    Красивая красочная игра ну с полным отсутствием контента с самого выхода игры из всего нового контента который может предложить игра это новые персонажи которые под конец года мягко говоря выходили ну совсем хреновыми мало того что для каждого персонажа теперь ещё требуется выбить оружие консту которая падает по гаранту 50%50 так в персонажей ещё и требовалось денежное вложение чтобы ониКрасивая красочная игра ну с полным отсутствием контента с самого выхода игры из всего нового контента который может предложить игра это новые персонажи которые под конец года мягко говоря выходили ну совсем хреновыми мало того что для каждого персонажа теперь ещё требуется выбить оружие консту которая падает по гаранту 50%50 так в персонажей ещё и требовалось денежное вложение чтобы они могли раскрыть весь свой потенциал которые в принципе не нужны поскольку в игре нет не каких трудностей проходить весь контент и начальными персонажами хорошо собранными так как в игре есть только 1 хай контент это бездна которая обновляется раз в пол месяца и проходится максимум за час, так же в игре появляются новые регионы, локации очень красочные красивые тут не поспоришь ну которые полностью мертвы после недели игры в них от слова нечего делать есть куча мобов ну и они же нужны только для возвышения оружия и персонажей, каждые пол месяца у нас проходят ивенты ну зачастую эти ивенты пойди убей 10-15 мобов и приходи через 3 дня по скольку весь контент в игре ну очень растянут, а в награду вы получите пару десятков примогемов 5-6 книжек улучшения персонажей которых надо сотнями на самих персонажей и пару тысяч моры так же надо на 1 персонажа или оружие не 1 десяток тысяч моры. Я как игрок которому нужен больше хай контент в виде групповых рейдов с реально сложными и интересными механиками и уникальными наградами не вижу смысла от новых персонажей и оружия сам же я перестал крутить гачу после того как получил эолу на данный момент у меня 60К примогемов и они мне на хрен не сдались, как и все другие активности и награды. Все кто будет начинать играть в эту игру скажу пару слов про ваш геймплей после того как сделаете весь сюжет и соберёте по большой части все секреты сундуки у вас будет 50+ ранг и тут начнётся самое уныние, каждый день это полу часовой забег в игру в виде 4 ежедневок возможно закрытие ивента на 5 минут закрытие одиночных ворлд боссов, а их 5 уйдёт на это минут 10 в скобочках ворлд боссов по скольку сами же эти боссы не представляют сложности и шотаются с пару авто атак ну и если бездна не на кд то раз в пол месяца вы ещё потратите около полу часа на бездну, это всё что у вас будет по геймплею, а ну и чуть не забыл про смолу ну тут ещё минуток 10, чтоб сбегать в данж за артефактом который вам выпадет скорей всего через месяц и дай бог что через месяц, сам же я уже не бегал сливать смолу около 2 месяцев как я и говорил мне это всё уже нахрен не сдалось и всю проходится на ура. Ну да и пару слов про годовщину тут михуёшки сделали полный обосрамс в виде 10 круток и могли б хотя б добавить уникальную с тематикой годовщины аватарку или крылья, а может и скин на главного героя.… Expand

The graphics are more or less, maybe even the only plus in the game is that you can look at the loli asses of the characters.     Essentially just a casino for children. Colourful characters, some great exploration and music, coupled with barely legal predatory monetisation.

    Recent character releases have been unfinished and buggy, the writing sketchy at best, and the recent anniversary debacle shows just how checked out the company is.

    Avoid.

    спасибо за член в рот так сказать, игра и без того умудряется нередко обсираться во всём кроме визуала и музыки, а тут ещё и такое отношение к комьюнити, вообще убивает желание играть в игру лол

    The game is awesome sadly was made by mihoyo. The game can be great but prepare to see you opinion censored. Also they're using the gacha monetizing but no the gacha rewards. And the anniversary is the biggest joke i have seen. It's enough already.

    wow, 100k mora and 10 wishes... so for this anniversary ı wanna give to 1 mihoyo... So if u'r new player there is so much to do but when u are reach ar 50+ there is literally nothing content for u. Just spend resin do daily misson and log off the game its all about 15 minute a day...

    The game itself is great, but the company behind it make worst and worst choises everytime. We're all angry because the aniversary "rewards" which is the straw that broke the camel's back. I don't think the game will live longer for another year at this point and all the money we spend on it will be lost

But it get worse, they ban everyone that "DARE" to ask them is this the real anni gift or just have any general negative feedback that doesn't say mihoyo is jesus christ. BUT you get to work for us with your artwork and cosplay so you may have a chance to compete with millions of people to earn back 1 DOLLAR.

