    This game overall is alright, Story is fine, gameplay could be better but what ruins it is the horrible launch of the game, tons of bugs glitches and bad quality, they did fix some of it but even today it could be better

    -The game’s not scary (except bots)
    -When you are at 6AM an upper you want to collect all prizes and logs but game doesnt let you save the game.
    -Level Design, Game Map is too bad. You can easily lost.
    -The Maxercise Maze puzzle is bad it just a time waster. When you go to beat Monty after 6AM it may be more bad cuz you cant save.
    -Lots of bugs some of because loading screen.
    +Story is good, Freddy is good, Prince Quest 1,2,3 is good.    … Expand

    What is the story here? They're things like House of Leaves which has an involved narrative, and then you have stuff like this which has NO narrative! This game has and tells no story.     I love the game
    there is so muc hto do and no bugs anymore and the new DLC is sooo good and as someone who loves the fnaf lore this is a really good game because in such a big game there is also more lore to think which means that i can watch more game theory on youtube
    every hardcore fnaf fan has to play the game this game is a 10/10

    Its mid i play the ps5 version so its not that buggy but its not scary its more cool and full of colors. the robots act very human, like robots aren't even that advanced to jump around and run like they do in the game. freddy can feel pain which is wired because he is a robot. The game can be brutally dificult at times which i hate

    Wrong. The horror factor is quickly replaced with frustation, and little tension almost always, it has the save mechanic as RE or the Evil Whithin, only that they not have any automatic save for important events, making things like exploring a real chore, and talking about exploring, the map is pretty bad though, it is too big and it doesn´t show were you should go, or if you had completely explored anything, or even the rooms names, so If you like exploring, sorry for you.

    Failure in the entire gaming industry. A horror game turned into a cute game for kids. Shame. They also say that this is a continuation of the plot. I'm giving it a 2 just for the gameplay. But the game is bad.

Well you've also played Five Nights at Freddy's:Security Breach without knowing it! Its so obvious to me that this game WANT to be Outlast so badly, but instead of implementing the subtle yet genius ways in which that game made its killers feel real and threatening it instead uses thing like teleportation, security drones, and other trivial mechanics that take away from the tension as a whole. Eventually, the game just turns into an obstacle course, hence my "Worlds Hardest Game" comparison.

    Ignoring all of the bugs and technical issues(which is a LOT), the game is broken. The moment-to-moment gameplay is boring and stale, but not in any kind of way that can be fixed. In order to truly fix security breach, they would have to remake the entire game from the ground up.    … Expand

    Overall not that great of a game. The story is not executed well, bugs are everywhere, Very questionable Plot, and 3D does not fit the style of the other FNAF releases. They should have gone to the drawing board with this one. (I hope I'm not being too harsh though) They should keep it 2D but points for trying to make a 3D game!

    Five Nights at Freddy's Security Breach, this game is really cool. Yes, at the start of the game, there were quite a few bugs and errors in it that prevented the game from progressing. But after the patches the game keeps getting better and better! I think it's a cool game. Reasons to buy the game:
    1.) Truly unique and cool level design!
    2.) The style of the game goes well with its    Five Nights at Freddy's Security Breach, this game is really cool.     While this is absolutely NOT a good game, i still love it for so many reasons. It had passion and you can tell the devs had fun making this. The gameplay is fun (to me), and the visuals are absolutely georgeous. Though it isn't scary. Overall, i enjoy it, but its not good

    The game itself is fine , but it has a few problems that even patches do not go away , bugs , audio errors , low resolution textures and others .
    The story is beautiful if you are a fan of FNaF, if you can't make it a bit long and boring, I liked the missions (sometimes repetitive) but quite well
    I really liked being a fan of FNaF

    Security Breach was an awful experience all the way through. From the poorly told story to the game-breaking bugs to the lack of horror, this is not a game you should pick up. The main protagonist is never given a reason, motivation, or explanation for his continued presence at the setting. The gameplay is essentially just a walking simulator, scattering around the pizzaplex avoiding the S.T.A.F.F bots that are plastered everywhere as a poor excuse for horror. The endgame is completely ridiculous, forcing the player to enter a permadeath segment that can last for hours to get a majority of the endings, and all of this is made even worse by a mass amount of performance issues, game breaking bugs, and cut content.

    Although I won't immediately write the game completely off. The design of the setting itself is done wonderfully, and the most fun I had with the game was just exploring the first segment, mostly full of throwbacks to classic titles I have enjoyed. But it is just so empty and poorly executed that it doesn't really matter in the end. The only side content that is present outside of the main story and endings is finding maybe ~4 arcade machines that only add something to the story of you know some of the lore of the connected franchise.

