    Poor optimization, not a low-end device friendly , when you play on controller and use something like square for example i use square for normal attacks and here`s the bad part: it holds the square by itself like it`s charging attack by itself and this is a horrible thing to experience.

    they didn`t add controller support for mobile devices yet (i played on android and there was no controller support - idk about iOS) i consider it like developer laziness.

    they don`t improve their optimization even it`s while now since the game released.

    Note: my Android device is Xiaomi MI 9 SE and my laptop specs are:
    I7 4600U
    10 GB RAM DDR3
    246 GB SSD
    INTEL HD 4400

    I know my device specs are bad but the game needs good device for just this poor graphics.

    genshin impact is a very boring game where the main task is to find a brother or sister, but the fact is that we are sent somewhere and given additional quests that are in no way connected with the main plot in the form of a grind for several hours a day for the sake of 30-minute gameplay, of which 2/3 is dialogue and a little interesting gameplay.

    the russian localization is a joke a lot of mistakes and the lines is repeating
    i have no reasons anymore to play or support this game its uncomfortable and disgustion to play into it

    Eu joguei o jogo, tentei realmente gostar dele, mas ele me decepcionou em MUITOS níveis.
    Vamos começar com a gameplay: ela é repetitiva e chata, você não sente prazer matando os inimigos, que por sinal são um CTRL + C, CTRL + V dos Bokos, porém mais magros; eles não tem uma variedade grande, é fácil matar eles e você não sente nenhum desafio, somente quando vai lutar com algum boss de    Eu joguei o jogo, tentei realmente gostar dele, mas ele me decepcionou em MUITOS níveis.
    Vamos começar com a gameplay: ela é repetitiva e chata, você não sente prazer matando os inimigos, que por sinal são um CTRL + C, CTRL + V dos Bokos, porém mais magros; eles não tem uma variedade grande, é fácil matar eles e você não sente nenhum desafio, somente quando vai lutar com algum boss de level mais alto que seu personagem (e mesmo assim é fácil, eu matei um boss lvl 30 com a Amber no lvl 12).
    Vendo os trailers, deu a entender que o jogo era focado na exploração, assim como no BoTW, mas a diferença é que não tem NADA para explorar, apenas lugares que são vazios e idênticos uns com os outros.
    No jogo você basicamente anda, escala e mata inimigos aleatórios. Sem contar da limitação de jogo, que logo após completar o ato 1 do prólogo, te obriga a upar seu AR até o 18, o que além de ser difícil (no sentido ruim), é MUUITO demorado, fazendo com que você tenha que ir atrás de inimigos que são os mesmos durante as 30 horas de gameplay.
    Eu não recomendo NINGUÉM jogar, procure outra coisa que realmente vale a pena, pois este aqui faz você abandonar todos seus outros jogos para focar 100% nele.    … Expand

    Now the game does have good worldbuilding( taken from Legend of Zelda and copied scene by scene). The OST is good but that is al it has to offer.
    For first 10 days I played like crazy. But as soon as my world level started to become higher like 2,3... then the evil of the game starts to show. The game wants you to complete a mission but    Okay oh my , what a difficult journey it is.

The game wants you to complete a mission but youhave a low level character which can't be ascended as we can't fight bosses by ourselves and multiplayer does't work since another mission is impossible for me with lower character. It's a eternal loop. The multiplayer is total scam.You can't explore some parts of game since you have not unlocked key features. Thus to increase xp you have to farm but normal battles harly give you any xp. To get new characters from free passes you have to unlock floors in dungeons which is impossible with low level characters without lots of food items.Again answer is long days of farming.

    Like at this point this game is not even proper farm based,open work nor a proper multiplayer based.

Чтобы проходить скучнейшие квесты по часу реального времени? Шанс что-то выбить стремится к нулю, это написано в самой игре. Работающий человек просто физически не успеет выбить персонажа из баннера.     A review from AR 57 player. The story is far from decent, feel too rushed. Gacha system is rigged, you have to spent at least $100 to get a 5 star (chance 50:50 to get promoted character) or $200 to get a guaranteed promoted 5 star.