    Story-wise, we don't have anything that is complete, only 3 out of 7?(may be more) chapters are available right now, and the dynamic of getting new chapters isn't too bright, given that it took 9 months for the 3rd to release, and another month for it to finish. Which is a shame, because the story is quite interesting, i'm not going to spoil anything, i'll just say, that even after a year playing the game i still find myself reading through dialogs and not skipping any cutscens.

    The gameplay is very deep, with vast world to explore and unique playable characters. By the way, that last point is one of the biggest problems with the game. Characters are either 4* or 5*, latter usually stronger, and are harder to get. On fact, so hard to get, that after a year of playing you'd have 5-6 5* characters, if you're a f2p. There are also 5* weapons, which are as rare as the characters. And there are artifacts, with rng so bad, i have been farming them for 3 months not getting ANYTHING decent. A nice adventure becomes -log in, do daily commissions, go get 5-6 bad artifacts, log out, repeat the next day-. Talking about characters it's hard to not point to the lack of balance: some 5* characters are useless, some are extremely strong for no apparent reason, some 4* characters are extremely strong, some are useless. That would be the problem if you were the one choosing, but in reality it's gacha that decides your fate.    … Expand

    This is most disappointing game I've ever played, it has so much potential, it could be one of the best free to play games and all of this goes to trash, obtaining characters by wishes was good until number of characters reach 15, gaining the one you wanted now is impossible and you cant buy it any other way than by buying wishes with real money or waiting year for bigger chance.     This game gets a -3/10 from me, because it's gameplay is maliciously designed to be bad.
    - Character and gameplay mechanics regularly don't work (for example Sucrose's first normal attack often fails to trigger and EVERY movement and camera system is half-programmed).
    - Artifact mechanics are 80% unspecified and very inconsistent. - Hitboxes and enemy attack tracking are often unfair    This game gets a -3/10 from me, because it's gameplay is maliciously designed to be bad.
    - Character and gameplay mechanics regularly don't work (for example Sucrose's first normal attack often fails to trigger and EVERY movement and camera system is half-programmed).
    - Artifact mechanics are 80% unspecified and very inconsistent.
    - Hitboxes and enemy attack tracking are often unfair and the resource systems are designed to be traps for players who don't have a PHD in Genshin Impact mechanics and math.
    - Artifact and character RNG is so bad even playing for a whole year every day won't give you enough resources for the hard and reasonable content to play to feel moderately easy.
    - The devs regularly patch the game, but if you read the patch notes, they never fix gameplay/quality of life things that have been broken from the start, they pretty much only fix compatibility issues for phones so that more and more new players can come to the game, spend their money, and then leave.
    - It's disguised as a game where you can collect characters and builds... But you don't collect most of them, you don't get to pick which characters, and you don't get to level up and play most of them.

    They basically got like 3 inexperienced programmers, 3 random artists, and made a game that wastes massive amounts of money and time from players. It may or may not be an extreme example of how much money can systematically force most products to have bad quality.    … Expand

    The game has great potential. Being the most successful game to break the fastest earning records within a short period of time, breaking the 1billion record and all. And has potential to earn even more and revolutionize the open world game genre in multiple platforms.

    BUT…
    all those hard work of blood, swear, and artistic tears are smeared by:
    - the lack of Quality of Life improvements,
    - limited “energy” (this game called it “Resin”) with mobile games limitation
    - limiting the gameplay and enjoyment of players to truly enjoy and immersed in the game keeps it short;
    - the greedy and stingy company’s decisions: becoming more stingy and stingy (compared to their generosity near launch a year ago vs. anniversary rewards/celebration),
    - unwilling to listen and adapt to players’ feedbacks,
    - pure PR disaster of fans giving the game bad reviews due to the lack anniversary rewards/celebration,
    - that PR disaster also spills bad review onto other games/apps store pages too,
    - more PR disaster of blatantly censoring players’ opinions (especially negative ones, despite being constructive and wanting to improve the game)…
    - more and more bad “design” decisions developing short-term game features that gamers will abandon once they get “the Catch” or reach max rank for the Teapot Housing system, etc.

