac, you probably will love this one. It’s way shorter than Isaac though.

    Game would be fun if you where actually told what the controls are. All you get for con trolls is what looks like a keyboard or controller drawn in ms paint with some areas highlighted vague enough for you to be like OK what key is that. If the game actually told you what button to press that would be nice. that major failure of the tutorial gets this game a three.     Hace un tiempo ya que le pegue un vicio a los roguelikes y este no decepciona en lo absoluto con un aparto visual interesante, ítems para el personaje, que no solo son de apariencia, cada uno da habilidades distintas, muchas armas y lugares secretos. El juego no me pareció realmente difícil, no siento que tenga una dificultad tan elevada como otros títulos, aun así, es una experiencia bastante disfrutable.

    SINOPSIS

    Tal parece que nuestro protagonista se llama IKK con el cual recorremos distintos escenarios muy coloridos plagados de enemigos con el propósito de ayudar a su única amiga, una ballena llamada Sally.

    PROS

    1-Aunque el juego parece confuso, tiene la capacidad de hablar por sí solo, no cuenta nada y no ayuda en prácticamente nada durante las partidas, aun así, se logra entender nuestro propósito y como jugar sin mayores indicaciones por parte del juego.

    2-Como en todo roguelike mantiene la variación en los niveles que se generan de manera aleatoria. Tambien mantiene una buena combinación entre momentos apacibles y frenéticos.

    3-Apartado visual sublime y muy colorido que crea un escenario agradable a la vista. Los enemigos no se quedan fuera, tiene ese toque de ser adorables, pero a la vez nos damos cuenta que son un tanto macabros, y que sabes vienen de un sitio infernal y te harán daño.

    4-Hay una buena cantidad de ítems a recolectar, con estos objetos equiparemos a nuestro personaje, pongámoslo así: un casco (que dependiendo del mismo tendremos distinta cantidad de vida), una mochila (que nos da una habilidad) y armas (son variadas y tienen distinto tipo de disparo, cadencia y daño). Es importante también recoger todas las “monedas” (unos cuadrados de color morado con símbolos raros) que nos darán la posibilidad de comprar cosas a la parca.

    5-Tiene las mecánicas básicas de moverse, saltar y disparar y son muy satisfactorias, aunque sus mecánicas no se quedan ahí, podemos deslizarnos por las paredes, un doble salto y poder saltar sobre los enemigos para hacerles daño en caso de no tener munición.

    6-Una vez terminada la aventura disponemos de “Retos Diarios” por lo que podemos extender el juego aún más.

    CONTRAS

    1-Algunos niveles son bastante claustrofóbicos, esto es bueno para mantener la dificultad, pero he tenido momentos en los que no tenía a donde escapar y el enemigo terminaba por pillarme.

    2-Los logros no son muchos y una buena parte de ellos solo se desbloquean al pasar a un nivel o matar X cantidad de enemigos.

    3-La banda sonora está bien, pero pudo llegar a ser mejor y más variada.

    CONCLUSION

    Si te gustan los roguelikes deberias darle una oportunidad a este juego es una buena experiencia ademas de que se encuentra a un precio razonable.    … Expand

    I can understand that some people like Gonner, but that's not a game for me. The graphical design is based on flashy, epileptic colors that change as you perform combos. Gave me headaches once or twice...

    For the rest, the game is a demanding, die-and-retry, nervous roguelike that requires quite some reflexes.     The mechanics and visuals are nice but the rogue like repeating runs are boring af. There isnt really anything added that makes every run interesting. After a couple of runs you ve already seen all there is.

    Gonner is a single gameplay mechanic away from being a fantastic run & gun roguelike, and if you don’t mind passing up a set of options, that problem can be ignored. It has a wonderful aesthetic, blending cute and cartoon-creepy, rendered in a unique art style that does a wonderful job of tying all the elements together.
