If the idea of a 2D platform shooter roguelike with minimalist visuals appeals to you then Gonner: Blueberry Edition will be a welcome addition to your gaming library. Just keep in mind; easily frustrated gamers need not apply.

There are a variety of weapons and items available for you to use along the way and using each of them is not only fun but it also keeps things fresh as well. Platforming in the game always feels tight and responsive which is very important because this keeps the already high frustration levels down. The world’s in the game have quite a bit of variety dotted throughout them and this does make you want to carry on even when things get tough. When you finally get the hang of it the game ends up delivering a very rewarding experience to you. At first I didn’t have a clue what I was supposed to do and I little bit more in terms of an explanation would’ve been nice.
The difficulty of the game can be off the charts at times and if you get frustrated quite easily then this game will definitely cause you a whole host of problems. A few of my friends have played GoNNER on the Switch last year and they all said that the game was very difficult but it was also thoroughly enjoyable as well. After playing it for a couple of hours I can now see what my friends were taking about because without a doubt the game’s difficulty is brutal but this still didn’t stop me from returning back to the game time and time again and in the end I’m glad I did keep coming back for more. Everything about this game is unique and charming and the presentation side of the game pulls you in right from the get go. Another aspect of the game that pulls you in is the fantastic platforming elements which always feel tight and responsive throughout and most important of all they feel fair despite the punishing difficulty so this means that even though GoNNER can be pretty frustrating at times I urge you to look past this because it gets a lot of important aspects spot on and as far as platformers are concerned it stands out quite brightly.

Unreleased this was a fun little Rogue light where you could play in small verse and unlock things at your leisure. Then once a developer hadUnreleased this was a fun little Rogue light where you could play in small verse and unlock things at your leisure. Then once a developer had made a bunch of money and a bunch of people owned and were enjoying the game he released a patch that destroyed the entire game. Basically remove the ability to save your progress and save your items. So now every time you want to play it you have to start right back from the tutorial and unlock everything which is hours and hours of gameplay. One of the most revolting things I've ever seen a developer do. Will never buy another game from this studio raw Fury AV again Expand
