Oct 23, 2024All in all, Forgive me Father 2 was a welcome surprise that tested my very rusty skills with fast-paced action sequences and a very cool Lovecraftian vibe. Even after finishing it once, I’m very keen to check out the other story paths, and to try and 100% all the levels. If you like fast FPS games then put this on your radar, because much like Cthulu, you should not sleep when there’s mayhem to be had.

Nov 1, 2024The continuation of the successful action game in retro style exceeded expectations and brings a great dose of adrenaline.

Oct 24, 2024While Forgive Me Father 2 is a fun title with excellent art and some wonderfully spooky Lovecraftian elements, I feel like the gameplay can be a bit too simple, repetitive, and even frustrating at times. While it is definitely a true portrayal of a beloved genre, I personally would mix things up by introducing more boss fights, power diversity, and maybe even more enemy types. That being said, you’ll be hard-pressed not to enjoy what’s already on offer.

Dec 20, 2024An amazing game fit for almost every player. From its fun quick-paced gameplay to its innovative graphics, it’s hard to think of anyone who won’t enjoy Forgive Me Father 2.

Oct 28, 2024Forgive Me Father 2 is a good boomer shooter that builds on the ideas of the original. The action is fast and pretty brutal, with a focus on delivering as many headshots as possible while moving constantly to avoid damage. The Asylum and its unlocks allow gamers to try out strategies and find weapons that match their approach. The game’s atmosphere is designed to appeal to players who like Lovecraft vibes, although it does not offer much in the way of straight-up horror. Forgive Me Father 2 improves on an already established formula but needs extra weirdness or one big innovative mechanic.

Feb 25, 2025If you’re a fan of old-school shooters – or even if you just like games where you don’t have to think much and you can fire away at everything that moves – you should definitely check out Forgive Me Father 2. It doesn’t break new ground, but with weapons and action this fun, it doesn’t need to.

Nov 4, 2024Forgive Me Father 2 is an unforgettable assault on the senses that’s a must for horror fans who want bombastic action throughout.
-
Nov 1, 2024While I never played the original, Forgive Me Father 2 is a fantastic game. The game’s ability to blend classic shooter mechanics with Lovecraftian horror creates a unique and memorable experience. Whether you’re a fan of the original or new to the series, Forgive Me Father 2 offers a thrilling journey into madness that is not to be missed.

Nov 1, 2024A shooter that doesn’t reinvent R’lyeh. Forgive Me Father 2 captivates with relentless action, fantastic visuals, a top-tier metal soundtrack, and wonderfully old-school gameplay. It occasionally gets tangled in level design and its own story, but overall, it’s an awesome, fast-paced boomer shooter perfect for letting off steam.

Oct 23, 2024Forgive Me Father 2 doesn't last long to be a story driven game, towards the end it loses a bit of charisma and has some imperfections such as a questionable difficulty balance, yet it convinces in its evolutionary attempt. It succeeds by propping up the disturbing and "Lovecraftian" experience of Forgive Me Father with a clearer and more intuitive customization, blending it with a more mature and stimulating level design and applying it all to an old school context with a more intelligent pace, with areas with dizzying peaks of mortality capable of coexisting with exploratory phases in search of items/resources and puzzles to solve. To season the result, needless to say, the usual and abundant dose of amazing art direction, darkness, blood and madness, a weapon itself when horror reaches its zenith.

Nov 9, 2023Forgive Me Father 2 is a great throwback to the golden age of shooters, pushing you to your limits of your own abilities and your sanity.
-
Oct 23, 2023Forgive Me Father 2 is an amazing experience for anyone looking to get into the horror first person shooter genre. Being a take on world war one's traumas, you'll be thrown into the depths of asylums, trenches, and strange manors uncovering the horrors of yourself. As a sequel title it improves greatly on the graphics and gunplay of the previous game while offering new and unique weapons for your person enjoyment! Make sure to keep your audio on, as the killer soundtrack will have you coming back time and time again!
-
Dec 2, 2024Forgive Me Father 2 is a throwback FPS with a stylish Lovecraftian presentation. If you're craving a slick arena shooter to play for a few hours then this is a good option, although the pedestrian level design and short campaign holds it back from competing with the best in the genre.

Nov 20, 2023Forgive Me Father 2 even in its early access state right now, is gorgeous and fun to play. Just keep in mind that this is still early access and there isn’t a full game here. If that’s ok with you, jump in. Forgive Me Father 2 looks gorgeous, sounds amazing, and feels brilliant to play. It also fixed whatever I disliked in the first game. This is definitely shaping up to be special, but needs more time. I’ll be covering it more as it gets closer to its full release.