    Overall, I would not recommend you buy this game for any price under 10$. Even with the 40$ I spent to buy the game at launch, even with all of the exploring I did, even with my getting almost everything it had to offer, I could only squeeze around 8 hours out of this title.    … Expand

    FNaF security breach is an enigma of a game. It's the most normal horror game in the series, but a huge departure for the series, as you are now exploring a huge amusements facility called the "Pizzaplex", while running away from the numerous animatronics trying to hunt you down. It's the most normal horror game in the series, but a huge departure for the series, as you are now exploring a huge amusements facility called the "Pizzaplex", while running away from the numerous animatronics trying to hunt you down. Most of the game is linear, but there are a couple of split paths and a multitude of endings you can get.

    All that sounds well and good doesn't it? A relatively linear exploration horror game with lots of endings and a good amount of alternative and end game content? Well... This is where stuff gets awkward. See, Security Breach is buggy. Very buggy. So buggy that since its release, the game has had a bug fix fixing over 200 issues, and the game is still absolutely swarmed with bugs in every single corner. So buggy that many speedrunners have challenged themselves to beat the game with ridiculous rules like no running or beating the bosses in reverse order. So buggy that in my first casual play through of the game, I managed to get softlocked not once, not twice, but EIGHT individual times through the entire run. I've rarely had a game softlock on me, but to have it happen eight times in a single run through a game is both impressive and pathetic to me.

    So why am I rating this game so positively? Firstly, I find glitches and bugs both fascinating and hilarious most of the time, and this game was a treasure chest for such things. Secondly, beyond its buggy code, the actual core game was pretty fun, and had some really effective and enjoyable moments. At numerous times through the game, I felt that the atmosphere was brilliant, or that I would have loved to have a party at the Pizzaplex. While I think it's hard to argue the game is good, I had a lot of fun with it, and I still love going back and just exploring the brilliantly realised environments every now and then.    … Expand

    wow ich habe noch nie so ein verbugtes spiel gespielt. in monty golf clipt man bis heute nach den patch durch die wand in afton ende ist kann es sein das wen du von roxy angegriffen wirst und du in freddy dich verdeckst das du beim raus gehen aus freddy das speil denkt das du in roxy dich verdeckt hast wes wegen du in roxy dan spawnst, monty kann dich nicht in spiel töten nach seinen boss kampf. wen du zu schnell von einen gebiet ins andere gehst kannst du in nicht geladenen wenden stecken bleiben und aus der welt fallen. die liste an bugs kann unendlich lang weiter gehen, das spiel ist bis jetzt der schlechteste teil der fnaf serie. das spiel kann noch so gut aussehen und kann von mir aus auch eine gute story haben aber die bugs ziehen einfach das spiel von der qualität runter und oben drauf kommt noch dazu das dieses spiel nicht gruselig ist von der Atmosphäre. das gruseligste in game sind die map Roboter die dich an zwei stellen erschrecken.    … Expand

    Not only that, but the game fails entirely at being Scary. I’ve seen some argue that the game is “not meant to be scary”. Are you kidding me? The game about dead kids being stuffed into animatronics is not meant to be scary? The jump scares are laughable, and the only part I genuinely felt a little but of discomfort was during the daycare mission. Sadly, that’s at the very beginning of the game and nothing like that mission appears anywhere else throughout the rest of it. From a lore standpoint (yes, I watch matpat’s videos on the fnaf series) it is incredibly frustrating, as one of the most ambitious instalments of the franchise leaves more questions than answers.

    Vanny, who is shown to be one of the main antagonists throughout the game, is so under-utilised it’s frustrating. Freddy (while I love the dad vibes I get from him), just gets removed from the story in certain situations for very stupid reasons (ie. him not being able to visit the dj music man area because he says he’ll just start busting a move).

    This game in general upsets me. I was super hype for this game but it was just way too ambitious and rushed. In my humble opinion, this franchise should lie in the horror genre. So many fnaf fan games and media (YouTube) shows how this franchise has so much potential to be truely horrifying. But sadly steel wool has just tried to lean towards the kids more which is where a lot of my frustrations come from. A lot of media tries to lean towards kids way too much even though they could benefit from aiming for a higher age group.

    Look, in the end dlc could make this game good. Heck it could make it an actual scary game. But it’s just sad that we had to wait this long for a good game. But I’m still hoping that we can get that scary game steel wool was envisioning. Looking forward to fnaf plus though. That fan game is actually looking quite scary.    … Expand

    What made FNAF different and it's charm was always the fast and precise multitasking, which there is some very short part in-game but are also completely buggy. All else is being pursued in a mall by teleporting animatronics in fortnight graphic style.