    TLDR this game is becoming its own worst enemy because it became so successful overnight, and the company has no idea how to carry on forward, especially by ignoring its fanbase that contributed a lot to the game success in the first place.    … Expand

    Now, almost 1 year later almost nothing has changed. Maybe you can change the 20 hours to 30 or maybe even 40, but that's it. The endgame is    A fellow reviewer wrote in October 2020:

    Now, almost 1 year later almost nothing has changed. Maybe you can change the 20 hours to 30 or maybe even 40, but that's it. The endgame is basically non-existent with no future improvements in sight. After catching up with the story and exploring the majority of the world there's only a daily, repetitive grind of ~30 min. Sometimes there are events that increase the time to 40-45min.

    Regarding rewards, the company is rather greedy. Usually, there is about one new "rare" character every 6 weeks. On average getting that character once requires around 105 pulls, but as f2p you don't even get a pull every day. Furthermore, similar to other gacha games, pulling a character multiple types improves it. This is literally impossible to max as f2p and costs multiple 100 bucks as spender. As f2p you best quit after the story, as light spender you can maybe have fun for some additional time and as whale you're just burning money.

    Don't play the game now, rather treat it as early access. Wait a couple of years until the story and all regions are completed, then you can enjoy the game.. for a while. Playing right now and grinding out your characters is just a frustrating chore that is unlikely to yield significant advantages in the long run.    … Expand

    This game is just crude and lavicious gambling! So I stopped play this game and I delete my account! And if gacha (or lootboxes) still horrible, I'll NOT RECOMMENDED ANYONE TO PLAY THIS GAME!

    I did not like it. Just timekiller with beautiful graphic and good soundtrack, but no more. The plot is interesting at first, but then begin silly quests like "Go do (any action here)" or "Bring me (any item here)". This mechanic is outdated and just annoying. Also I, as men, was not quite accustomed to being surrounded by women(you need more variety among the characters, this will makeI did not like it.     1 roll and 100 primogems for web-event wow, there 1.5 roll in total and wawe of bans on every resource where they have at least some kind of control for LITERALLY SAD EMOJIS

    Может хватит бухтеть и дестабилизировать ситуацию в игре?

    К тому же.. есть инфа от знающего человека, что у нас в Геншине скоро ожидаются реальные изменения. После того, как стабилизируют ситуацию с балансом персонажей, исправят реакции (Перегузка - не играбельна). Тогда везде и начнут выдавать 5-тизвёздочных персонажей и нормальные награды. Ци-Ци поднимут и будут держать, киты ничего не смогут сделать. Сейчас главное не бухтеть.

    От нас требуется сидеть тихо. После того, как все сделают, все будет у нас хорошо. Всем устроят довольствие, как в Хонкае - каждый будет кататься в масле. Главное сейчас сидеть тихо и не суетиться. Никаких срачей на форумах, никаких забастовок. Просто переждать, и всё будет хорошо, там все схвачено.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It has started beautifully, but current situation is a mess :(( The Anniversary "Rewards" are just the last straw that broke the camel's back and now the community is lashing out hard... which I can understand. I also want to lash out.

    I'm a relatively new player - started playing only 17th July 2021 and fell in love with this game hard and fast. Primarily because of lore, plot and characters - it's very hard to describe just how great the narration is (was at the beginning). The conflicts and mysteries plotwise were superb, the voiseacting just plain fantastic (my deepest respect to VAs), the gameplay - tons and tons of fun... But then we've got what we've got. The "resolution" of Inazuma questline - and I use quotation marks very deliberately.

    I'll repeat, I'm relatively new and also very casual - I admit, I'm ready to forgive many issues which matters a lot to others, like new characters being weak. I, though, cannot deny it. I disagree with community about Baal (Ei) - I find her quite strong and useful even C0 and without signature weapon, personally I think she is great... but even I cannot make sense of Kokomi. How was she supposed to work; why a "healer" has Hydro damage bonus and must be on the field while ulting (and as DD she is... subpar); seriously, what is this and why?

    But I can forgive this. What I cannot forgive is the rushed "resolution", in which Resistance was just forgotten (plotwise it wasn't even needed that much, it appears, which is a big wtf). In which Ei's personality is mismatched to the point of not making sense - you cannot be both Zhongli (as Rex Lapis, before retirement) and Venti at the same time. You cannot claim that you are concerned about your people and wish them well; be present enough so the will of Shogun is something people feel and respect, be there... and simultaneously not be there, because HOW THE HECK DID YOU NOT NOTICE THE FREAKING CIVIL WAR IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY, OH MY GOD. If you ARE the ruler who is present, then let your puppet stroll and observe and see. If you are done, than you are done - leave your people to govern themselves like Venti did. Otherwise you make no sense and your talk about "not wishing to stop people's lives from getting better" sounds plain delusional. Also Scaramouch story is just dropped on us out of nowhere and is so "told, not shown" that it feels utterly underwhelming.

