    This game has truly given me a deeper perspective of life. It has it all, a magnificent story that speaks straight to your heart, stunning voice acting (baaaa), and a wide room for exploration.

    It's a neat idea, not fixing bugs and making a joke game like this. My problem is it's 10 **** dollars. 10 dollars? Really. for a joke game? That's like paying $10 for a one-time hand buzzer, and shaking your own hand. If it were free, sure that makes sense, why not make a joke game and have tons of people buy it for free? What's worse is that just about EVERY youtube has made a video of this, and playing it doesn't give you any more satisfaction than watching the video does.

    After playing this game for 2 hours straight, I realized there does not seem to be much in it. This game had an astronomical hype behind it, yet it failed to deliver what most people were expecting. Buggy engine ceases to be funny quickly, tossing stuff around and knocking things over is somewhat dull and the only things that could make you wan't to play the game more are 'hidden' easterAfter playing this game for 2 hours straight, I realized there does not seem to be much in it.     A throw away title at best, if you are hard pressed to waste $10, then donate it to a charity, burn it if you have to, but using it for anything but this is better.

When it comes to goats, not even the sky is the limit, as you can probably just bug through it and crash the game.

    Altough Goat Simulator is a small game with no real objective it's map is packed with cool things to do with some hidden secrets here and there. It is definitely worth the 10 dollar price tag . Soon enough many people can make new stuff using the steam workshop which adds to the amount of content e.g new maps, challenges etc...

    This is a 10-minute laugh, if that – the kind of thing that's here today, gone tomorrow, but for a brief moment in history is the talk of Shoreditch and Twitter. It's the gaming equivalent of a novelty single and even the developers, to give credit where it's due, recommend you don't buy it. Listen to them.

    I was in a deep depression. My life seemed to be going nowhere. Then, I'm perusing the internet and I see goat simulator. I begin to weep, partially out of happiness, and partially because I'll have to wait a few days. I instantly pre-order. Goat Simulator saved me. GOTY 10/10

    this game is a masterpiece of the modern times it shows how far we have come as a species.i had a goat experience with this game .i felt like an actual goat living the goat life.

    I'd give this game an 11 if I could. I really do love this game but I think I'll wait for the GOATY version to come out. Always wanted to be a goat but never could.

    This is the death of PC gaming. We could've stopped it. Our standards have become so low that we rate indie games that look like they've been made in an hour 1010. Stop for a second and think about the future of video games, please.

    I have to admit, a very good level design with highly detailed textures. And the idea. That's pretty much the only good things about it. First thing you do is change the resolution, game freeze, you have to change it manually in the .ini files. The only thing about this game is Unreal engine with a custom model for the player.     4. Have tons of fun for 2 hours.

    The area is small, but there was actually a decent amount of "quests" for a joke game like this. The quests give you more stupid stuff that get the physics even more crazier.

    This game is at best a 10-minute laugh. You writhe in the ridiculousness and have a good laugh with your friends, but after just the slightest time you start to understand that the developers were correct when they said it's not worth buying unless it's on sale.

    A great game just to goof around with. Can entertain me for a few hours, good game to just play if you had one too many beers. I look forward to updates from Coffee Stain to make Goat Simulator more entertaining.

Especially because among the many hilarious bugs in the game, there are also some very frustrating ones, such as the one that can wipe all progress. Game-breaking bugs aside, there are many fun, interesting, and strange things to do.Goat Simulator is a lot of fun, as long as messing around and having fun is your goal. Being a completionist can actually be quite a pain, and ruin the fun. Especially because among the many hilarious bugs in the game, there are also some very frustrating ones, such as the one that can wipe all progress. Game-breaking bugs aside, there are many fun, interesting, and strange things to do. You can become the queen of goats, make demonic sacrifices, and even fly through the air in bizarre and uncontrollable patterns. If you're looking for a lifelike simulation of being a goat, you're sadly out of luck. However, if you're looking for a good time rather than realistic goating, this odd mess of a game has plenty in store for you.… Expand

    If you like games that are purposely glitchy and sandbox open world (small world at the moment), this game is really fun. There's no real point to it other than doing things to gather trophies, but its simply fun. its a nice break since its causal

    Goat Simulator is an amazing game, it´s extremely glitchy but the company itself said that the game was made in less than 3 weeks, so the purpose of the game is to be buggy.
    The graphics: 8:5/10 (graphics are really good not the best of the best but good)

    The games is intended to be silly. If any other people are rating it less than a 5, then they are taking it too seriously. The game is humorous, and contains a lot of discovery, but it's a just a tiny bit inconsistent in some places; that doesn't matter. It's a still a fun game. The achievements are easy to get and it's fun to play for what it's worth.

    First and foremost, a rant. This game was and is meant to be satire. That is it. When people take games too seriously they give no constructive feedback what-so-ever in their reviews. There seems to be some hypocrisy here. If a game is a joke and doesn't sell it's considered satire, but when a game is a joke and sells millions it's greed? Where is the line drawn? Because from where I'm standing it seems awfully hard to see. This is a revolution in gaming because it CLEARLY isn't taking itself seriously. As opposed to the CODS and the GTAS and the seriously business games that are always released, it is games like this that allows you to appreciate not caring. When I first played this game, I laughed. When I continued playing, yeah the laughing became more like a chuckle. I didn't know what to expect. I didn't see any game reviewers or youtubers play the game, I played it blind, and from that I got the full experience. I would look for the easter eggs and the references to my favorite movies and games. I'd explore the world and try to break it. Because it was different. It wasn't a cookie-cutter game.

    Now for the review:

    Pros:
    -Very beautiful art style.
    -Graphics are pretty nice for a quickie
    -Very destructive world, good for stress relief
    -Interesting physics, which is a part of why the hilarity works
    -Other goat classes to choose from, all with different powers, abilities, and quirks
    -A publisher that actually cares about the game they create. (Sidenote they released new content for free as "dlc" as a joke.) And they actually talk to their fans.

    Neutral:
    -The game is buggy, which is a part of why it is amusing. The bugs aren't gamebreaking, but amusing.
    -Gravity is ridiculous in this game, which makes for amusing and immediate lols

    Cons:
    -It's not really worth the money
    -It gets old fast

    So overall, complaining about the obvious flaws that were purposefully left in there (bugs, etc) is like pointing out the unrealism of Star Wars. Who cares? It's a movie/form of entertainment. You are proving that the gaming community is so desensitized that it can't even take a freaking joke. You're just mad you didn't think of it first.    … Expand