    It also really feel like that game story had been rewritten in last minute to try to be surprising, and instead being boring and non-sensical, like a last season of GoT. The game is beautifully colored, which remove even more to the horror that should be there. In fact, I would even say that there isn't any horror element unless you are under 10 years old, which seems to be the target public.

    Don't buy this game, don't condone SteelWool and this kind of rip-off, and if you are a FNAF fan, just watch a walk through and wait 6 month after release next time.    … Expand

    in my opinion this game is amazing everything in it is just amazing yea its not one of the most polished games but still the bugs are not a problem for me and also after the 1.05 patch the game is a lot more playable. I played the game on every of the platforms that is on and overall i love the game

    I will add an higer vote when the game will be out for ALL platforms.
    It's disgusting see how Sony already taked away FNaF from others in the moment the franchise finally reached the console players.
    Hoping Steel Wool will respect the deal and will make the game for Xbox and Switch on 17th March. Timed exckusive are the worst, I never liked them, no matter if Sony or others.

I have GTX 1650 (when i checked on Steam, it says you need to have at least a GTX 1050 TI to play this) its quite laggy but its still playable. The scary part of FNAF has always been how the jump scares surprise you, but like, in this you see them coming from a mile away. also the gameplay gets repetitive very quick, like its basically go do this, now do that, oh now you gotta do that, oh wait you forgot to save, do it all again, like that is not a fun gameplay experience, and btw you can't even save in the endgame, so have fun doing it all over again if you die, thats fun. But now I will say the only reasons this game gets a 3, and not a 1. the lore is actually pretty interesting, I thought I would hate freddy's direction, but he is actually pretty, cool, the subtle nods to previous games is also very cool as well , but other then that. this game is NOT worth your money, if you even get the game, wait for it to be fixed, even though its still not good when it's not buggy, or wait for a sale, which i still don't think would be worth your money.… Expand

Fnaf security breach even though extremely beautiful and has great environments is extremely flawed gameplay and story wise, The game is mostly stupid game breaking bugs that can ruin your game experience and ruin the immersion that you would get with other games, the game story wise is not great its stupid how you have to escape the pizza plex but instead you go mindless collectathon where you get an item and go back and it repeats that until its 6 am and get 6 horrible endings. The fact people defend this game and use stupid excuses because it's a fnaf game just shows how childish this fanbase really is.
    The game is 40 dollars and you only get 4 hours of story, only if you know where to go, If you don't know where to go it could take up to 7 to 10 hours because the devs couldn't give you a indication on where you should navigate in this big pizza plex. The animatronics are supposed to look scary but instead look extremely so hard to be scary, They will look more corroded as you go along, The animatronic Ai is the worst thing I've ever seen since they will sometimes find you, teleport to you or completely forget you after you go behind a corner. The only good part about the game is the basement, the basement section is the only "scary" part since the endos don't give out a loud sound to indicate that they have spotted you instead you will hear their footsteps running closer and closer to you before jumpscaring you, I have to say it definitely got me the first time but got pretty dull the second time. The boss fights which aren't good at all are pretty goddamn boring since with monty you shoot some balls into a large bucket to crush monty and get his claws, With roxxane you get a cutscene and that's it and with chica you go to the underground that's it, Freddy is definitely the most overpowered and annoying he sometimes will go to you and sometimes he will bug out and not come to you. Gregory is the most annoying child I've ever seen, He kills the animatronics for no reason only to upgrade Freddy so you can use his new ability for abit before either staying where you get a checkpoint where everytime you die all the progress you made after 6 am is completely gone because they couldn't bother finishing this god awful game. Now I know steelwool studios said they would update it 2 months after the game released 2 MONTHS!!! You basically had to wait 2 months just for them to do the bare minimum with updating this game. Now this was my review on security breach, If the game wasn't good looking I would have given this game a 0/10 no matter how many people worked on this game or not, and if anyone gets angry at my review your the part of the community I was talking about.    … Expand

I like the overall design and the plot is intriguing, especially for long time fans of FNAF even if the other aspects don't hit quite right. I have NOT played the game and inferring from the fact that people who have advanced gaming setups can barely run this game, I don't think I can. Security Breach is rushed, broken and tedious. I will admit this, this game clearly had some effort put into it, and I do think Steel Wool cares about FNaF, but this was WAY too big for them. They should have decreased the size of the project, or just delayed it a bit longer, they didn't need to release it now.