Начиналось все неплохо, разрабы старались и работали над игрой, игроков баловали премиум валютой в достатке, персонажи выходили годными и играбельными без особых условий, любые косяки сразу исправлялись и присылали компенсацию на почту. Но потихоньку с каждым новым персонажем политика компании Михуе началасьУвы, спустя год игры проект превратился в донатную помойку как и любая мобилка... Начиналось все неплохо, разрабы старались и работали над игрой, игроков баловали премиум валютой в достатке, персонажи выходили годными и играбельными без особых условий, любые косяки сразу исправлялись и присылали компенсацию на почту. Но потихоньку с каждым новым персонажем политика компании Михуе началась меняться. Отныне чтобы новые персонажи были играбельными, им требуется сигнатурное оружие и пару созвездий, на все пожелания игроков кладется толстый болт, кошмарят ютуберов которые сливают любую инфу о грядущик баннерах и мероприятиях в игре. С каждым новым патчем придумываются новые способы выкачки последних денег из ваших кошельков.
    Геймплей в этом казино, представляет из себя ежедневный вход в игру, выполнение 4ех ежедневных квеста и слив смолы за пару тройку походов в данж. ВСЕ! 15-20 минут геймплея в день. Главная проблема этой игры-гребанная смола(анало энергии) без которой ты абсолютно ничего не можешь сделать. Либо жди либо донать, альтернатив нет. Терь пару слов о сюжете и лоре. Сюжет детский и абсолютно не интересный, за персонажей вообще не переживаешь т к с ними точно ничего не случится, максимум пару синяков. Куча клише и роялей присутствуют. Разрабы не развивают ни лор персонажей ни лор мира в целом.
    Последний сюжет связанный с инадзумой-полный провал. Так бездарно слить конфликт и интересы сторон надо постараться. Кароче новички не играйте в эту помойку поберегите ваши деньги.    … Expand

    The game looks really nice, however, it doesn't support the invert Y-axis option, thus it's not playable for me. I tried to get used to non-inverted mouse, but I've given it up after a while and uninstalled the game. I don't believe a game in 2021 doesn't have such an essential accessibility option, it's a blocker for significant minority of players.

В ней в принципе по-прежнему приятно находиться: красивые локации, отличная музыка, работа актеров озвучки...     Mihoyo is totally disconnected from the community, no communication, no news, refusal to implement QOL features and fixes to bugs. They have spent 10 million dollars in renting genshin tags for twitter for a single day instead of actually rewarding the playerbase with in game items, how scummy can Mihoyo ever be?

How hard is it to reward players a little bit more heck even why doesn't the company emhpasize that it's literally the FIRST anniversary? Exploiting players for free coverage and publicty as well.     Все замечательно начиналось, однако начиная с обновления 2.0 значительно снизилось качество контента. Визуальное и музыкальное наполнение по прежнему на высоте, последний регион не отстает от предыдущих. В остальном же, будто делается на коленке. Скомканный и неинтересный сюжет, персонажи сделанные для выкачивания денег (для играбельности нужно получить персонажа 2-3 раза, зависимость отВсе замечательно начиналось, однако начиная с обновления 2.0 значительно снизилось качество контента. Скомканный и неинтересный сюжет, персонажи сделанные для выкачивания денег (для играбельности нужно получить персонажа 2-3 раза, зависимость от сигнатурного оружия), последним же гвоздем в крышку гроба стала годовщина игры. А имеено отсутствие наград, 10 роллов входящих в стандартное количество примогемов за патч. Казалось бы, можно сгладить углы и вернуть расположение людей выдав хотя бы уникальный косметический предмет, не повлияющий на прибыль, но нет. Так же полностью отсутствует контакт с комьюнити, полное игнорирование всех проблем, жалоб и нулевая отдача на неистовый праведный гнев своих игроков.
    Я люблю эту игру, она прекрасна. И мне больно наблюдать за тем, во что ее превращают своими последними действиями разработчики.    … Expand

    Beautiful game ruined by a greedy company who ignores their playerbase and keeps introducing underwhelming units and mechanics to the game, which is already stale by itself.

Invez de darem boas recompensas fizeram um sorteio e chamaram de evento que não da nem pra dar um tiro no gacha onde apenas 1000 pessoas podem ganhar de uma comunidade de mais de 20 milhões de players.
    O jogo tem um pessimo sistema de drop farmei por 60 dias inteiros    jogo não valoriza seus players dando recompensas muito abaixo de medíocre no ano novo e agora no aniversario de 1 ano. Invez de darem boas recompensas fizeram um sorteio e chamaram de evento que não da nem pra dar um tiro no gacha onde apenas 1000 pessoas podem ganhar de uma comunidade de mais de 20 milhões de players.
    O jogo tem um pessimo sistema de drop farmei por 60 dias inteiros gastando toda a resina em uma unica dungeon e só consegui artefatos mais ou menos.
    Recompensa de missões diarias são muito poucas e não permitem nem dar um tiro no gacha.

