    Although still in the Alpha stages, this game exceeds in local multiplayer fun that most games fail to achieve. Simple game with a good set of different maps, this game is something a group of friends can just sit down and have fun by just punching the snot out of eachother, then going WWE by grabbing one another and throwing them off the stage.

    This game loses 2 points, one for being only in the demo stages, although will bump to a 9 once that changes, and lastly loses a point for not having any online multiplayer aspect. For a PC game, it should have the option of online multiplayer since most PC aren't local multiplayer to begin with. Not to mention it doesn't have any hype or talk of online talk. All in all, great game and a must play with friends.    … Expand

    feels like early access even after the release. Fun for the first hour or two, but then all my friends lost interest quite fast, cause mechanics are pretty terrible. Everyone just grabs each other and there is little you can do - you either jump around together or fall together. meh

    why did i end up playing fall guys but worse. the game is barely playable, and has no idea of UX/UI, playability design

    The gameplay is not bad but thats about it with it.It doesnt even have a proper menu nor any progression, it doesnt even say how to play it or have any tutorial.The fighting mechanics have potential but everything else is just a mediocre.You can also get to battles where you are outmatched 1-2,It is more like a demo.Mediocre at best.

With that out of the way, Gang Beasts is an extremely fun local multiplayer game that let's you beat the Sh*t out of up to 8 of your friends and throw them off of trucks, Into Subway Trains, Off a building and a lot more. The game is 100% physics based so you must learn to use your charactersGang beasts in still currently under development so some parts of the game are subject to change. With that out of the way, Gang Beasts is an extremely fun local multiplayer game that let's you beat the Sh*t out of up to 8 of your friends and throw them off of trucks, Into Subway Trains, Off a building and a lot more. The game is 100% physics based so you must learn to use your characters weight and movement along with not getting knocked out from the hail of fists coming from other players. What makes Gang Beast unique is that there is no set way or rules to play the game, everyone has there own methods and styles they apply to the game in their own way. Some people treat is more like a game of fist a cuffs and just swing for days or others go for a more direct approach trying to toss others out of the map quickly. This is what makes the game so fun, watching you and your friends flail around the map trying to finish one another off but struggling to do simplest tasks because your chubby gummy bear type character handles like he's drunk but that's OK because its extremely hilarious/fun and you enjoin every second of it.If Gang Beasts had online Multiplayer It would be an almost perfect game but sadly you are limited to the amount of friends you can get together. If you are looking for a fun Party/Local Multiplayer game to play with some friends and have a good time, look no further.… Expand

    Sure gang beasts has wonky gameplay and is a little light on features, but it is some of the most fun you will have playing a local game this year. Some of my friends who always bash video games even jumped in and loved it. Its silly and simplistic but the physics based gameplay is really fun.

This game is a great four player local multiplayer and is a physics based beat em up, although online multiplayer is in development. Gang Beasts has great really interesting physics grabing onto people and throwing them around is awesome.     Gang Beasts is a good game to play with friends and have some laughs, the gameplay is poor, you just have to beat up your friends on the arena and be last man standing.

    Excellent game. And now with Online servers. It's really amazing. It's much more funny play this game than Street Fighter V - Gang Beast it's 100 times better than any fighting game. :).

The game features various customization options for your character, ranging from firefighters to fast food employees. There are four online modes, melee, gang, soccer, and waves. Melee is the best game mode, a crazy free-for-all, gang is melee but with teams, soccer is an interesting variation on the sports that allows you to beat up your opponents, and waves is the singleplayer mode, but with other people online.

    There’s over 10 maps, all colorful and interesting, that can be played online or locally. About 5 of those maps are also in the singleplayer pool. The maps are all locations around Beeftown, ranging from a subway, meat packing plant, and billboard. Each map has an interesting aspect to it, and various ways you can fall or be thrown off the map.

    The main gameplay is centered around the physics, and knocking out your opponents and throwing them over the edge of the map. The game is extremely fun for short periods of time, but this game is in no way competitive. The game isn’t about fierce competition and ranking up, but instead relaxing and having a good time. The game is very fun to play, but could be best described as a minigame.    … Expand

    I initially wrote this game off as a surface level party game, but after browsing the steam community page I learned that there is complexity. If you are willing to practice there are many moves and play styles that you can master. I do really like this as these moves are a implemented by combining the basic controls: punch, kick, headbutt, grab, and jump.     Just a cute little fighting game to pass the time with your friends. Doesn't really hold much interest past a couple hours of dumb fun.

    It's tough to be down on Gang Beasts. At heart, it's just very silly entertainment for you and your pals, like the multiplayer games of yesteryear. It's kind of bad, broken even, and it's certainly not going to become a mainstay of anyone's regular gaming catalogue. But it does guarantee some laughs with your buddies. Isn't that what gaming was designed to do?
