    Goat simulator really has changed my life, as it has done good, i will say sorry to the fact that this game is kinda buggy, but i love it anyways, goat simulator is of the video games that i am the in with the most love with, it has everything i want, goats, disco party's, rag dolls, everything.

    Goat Simulator feels like one big joke of a game and surely does not take itself seriously. I cannot even imagine how you can come up with this and how you turn a normal everyday animal into a video game. But they did, and it works!

    If you take a simple look at the game, it is nothing more than a square sandbox in which you can screw things and people up as a goat. You earn and unlock mutators for even more carnage and madness like flying, spawn goats, build blocks Minecraft style and many, many more. Normally this type of games bore me pretty quick because there is no end goal or clear end to the game. But because the game as one hundred and twenty-four achievements, requiring you to do certain things and interacting with the world and the various secrets and Easter eggs, I automatically got a purpose to play the crap out of this game. It also gave me a full tour throughout all the crazy and hilarious stuff in this godforsaken piece of glitch. Going for the achievements is the way to go to fully explore everything and feeling that what you do matters.

    The graphics for Goat Simulator are fair and are not that bad to look at, the music is hilarious, it is silly, and it is perfectly fitting for the game you are playing. Once again you can see that the developers wanted to state that this game is not to be taken seriously. The physics in this game are broken and out of control but this is to be expected and Goat Simulator is the one game that can pull this without complaints. It fits the experience.

    Sometimes I was really focused, I tried to get a certain objective and then when I looked at my character, I forgot that I was playing as a freaking goat. It is just the magic of this game.

    Goat Simulator has many, many references, Easter eggs and parodies on other video games and movies. They are hilarious. Mainly because the realization kicks in that it is a freaking goat which is now the super star of that movie or game part. You can clearly see that the developers had the best of times when creating this thing.

    There are three DLC’s available for this game and all three of them are totally worth it. They have all the same humour, crazy mutators and NPC’s and add cool new features like the apocalypse, a goat in space, flying in a freaking spaceship with the worst controls god ever created and “pranking” people instead of doing heist in the Payday DLC. Definitely recommend the various DLC’s. The MMO simulator is perhaps one of the best. You get the feeling that you are in World of Warcraft, the fake chat and players in the game had me fooled for nearly two hours and once again, the references and parodies on other video games were fun.

    Even though you must not take this game seriously, I wanted to make a special note for the Flappy Goat achievement (score 10 points in Flappy Goat). It has been a long time that I attempted and got an achievement this horrendous. I thought I was cured from my gamers rage but that one got it back in full swing.

Sure it’s buggy as **** and has the graphics of a Nintendo 64 game, but the bugs add to the charm. I mean, watching a man fly 600 meters into the air because you poked him with your horn is ******* hilarious.     The sheer realism of this game just goes to show how far computer technology has come. And if a simulation that feels so profoundly real can run on my modest desktop computer, I find myself contemplating that perhaps ... perhaps we ARE living in the Matrix! Do you know goat-fu?

    Its a cheap game with quite a bit of content, good humor, and mechanics that, while very glitchy, provide a lot of laughs and replay value. I've spent over 150 hours playing this game so I'd say its worth 10 bucks

    DLC's are worth it according to me even if I recommend getting the 'GOATY' version during sales. Environment is as varied as tasks you can achieve, Steam achievements are interesting as some are really hard to get. The only main flaw is that there are numerous bugs and glitches, some completely ruining your progression. But you only get another chance to have fun doing what you already managed to do. Steam mods are great, graphics are decent, AI is dumb as hell, great ragdoll, mini games are terrific, combo and score ideas are good. You should try it with friends to maximize the laughs!    … Expand

    There is no reason to avoid this Game. Its a truly masterpiece. Goat Simulator is more Worth than this trash games called „Super Mario 64“ „Resident Evil 4“ „Gta 5“. These Trash Games are super buggy and cheap.

    Ну все же я порекомендую эту игру, так как иногда хочется покрушить все вокруг)

    A complete mess of a game and it knows it. Fun for a few hours, but that's about it. If you enjoy games you can laugh at, grab it when it's on sale for a few bucks.