    The dreaded Resin has ruined the game for most, as far as I've seen, in a way that if it's not fixed soon Mihoyo may not be able to come back from.     The dreaded Resin has ruined the game for most, as far as I've seen, in a way that if it's not fixed soon Mihoyo may not be able to come back from.

    The game has immeasurable potential, to the point where i'd argue it could even contend for GOTY, but when the higher level gameplay, after the current main questline, is restricted to 2 to 6 activities daily taking no more than half an hour at most then the game is doomed to lose most of it's player base.

    After all, why play a game that you can't, well, play. Even whales will most likely see the lack of sense in dropping thousands of Dollars on characters and weapons they won't be able to enjoy using due to the extreme limitations stopping them from effectively leveling said characters and weapons up.

    Just the other day I rolled a new character, not one I really wanted a great deal but I'd still like to try them out, but since I got her she's been relegated to running the in game 20hour "expeditions" where the character becomes unavailable to use but comes back after that time with a small amount of resources.

    If this system didn't exist, or at the very least was reworked to be far less, or not at all, restricting then I'd happily give the game a 9/10, but right now I can't bring myself to give it a score higher than 3 because what use is a computer game you can't play as much as you want to?

    Imagine if Skyrim restricted you to 4 side missions and 2 main mission a day, and if you wanted to kill a boss during any of them it cost you one of your limited missions? There's no way it would be as successful as it was.

    Happy customers stick around, they're returning customers, but Mihoyo right now has a whole lot of very unhappy and frustrated customers on their hands and they're about to lose a lot of people that may have otherwise invested in their Battle Pass and Monthly "Welkin Moon" pseudo-subscription. Is that really worth the Resin system? I don't think so    … Expand

    I don't even know how i can explain how bad i feel about starting to play this game. At te beginning isn't that bad, actually its pretty cool but when you reach the end content it gets extremly boring and without content. The gatcha system is predatorius, even the rewards events from the anniversary suck's and they still don't listen to the comunity....

    Buen juego pero muy mal aprovechado el mundo abierto con mecánicas o precios un poco abusivas y caros, mas de un año jugando y perdí mi tiempo y esperanza por cambios que mejorasen el propio juego pero unas recompensas de mierda para una fecha tan importante como el 1 aniversario fue la copa que rebaso el vaso.

    Os problemas são os mesmos desde o início do jogo e a empresa não se importa em resolver. Incentivam as pessoas a gastar em armas e personagens "mais fortes"(nem sempre é o caso) e não existe conteúdo em que usar esse nível de "força"

    Game was a 7 or 8 until the 2.2 update. Now the game takes at least 5 minutes to launch IF it'll even launch that is. Tried verifying file Integrity also and that didn't work. Guess Mihoyo intended 2.2 to not be able to run.

    I have never seen such a massive disappointment of a game that fails at everything get so popular, this is probably one of the most overhyped games ever. The developers were lucky enough to combine world exploration with gacha isekai story and they failed horribly at both.

    The gacha is mediocre at best, some of the lowest rates and highest pity I've seen in all gachas, on top of that    I have never seen such a massive disappointment of a game that fails at everything get so popular, this is probably one of the most overhyped games ever.     The gacha is mediocre at best, some of the lowest rates and highest pity I've seen in all gachas, on top of that you have 50% chance to miss the banner character, combined with every banner limited and standard banner being a literal waste / trashcan where you can drop your free pulls. It's literally a slot machine on a strict timer before it explodes and you won't be able to pull on a character you wanted for like 6 months or more. The materials you get for dupes and pulls can be spent on 2 useful things every month, nothing else is worth it.

    The only good thing is guaranteed banner 5* on second 5* pull, but I think that this makes the gacha lose it's spirit and basically slapping a price sign on every character. Unfortunately you will have to spend most of if not all 160 pulls to get to that guaranteed part, for a F2P player this is very damaging, it takes multiple months to save up for just for one 5* so you might end up pulling only one character you wanted every 5-6 months, this happened to me. And even if you are a low budget player you will still struggle greatly but you may cut the time by one month, I don't recommend buying anything other than the monthly card (!! be very careful with the monthly card, if you don't log in for a day the primogems for that day will be gone (basically you are paying to log in every day !!) ).