    Like... I know for a fact that writers are talented. Liyue was astonishing, Mondstadt was also great (I like it less simply out of personal preference) and Inazuma started really glorious as well... So what happened? Why has it ended the way it ended?

    Story was murdered halfway. New characters are... questionable. And don't even let me get started on "rewards" for artists and cosplayers competitions, those are just insulting. And the Anniversary "rewards" are icicle on this cake - and so we are where we are.

    I love this game. And it is said that developers has listened to commumity before. I hope they will start doing so again - because I do not like where this is going ;__; They made this game great - so why are they ruining it?

The money you spent in those units? Gone, cause if you ask for a refund you'll get your account terminated. Female characters are sexualized to the extreme, even having young girls running there with her panties shoved at your face 24/7. The writing isnt even good, it's the most bland generic anime plot you've ever seen. Naruto's plot compared to this is Shakespeare tier.
    The combat system is horribly designed, heavily imbalanced towards certain elements and units, making meta a stationary thing that hasn't suffered even the slightest change since release. Oh, and there are a lot of units with fundamental problems in their kits never adressed and never balanced, cause Mihoyo doesnt give a damn about it and just want you to spend money on their new unit, tossing aside all previous problems.
    Dont play this game unless you are strictly F2P, cause the devs will laugh at your face, never ever communicate and practice scummy ethics with the game's development.    … Expand

    The resin system is bad. Western-style monetization models have proven to be better, it needs to go. All it does is hold back what could otherwise be a good game.

    The game is also incredibly easy outside of the abyss, almost to the point where you wonder why you're even playing.

    I enjoy this game less and less after every update... Especially at update 2.1 where they realized horribly balanced character and lock its utility under the pay wall. And there is no endgame accept farming artifact but that is limited unless you pay. Great game destroyed by greed.

    first of all, i suppose i will list the reasons i like this game

    2 the world itself - in other words, the world is pretty, the world building doesn't have a bunch of holes (yet) and i am genuinely intrigued by the story and what has happened leading up to it all. i have a few theories about that too.

    3 um... there's no "title" for this one, but the idea that it's basically the same graphics engine as legend of zelda breath of the wild is sorta cool i guess. that isn't what i like though. i like that rain doesn't make you slip while climbing and that lightning does not hunt you down for wearing metal equipment. *shudder*

    on to the things i dislike... far more numerous.

    1 primogems - in the beginning, you're young and hopeful. the beginning of a new adventure! then you get to ar30ish and BOOM primogems just stop being given to you. anybody who has played it enough would understand when i say you are hit by what feels like a solid wall that is your lack of resources. especially primogems. as a free player, you're mostly left with daily commissions giving 60 a day and the occasional event.

    2 resin - oh god, the resin. you are infinitely poor when it comes to resin. even if you go out of your way to use every bit you can get per day, it's still not enough. i've done the math and you get 180 in 24 hours. with that in mind, you're limited to 160 held resin at a time meaning you will need to sign in twice a day in order to use it all. next up, you can turn it into condensed resin. literally just taking 2 sets of 20 and turning it into an item that can be used for double rewards at any spot you would spend 20. that's cool and all, but that's limited to 5 too. you can only hold 5 condensed and 160 normal resin, so if you wanted to take a break for a few days, you're abandoning any you would have gotten past 160. (like i said, you face that limit daily too)

    3 artifacts - if you thought resin limitation was bad, let me tell you that one your key sources of strength comes from artifacts and you need resin to get any. resin costs are one thing, but it's such a ridiculous gamble to get anything good. i spent about 6 months specializing in building one character and have really only just completed her set. every other character of mine has effectively just been given had me downs or otherwise so-so stuff. that's a short version of why i loathe artifacts. i'll run out of space if i continued on just that topic so i'll skip it. *sigh*

    4 general resources - like i said earlier resources fall off a cliff once you reach a certain level, but not just primogems. there's mora(money), fragile resin (usable items to get regular resin), weapon upgrade materials, ingredients for cooking and character ascension and general treasure. ingredients, character materials mostly only respawn every 3 days, though ore is randomly generated each day. mining every spot i know of could get you 50-120 of the good ore depending on luck. speaking of which, the ore smiths have a daily limit too.

