However, what I dislike the most is possibly the most crucial part of this DLC. The co-driver's pace notes are pathetic. The people who worked on it have no idea about this sport. The co-driver should use the professional pace notes (1-right, 3-left, 6-right and so on), also it lacks some standard pace notes I'd expect to be here ("tightens", "long", "to", "100", "don't cut" etc.), as well as it has some awkward, completely incorrect and pretty pathetic pace notes like "water" instead of the freaking "splash". And you cannot change it in settings! There is no option to switch to actual rally nomenclature from this childish and incorrect bs.
On the other hand I don't care about the rally event realism like repairing your car between the stages, because, after all, it's supposed to be an arcade game (and I love arcade games), where you simply take your gamepad and drive. If I want more realism like that (said, I find more time), I can always play some Dirt or V-Rally. So that's not my point. The events are fair enough. But the co-driver is messed up so badly I have to reduce my score by 2 points.
I reduce by another 2 points because this DLC is nothing like "wow", super-innovative or whatever. I like it, as I said, but it's just "okay". Unlike the other reviews claim, in my opinion it's not "more of the same", but it's also nothing extraordinary.
Hence 6/10.… Expand