    The constellation system is a huge whale bait, basically requiring you to pull the same character multiple times to be useful or up to 5x more powerful. WEAPON BANNER oh god don't let me even get started on that, even if the cost of it was decreased by half it would be still horrible, It's insane that a 5* stat stick will require as many pulls as a full character. People saying that this game is not pay to win are either high on copium or didn't play the game enough.

    Ah yes the "world exporation isakai" bleuugh.. It's sad to see so many people get baited by this because it's one of the most popular things, the escapism, being reborn in a fantasy world. Too bad this is one of the weakest fantasy worlds you will ever see, the story is so bad that people care more about the cooking system.... World exploration is only good for the first time after that it becomes annoying and repetitive, just like 90% of the enemies. Even new zones are just copy paste of the old ones to the point that new zones don't even count as new.

    The endgame is non-existent, the powercreep is getting worse and worse, every 4* character is getting replaced by a 5*. The enemies are getting more and more annoying, jumping all over the place, teleporting and flying, while you have very limited movement and stamina, It's like they are forcing you to either use characters that do more damage or characters that are easier to use, eliminating even more skill that's needed to play this mess, like the auto-aim on everything wasn't enough.

    Not even gonna mention how the developer and the community behaves, you have probably seen it all anyways, I'm just wondering how people can completely ignore all this and continue to support this mess, even if you like the game a lot, the community and developer will make you hate it.    … Expand

Also you can about pity a 5 star in 2 months not including the 50% chance you have to get the featured one. Do not spend on this game when jt takes about 300$ to pity the event character.

Complete four stupid daily errands, spend your resin (1 unit per 8 min) and that's it for today. It takes 20 minutes at best. Ok, you can spend 15 min more if there are some events.    … Expand

    On one side, there's the art, music, writing, animation team who did such a wonderful job so players can feast their eyes and ears on their work.
    On the other side, you have the business decision team who're actively trying to prevent players from playing and enjoying the game with terrible gacha rates, inflated prices, resource shortage, over monetization    This game is in war right now.

    Players are torn between praising the game's visuals, score and writing and loathing pretty much everything else. So far, the bad business guys are winning, hence my score of 3. The art team can't produce content fast enough while the bad business team is slowly chipping away our motivation to play every day.

    If you can play this ignoring all the business/limitations, just for the story, playing very casually over months, then you'll enjoy the game a lot.
    If you want to play until you have your fill, assuming that fill is more than 15min/day, then you'll curse the game's bad decisions for not letting you enjoy it.

    I don't think it's worth playing it in it's current state, wait until there's more content and that these issues are (hopefully) fixed.    … Expand

    Genshin to me is not a game, it's a gacha with a thing that sort of looks like a game attached to it. If you're looking for a good game to play, don't waste your time even downloading this. If on the other hand you want to waste a lot of drive space on bloated digital trash, spend a lot of money getting digital waifus, that may be censored later, and want to be treated like trash, that is only valued for the money you are meant to spend, then that's strange, but Genshin is absolutely for you.    … Expand

    However, later on its just resin wall.
    Artifact system is just copy from other gacha, without the dev realizing that other gacha don't have stamina wall and can be auto farm. Lastly, weekly boss drop is so pathetic, they will drop only material you don't need. Well, yes and no. in the right circumstance of creating something new and great yes but this isn't it. It's a copy of a popular game to sell gacha, nothing more. Environments and mechanics were lifted straight out of BotW to sell this generic, low-key slotA generic gacha clone of Breath of the Wild. You might be thinking "HEY! isn't being inspired by a Zelda game a good thing?" Well, yes and no. in the right circumstance of creating something new and great yes but this isn't it. It's a copy of a popular game to sell gacha, nothing more. Environments and mechanics were lifted straight out of BotW to sell this generic, low-key slot machine featuring poorly animated females.

    good:
    * Looks nice but that's a given since it's a clone of a good looking game
    * Element reactions are fun
    * Exploring has it's moments

    Bad:

    * lack of main story content

    * often, poor subtitles don't match what the characters are saying

    * cringe dialogue that is neither engaging or smart, really just grown people acting and sounding like children

    * MC is thousands of years old, was a powerhouse (loses his powers ala Samus) and yet acts and looks like a teenager without the street savviness you'd expect from someone that is thousands of years old

    * Everything is a grind-fest. Weapon? Grind materials, mora (in-game gold) and experience items. characters? skills? level up? food items? weapon refining? EVERYTHING is a soul-sucking grind-fest
    of multiple materials locked behind chambers only open certain IRL days of the week and costs insane amounts of mora so you'll constantly be grinding with minor returns. or you could grease the gears a little bit (or a lot) with some cold hard cash *nudge*nudge*.

