Jun 9, 2016Nowhere near as good as The Walking Dead or The Wolf Among Us, Game of Thrones Season One still delivers a decent story with a typically tragic conclusion, true to its source material.

Apr 19, 2015This game is undoubtingly weaker, MUCH weaker than the TV series. The story is weak, most of the characters are bland and boring. Graphically this game feels and looks much worse, than "The Wolf Among Us" and "The Walking Dead", sometimes to the point of looking pretty awful.

Nov 17, 2015Your choices don't matter - Have played through a few times choosing different paths(or so I thought) it ends up the exact same each time. It is somewhat fun to play with your partner if you're into the show, if you take turns, but yeah sadly no replayability, even though they make you think there is a lot of it...

Nov 24, 2015Pros: Episodes 1-4 aren't horrible.
Cons: Episodes 5-6 are horrible.
Episode 5 has one of the biggest plot holes you will ever see in a story.
Episode 6 is literally nothing more than one big advertisement for their next game.
This game will leave you incredibly unsatisfied. -

Dec 15, 2014Just played Episode 1. Typical Telltale, linear game where the only difference your choices make (with the exception of one) is that certain people are more pissed off with you. The game always ends up with the same damn endings, just like "The Walking Dead"
Can't recommend at the $20 price tag, really. Watch the TV show instead or better yet read the books. -

Nov 27, 2015Presented to you by Telltale. A game where YOUR choices DOES NOT matter at all.
Good job making me feel playing the game was pointless . -

Dec 13, 2014game is intense, the three story lines are all intriguing, however the handmaids is not as good as the other 2, without spoling the game the story that finishes at the end opens up a few more stories , shame however that it had to finsh

Dec 18, 2014TellTale has done a wonderful job with the Game of Thrones IP. Graphical issues aside, the story really drew me in and I cannot wait for the rest of the episodes to be released to continue the characters adventures in Westeros.

Jan 10, 2016I have played all 5 of the Tell Tale games. I find they really are able to grab the theme of the different series very well. This game had some of the most brutal choices I've seen in any of their games, and they did a great job using 2 smaller houses to tell a story, while still having some Major characters from the world still be part of the experience.
-
Jul 28, 2015It keeps all the atmosphere of the original series and the Forresters are an interesting family. The game's story-line fits perfectly with the TV series and believe you me when I say you will hate Ramsay Bolton even more!
The one thing missing: the sexiness of the TV show. Seduction can be a powerful weapon and here is almost non- existant. -
Jul 29, 2016A good game overall, that helps capture the world of Game of thrones, and allows you to meet some of the best characters from the show. Overall the game provides an interesting story, with a good mix of characters with a few twists and turns throughout the story.

Jul 27, 2016A completely stressing and depressing story from Telltale, yet this game is a disappointing collection of seemingly nail-biting choices that does not come close to having any significant impact in the storyline, which ends in an utter cliffhanger. Nonetheless, as a big fan of Telltale Games, I can't say I didn't love their Game of Thrones.

Nov 27, 2016This game is one of my favorites, telltale games have done a great job with game of thrones and the ending to episode 6 was a heart breaker but i am so pumped for season 2 which has officially been announced. This game starts off slow though really gets intense in the second half. Also the game has extremely difficult choices, especially in the 5th episode

Aug 28, 2016Pros: Good design , familiar characters
Cons: mediocre plot , not too much variation in the dialogues .
The best game for ''Game of Thrones'' universe , but not enough better coverage throughout history . -

Apr 10, 2017It is a really interesting story which makes you helpless and you cant really do anything about it and it resembles the show well in how it approaches its conclusion which is one of the best game endings ever

Apr 5, 2021The game is avarage even for Telltale production. It has a few decent moments, but generally speaking much worse than TWD.

May 1, 2020Without a doubt, the worst game of telltale games that does not measure up to the series. These new graphic adventures with such poor gameplay must have a story of 10 to keep you hooked, and this is not one of them. I do not recommend it.

Aug 15, 2023I really like this one. Got two runs with pretty different endings, but I know that if Telltale ever made a sequence, they would just throw away everything i did anyway. Feels bad. Nice plot though.
-
Apr 1, 2021Playing it for the first time, I'm thoroughly enjoying every second, a real treat for fans of the show, but also just a compelling and fun game in general. Like any TellATale game it's not in any way challenging, but masterful non the less!! Loving it!
-
Aug 10, 2021Superb game of Telltale , playing more characters simultaneously makes it unique from other telltales. Must need more seasons like TWD.
-
Oct 23, 2021In general, the game is interesting. However, there are problems with the fact that usually dialgochi do not solve anything and, in principle, you seem to be watching an ordinary movie and not playing an interactive movie. However, the story itself is very interesting and touches the events of the series. I liked the game, but it could have been many times better.

May 20, 2023Very good!
Can't understand the negative reviews for this one, it's trademark brilliant storytelling from Telltale & no one does it better than them
Would of been a legendary series if they didn't go out of business back then -
Aug 23, 2023Interesting. It's a short history and stressed game, it no give you chance to fail or miss quick options so it's far to classic adventure games, but is fun for a while

CD-ActionFeb 4, 2016The story starts with a bang (during the Red Wedding) but fails to keep the momentum and ultimately comes nowhere near the breathtaking twists of the original. [01/2016, p.72]
-
Feb 2, 2016Game of Thrones will give you some pretty cool moments, especially when you start feeling the weight of your decisions. Overall, there’s a good chance you’ll be disappointed and frustrated with the game, rather than being mesmerized by an epic tale and great characters. You know, great characters really aren’t THAT great, unless we have enough time to know them.
-
Riot PixelsJan 25, 2016Telltale’s Game of Thrones is a bad-looking, dumb, predictable drama. It has some powerful moments, but compared to the show and the books, this is nothing more than a farce.