    Before we continue, let's address the problems the other reviews have, be it from Steam or this platform. The game's save points are annoyingly scarce, and the game straight up turns them off for the last leg of the game, who let that idea pat the brainstorming process and into the game? The game is very boring, most of the tasks are just get an item that might be important in the long run. The AI has the IQ of cardboard, they easily get distracted, and lose interest when you turn a corner. I'll admit, Roxy's lunge and Monty's immunity to the Faz Cam and Fazer Blast are kind of cool, but most of the time, Chica is the one chasing you. Vanny and Vanessa. Vanny, as you've heard a billion times, barely shows up in game, and Vanessa, someone who was heard trying to help Gregory in the trailer, is another shoehorned antagonist.

    Now for the stuff I hate. The lore. OH GOD, THE LORE. You know the FNaF 6 ending, the one where Henry sacrificed himself to burn all the remaining trapped souls? That means nothing now. ABSOLUTLY NOTHING. The Glitchtrap virus, which should've stayed as a virus, was reincarnated as William's corpse, while Molten Freddy, now known as The Blob, survived the fire by assimilating other animatronics, including Baby and The Puppet, the other two that were supposed to be free. But don't worry! They both show up (Afton and The Blob) in a three minute boss fight that ends with William burning AGAIN.

    Back to gameplay, the Staff Bots. they're annoying as **** There is a billon of them around each area, and if one happens to spot you, not only will you get a cheap jumpscare, but a random animatronic will be teleported to your location and possibly kill you and send all the way back to a save point which may be MILES away from your objective. The animatronics can teleport by themselves too.

    There are so many bugs that I can't even address all of them in one review, but they include: The Daycare Attendant getting stuck for no reason, softlocks, time travel bugs (You can be sent back hours, go ask Phisnom) and the list goes on and on.

    And Freddy? OP as **** hiding in his chest prevent almost every animatronic from seeing you. The battery lasts a lot longer that you might think, and he's gonna get even more powerful as you upgrade him.

    This ain't even all the complaints, but I'm trying to keep this review below the character limit. These bugs may be actively being patched, but the damage has already been done. I am a huge fan of the FNaF series, but I can't recommend this game.    … Expand

I've been such a huge FNAF fan for 8 years now, and I was so hopeful that this game would be the one to really throw the series into incredible territory. But I was completely wrong, and this game to me just felt like endless disappointment.

    Everyone has discussed the glitches and bugs in this game endlessly, but I genuinely felt like giving up on the game multiple times because of these issues. It felt like I was encountering frustrating glitches every hour or so, and it really made the gameplay hard to enjoy. When an animatronic can spawn right in front of you, or kill you through a wall, or freeze in place for no reason, it makes dealing with them unfun.

    The save system is horrendous, and I genuinely cannot believe it was approved. The amount of times I'd be caught by an animatronic (sometimes because of glitches...) and it'd send me back to my previous save, sometimes being over 30 minutes beforehand, was ludicrous. It got to the point where dealing with animatronics and progressing wasn't scary or exciting, it was just frustrating, because I didn't want to have to keep going back to my previous save if I lost. And the decision to remove saving after 6AM is crazy to me too, it's a terrible design choice, added only to artificially pad out game length/difficulty in the worst way possible.

    One of my biggest issues with this game is just how utterly incomplete and unfinished it feels. So many elements from the trailers were cut from the game, to the point that this feels like a totally different game to what we saw in the trailers. Perhaps the worst offense in this regard is the treatment of Vanessa/Vanny. She was set up in previous games, and in the trailers, to be a huge part of this game, acting as the main villain. But playing through the game, you'll soon see that she's completely pointless; her inclusion was miniscule, and she genuinely felt like she had 90% of her role cut from the game because it wasn't finished.

    Another example of this issue is the fact that almost all the endings are comic book strips... this genuinely made me laugh because of how strange and out of place it felt. It's obvious the developers, sadly, didn't have time to finish the game. And that sense of incompleteness is perhaps its biggest issue. The choice to bring back a certain character in the 'true ending' is something that I completely dislike, but I understand whether you like that or not is subjective. But to me, it felt like undoing the endings of the previous games, and as a huge fan of the lore of this series, that was a really bad decision.

    On the bright side, the character designs of this game were incredible, and the graphics were really pretty. It had a great premise, and the earliest parts of the game were fantastic. The Pizzaplex setting was awesome, and really felt like it had so much heart poured into it. There were some genuinely brilliant segments too - like the Daycare section, and the Endoskeletons section. It's just unfortunate that these are so uncommon in the game. At least Monty was consistently a fantastic character!