    * co-op is a mess, want to play with just one friend? TOO BAD! we are sticking you with random people whether or not you like it! We'll also randomly drop people in mid-match for cannon fodder.

    * Low summon (aka gambling) rates. Ironically, the rates are so bad to get some animated boobs most weebs would probably have better luck IRL.

    * can someone explain why I need flowers to ascend a character to a new level? Do they eat the damn flowers?! None of this crap makes any sense. They didn't even try. You don't have 1000 masks of the many slain Hilichurls (which they have lowered rates on after all pre-mature ejaculation from weebs)? Too bad, now you can't be stronger.

    * The main point of the game (unfortunately) and the worst: boobs look like jello unmitigated by gravity so just standing still they are flying all over the place S E P A R A T E L Y. Again, cringe community proud of their pathetic cringe so don't bother trying to discuss this with anyone who identifies as Otaku or weeb. Imagine if they incorporated these unrealistic physics on a guys crotch. You'll have their two balls flying around just standing still. Hilarious...until the weeb community gets involved and does their cringe crap.

    * Otaku community. If you aren't one of them, you'll have a bad time interacting with the community. Every other sentence is blatant predatory and cringe. You'll never meet a group of more pathetic people proud of being sexual predators. What's worse, majority of characters are at least modeled after to be/act/look like teenagers or children to up the creep meter.

    * game gets a free pass to be **** because it's f2p and the target demographic (pathetic teens with no money and pathetic man-babies with no friends) eat this anime loli **** up.

    * main story quests are locked behind Adventure Rank (levels). there are only two main story arcs. the second one is an annoying long fetch quest. go here get this, bring this there, ad nauseam. The rest is just terrible filler junk that will have you roaming around looking for materials and treasure chests until you've lost your grip on reality and fun.

    * every sidequests is some pathetic sob story: "my daddy's gone I miss him...can you deliver this one flower to him thousands of miles away for 200 mora?"

    * Paimon

    * Limited interaction with the random people you find in the world. Just some basic dialogue usually.

    * Other thoughts: I wish there was more enemies vs enemies situations. It pretty much seems the entire world is out to get you. There are times you will fight treasure hoarders, Fatui and whopper flower all at once. Somehow, there is a secret pact that if they see you in the world they will team up to **** your **** up. Also, NPC friendlies don't react to their environment and are unaffected by enemies around them.

    all in all: it's everything you'd expect from a gacha, crappy rates, poor storytelling, all in a attempt to sell you some animated boobs. This game is the definition of the ongoing battle between the West vs East of gaming. This type of gaming is popular in Asian countries where "fun" is often times synonymous with "grind-fest" and misinterpreted as "rewarding". There's enough articles out there that go into depth about the split of the gaming community but you'll quickly see the fans of this title will be, by and large, Asian. Youtubers don't count as they are just following the money and are often paid advertisements promoting the **** out of this terrible game.    … Expand

    The story is really good, but why tf the developers are releasing a game with only 20% of the story done? This game has 7 nations but we can only access 2 of them right now, and they are planning to release the others nation in several years, like wtf are you sure the players are still playing and not bored?
    The gacha system is even worse, they said this is an rpg game, but you can only get characters from gacha and the rate are very low for some good characters. If you want to upgrade your characters, you also need to get another same character through the gacha system again.
    Resin system is even worse, you get only little resin daily and can't really do anything daily. I played for only 15 minutes daily because of the limited resin system.
    This game surely has potential and I hope the developers could really update the game and make better system.    … Expand

    Rather than a typical online game, Genshin Impact resembles a traditional single-player jRPG with a real-time combat. For a free-to-play title it is very impressive, but turns out to be pretty derivative and quickly slumps into monotony. [13/2020, p.52]

    Oh, the joy of exploring this beautiful world. Oh, the clever combat, the great voice acting, the compelling story. This is one of the best RPGs of the year. And it’s almost beyond comprehension that you can get it for free.

    Overall, in spite of things that should bring Genshin Impact down, the game is so much fun to play that the negatives are ultimately minor gripes. [...] The gameplay is smooth and simplistic, and it works great on all platforms - though I’m still not sure why the PlayStation version can’t be linked to a Mihoyo account so I could play on my phone when I’m not at home (PS Vita version please??) but it’s a small gripe to an otherwise terrific game.