    This game is magnificent and hilarious to play alone and in co-op. The game alone only features two large worlds to which offers enough to do to warrant putting countless hours into the game. There are also several inexpensive DLCs which offer even bigger and more interesting worlds which well worth the money. Goat Simulator has two jokes, and they are as follows: "It's funny when people fall down", and "Glitches are funny". Those two jokes are what the entire game consists of. You spend the entire game gaining points by causing, "chaos", but there's no real chaos being caused. As soon as you trip someone up, they will just get up and keep walking. This is something which games like Just Cause have discovered from the very first game- if you cause chaos, you get into trouble, and the trouble escalates. The police will come, and if you resist arrest, the chaos will become more chaotic. Tanks and fighter jets will appear. In other words, chaos gets more chaotic- and that's the whole point of chaos, and Goat Simulator doesn't do it right. It's actually a living hell. No one pays attention to you, you're essentially invisible. So, Goat Simulator is a joke game, composed entirely of glitches and one joke. And get this- It costs real money...

    So that's Goat Simulator. It's an awful, unfinished, unplayable pile of **** and I strongly suggest that you never, EVER touch it, not even with an EXTREMELY long cattle prod. Coffee Stain Studios should be ashamed of themselves for making it.    … Expand

Whether you're riding a rollercoaster with a DeadMau5 helmet or blasting people away with a dragon shout whilst body boarding across the map, the game won't fool anybody that it's a simulator, and nobody's unironically pretending it to be. That ultimately becomes the crutch and only point of the game, to pass off some laughs for a good hour at the silliness of it all, preferably with friends. Once that initial hour wore off for me, laughs diminished into uninterested smirks and eye rolling boredom. There's nothing else to the game save for a few modifiers, although I expect the modding scene to spice it up slightly more, but with the same results. Make no mistake, it's an intentionally bad game, but it becomes up to your volume of tolerance for this sort of amusement. Like Minecraft, it's limited by your imagination, and unfortunately, I don't have much tolerance for this kind of hilarity.

    Goat Simulator is painfully aware at what it set out to be, stupid fun. The music speaks volumes of its comedic tone. The rag doll physics are 'fine' tuned for maximum ridiculousness. Despite what it's got going for it, Goat Simulator's form of entertainment didn't last long at all for me and only served to highlight the problem with games of this caliber: poorly made games are passed off for only giggles rather than addressing that they do indeed suck.    … Expand

    Goat simulator is a hilarious game with a awesome feature of rag-dolling! all of the goats have there own "power" witch makes the game even funnier to play! There is also a lot of funny and fun DLC's! It will take me all day to name all of them!

    It works and does exactly what it advertises. The problem is the game is based entirely on novelty, which wears off after maybe an hour. On the bright side, it is only $5 or so on steam, so I'm generally happy with this purchase.

There is so much more to goat sim than anyone would expect even just running around licking people and destroying houses is fun. Goat sim is meant to be glitchy thats what makes it so crazy and fun!!! Even goat MMO (which comes with goat sim!!!) is amazing. Overall if you hate goat sim cause of it'sIt makes me so pissed to see people give goat simulator a 0 since it's such a great game.     Easily the worst game I've played. Even as a fan of sandbox-adventure-type games, I found this utterly pointless; it bored me to tears. Just playing it made me feel that I was wasting time in the worst way possible. Essentially, in this game you jump, roll, charge, and steal in a poorly-rendered block-size wasteland.

    If you have 10$ to spare, I would recommend checking this game out for sure, you'll find it oddly amusing until it gets oddly unsatisfying. But if you don't have money to throw around I would recommend to wait until this game goes on a sale and buy it then.    … Expand

    Love this game and so does my son! Infact he's the one who got me playing it! We are having a goat simulator birthday party for him and his halloween costume this year will be none other than a look a like goat off the game. Not sure what the problem is with the people leaving **** reviews, but definately worth the money because its a really cool and entertaining game!

    Problem 1: The frame rate is terrible. Maybe it's just my computer, but it can drop to one frame per second depending on what I'm doing. Coffee Stain, you MUST fix this. Please.
    Problem 2: With a game with comical glitches comes a game with bad glitches. I'm talking game crashes, texture glitches, glitched music. Speaking of music...
    Problem 3: There are five or six songs. (Minus the ambiance, but let's face it, that doesn't count.) Come on, CoffeeStain, if your only going to make a couple songs, make them GOOD.
    Problem 4: No online multiplayer. This is THE PERFECT GAME for online multiplayer. I'm not talking about Goat MMO Simulator, I'm talking about the non-MMO areas. Goatville and Goat City Bay. (Are those the right names?)

