    I think Scott has forgot his characters...
    The Astonishing story of The Man behind the slaughter aka Purple Guy is ruined becasue of this game. A lot of logical logical inconsistencies with the time line.
    Gameplay is intense but boring, so monotonous and predictible.

    A good series can have bad games. FNaF is a good series. FNaF Sister Location is, in my opinion, a bad game. This game was made pretty much entirely to make the story more complicated than it needed to be, and keep this series on life support for as long as possible. Most of the gameplay is absolutely nothing, and then some bits are absurdly difficult for no particular reason, not aided byA good series can have bad games. FNaF is a good series. FNaF Sister Location is, in my opinion, a bad game. This game was made pretty much entirely to make the story more complicated than it needed to be, and keep this series on life support for as long as possible. Most of the gameplay is absolutely nothing, and then some bits are absurdly difficult for no particular reason, not aided by the fact that the previous entries in the series knew how to build up the difficulty. The aesthetic changes from the previous entries over to a strange sci-fi look was terrible, and just took me right out of the experience. Needless to say, I don't like Sister Location.     Increible juego, lo unico que no es relevante pero se acepta, que no hay muchos easter eggs, pero la jugabilidad, gráficos e historia son espectaculares, este juego no es recomendado para menores de 12 años y los que no sepan ingles, porque o sino no, no entenderán la historia y que hacer, reitero, es el mejor de los FNaF

    The Five Nights at Freddy's franchise is a beloved franchise (in certain circles). And it is no secret that for the most part, the last four games (not counting FNAFW) have stayed fairly similar in presentation.

    In Sister Location, Scott mixed it up a bit and instead introduced the new game in segments that task you as the player to complete specific events, sometimes in a allotted    The Five Nights at Freddy's franchise is a beloved franchise (in certain circles). And it is no secret that for the most part, the last four games (not counting FNAFW) have stayed fairly similar in presentation.

    In Sister Location, Scott mixed it up a bit and instead introduced the new game in segments that task you as the player to complete specific events, sometimes in a allotted amount of time. Each new night presents new tasks for the player to overcome.

    There's no denying that what Scott has done here new (for his games) and a refreshing change of pace as far as the FNAF franchise is concerned. The game looks better and it's a nice change of pace being able to go between rooms in the new game.

    With that being said, each night really only feels like a string of mini games sewn together. And unfortunately these events can become repetitive and quickly frustrating depending on how many times you have to do them. It'd be different if each completed task had a check point, so if you failed, you'd just start off from where you failed, but they don't. When you come to a part in the game you are having problems with, instead of being able to try again, you instead are (usually) pushed back behind several other events.

    (Spoilers) A good example is on the third night. You'll need to cross through Funtime Foxy's domain and then perform maintenance on Funtime Freddy. If you fail either of those events, you'll have to complete both over again.

    Similarly, while the game may give you vague directions on what it expects you to do, often times, it's still very unclear on what you actually need to do, resulting in you performing the same "puzzles" over and over again until you get it right. Othertimes it is simply downright hard and frustrating to complete a task simply on how it is designed.

    I don't have a problem with mini games and puzzles, far from it. But when players are complaining on Reddit, when players have to do the same task over and over and over again, it seems like there may need to be some tweeking involved to balance out the difficulty a little.

    This was clearly one of Scott's best works. And I applaud him on his effort, he did well. But for players who are not nearly as engaged to the franchise, this can be a frustrating experience that will ultimately cause them to quit playing.

    For die hard fans of the franchise, who love Scott and his games, then it's simple, I recommend for you to play the game, it's not even a question. For people who have been casually following the game and may want to check it out, not so much, those players would be better left to watching a playthrough on YouTube where they don't have to deal with the frustration.

    As for me? I got involved in the franchise because of the story and less because of the scares, because ultimately as you are exposed to the jumpscares they will gradually lose their impact on how they effect you, to the point you are completely unmoved. For me, personally, I wouldn't recommend this game to my friends or family.    … Expand

    Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location takes admirable risks without ever letting us down. It adds more to the story proving once again that Freddy and his pals are still haunting our nightmares!

    Just awful. The primary game mode is nothing but pure RNG over a 10 minute period. That you need to slog through an additional 5 minutes of padding every time you want to retry.

