вполне сносный батл рояль. Довольно детский на мой вкус, но ставить 0/10 игре где донат вообще не решает как по мне тупо.

The rating is definitely higher than before due to the addition of a no-building mode. Epic knows how to make skins and dances for your production, which makes it hard not to buy them, but then you get into the game and ask yourself why you did it.

Street Fighter X Fortnite: Ryu & Chun-Li At the start of the season, Epic Games took their player base by surprise with the introduction of the Kratos Fortnite skin. This was then followed up with other charaters from different games including Master Chief, Daryl Dixon, and Michonne.

At the start, it seemed as though these would all be actual hunters, especially with the Predator mystery skin. However, we’ve had skins like Sarah Connor and Tron Legacy. A new portal opened up hours ago, and some data-miners assumed it would be WandaVision skins simply because of the fact that there were going to be two skins coming, male and female.. https://shrinke.me/eh7PtK

There's a campaign, but the story is fairly lack luster. Most of the content in this regard comes in the form of characters with colorful personalities talking to you. Whether you find them charming, annoying or bland comes down to preference. There's really only a handful of different mission types and a couple dozen different maps, (some of which look extremely similar), that you unlock as you progress. The campaign missions basically give you busy work type tasks like fetch quests, kill X amount of baddies, win at playing X game mode in X district, stuff like that. Every map has a small number of different side quests you can do for random rewards and experience, though the rewards are often mundane. Most of your time spent on these worlds, in the early levels anyways, involves everyone completing these side quests until they're done or someone gets bored. The main mission can often be started at someone's choosing, but is sometimes on a 20min timer. The world is littered with lootable and farmable resources you can use to craft traps, weapons, ammo and buildings. The game has changed substantially so that attaining these resources isn't very grindy at all. Baddies now drop resources, mainly the sort for building structures. Once you've upgraded your pick axe a couple times you can farm really quickly if needed.

The main objectives almost always involve defending something. This is where you can construct a base, lay traps and gun down monsters or use various special abilities you can unlock. Bases tend to look largely the same, as you only need them for a short amount of time (under 10 min). Once the mission is over, they're gone. There are home defense missions that allow you to keep your base, but you can only play these missions every so often as you progress. There's a wide array of various traps, but they often aren't a necessity for defending. People will sometimes build a bunch of traps, but they won't get used because most people don't want to sit around watching cartoon zombies walk into them for 10 minutes. My understanding is that traps become more useful in the higher levels, (which take dozens of hours to get to).

From here the game is basically just repetition. You play on the same maps, completing the same objectives, doing the same generic campaign missions to level up your heroes', traps' and weapons' stats. As you level up, you're able to play in higher level ques, but the maps are still the same; the baddies are just stronger. You do eventually unlock new worlds with their own unique maps, but the maps are still largely similar throughout. In essence, you progress so you can play at higher levels so you can progress in order to play at even higher levels. Get it?

And that's the game. It's a massive progression machine filled with a never ending onslaught of dopamine releasing sounds and animations that make you feel like you've accomplished something. For some people, this is all they need to have fun; because for them, progression is the fun. But as far as novel gameplay goes, the game gets old fast. If your friends play more or less than you do, it's hard to play together because of the discrepancy in power levels.

Overall, the gameplay is either too hard or too easy depending on how strong you are compared to the world difficulty. If it's too hard, you'll simply die super fast to things and do no damage. If you're too strong, everything will drop like flies and you'll be considerably tanky. So typical RPG mechanics. The game actually has a diverse array of different baddies, but you only unlock them as you make your way through the campaign - which progresses ridiculously slow. Meaning the game is excruciatingly dull for a dozen hours worth of gameplay. It's like a really long, drawn out tutorial that never seems to give way to an actual story. There's a ton of interesting weapons to use, (though you need to randomly unlock schematics to craft them yourself), but you'll likely mainly use the few weapons you've been upgrading.