    Silly, stupid, but strangely hypnotic. This game has only so much replay value, but with the new addition of the MMO gamemode, it does give quite a bit more to do. A fun game to have a good 10-15 hour blast with on your own but then will usually just be the funny game to show to friends every mow and then. If on sale, pick it up. And press 1 to Baaaaaa.

    I found this on sale for $3.99 and figured that I might as well buy it since it's just four dollars.

    Worst four dollar purchase I've ever made. It was hilarious for 5 minutes then boring as hell. Hook your goat's tongue onto a car that is spinning around in circles and laugh for a few minutes, then realize that there's nothing else in the game to do. I'm pretty embarrassed that I even got it.

    This game was never meant to be taken seriously. Glitches galore, as far as the eye can see. You play as a goat doing impossible crap that not even a psychotic human being could accomplish. Do tricks, get points. Kill people, get points. Take a trip to demonic goat hell, get points. It's like GTA, but goatified. Overall, it's a solid game, but you probably won't enjoy it for a long time.

After that its not anything new. There is Steam Workshop so take what you will from that, but unfortunately that is only life support for a game this empty.
    The achievements, the trophies, unlockables, the workshop and all the friends in the world will not make this game any more enjoyable the 3rd or 4th time playing. What it lacks is company made content.
    I recommend this game, but not at full price. Buying this game at full price would make it seem like complete waste of money due to its lack of content. But again, it was made a side project. So if you want to see its spiritual successor or final outcome, play A Story About My Uncle.    … Expand

You must also not consider the value of money and like to spend hours modding things that earn you no glory except being able to text your one friend with a **** grin saying, 'look! look what you can do NOW! isn't it awesome, it's shiny!'

    Anyways, to point:
    This is a small developer project that leaves the player with the impression that after five minutes of playing, you have really played and paid for five minutes of content too. There just isn't that much to do. There is an arcade style of bonuses for very limited activities- such as ooohh boffo! destroy stuff in under a minute! Do a handstand! Do a barrel roll! When in comparison the complexity really arises, and also the enjoyment, in the form of self-appointed goals that the game will never recognize as an achievement.
    Such as: let's set someone on fire, grab him, drag him to someplace high and see if you can then toss him far enough to light the gas station on fire, blow it up and destroy a passing truck. Can you do that? then pioneer the exhibition by posting that video on youtube, because, well really, NO ONE has done that before, right??? In fact, do that while twitch-ing yourself making fake surprised expressions that no one believes wasn't practiced by you sitting in front of a mirror making faces like you were a Disney Animator.

    The strong point of this game is where the developers stop: the user crafted content. Because unless you find new ways to open end crack this very tiny open world environment, you are looking at the deathmatch version of Grand Theft Auto 4 where no one has ever finished the game, because we never got past the joy of driving over peoples feet, getting 5 star warrants and running into the Emergency room with a rocket launcher yelling "allahu akbar."

    So, really, how do you rate a game like this? If you love indie work, love to mod, and love parabolic motions of goats with a neck that does weird things with collision boxes, this game is a 10. But if you feel the cost of a tiny game with a premise that doesn't grow beyond 2 minutes of chuckles, you don't program and you like Stanley Parable rewards for linear gameplay, then this is a 2.

    This game is a blast! You'll laugh you're head off! For about an hour. Once you've seen everything, the game becomes EXCRUCIATINGLY BORING! The map is too small, so everything can be found VERY easily. And, honestly, if a game is deliberately buggy, you know that's a bad sign. When you've seen it once you've seen it all. So just never see it AT all!

    People react retarded spotting the goat. I would expect my goat alter ego being threatened with captivity or even end up being eaten and that to be a reason to keep low profile before you can find the power ups.
    Be nice to people , charm kids. Next, steal food, escape, power up. Instead the game expects you to play some kind of god mode, and round up hysterical humans with your overpowered horns.
    The humans don't organize, don't form pose, release the dogs to "get that goat".
    I felt bored after 40 minutes and felt sad for the untouched potential.
    You can lick people and they drop as if your tongue was poisoned.
    But how about just stepping into a fashion shop and start eating designer clothes and drop faeces all over the place? That would be a start for a goat "simulator".
    When you touch a car with your horns, it explodes. What about scratching the paint to attract the owner then tickle his nuts?
    On the positive side, the game is simulating some physics that are hard to master (driving a bicycle is not easy but it looks like it can be done) and the player needs to use his feeling and imagination to create funny situations for snapshots.