    Overall, this game felt like absolutely massive wasted potential. It could've been a game-changer in the series, but it's clear that the game needed much longer in development than it got. I was so excited, and sadly, the game let me down in a lot of places. So I wouldn't recommend buying this game, but I'll remain hopeful that the developers will listen to the criticisms of the players, and that future games in the FNAF franchise will improve on the formula built here.    … Expand

I don’t really have one certain big issue with this game, it’s more of the little things that bother me, which oh boy, there are a lot of. Asides from the clear fact nobody play-tested this game, I think that it honestly shows good potential once the bugs and glitches are cleaned up, only issue is that it’s not scary. When Steelwool Studios made the decision to break the FNAF mold, they were actively deciding to go completely rouge and pretty much write a whole new game, that certainly doesn't fit in along the rest. The jump scares are nothing special, half of them use the same high-pitched scream that’s just slowed down and edited for different animatronics. And the animatronics themselves are clearly designed to appeal to children, with bright colors and sleek polished looks. Do I think that FNAF Security Breach is a terrible game? No, not necessarily. I just don’t think it’s very good either. Buy it if you want, I don’t really care, just don’t set your expectations too high, because this game most likely won’t meet them.… Expand

В игре нет 80% того, что показали в трейлерах. Возвращение Спрингтрапа высосано из пальца. Дизайн аниматроников 50 на 50. Вроде прикольно, а вроде что-то не то. Она не достойна своих 725 рублей. Даже TJOC, который сделан на том же движке, выглядит, играется и атмосфера ощущается в нем намного лучше, чем в СБ.… Expand

    After the Halloween Dlc for help wanted came out, Vanny was revealed to shift the game into a new era as the new villain. Picking up where William left off under his control. Now try telling me that Vanny wasn't in one of the game promotions. Vanny was hyped up so much in each and every trailer and promotion. Her voice lines in the trailers: PERFECT. Her visuals in trailers: PERFECT. The tension and chills made everyone excited to go up against this antagonist. But what do we get: Almost every single voice line cut off from the trailer and only seeing her for 5 minutes max. She just felt like an animatronic instead of the main antagonist. The only time she was actually a thrilling threat was in just one ending cutscene. As for the rest of the endings, it was extremely underwhelming.

    Not only that, but Vanessa, the person trying to fight her counterpart and help Gregory escape, was cut off. She was just a pain in the butt out for Gregory as well and the only good in her was when you got the good ending, whereas you set her free and even that was underwhelming because she was barely highlighted through out the whole game. I'm going to do another review about other aspects of the game but this deserved a review alone.    … Expand