I haven't had an issue with the loot system and I haven't put a single penny, or V buck for that matter into buying lamas (the game's look box system), as I spend whatever V bucks I make on battle royale stuff. My hero and weapons have pretty much been absurdly over powered for the entirety of my play. There's a shop you can buy some high tier rotating items in for a limited time using money readily gained from doing missions and side quests. So getting a decent hero and gear doesn't seem to be a major issue right now, though getting the exact loot you want always comes down to really long odds.

I've put a lot of time into the game, as I find the basic formula relaxing and somewhat satisfying. But it's getting harder to play because of how uninspired and tedious the game is. Just a giant progression machine...

A great game that sadly, was ruined by a pay to progress loot based system. If they improve progression by making you get stronger faster, and figure out a better way to get you good guns/trap/heroes that does not involve loot boxes this game would easily be a 10.

I'm giving such a high rating because of Save the World. Save the World is a great concept, and is extremely underrated... Meanwhile Battle Royale is just a random deathmatch game that somehow got the top game of the year. If Battle Royale never existed, then this would be a 9, but Battle Royale brings it down.

Fortnite is a good game underneath all of the misdirected features, there's some genuinely good mechanics and as a line it does push a good bargain, as of the time of this review the game is a paid product (for the base game).

You have to pay to get into the Early Access, and by doing so you get some bonuses such as founders items etc. And overall the gameplay is fun and relaxing.

You have to pay to get into the Early Access, and by doing so you get some bonuses such as founders items etc. And overall the gameplay is fun and relaxing.

Right now the gameplay is generally speaking built for a F2P model with P2W mechanics built alongside, which in the current climate doesn't make that much sense considering the majority of players right now have payed an upfront price for the game.

I would have expected more leniency on those who had paid for the game but if I am honest it doesn't aggravate me as much as it does with others, mainly because I am happy to grind my way along the games progression, I am also happy to understand that it doesn't take a day to complete the game.

If I could compare a model to the system that Fortnite will use it would be that of Hearthstone, you can play every day and get free cards and decks, or you can pay to get a bunch of free cards.

Right now as it stands that price can be VERY steep if you go the paid route.

But here's the thing, although you might have some very good cards it actually doesn't work in your favour very well as a P2W system, let me give you an example.

You have 4 cards of same type of varying different qualities, lets say very bad, bad, good, very good. Now we take those different qualities and we try to level them up. Well the very bad quality is taking around 200 points per level, the bad quality is around 500 points per level etc etc (you get the point).

The only way to get any serious points is by playing matches, you see where I'm going with this, you can't actually use your high level cards effectively without also grinding out the game.

It's not like World of Tanks where you can buy a premium tank/ammo and off you go, the base game cards and equipment all have to be levelled via grinding the game out.

So you can level your cards, you also have to level yourself (The Commander) which again is ONLY done by grinding the game out, the other routes of getting levels are so marginal they barely count, if you go the route of filling out your collection book you will get around 10 points for a quarter filled book.

Fortnite really doesn't give much in terms of options when it comes to levelling you just have to do the quests and missions, you can also recycle/retire old or duplicate schematics, survivors and heroes which will give more xp for their respective areas but it's very minimal in the grand scheme of things.

In the end this game is about grinding, it doesn't even matter entirely if you do drop the occasional splash of money it will have the same effect as any randomly generated card game, you may or may not get what you want, I think this is what annoy's most P2W players out there if I'm frank about it as it's more of a gamble rather than a dead set "I'm now better".

To me it's definitely fun and the game doesn't really start till you get past the tutorial and early starting missions, it doesn't challenge you early game which makes sense because once you start getting towards around the level 15 mark it starts to pick up.

And trust me when I say level 15 is less than a quarter of the game, its probably around 10% of the game.

For me I treat it like a fun bit of gaming to do every day for 30 minutes, I log in get my rewards or missions that I set over the course of the evening (you can send heroes away to collect stuff for 16 hours etc) and ill do a few quests and missions, if a friend is around we can do it together.

