    If you care about yourself, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. It is literally unplayable, it takes so long to just pass the ball, there is serious input lag issue here. In addition, animations are embarassing resembling wrestling fights between players.

    It's the same old story every time with EA and FIFA. It's just a cash grab. It's football, same game every year. No story really. The commentary is the only decent thing about it honestly. EA and FIFA are quite possibly the most corrupt, greedy, organizations in the world. I don't know how they sleep at night quite simply. I could not rate this game any lower than 0

    so the scripting/handicap/momentum is real, I left fifa in 2015 I think, due to momentum and all, I was division 1, but got tired of 6-0 0-6 games all time,

    now back to fifa 23, it played well for 3 days, then the same happens (momentum kicks in when u play for too long, in 2015 it was partially fixable by not playing for 5 days), except this time defenders could not even move, my RB    so the scripting/handicap/momentum is real, I left fifa in 2015 I think, due to momentum and all, I was division 1, but got tired of 6-0 0-6 games all time,

    now back to fifa 23, it played well for 3 days, then the same happens (momentum kicks in when u play for too long, in 2015 it was partially fixable by not playing for 5 days), except this time defenders could not even move, my RB cuadrado was stuck, I was better than opponent, but if Cuadrado can't move all of sudden, something is not right, also opponent disconnecting counts as loose , if he does that fast enough (it counts as loose in the context of limited tournament matches)

    other than that its the same fifa as in 2015, exept 2015 was more fun, now 99% of ppl play that baby face haaland and benzema, its all the same type of game, in 2015 you could try headers strategy instead of counter-attack and so on, fifa 14 was the last fun one, except some partially fixable momentum issues    … Expand

    This game on pc is almost unplayable, it crashes several times, it lags on a high end pc, it is rubbish. EA get your s**t together for pc players.

    This game is absolute trash. It does not even launch for a majority of players, not to mention countless bugs for those that can launch the game. If EA sells you a game but then you can't even play it, doesn't it count as fraud? I'm confused as to why EA is not facing serious lawsuit and that they still haven't esssentially fixed any of these issues 2 months after the launch. What the ****This game is absolute trash.     Tried all known solutions online but still not able to play.
    On top i only play Career mode so what is even the purpose of anticheat??

    I have been playing fifa since 13 and i have to say this one is by far the worst. Player career mode doesnt work as intended and the gameplay is ridled with bugs. It is probably better then a 0, nbut because of all the stess it has given me i doesnt deserve more than that

    Apparently all of EAs Game Designers were high when creating the gameplay of FIFA 23. In the last years the gameplay was often considered to be to fast and therefore unrealistic. This issue has been addressed with the biggest over correction I have ever seen thus far. Now it feels like ones players have the same mobility as a school bus on a sunday afternoon. Furthermore the new powershotApparently all of EAs Game Designers were high when creating the gameplay of FIFA 23. In the last years the gameplay was often considered to be to fast and therefore unrealistic. This issue has been addressed with the biggest over correction I have ever seen thus far. Now it feels like ones players have the same mobility as a school bus on a sunday afternoon. Furthermore the new powershot mechanic adds nothing to the gameplay but the deep desire to tear my own eyes out, as their quality is as consistent as Donald Trumps tax records.
    To conclude FIFA 23 is the only game I acquired over the last couple of months which I regret spending money on. It is easily the worst game of the series (at least of the ones I have played (15,16,17,18,20,22,23)). The other FIFA titles I have played did at least manage to be entertaining when played with friends, however this entry in the series does absolutely not. Therefore no one should buy this burning pile of trash, as it has nothing to offer but trauma and depression.    … Expand

    As always, they presented the game to us without making much changes and there are too many mistakes in the game. These mistakes need to be fixed. The man steals the ball from a distance from me. When he goes to some areas, the character goes to other places. These are not even half of the mistakes. There are more mistakes.

Since then I've tried every possible solution I could think of and find online, I'VE SPENT MORE TIME TRYING TO FIX THE GAME THAN I HAVE PLAYING IT. And nothing has worked. The game has been out for almost half a yearI was able to play for around 16 hours total when I first bought the game.     first of all, EA does not have a customer support, all the questions point to some quiz, some are investigated but I have not seen once they are even trying to help, the same goes for their twitter customer so-called support, if you have any sort of problem do not waste time with EA, they just copy paste the same messages.     1)I had a problem with game not launching, my case was auto closed with some link to quiz/faq
    2) I had a problem with some expensive players being wiped out, my case was ignored and random message we apologize but we can't do nothing, its always the same "we apologize but we cannot do nothing, have a great day". So you buy this game or anything else from EA and you are on your own, just so you know

    as for the game, this is the same exact game with exactly same GUI and updated teams

    One thing is that there is a lot of sbc content, but unfortunately the grind for it resembles going to work and not fun, from what I see its almost the same every year

    the community is super toxic, which is understandable given weird mechanics and magical scoring opportunities happening at 45' and 90' minutes, players loosing their pace and attributes all of sudden and so one, it can be seen with naked eyes

    overall the game makes me angry, nervous and anxious, it's a very toxic and exhausting experience, I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemies, I would need to deeply hate someone to recommend fifa

    The trading gambling system makes it so you need to invest real money into the game to be able to win with all those tots, icons et cetera, without it is like driving a fiat to beat a ferrari, yes you can do that but imagine how that feels

    overall this gambling system paired with zero customer support should be illegal, I wonder why the government or police is not doing anything    … Expand

    * anticheat is my biggest gripe because it's senseless and it should be disbanded from the game because you can play the game and due to anticheat your game crashes all the time we did not have these issues at all in previous FIFA's plus if you want to have fun in FIFA or play with real teams anti cheat ruined it cause mods is also cheating according to the software.
    * FIFA lacks management logic e.g you can manage a team in lower leagues and get promoted just to reduce player wages and also goals don't accurately update.
    * the game is full of bugs wonky arms,
    * microtransactions the game prefers to run a casino in a video game just like madden where you can't enjoy the game unless you cough up the dough. the game makes sure you spend money.
    * same **** different year we asked for social media and you put it in the journey which showed you have the resources and the journey also had better menus and personality features in my player but still ea still half ass their game. ea should never be given the football license because they suck at simulating games altogether madden and FIFA are ruined due to their incompetence.
    in conclusion, ea should not own any simulation licenses until they can show that they give a **** about thee game they simulate and do it properly instead of making people drench money into modes that don't benefit them.    … Expand

    If we had to rate FIFA 23 as a single release, it would definitely score high for all that it has accomplished and offered this year. But on the other hand, if one also owns last year's version and one's involvement with the series is casual and purely for light entertainment, there is no reason to invest in this year's version.

    I can safely say that ground is suitable for playing football in FIFA 23's current state. However if we know EA they'll definitely change the game drastically to reshape FUT and I'm not sure if we'll like all those changes. That being said, FIFA 23 is your best option to satiate your hunger while the World Cup is approaching.

    It’s still the leading football game in town, but EA has made only minor changes in FIFA 23, such as set piece tweaks and a new way of shooting. If you didn’t enjoy 22, chances are you won’t be too impressed with this one either.
