    Futebol Manager is a classic that emerged from Elifoot, a basic game, simple, but very fun. FM is too overloaded with unnecessary information and details.     Football manager used to be a great game. I have played Championship manager since "93", but the last 3 editions have been poor on what really matters....the difficulty. Despite vast improvements in transfers, the graphics etc etc, the ease level is so abusively easy, I don't bother playing anymore.

    For example, I'll use my Corboa save so you can see what I mean. Won the third tier    Football manager used to be a great game. I have played Championship manager since "93", but the last 3 editions have been poor on what really matters....the difficulty. Despite vast improvements in transfers, the graphics etc etc, the ease level is so abusively easy, I don't bother playing anymore.

    For example, I'll use my Corboa save so you can see what I mean. Won the third tier without dropping a point. Then won the segunda title by 12pts (at least i lost a few games). Then 4th in la liga and won the copa del rey. Then champions the next season, including beating barca 6-0 away (would never happen!) and got the to the copa del rey final and lost - I almost wanted to lose. After winning la liga again the next season with an average squad age of 21 I quit as I was bored.

    Another example.....I got Norwich promoted (unbeaten), then finished 4th in the prem, then finsihed 3rd but won the league cup. The next season came 2nd, but won the FA Cup and Champions league. I then won every trophy available the next season from everything from the community shield, super cup through to the prem and champions league (7 in total). I'm not writing this to brag - its not fun!!

    It just to be a challenge. This is absurd and after buying FM22 it seems its the same level of difficulty - a 6 year old could tear this up. Loads of Youtubers criticised the ease last year and they have done the same again. I won't be buying future editions until I see that is has been made a little more challenging.

    I remember one game in my Norwich game that summed this up. Playing away at Man city in the FA cup quarter-final, 2-0 down after 60 mins and I still thought we would win - It was 3-2. I started to-realise I wanted to lose games and thus quit the game at the end of the season.    … Expand

    Just so much stuff that wastes your time. My team are annoying. The media is annoying. Other than managing your team and playing football, everything else is annoying. Waste of money at full price.

    I absolutly dispise team meetings. DISPISE THEM. WHAT IDIOT PROGRAMMED THE INTERACTIONS!?

    With improvements and new features like the staff meeting and the data hub, Football Manager 2022 is one of the best games overall and managing a soccer club is more fun than ever.

    The new version of the acclaimed management game is the best to date! The new match engine and animations give a more real feel to the whole experience of managing a football club. The new Data Hub is excellent for analyzing your own team and opponents. 10/10

    I played every single game of the series since i remeber, and this is prolly the first time i am dissapointed. I let the game set on mostly default and started to looking after improvements. To my suprise all of the improvements were so minor, that i could barely even say if those chagned anything. The new Data submenu seems to just colletc the data from everyelse into one spot... which is kinda usefull but not really helpfull as expected. I have the feeling that geenpressing is still op tactic to anyone and every team, in opposite to the tiki-taka or possesion setups, which needs a lot of tweaking to work. Transfers are just unrealistic like in previous titles. I kept getting bids for 0zł in my Pogoń team for my youngster, while i needed to bet a large ammount of money for simply any player. Same issue with free transfers - players without a club are asking for a lot of money, yet thay barely played in last seasons, and player has zero to none negotiation capability. Press conferences or players talks are once again just useless part of the game, where you can simply go whole season clicking second option from the left nad barely ever something bad happens. To the engine, i feel that this side works this time slightly better for me and matches are now kinda competetive. Still getting stupid match ups with 1 to 30 and 1-2 or 1-1 scorelines.

    I mean end of the day game is not terrible. Its still good old football manager in some spaces best menagerial game there is. As an old fan i will play it anyway. Though to be fair i can only give it solid 7.    … Expand

    The new animation engine on it's own makes this years version worth buying. The new engine allowing the players to make quicker decisions and re adjustments adds tremendous value in the flow of the game. Last years version FM21 in my eyes was the best installment in the series, but already now I can confidentiality say FM22 tops it.

    This new animation engine on it's own have re flourished my love for the game! And with the new data hub sinking deep into a save became even more enjoyable as we all known numbers and stats are a gold mine!

    For already experienced FM players this is a must get version of the game! Which says more then enough for other customers.    … Expand

    Football Manager 2022 provides yet again a masterful experience full of new elements that keep on improving a near perfect videogame, which also becomes more and more demanding with each new entry.

    Un año más el juego referencia de manager de fútbol.

    Es continuista para lo bueno y lo malo. Como siempre va mejorando detalles en distintos aspectos, este año en concreto mejoran bastante las animaciones durante los partidos. Y meten alguna función nueva como el centro de datos, que ha sido elogiado pero personalmente lo suelo ignorar. Lista zmian z każdym kolejnym rokiem wydaje się być coraz dłuższa i bardziej imponująca. Bądźmy jednak w pewnych kwestiach uczciwi. Większość pozycji z takiej listy to malutkie poprawki lub wręcz zmiany czysto kosmetyczne. Nie oznacza toSports Interactive dba o to, aby ich seria się rozwijała. Nie oznacza to jednak, że twórcy idą na łatwiznę i nie dostarczają graczom znaczących ulepszeń, które mocno wpływają na grę i jakość zabawy. Kilka takich poprawek znalazło się właśnie w recenzowanej odsłonie i są one na tyle istotne, że powinny zachęcić fanów do przesiadki z poprzedniej edycji na tę z rokiem 2022 w tytule. Można je dodatkowo podzielić na dwie kategorie. Na takie, które spodobają się graczom casualowym oraz te, które docenią prawdziwi FM-owi hardkorowcy.

