    This game USED to be fantastic; one of the best games ever made. But then the Garry's Mod 13 update utterly ruined every aspect of the game! Saves are broken, loading times are way too long, the Workshop is blatantly worse than its predecessors (garrysmod.org & Toybox,) the UI is downright ugly, its so badly optimized even some HIGH-END PCs can have trouble running it, for a while thereThis game USED to be fantastic; one of the best games ever made. Saves are broken, loading times are way too long, the Workshop is blatantly worse than its predecessors (garrysmod.org & Toybox,) the UI is downright ugly, its so badly optimized even some HIGH-END PCs can have trouble running it, for a while there was an exploit that allowed your computer to become infected with a virus via Gmod servers, even BASIC features like the Inflator Tool don't work properly anymore. And don't expect the game to get decent bugfixes any time soon; the developers are slooow.
    The games functionality isn't the only thing that has become awful over the years; the Gmod community itself has become one of the worst communities I've seen in gaming. You will rarely find a friendly/smart person in it anymore.
    DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. It is only a shell of what it used to be.

    No, no, no, no, no. Unless you can somehow start a private server for your mature friends to play on, don't even bother buying this "game"... that is, if you can even call this a game. I'd refer to it as a cesspool where COD fan-boys and other **** call you pathetic and laugh at you, just because someone killed you with a crowbar after shooting you with a sniper. Unless you can somehow start a private server for your mature friends to play on, don't even bother buying this "game"... that is, if you can even call this a game.     Not really my kind of game, if you can call it that, thought I'd try it out anyway when it was on sale. Don't really like it or enjoy it, have no idea what Iam doing or supposed to do. I like goals and objectives. So all I did was look up an achievement guide and follow how to get the achievements and feel so bored trying to get them. Such an overrated game, don't want to have to downloadNot really my kind of game, if you can call it that, thought I'd try it out anyway when it was on sale. Don't really like it or enjoy it, have no idea what Iam doing or supposed to do. I like goals and objectives.     Gmod is just crap. None of the gamemodes are fun, TTT is a mess and the terrorists are way too underpowered, prop hunt is way too hard (lose health when you shoot) and murder is just lame. Building is complicated and not fun for casual gamers like me and ones who are bad at most games. I just hate it. Don't get it

    This is honestly one of the most overrated games on Steam. Buy this game if:
    You're prepared to listen and put up with a massive FNAF fanbase screaming about fnaf roleplay
    You're willing to spend 20 minutes loading up a server that you end up getting kicked out of 5 minutes after you join You're ok with the fact that there's only one fun gamemode and the servers are **** You're ok with    This is honestly one of the most overrated games on Steam.     I hate this game, So much f****** bull**** like technically problems, updates don't work no mod compatibility unless you bought the Steam version but dumb vehicles and lame npc's, Textures will not work and if you try to fix them by installing something it will crash the game seemingly on purpose for you. Horrible boring and limited experience for the base game. Also the game doesn't allow you to make unlimited amount of props and limits it to around 500 each something Mine craft manged to do without any problems.. Lame and bland starting weapons. Map issues and other reasons makes this "game" not worth the struggle and only an occasional play through if you are bored out of your mind! I have not experienced any unique fun with Gmod and probably never will maybe when it first released it was a fun and polished game but now it's a redundant mess with lots of confusing contraptions and constant repetitiveness.… Expand