    Hopefully, the developers will add in more content in the near-future, as otherwise counting on Steam Workshop won't bring much longevity to the game.

    Goat Simulator is true juvenile mayhem. A playground for the imagination flinging people into crowds, barreling through penthouses sending the top floor partygoers plummeting into traffic and getting the gas tank launch just right with a car in tow for an exquisite display of "what the f***" sailing through the air across the map through a roller coaster and into the sea.

As opposed to the CODS and the GTAS and the seriously business games that are always released, it is games like this that allows you to appreciate not caring. When I first played this game, I laughed. When I continued playing, yeah the laughing became more like a chuckle. I didn't know what to expect. I didn't see any game reviewers or youtubers play the game, I played it blind, and from that I got the full experience. I would look for the easter eggs and the references to my favorite movies and games. I'd explore the world and try to break it. Because it was different. It wasn't a cookie-cutter game.

    Now for the review:

    Pros:
    -Very beautiful art style.
    -Graphics are pretty nice for a quickie
    -Very destructive world, good for stress relief
    -Interesting physics, which is a part of why the hilarity works
    -Other goat classes to choose from, all with different powers, abilities, and quirks
    -A publisher that actually cares about the game they create. (Sidenote they released new content for free as "dlc" as a joke.) And they actually talk to their fans.

    Neutral:
    -The game is buggy, which is a part of why it is amusing. The bugs aren't gamebreaking, but amusing.
    -Gravity is ridiculous in this game, which makes for amusing and immediate lols

    Cons:
    -It's not really worth the money
    -It gets old fast

    So overall, complaining about the obvious flaws that were purposefully left in there (bugs, etc) is like pointing out the unrealism of Star Wars. Who cares? It's a movie/form of entertainment.     This game is unusually funny. Not only is it fun to play and mess around with but it also feels like you can do whatever you want (Mainly because you can do anything with the goat). I know this game is obviously going to get a lot of hate, because people think its a big waist of time. Oddly I think its one of the funniest, exciting, hilarious, and fun PC games out there. I would give this game a good review anyday because it is funny and enjoyable. There are plenty of things to do such as lick humans, fly jetpacks and so on. The update added way more stuff including a whole new map with much more to do and more goats to play. AThis game is meant to be a joke.     While fun at first, the game gets old very quickly. Secrets to find within the game make it interesting at times and some of the glitches purposefully left in the game give a few chuckles, but other than that it's a rather mediocre game based off of an outdated Internet meme.

    I laughed a bit with the funky physics engine glitches, but in the end, it felt like one of those games where it is severely over-hyped by YT commentators.
    Limited map, crap AI (if you could even call it AI, the NPCs don't even move half of the time), and an overall dull, monotonous, repetitive, unrelieved, unvaried, unimaginative, uneventful piece of crap.

    Stay away from this game.

    Literally the best game I have ever played. It blows Ocarina of Time and GTA IV out of the water. You can preform satanic rituals. That, and the ability to be a goat is anything anyone would ever want in a game. 10/10 game of the millennium.

    The game is great and its lots of fun to play. even though it is 10$ its great to be able to support the team that put it together for people to enjoy :)

    Goat Simulator is an unusual game. In this game you can run aimlessly, destroy cars, licking everything, use ragdoll and turn on slow motion. Thanks to the game I know that a goat's lick is infinitely long. Music is depending on dynamism of action. There is extremely many bugs but it adds the charm to the game.     A great game just to goof around with. Can entertain me for a few hours, good game to just play if you had one too many beers. I look forward to updates from Coffee Stain to make Goat Simulator more entertaining.

    Watch the trailer before you purchase this game. For $10, I thought it was well worth the laugh. Funny physics and challenges remind me of playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater for the N64 as a kid. The novelty does wear off quickly though.

    It is what all gamers have always wanted a super realistic sim where you can be a goat as he lives his normal boring life as a goat.

    Just kidding it is pretty much the complete opposite but you know what it is some of the most fun I have had with a video game since saints row 4 and that is saying something.     This game doesn't even last long. You have a little bit of fun with everything then suddenly its just boring when you see that MICHAEL BAY text for like the third time. sure the game has mutators but that just gets boring too. Maybe if the game had more Maps then it would be worth going back to see the new jokes the game has. but for now I cannot even laugh while playing this game.

    Personally, this game is a lot more fun to watch than to actually play. The game is also quite deceiving and requires a lot to run. It takes about 2 hours to get bored.