    Did we need another one of these. Go see my original FNAF review for my full thoughts, but by this instalment, the franchise has grown incredibly tiring and increasingly annoying.

    sister location es la nueva entrega de esta franquicia que se agradece que se haya tomado el tiempo para realizarse, no como entregas pasadas que se hicieron con prisa, esta entrega ha perdido lo repetitivo lo cual lo hace mas interesante, cada personaje tiene su propio momento para ''brillar'' dentro del juego lo cual se agradece. We get to see multiple locations, minigames better than that of Five Nights at Freddy's 3 and an introduction of very new characters.     This game has its perks, but it also has some major flaws. One of the biggest flaws this game has is the annoying sound effects and dialogue you can't skip. Whenever you flash that light crawling through Foxy's area you have to sit through the most annoying, ear piercing sound ever. There are a lot of parts full of mechanical sounds that are annoying as well. If you die at a certain partThis game has its perks, but it also has some major flaws. One of the biggest flaws this game has is the annoying sound effects and dialogue you can't skip. If you die at a certain part you are also forced to listen to the same dialogue over, and over, and over with no way of turning it off unless you mute your computer completely.

    Another issue this game suffers from is the checkpoints. They are a nice inclusion, but they may be spread too far apart. Certain parts of the game are too long to want to repeat over and over (especially since you can't skip the dialogue).This is especially frustrating when the game doesn't help you understand what you're supposed to do next. It can be pretty trial and error, but you'll find yourself repeating earlier parts just to try figuring out what you're supposed to do next.

    I applaud the new direction. That's a plus. However, it is too story driven and focuses less on gameplay compared to previous entries. Yes, the gameplay is there, but it takes a backseat to the story (which, again, if you lose you're hearing the same stuff over, and over, and over). The game mechanics did need changed, but I wish they were the focus over the story in this game. It kind of takes you out of the scary environment when you find yourself paying more attention to the dialogue and less to the animatronics who are supposed to be your main focus. I also think the animatronic designs didn't make a lot of sense given the story. I get you're supposed to be scared of them, but they're supposed to be rented out to children's birthday parties, so why are they designed like this? It makes no sense. That Bonnie puppet especially made no sense to me. It has no legs, but I'm supposed to believe it's running around on its own?

    It was nice to see a more flushed out story, but with annoying sound effects, unskippable dialogue, checkpoints too few and far in between, the gameplay taking a backseat to the story, and dumb looking animatronics I can't really rate this higher.    … Expand

    Sister Location is definatly the best game since FNaF 1 and it is a huge improvement over 2, 3, & 4, the game is still pretty flawed though and it still doesn't reveal much of the lore. The mechanics are neat, the voice acting is great, the story is pretty good, and the animations and level design have improved greatly.     I really liked this game and its probably my 2nd favourite fnaf game(after fnaf 1).The voice acting was great,the gameplay is linear and it looks like it's not fnaf and that's good.I only didn't like the fact that it takes 4-5 hours to beat the game.If the gameplay is linear than there should be at least 7 nights,not just 5.But still,I rate it 10/10.

    Very innovative, every night is different, graphics better than the previous and more scary and tense. The voices that Scott chose are perfect and fit in all the characters of the game, making the game more immersive.

    A Big improvement. unlike Fnaf 2, 3 and 4, this game is not just sitting in one single room, each nights were different now. Creepy and unsettling. the voice acting was incredible. the game would be better if Baby actually appeared in your face or having a jumpscare, rather than just hearing her voice.

    The story and the gameplay mixed together is balanced. I love the jumpscares and I would choose them any day over FNAF 3. The story really makes you think. Overall Sister Location is a great game.

    Now I've said that the 4th one wasn't as good, but this one is still worse. The lore is just confusing and it is way different towards the first 4 games. I can't blame Scott, because this isn't part of the original chapter, but it doesn't deserve the name Five Nights at Freddy's in this game as much as the others.

    FNaF is back! After two mediocre games, Sister Location brings FNaF back to its former glory, with gameplay mechanics we all missed, and some very good additions to the lore. This game probably ranks second or third in the franchise in my book.

    This is a really great game it was really worth using the 10$ steam card i got from my friend on my birthday great game and scott stepped it up by adding voice acting and voice lines it like the orriginals but it has voice acting

    This is definitely an improvement over the last four games. Mainly for being less repetitive. Every night has a new unique style of play. The main problem with the game that carries over from the over games is the lack of replay value.

    The trailer for this game looked fantastic, but unfortunately I found Sister Location to be kind of boring.. I hate saying that because you can tell that Scott was trying to make it so each night was different, but for whatever reason, this game felt less scary and less fun than all of the others.     The Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location Is At Least A Decend the Game. If you are FNAF Fanboy and still not own it you will like it. If your looking for horror game save money for other money.

    This game is incredible, totaly new look into the horror genre and FNaF itself, I was originaly worried that it would be another basic point and click but it was much better than I originaly thought!