I don't know how this even got mediocre reviews to be honest. I actually know because the ones giving high ratings either didn't play this game or are so gullible to believe it was actually good and because it's fnaf you can't say anything bad about it. Go **** them this game is an absolute disappointment. I gave this game a chance and played through it a bit. While playing I noticed many graphic and frame rate bugs that seem to lower the quality of movement and certain graphics. Then I noticed that the AI was literal garbage is extreme ways. For example when I call Freddy he walks either past me or runs to completly different places where he shouldn't go. The animatronics sometimes just glitch out and are stuck or don't even notice me when I'm directly infront of them. Sometimes they noticed me when they shouldn't. Those other robots are just plain annoying and frustrating to deal with. Those and many other things don't make the game scary, but plain annoying. This is enough to give this game a low rating, but it gets even worse. At some points some checkpoints weren't working properly and I couldn't save for a long time. Shortly before another checkpoint I got killed and had lost an extreme amount of progression. When I came back to the checkpoint that didn't work for unknown reasons, it suddenly was completly functional. This is the point where I nearly gave up playing because this is literal **** right there. Though I came back now and continued my safe file. After experiencing other glitches, some minor some greater where I had to reset. I came to a point where I ended up here. A important event in some kind of theatre didn't trigger and I couldn't progress. I tried to ask for help online, but it still wouldn't work. At this point I gave up, because my game file was officially broken and I can't bring myself to play this terrible mess of a game all over again. I had really high hopes for this game. I really did. Though I finally have to admit that it is an utter failure and a waste of money. I'm not the biggest fnaf game, but I like to follow the lore though I enjoyed playing the other games like Pizzaria Simulator, fnaf 1 and sister location. I've only gone over the mechanical failures of the game, but I think there is more. Even without any glitches and bugs I still would dislike this game. What made fnaf scary and a good horror game for me was the feeling of isolation and the mysterious things happening around me that led to the construction of theories. Many things are already kinda solved in the fnaf community so this game had a problem from the very beginning. The appeal of mystery wasn't really there anymore as many things are resolved. What they had to do is maybe expand the story a bit like involving Williams Wife for example. They did this with Vanessa a bit though it didn't feel natural. Having a talking character and Freddy as someone who constantly helps you takes away the isolation and the feeling of dread. You can appease maybe kids with that though as an older person I expected more. This game nearly seems to be disconnected with the lore and involving springtrap just felt old and borring. All endings also felt unnatural and displeasing. Other endings like that of Sister location gave us open questions we had to answer while here they felt rushed and without any content as if this game is not involved in the main fnaf series. Giving the animatronics a personality was a mistake because they just felt silly while they should feel like dreaful horrors possesed by the otherwordly. Vanny ane Vanessa can be excused because they are human. I however feel that Gregorys Character also sucked and he didn't feel like an actual kid that would despair in a situation like that. Making Vanessa seem like a scary person also failed because she is just a normal worker until we find out that she is Vanny. The characters all feel out of place which also makes the general story suffer. Now I could say a bit more, but I feel like I don't have enough characters to finish. If you hate other AAA games for their terrible launches like Fallout 76, No Mans Sky, Cyberpunk 2077, Call of Duty Vanguard and Battlefield 2042 then you should hate Fnaf Security Breach too as it is by far the worst Fnaf game you'll ever experience. A near unplayable buggy mess with an empty story, borring characters and an unscary experience which makes this a failure of a Horror Game. Play Resident Evil or other Fnaf games, but not this one as you'll hate it if you don't force yourself to like it and suck the developers dick by finding stupid excuses.     A very good game, love the new gameplay style where you can explore stuff but the main problem here it's the story even though it's a good one but it's not as satisfying as Fnaf Help Wanted the last game of this series, sadly there's alot of bug's in game.

I would say that I though this was my favorite game yet, untill about 1/3 in the game, where the rush is starting to shine, more and more. With loads of (near) finished features, cut from the game, a litteral hundreds of pretty simple glitches and bugs (from which some are easely done in a casual playthough, sometimes even softlocking your savefile), gameplay feeling useless, not explained well and the story having a lot of unplesant holes in it (and I am not talking about necessairy lore secrets), the main ending feeling worse than lackluster, this game is one of the worst experiences I have had in a while.
    Though now you might be confused why I still give it a 5 then, the game shines brightly at some moments, it is by far one of the best looking games and most emersive games I have ever seen! In my opinion, this game should have been delayed with another 2 years, and something small inbetween. If the devs didn't announce the game this early in development, then they could just relax, sit back and make the probably bast experience I have ever seen.
    There is a lot of cut content, that would have improved the game to a 7.5/8 if they would have just kept it in, there was almost nothing stopping them from keeping these features, since removing them would have taken as long as finishing them.    … Expand

    Gone are the days of the terrifying designs, now we have kid friendly cartoony versions of the animatronics, that spit out one of the same 5 lines every 3 seconds, ruining all the possible fear/tension you might have felt, which in itself is very unlikely.

    FNAF:Help Wanted implied that the next entries will be moving away from the story of FNAF 1 - 6 + UCN, by setting up a new main antagonist and a new era of FNAF, but this promise wasn't kept. The main antagonist is barely even in the game.

    The story just feels like poorly written fan-fiction.

    I know that is quite a bit wrong with this game such as the confusing map and the glitches but overall I really enjoyed the game for the majority of the time I was playing it, and I feel that by the time all the patches are finished people and some additional updates this game will be that bit more enjoyable.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really wanted to like this game. Seriously, I did. The game looked so promising from the trailers, FNAF was back and better than ever! Or, supposedly it was. Sadly, that is not the case.

    It's even more frustrating when you realize that this game had definite potential. The animatronic designs are amazing, the Pizzaplex is a refreshing change of pace, and has a wonderful vibe to it, and some moments in the game (the daycare leaps to mind), were legitimately terrifying.

    Unfortunately, a lack of polish holds this game down. Stealth is ridiculously, unforgivably easy, especially considering the AI of games like Alien: Isolation, which released 7 YEARS PRIOR to this. Not to mention how, after getting the Fazer Blaster or Faz Cam, stealth becomes all but useless with a few exceptions (Roxy after you get her eyes [meaning right at the endgame] and Monty). And since it seems like Chica's the one chasing you most of the time, you don't have to really worry about those exceptions.