A note on the other reviewers (just in general) I see a lot of players who clearly haven't gone past the early gameplay, I would warn those of you who know what kind of game this is (a Hearthstone card game with tower defense and loot mechanics) give it a chance, if you aren't bothered about paying wait for the F2P and just grind past the early game.

    I'll give some common complaints/answers:

I haven't got any high level cards, paid or not paid.
    ^^
Yeah because in any game you jump into the fun bit is jumping to the end? Come on folks we all love shiny's but if you got them consistently they wouldn't be end game content anymore, you have to get the end game content by playing through it and the only way to get consistent high level cards is to trade in lower value cards.

The loot in levels is low level.
    ^^
Yeah it gets higher level as you get higher level, if you consider after 20 or so hours you are still very low level, you start to get how much grind it takes to have decent drops, for example as a low level after completing the first set of Commander levels (i.e. stage 1) you only just start getting blue's drop.

Overall I would say if you are on the fence just wait it out, it will be F2P soon enough.

In terms of community interaction, Epic Games are very in touch with their audience. They know their market. It's for kids, but can be just as fun for adults too. I'd recommend you try this game with your friends, as its free, but wouldn't waste a dime on this game.

To dismiss it as a child's game is beyond missing the point - its a good 3ps in it's own right with some nice extra dynamics – but please dont judge it as a good game - there are some other aspects that cannot be passed by with this game. It could be a 7/10 easily – maybe 8 - , but it has numerous nuances...

    Why is this then? :

On one side, Fortnite is easy to play at -least initially (as an 3ps is)-and is worth while and fun with tense gun play/combat. The map is good and content comes in droves. On the other side, it will take time to master, especially in regard to building in combat. Combat is tense and fast paced - it's good and I think it's reasonably balanced MOST OF THE TIME.

However, I don't believe some of the guns ARE balanced particularly well – unfortunately this applies to all the new gear...

It does have it's own look, but some of the standard 'free-to-play' skins are UGLY. The general look of it is good, but you can tell it is getting old.

On the other hand, I don't like alot of the design of the game, especially the UI design, as well as the feel of the controls - often they jitter into other commands and behaviours and it is very sloppy or it just plain obstructs the player.

The word for much of the game quality is SLOPPY . It does works OK as a game though - mostly. I find this is inexcusable given this is a popular game developed by a company that is one of the god-fathers to the genre of FPS - though I don't think they can't afford it and are not capable... there are other reasons - learn who they are...

For a start consider this : I also don't like that it forces you to see tonnes of rubbish that some people have paid for, and EPIC - W O N T - give you access to most of it unless you are on battle pass i.e. giving money PER season - YET they make you watch how many 'Battlestars' you've collected at the end of each match (which is ONLY spendable WITH Battlepass) - which is effectively a slap in the face. So as far as I am concerned, if you are playing this 'free to play' game without giving them money, then they are going to punish you.

Bare this in mind when you can't change your own skin, it will choose one for you(when not on battlepass) and some of those standard skins are ugly.

The missions thing generally means you need to spend alot of effort to go to places, which often is contrary to: A, survival and B, what your team mates will want.

So I would conclude you need to play the game to complete missions seperately rather than to competing at the same time - which is just a gotcha to most of us who already have other commitments. However Missions are an avenue to get skins and cosmetics incase you cant buy battlepass ( and have time to spend and kill).

It is an excellent game to hang out with your friends. It is fun and virtually free, everyone's decision if money is used. The save the world mode, leaves some things to fix, but is still entertaining.

Fortnite : Save the World

This is the mode that costs PvE version of Fortnite, and it is not worth the money. It has some interesting worldbuilding, and some combat that is fun at first but eventually just gets tedious. The building aspect is unique, and pulled off in a way that is simple, but not necessarily the most fun way.
    Overall Rating : 6/10

