Jan 13, 2022Another year, another few steps in the right direction - but very tiny steps indeed. The promised match engine upgrade doesn’t add up to much and the rest of the innovations will be appreciated only by the most faithful and experienced football coaches.

Nov 4, 2021Football Manager 2022 is a further step for the improvement of the series, which in terms of offer and managerial experience now seems saturated. The innovations compared to the previous edition are small and marginal, both in terms of content and improvements to the match engine.

Nov 4, 2021Football Manager 2022 ramps up the emphasis on the modernness of today's game. It's the most accurate, most joyfully compulsive entry yet. [Eurogamer Recommended]

Nov 16, 2021If like me you've been away for a while, or have never played FM before because your brain calcifies whenever someone says the word "football", then FM22 is definitely the version to try. As someone who came in relatively unversed in the series' recent history, I was surprised by how quickly I found myself poring over my rival's tackling statistics and trying to find a cheap yet quality replacement for my injured starting full-back. If the game can do that for old Barry Hattrick, then it can do the same for you.
