    Sister Location is a fantastic horror game, even if it doesn’t particularly feel like the rest of the FNAF series.

    Most frustratingly, Sister Location leaves its fans clutching at the same straws the last two games have. It ends asking the same questions as always - why are the machines evil (or are they just misunderstood), what is the nature of the Freddy's curse, and how exactly does this particular entry fit into the series' larger story and timeline and on and on.

    Cleary there was a lot of love and fine polishing put in to Sister Location, but Cawthon needs to take more risks.

    I’m glad Cawthon is looking for a new direction for FNAF, but Sister Location has a poorly outlined story, its gameplay is not all that engaging and additionally it lacks tension present in previous games. [13/2016, p.68]

The mechanics are neat, the voice acting is great, the story is pretty good, and the animations and level design have improved greatly. It's definatly not the best game of 2016 ( that goes to Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest ) but it's a well-made game that even non-fans might enjoy.… Expand

I think this one might be the most remembered and iconic fnaf game in all of the series along with fnaf 2. I think it's nice to have a change in gameplay and even focus on lore. But 1 issue, The game takes forever to get to the point. It's either I'm just too impatient to wait for the intro to be over with but it's just slow and it's also kinda confusing cause half the time idk what the **** is going on. This game isn't my cup of tea and i didn't like it as much as the others but I'm still giving it a 10/10 for the switcheroo.… Expand

    The trailer for this game looked fantastic, but unfortunately I found Sister Location to be kind of boring.. I hate saying that because you can tell that Scott was trying to make it so each night was different, but for whatever reason, this game felt less scary and less fun than all of the others. The highlight in the experience for me was walking past Ballora without being seen. The rest was just predictable nonsense with cheesy jump scares and a bizarre twist ending.… Expand