    5 weapons - 90% of weapons you get in game that are worth using are gotten through wishes, aka gambling. in fact it's very, very difficult finding anything higher than a 2 star in any chest you find. best being 5 star, arguably. you can technically make 4 star weapons, but those need a super ultra rare boss drop. it's actually easier to wish for new weapons, even with excessively limited primogems.

    6 wishes (aka gambling) - tied to primogem problems and weapon problems, the only method of getting anything good effectively, is wishing for them. literally and figuratively. let me do some math for you. a wish costs 160 primos. one day's quests give 60. you need to wish 90 times to guarantee the highest rarity item/character. but there's a 50/50 chance of getting the event one with a solid guarantee after one failure. you have a 50/50 chance of needing 180 wishes. so you need to do 240 days of commissions for a gamble or 480 days for a guarantee. or rely on winning that 1% random chance. all for a character banner that lasts 3 weeks. to be fair, gambling is always like that, but playing a game that has no real goal in mind except perfecting your team, it is a grueling, painstaking and rather gloomy process all while grinding for artifacts with no glimmer of hope either.

    7 censorship - lastly, you can't say a sentence without having stuff blacked out that you never would've imagined was a bad thing to say. honestly, most of it's really dumb, too. like k. it' no joke "k, period, i t apostrophe" is censored. russia's president's name is censored and a bunch of other nonsensical things. there are even specific times where you actually can't change your signature for a week.    … Expand

    Pros: The visuals look nice, and the dialogue can be funny at times.

    Cons: Gameplay aspects are mediocre, and the story has little substance; a recipe for hours upon hours of mind-numbing boredom.

    Summary: All-in-all, the game is alright if you like anime visuals and if you have plenty of time to waste. Personally, I'd rather spend my time playing something more interesting and unique.

    You can basically only play the game for 15 minutes daily before you are forced to buy more "resin" (energy). WIthout it you are unable to collect rewards of dungeons and enemy encounters. A fundemental part of every rpg, and this game.
    There is no way to level up your characters, and in general progress, after a certain point in the game without using these dungeons. In other words there is nothing else to do.
    The rates at which you unlock new characters through gambling are too low as well. And the amount of money spend on each roll is way too high.
    Though again, even if you get lucky, you will barely be able to play that character because you are not allowed to grind for the required materials without spending even more on microtransaction.

    Stay away from this game and the company behind it. They don't listen to their community. They spit on everyone, including paying customers.
    (Some more personal issues with this game):
    I am not really saying that the gameplay in Genshin is entirely bad, but there really is not much to do When you're unable to choose the characters you wish to play.
    (Daily logins with barely any rewards and the same repetitive and underwhelming tasks definitely take a toll on you after a while)
    The gacha, characters only being obtainable through lootboxes, is really pulling down the score of this game.
    Players who don't choose to spend 1000-20000$ on this game will never obtain the full constellation of even one character (bonuses and special properties which are added to the kit of a character, changing up the way the function)
    It especially is heartbreaking when you read the stories of a certain character which you unlock by playing them, through "friendship exp", getting to know them better. But you still cannot make that character function, and have the most fun with them without getting their constellations.

    Imagine Battlefront, but you need to pay 1000$ to unlock Vader as a playable character, and then another 6000$ to unlock all his abilities and passives. Collapse    … Expand

The combat can get old pretty quickly, even with lots of different characters because all enemies have the same strategy: stun lock small enemies, dodge and hit big enemies. The environment is somewhat interesting, but it still felt like a worse version of breath of the Wild. The movement is less satisfying, the environment is more bland, there are far less interactable elements other than the food components. Overall, an unsatisfying, unoriginal experience that was bogged down by stupid features and uninspired designs. The best thing I cna say about it is that it is basically an anime version of Breath of the Wild, but that's an insult to one of the greatest open world games to ever be made.… Expand

    Rather than a typical online game, Genshin Impact resembles a traditional single-player jRPG with a real-time combat. For a free-to-play title it is very impressive, but turns out to be pretty derivative and quickly slumps into monotony. [13/2020, p.52]

    Oh, the joy of exploring this beautiful world. Oh, the clever combat, the great voice acting, the compelling story. This is one of the best RPGs of the year. And it’s almost beyond comprehension that you can get it for free.

    Overall, in spite of things that should bring Genshin Impact down, the game is so much fun to play that the negatives are ultimately minor gripes. [...] The gameplay is smooth and simplistic, and it works great on all platforms - though I’m still not sure why the PlayStation version can’t be linked to a Mihoyo account so I could play on my phone when I’m not at home (PS Vita version please??) but it’s a small gripe to an otherwise terrific game.