    It's certainly different, but it's fun. This game challenges the user to solve puzzles in order to advance, feels more like you're working in an animatronic restaurant. This sets it apart from the rest.

    I think that this is game is a master piece even though i never played it but you know what would be awesome? if there was an action/horror/comedy movie about five nights at freddy's was put in theaters.You have to agree with me about there being a five nights at freddy's movie.

    This game feels very average to me, It gets really tiresome and boring after a while. The animatronics aren't even remotely scary. Playing this game feels like a chore more than anything. Huge step back.

    It was the most innovative game this franchise has ever had. Abandoning old methods and creating new ones, but again, what was supposed to be closing a saga, once again creates more questions than solutions.

Of course the jumpscares like Five Nights At Freddys 4 are very well made and terrifying as hell, and the first inclusion of voice acting is very well executed. Sister Location is an amazing idea with very scary moments jumpscares and an atmosphere that is jaw dropping, the levels even support that with the mystery and the amazing gameplay for each night, it might very well be the best in the series again it’s a hard competition but None the less it’s for you to decide.     An entertaining and atmospheric experience that changed the FNaF formula. Although this takes more time to explain the lore of the series, it is a worthy and sometimes challenging take in Scott's creations.
    edit: forgot to talk about the soundtrack, which is very cool!

    FNAF 5:SL has a clear emphasis on the story for this entry compared to the others. You focus on completing different objectives each night leading to an ending rather than focusing your attention on one objective that gets harder each night like the predecessors.

    As a Fnaf game, this doesn't function well. But as a game on its own, it has a great and complex story (as these games have), and very scary tone and presentation that helps deliver a really good game. I highly recommend this to those that love horror games, but not to Fnaf fans, since it is not really works as a good Fnaf game.

    This used to be a horror franchise grounded in reality, with a old school 80s vibe, and now it's some weird futuristic minigame...thing?

    This game has a much different feel than the other games in the Fnaf franchise. Fairly creative gameplay with some major differences. Such as controlled shocks, locating around the Sister Location, and fixing springlocks. Still relys on jumpscares.

    Scott does it again with another great for FNAF game. I consider this to be the best one by far! It has a great story, really interesting gameplay mechanics that keep the game fresh, the refreshing sci-fi like environments, and the jump scares are perhaps the best in the franchise, it’s a game that always gives me chills when playing, the only real problem here is the difficulty spike in the 3rd and 4th night, especially the Funtime Foxy and Springlock sections, they were so hard, that it sorta took me out of the game, but otherwise, it’s the most ambitious and daring fnaf game, going for more gameplay and story, along side it’s stunning sci-fi like visuals, I highly recommend this game for anybody who is a fnaf fan, or even some non fnaf fans, as it shows the quality of these games    … Expand

The main complaint about the main game is how it can become trial and error in trying to beat the game. You will just keep dying until you figure out how to beat it or look up a guide. It has a pretty good story with some awesome voice    Score: 8.5/10

It has a pretty good story with some awesome voice acting. I also really like the style of this game and the music is great too. The real reason this is one of my favorite entries is because of the custom night. It is one of the best designed custom nights in the series. Every character has a purpose and a way to stop them. It also barely relies on any RNG. The best example is Golden Freddy mode which is the hardest difficulty. It took me many tries but each time I died I could feel myself improving and getting better at the gameplay until I finally beat it. It is very rewarding to see how skill plays such a big factor into the custom night mode.    … Expand

    really good game like for 1 person.I mean he haven't done everything because he can't just make every voice by himself.Remember that game code,3d art,2d art was made by one person.

    Venimos de fnaf 4 en dónde también cambiaron las mecánicas sín embargo hay era más dinámico
    en este juego cada noche es completamente diferente y muchas ni siquiera sabes qué hacer en la noche de las mini dinas es muy frustrante además de que los personajes literalmente solo parece una vez y ahí ya no volverás a saber nada de ellos el hecho de los 2 finales es original, en especial cuando la única vez que se vio eso era en las 3 y fnaf world lo cuento como no canónico pero lo de sus historias de los personajes son nulas y todo el sistema de las noches sin cámaras y hacer manejo diferentes cada vez sea muy mal implementado pues sería bueno poder mejorar todo eso además de que el minijuego de fun Time foxy simplemente horrible    … Expand

    I’m glad Cawthon is looking for a new direction for FNAF, but Sister Location has a poorly outlined story, its gameplay is not all that engaging and additionally it lacks tension present in previous games. [13/2016, p.68]