    Battle Royale

Most likely the mode you are interested in if considering to get the game. The free Battle Royale is the most updated mode and sometimes the most fun too. The main modes, Solo, Duos, and Squads, are fun at first, until you realize that a lot of it is just running from area to area and getting into fights. The skill-based matchmaking in these modes is also not too great, and often I find myself playing against players way higher in skill level. However, the Team Rumble mode and some LTMs are a lot of fun to play. Team Rumble is like Team Deathmatch in other games, and it is especially exciting to hit snipe after snipe on players, and rack up kills and it is extremely satisfying doing so. The more creative LTMs (Arsenal, The Getaway, Marvel Knockout etc.) that are a full new mode instead of a normal battle royale with an adjusted or new mechanic/loot pool, are also really fun to play, but they aren't available as much. One other thing to note is that this game recently has been a lot more of an advertisement, especially to Marvel in this current season. (As of writing Chapter 2, Season 4) This means that you see a lot of skins from different brands (Marvel, DC, Star Wars, etc.) and also some game modes/skins if there is a current crossover taking place.
    Overall Rating : Solo/Duos/Squads : 5/10
    Team Rumble/LTMs : 8/10

    Creative

Fortnite Creative has some potential, although it does have some limiting features that unfortunately are too tough to remove. It also has some mechanics that can be very confusing, especially to newer players, because the game never really explains creative. It just tosses you in to have fun. You don't need to make your own island though, as there are plenty of community-made maps you can play, and all you need is the code for the island to play them. This mode is 100% better with friends, you can play with random people but they will likely just want to get in build fights and will probably eliminate you easily if you aren't very highly skilled.

The game introduced new building methods for controller like builder pro and made editing easier with confirm edit on release. I started playing this game competitively back in 2019 when I got a pc with a high refresh rate monitor. Around the same time my friends who weren't so keen about the game and just played casually on console started quitting and moving on to other things, I don't blame them. 2019-ish was when people started getting really good at the game and more and more people took competitive gaming seriously. This massive skill gap made casual players not want to play as expected so epic made some really **** decisions to balance this skill gap such as mechs which were really over powered robots that anyone could use not matter how bad they were to kill even the best of the best. Anyways I give this game a solid 7 because it was a fundamental game that shaped e-sports and battle royal games. The state of the game today is confusing because, even though I believe its in of of its best states in recent months I still don't think its worth it for casuals to play it. As it currently stands Fortnite is an esports title and I still have some fun playing it because of that. And I completely understand, not everyone has the money to buy a gaming pc with a 240hz monitor, a good controller/keyboard and mouse or time to play this game hours and hours a day.) Well, that is my review for Fortnite and its current state. Expand

Chapter 4 is pretty good, but I feel like it's missing the charm it used to have. The new graphics are a mix of CH1 and CH2, which I actually sort of like. I do think that the GUI could be better and less populated with other gamemodes. I wish they would bring back some locations though, that would be awesome.

Prior to the establishment of buildless-mode, the game was a mish-mash or noobs, mid and hardcore players, with running into a hardcore player always resulting in death. That being said, if you've the friends to play it mindlessly on the background while chatting, its actually a fairly-decent third person shooter battle royale.

not too bad right now but the quality is all over the place depending on the season/chapter, but not gonna lie the game has basically just turned into a giant crossover game which can really give people mixed feelings on the thing, personally I used to hate it but I don't mind it now, It's fun and usually the characters they add would canonically use guns.

    Pros:
    Great animation.

    Community makes great custom games.
    Unique building mechanic.

    Cons:
Very, very basic goal in the main game.
Almost EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER is from a super-hero-movie company like Marvel.
Considered one of the most overrated games ever.
Very janky vehicle physics(this could technically be a pro depending on your perspective).
And, of course. Loot boxes. Goddamn loot boxes.

If there weren’t custom games being made by the community, this would’ve been significantly bumped down to a 3, or a 2. But, A for effort, I guess.

I don’t recommend this game, but that’s just my opinion. Play this game, if you really want to.

Fortnite is an ever-shifting entity, but strong footing has solidified it as a verified phenomenon with fast, fun gameplay and ubiquitous reach. Anyone can play it and have a great time, and although Save the World might get grindy and shotgun climb-and-dives might get a little tiresome, there’s real magic here along with the promise of more in the months and years to come.