    Despite the Pizzaplex having good visual design, the level design is a bit rough. Lots of backtracking, the game not making it clear where you have to go (objective markers might have helped there), oh, and the save stations being turned off at the last leg of the game. Meaning if you want to get the third upgrade and the true ending, you better not **** up, or you're gonna be sent all the way back to the start. That choice is so baffling to me. Who thought it was a good idea?

    The security bots are annoying as hell, there are way too many of them, and they somehow manage to be more frightening than the actual main animatronics half the time, which is the exact thing that shouldn't happen. Oh, and speaking of the main animatronics, there are some serious bugs that can easily break the game, from Roxy post-eye removal not charging at the player properly, to Freddy's call button just straight up not working.

    Last but not least, the story is WASTED. For what is easily the most narrative-focused FNAF game, with the most explicit storytelling (sorry MatPat), the story is surprisingly, appallingly paper thin. Vanessa is barely in the game, despite being billed as a main antagonist, why is Gregory in the Pizzaplex anyways, oh, and what the hell is up with the true ending? Suddenly the Pizzeria Simulator pizza place is under the Pizzaplex? Afton survived the fire? Where'd Vanny go during all of this, wasn't she supposed to be the main antagonist who was possessed by Afton? So many plot threads introduced, none of them given proper explanation or weight, leaving the entire thing feeling half-baked at best.

    Overall, this game squanders a lot of initial promise beneath bugs, poor design, and wasted story and characters. It sucks because this could've easily been the best FNAF game yet, and the one to reignite widespread interest in the franchise. Instead, I have a feeling this game is gonna burn out and die at a rapid pace. No idea what the future holds for this franchise. Only time will tell at this point. Whatever it is, hopefully it's better than this.    … Expand

    1: This game is long which is a plus.
    2: the game does not hold your hand like games people love today
    3: visuals are amazingly well done
    4: large map. I want free roam and for me free roam is not the size of a small room
    5: tough, because easy is not fun
    6: there are bugs. Well this is not a pro but I can’t complain because all games start with bugs and to think that this one would not have them makes one delusional.
    7: limited saves, makes you have to use your head to get past areas

    1: no VR pc support.
    2: would of loved more interaction with the animatronics but that probably would of been out of place so not truly a con.
    3: seeing user reviews. They want it fully flushed out , smaller map, easy, and tons of saves. These people would never of survived resident evil early games where you had to use you head to get past puzzles, no hand holding, and limited saves.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is easily probably the worst game in the franchise for a number of reasons. First off, gameplay. Even though the older games were point and click Indy games, they still felt much more fun and challenging to play than Security Breach. The gameplay is pretty much just running around and away from things, that’s it. There’s not much strategy to the game at all like in all the games past. It almost felt too easy at times. Well, that is if the game worked properly. Which goes into the next thing, the bugs. This game feels extremely rushed, as the bugs were extremely plentiful.

    Next up is lore wise. This is perhaps my biggest gripe with this game and Steel Wool Studios in general. Since Scott began to give up control of the franchise to other developers (and now retiring partially due to being cancelled over dumb stuff) the lord from the game is an absolute mess. The fitting and fulfilling ending from FNaF 6 and Ultimate Custom Night has been completely undone. Help Wanted and Security Brech has lazy writing, brining William Afton back through code which was put into a video game and allowed him to possess Vanessa and creating Vanny. This also seems to have dragged back the spirits who were previously at rest from the ending of FNaF 6. Why not just start a new chapter? Make Vanny a killer on her own will, why bring Afton back? The amazing ending is undone and tbh I have no idea what they’re doing with the lore rn. The whole concept of a dead spirit returning though haunted code is laughably bad.

    It’s disappointing to see where this franchise is going. What is Five Nights at Freddy’s becoming? Steel Wool Studios has no idea what they’re doing, someone else needs to get this IP. Scott might needa step in if I’m being honest.    … Expand

First off the bat, the amount of Bugs/glitches in it is insane, but it at least isn't anywhere near as bad as the amount in Cyberpunk 2077 at it's launch. Though the amount is still absurd considering the amount of time they had to finish the game, and then polish it up. And don't get me started on the PS4 version of the game, because on PS4, it currently runs like absolute s***, with the framerate hardly getting anywhere new 20fps, areas never loading in by the time you reach them, huge lag spikes, and enemies constantly teleporting to your location.