    Do tego pierwszego grona na pewno trzeba zaliczyć ulepszony silnik meczowy. Nie jest to oczywiście poziom FIFY i nie można tego oczekiwać od FM-a, ale i tak jest za co chwalić grę. Dosyć szybko idzie zauważyć, że znacząco urozmaicono animacje piłkarzy. Dotyczy to zarówno sposobu ich poruszania się po boisku, form przyjęcia piłki, podań czy strzałów. Nadal jest to pewna ograniczona pula schematów, ale i tak wyglądają one dużo bardziej realistycznie. Są to jednak tylko zmiany wizualne, dużo istotniejsze jest wyeliminowanie przez twórców niektórych błędów z poprzednich odsłon. Teraz obrońcy, jeśli nie są naciskani przez rywala, potrafią na spokojnie przyjąć piłkę (wcześniej bezsensownie główkowali do przodu, często ją tracąc). Ponadto zawodnicy wbiegający w pole karne przeciwnika nareszcie dostrzegają lepiej ustawionych partnerów i dużo częściej zdarza się im podać niż strzelić. Co do samych strzałów to również dużo mniej jest irytujących sytuacji, kiedy to zawodnik nie potrafi wykorzystać sytuacji 1 na 1 z bramkarzem. Ciekawe zmiany dotknęły również sfery transferów. W przypadku FM22 nie ma konkretnej ustalonej ceny piłkarza, a jego przybliżona wartość zależy od wielu czynników (głównie formy). Jest to drobna poprawka, która umila i urozmaica rozgrywkę. Wprowadzono tutaj także bardziej złożone interakcje z agentami piłkarzy, dzięki którym można uzyskać informacje na temat tego, czy dany zawodnik jest zainteresowany transferem i jakie będą jego przybliżone koszty. Pewne zmiany wpłynęły również na ostatni dzień transferowy, który jest teraz o wiele bardziej „intensywny” i „emocjonalny” dla wirtualnego managera.

    Bardziej doświadczeni fani z pewnością powinni docenić małe przemodelowanie zebrań sztabu szkoleniowego. Tym razem sugestie wirtualnych pomocników są o wiele bardziej rozbudowane i co najważniejsze pod pewnymi względami dostosowują się do przyjętego schematu gry zespołu. Pewnej ewolucji uległa również sfera taktyczna gry. O wiele trudniej jest znaleźć „taktykę idealną”, którą idzie wygrać wszystko. Być może to tylko moje błędne odczucia, ale mam wrażenie, że w Football Manager 2022 przeciwnicy naprawdę uczą się sposobu naszej gry i o wiele lepiej potrafią ustawić kierowany przez siebie zespół. Należy więc dostosowywać taktykę zarówno pod konkretnego przeciwnika, jak i formę posiadanych piłkarzy. Jedyne, do czego można się przyczepić w tej materii to nadal odrobinę zbyt przesadzony „gegenpressing”. Największą i chyba najbardziej zauważalną zmianą jest wprowadzenie zakładki „Centrum Danych”. Czyli miejsca, w którym to analitycy gry umieszczają swoje rozbudowane raporty. Znaleźć można tam wszystko to, co manager potrzebuje aby określić słabe i mocne strony zarówno własnego zespołu, jak i przeciwnika. Tempo meczów, skuteczność podań, statystka xG, heatmapy, ustawiania się poszczególnych piłkarzy, koncentracja ataków i dziesiątki innych najróżniejszych danych. W bardzo dużym uproszczeniu są to liczby, liczby, tabelki, wykresy i jeszcze raz liczby. Istotną, ale niezauważalną na pierwszy rzut oka zmianą w strukturze gry jest również zmiana w sposobie generowania nowych piłkarzy. Od tej części poziom potencjału nowych zawodników (generowanych przez grę), nie będzie na stałe przypisany do danego kraju. Będzie on zmieniał się zależnie od sukcesów (narodowych/drużynowych). Nie stoi więc nic na przeszkodzie, aby w Polsce w przyszłości pojawiły się tabuny nowych Lewandowskich.

    1000000000 times better than fifa
    although there are a lot of random stuff which is really annoying and complicating, this is still a very enjoyable game, and it actually feels like your managing a football club, although for inexperienced players i recommend the mobile version as it is simpler and easier to play

    The game could have been so good, because it has the fundamentals right. Alas it's so buggy to the degree of ridicule. I cannot believe SI with the backing from SEGA as publisher cannot do proper beta testing. I've only played two seasons so far and have already encountered around 15 bugs!!!
    And so despite some fun elements - the game is a failure in my book. 5/10.

    A small amount of significant new features is compensated by its impact on the overall experience for all types of players, complemented by a traditional set of improvements in UI and UX (especially when it comes to clarity).

    Football Manager is definitely showing signs of improvement and it is obvious that the development team is paying attention to the suggestions from the fans. No major objections here, and I hope that the sequel will be an even better game, because this franchise really has immense potential.

    Another year, another few steps in the right direction - but very tiny steps indeed. The promised match engine upgrade doesn’t add up to much and the rest of the innovations will be appreciated only by the most faithful and experienced football coaches.