    Ok, onto the base actual game. Beyond all the technical issues, it's a samewhat good FNAF game. I think the most urgent thing they have to fix concerning enemies is the AI, because it's absolute dogs***. They easily loose track of you, constantly teleport, and when you gain the high ground, they back off. They urgently need to give all enemies in the game a complete redo of the AI. Especially the STAFF bots, because for a starter, there are WAY too many of them, and when u think you've managed to get past one, they'll teleport jumpscare you, where you go up a staircase, and a STAFF bot still at the bottom will still get you, like WTF. Also, they promised that there'd be entirely playable arcades in the game, but in total ONLY 4 ARCADE MACHINES ARE PLAYABLE. Like, they've got numerous huge arcades scattered around, with some having no playable arcade machines at all. It was such a huge missed opportunity to continue with the formula of 8-bit minigames revealing more lore.

    Ok, next up, Vanny. WTF happened. She was being hyped up so much to be the main looming threat of the game, but 1. 90% OF HER VOICELINES FROM THE TRAILERS WERE SCRAPPED, LEAVING HER WITH LITERALLY ONLY LIKE 3, and 2. She hardly appears at all, only ever appearing in like 3 scripted sequences. STAFF BOTS ARE MORE THREATENING THAN HER.

    Ok, story. They could've done so much more with it. It's extremely apparent that like 80% of the story that was originally going to be in the game was completely scrapped. They had so much cool ideas that they could've built on, like the plot of Vanny killing 9 kids. This only gets revealed to us in one of the endings in a newspaper and that's it. In the first trailer, we hear Vanny state that Gregory's friends are with her, but that was a scrapped line, and a long with that, THERE'S NO MENTION AT ALL OF ANY OTHER KIDS. There could've been such a cool plot line of us trying to save the other kids captured by Vanny, but they didn't do anything with it at all. Also, could've they had come up with a more unique design for Afton in his bossfight?? He's literally just a slightly redesigned Springtrap!! They could've at least taken inspiration from the trash amalgamation in the books. And none of it is given any buildup AT ALL. You just stumble upon the FNAF 6 location, Find Afton in his "new" form, burn him a couple of times while fighting a giant tentacle creature controlled by Molten Freddy that isn't given any explanation at all, and then are given a pre-rendered cutscene of Blob creature pulling Afton away, while Freddy and Gregory escape the burning Pizzaplex, like WTF. They had such important story characters, and hardly did anything with them at all.

    I'm a huge FNAF fan, I really am, but it's so hard to recommend this game at all, currently. I'd at least wait 4-6 months when the game is fixed and maybe some cut content is returned with maybe some DLC to expand on the story some more, which the game desperately needs.    … Expand

It worries me that, apart from the audio recordings, Vanessa was not disclosed, there were no dialogues with her, in fact, there was no plan disclosed, everything needs to be thought out by yourself, Although this is the whole fnaf, but here they rather did it in order to later release a book that will be released this year, secret files and plus plot stories. They will open everything there and fill up the holes. Maybe there will be dls, you can actually release them here at least every month. Optimization will be delivered over time and there will be candy in general. In advance, 10 out of 10, at least the voice actor Freddie, Just picked up perfectly and it was very nice to hear him.

Но есть великолепные записи с психологом, которые я уверен были сделаны сценаристами с психологом. Чтобы их прописать. По сути восприятие игры зависит от того, что человек прошел. Если он фанат и прошел игру на 100 проц. или хотя бы прошел просто, но остальные все детали увидел на ютюбе, то ему она не может не понравится хотя бы на 7 из 10. Беспокоит, что все же кроме аудиозаписей, ванессу не раскрыли, не было диалогов с ней по сути, не было плана раскрыто, все нужно самому додумывать, Хотя в этом и весь фнаф, но здесь скорее сделали это, чтобы потом выпустить книгу, которая выйдет в этом году, секретные файлы и плюс сюжетные рассказы. Там и раскроют все и дыры заделают. Может длс будут, сюда можно хоть каждый месяц выпускать их по сути. Оптимизацию завезут со временем и вообще конфетка будет. Заранее 10 из 10, хотя бы актера озвучки фредди, Просто подобран идеально и было очень приятно его слышать.    … Expand

    Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach tries to convince with his new gameplay mechanics but doesn't achieve this in the most parts. The only really horrible things are the bugs and the game could be so much better with more development time.

    Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach is the newest addition to the fans' favourite indie survival horror series and although it expands its ideas into 3D space marvellously, due to its performance issues it delivers an undercooked pizza experience.

    While offering a lot more varied content from previous installments, Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach is unfortunately riddled with a myriad of technical and design issues. As a result, it’s a title I can only recommend to hardcore series fans and survival horror fanatics after most of its issues have been fixed.
